13Weather Forecast | 6 p.m. update, April 29, 2026Added:
Amory, as we look ahead, we're looking ahead to the next weather impacts and you're going to need the jacket. We've got some cool weather coming in. Morning temperatures, several mornings in the 30s. It is jacket weather and several rounds of light rain. Nothing very heavy and nothing severe. Nice to have a little bit of sunshine this afternoon after that soggy start. 62, it's gusty out there. We have a gust right now at 28 mph. So, a little cool, little breezy. We were 4° cooler than our average today. Average is 68. We made it to 64 and the morning rain amounted to almost a third of an inch. That steadier rain is off to our east. What we're dealing with now, just a few instability showers northeast of Indianapolis. These are pushing south of Peru headed into Marion if they hold together. It may have a few sprinkles, Hartford City. A chillier start, you'll need a heavier coat tomorrow morning. Upper 30s and low 40s under clear skies. Sunshine early, clouds later in the day. High temperatures in the upper 50s. Those clouds will be associated with another rain chance. We're dry through midday on Thursday. Come tomorrow afternoon, early evening, you can see a little green showing up. So, some spotty showers.
Steadier rain expected Thursday night into early Friday morning. But, you can see here with Future Track 13, it's not going to rain all day Friday. The steadier rain departs and then like today, we get a couple of instability showers Friday afternoon and evening.
Perhaps some steadier light rain Friday night, but that's expected to move out for the mini marathon on Saturday. 59 tomorrow, morning sun, afternoon clouds.
We'll keep you updated on that. Rain chance Thursday night into early Friday.
Friday will be a cool day. Highs only expected in the mid-50s and we'll get a pop-up shower Friday afternoon, Friday evening. Um, mainly cloudy sky for now is in the forecast for the mini marathon. If we get the clouds lingering Friday night, early Saturday, that will help keep those temperatures closer to 40 rather than the mid-30s. We'll keep you updated on that. Cool start to the weekend regardless. 54 Saturday, we'll wrap up the weekend with some sunshine.
63 on Sunday.
