Natural water bodies can become dangerous due to unpredictable water level changes, as demonstrated by a Jamaican pond in Green Hill, Manchester that has risen significantly since 2005, creating risks for residents who previously walked through it safely; the rising water has also caused environmental damage including dying trees and threatens road infrastructure, illustrating how natural water systems can pose serious safety hazards to communities.

This Jamaican Pond Has A Deadly ReputationAdded:
A lady came here with unound mind and and and she drowned. All right. Because she was on her way.
Yes, my beautiful people. Big up on yourself once again. Don't know you know it's my eyes are yours. So here want know me people. I went to Mandville right? I am in the bush. I am on the road going to Mandville or coming from Mandville.
Guys, I don't know if you are watching the channel kely or carefully. The last video that I did in the bush here, the water was way way down, but now the water is way way up. All right, my people. So people show what going on.
You know the water is constantly rising and people this not look good. So see it there. Go on. See them people.
All right. So the water is rising constantly and people for all the fish love for all the fish lovers if we don't love fish or if we don't love catch fish right outside the place. All right. So can't come stop and can't catch no fish. But guys here say have to go stand up on the water to catch a fish them. But again rumors have it that crocodile is down there which I am not well aware of. All right. So people if not go come down here try the very best to be careful. All right and you can't be too careful either you know people.
So know how we think set. All right. So see the water there.
There's a lot of water down there.
So yes, my people as can see me I try to get the clearer part for you guys to see the water.
All right.
This is as far as I get, guys. This is as close as I get to the water. So, see it there.
Yeah, man. And guys, as you know, can see the area is kind of white. I heard that the Sahara dust is over Jamaica or in Jamaica rather. All right. So, right now, my people, you guys have to be very careful on the outside. All right. Yeah, man. the weather the weather forecast um states or the weatherman states that we have Sahara dust currently in Jamaica.
All right, my people and as you can see most of the trees are dying because of too much because of you know adequate amount of water around their roots and all of those things. But people me try say if me can I go try see if I can give you guys an overhead footage of the water here in green hill. All right people a green hill me and trust me guys they see a lot of fish or fishes are in the water here because a pond was over here you know me people. So right now fish is over here.
>> Fish over here man. So yes my people as me say yeah man right now there's a lot of fish in the water here and some well the fish the fish that are in the water the fishes that are in the water here they are some tilapias. Oh my word.
Wow guys a lot a lot of fish a lot of fish in the water here. So people as me I say yeah man just need to be very careful when you come here all right and trust me people see the water there and the water goes a far far far away because it's a big piece of land right now over here is about is about 15 to 20 acres of land all right and this was a and this is a mined out land that um Wendalo or Jamalo mined years ago and guys history states that this water here, this water here, it was right here in 2005.
A lady came here with unound mind and and and she drowned. All right? Because she was on her way to Mandyville walking in the water and she drowned, you know, people and trust me, you know, really it's a sad story, but people right now as you can see, see the road here. See the road here, my people. And water was water was at least 6 to 7 ft up where you see this tree right here. See it there? Water was right up here. And it's about 7 or 8 ft.
So people know the amount of water that was here in 2005. But guys speedingly the water is coming up. All right. So as me say be careful while traveling on this road from man to comfort all or from comfort all to Mandville. Trust me people it's a great look but it still worries the people in the community of race course and comfort all. So guys from where I am standing going right to my right you go to Mandeville going left you go to Comfort Hall you go to Evergreen you go to Balaclava you go to Oxford you go to Lovia Magati and all of those places guys and the neighboring community to here the nearest community to here is comfort all then to my right you will find my gully all Right. Then you can go up to Christian and all of those places.
But people, a lot of people come here and fish. A lot of people on a day-to-day basis, my people. But trust me, the water looks very nice and tempting to go, but I am not going down there. I went down there the last time I did a video up here, but I cannot go down there right now because trust me people, it is so sad to say this, but this water here is very dangerous. It It is very dangerous. And guys, this water can be eating away the road surface underneath and nobody don't know. So, this calls for a major concern in the community here. So Greenhill is between mile gully and comfort all also evergreen. And guys there is a water that is in evergreen as well that from my knowledge these two water linked together running underground and guys the aquifiers are are are are to the brim are running over. So guys you will have water here and there. All right. But this water don't trouble comfort at all in terms of coming underground to what I heard. But it stems from evergreen coming down or this comes from or it stems from here to evergreen underground. So the people right now as me I tell you know it don't look good. All right. So we stick on ste people and watch what go on because trust me pretty soon no traffic or no vehicle cannot pass on this roads road here. One love Jamaica big up yourself. Fire reed big up yourself.
Countryside Ja my boss big up yourself.
Big up yourself my boss. Yeah man. Know thing going continue put out the good work. Yeah man. So people see the water there again.
See the water there again.
And the water goes a far far far away, guys.
So as me may send me people pretty soon traffic will lead to or through raceourse that is up in the hills right to where I'm pointing the camera. All right. And the road is not so good. So my people see me give a last look you know before save me can't give no overhead footage of the place. See it there. Yeah man. Most of the trees are dying guys. Most of them lay down.
Sick of being the monster out of my head under my bed. Think you're out of my s right there. But if I lay down silhouettes of you are like a ton. Never really notice what you want with you. I don't ever feel calm. I could feel the sweat inside my palms. Play with me like cats and the strings. You don't understand the pain it brings. You don't ever want to give me wings. You don't ever want to set me free. You know I'm addicted to you and it's twisted. You've been gifted with the evil voodoo. Got me coming back for more. Even when I've been screwed. Dolls full of pins. Pierce my heart straight through.
I got issues in my head. I like you in my bed, but you keep me on red. Oh, everything is like a test. I better not text or I'll come off desperate.
>> But if I lay down and I play dead and I stay dead, maybe you'll get sick of being the monster. Out of my head, under my bed, thinking something out of my stand right there. But if I lay down and I play dead and I stay dead, then will you get B again?
>> So if I play dead, will you regret everything that you did that you said? I don't think you understand what you're doing. And my heart's black and blue from the bruising. I feel like when I'm with you, I'm losing. I feel like you think that this amusing. Sitting there gaslighting and confusing. Was it me? Is it me? Am I deluded? I'm the one who's always sorry the conclusion. Even though I offer all of the solutions. I wish you love me like I love you. It's stupid.
When I'm alone with you, I never feel lucid. I wish I wasn't struck by Cupid.
I wish when I first saw you, I knew this. When I'm with you, I feel so useless. I feel diluted. My heart's been wounded.
Silhouettes of you are like a ton. Never really know just what you want with you.
I don't ever feel calm. I can feel the swe inside my palm. Play with me like a string. You don't understand the pain it brings. You don't ever want to give me wings. You don't ever want to set me free.
But if I lay down my bed, think something out of my mind right there. But if I lay down and I play dead and I stay dead, then you get killing me.
And you got to kill me.
And you got to kill me.
And you get me.
And you get what? I lay down and I play dead and I stay dead. Baby, you get sick of being the monster out of my head under my bed.
Think you're something out of my right?
But if I lay down and I play dead and I stay dead, then you get killing me.
