Military vehicles like the 110 model often use 24-volt electrical systems, which differ from standard 12-volt civilian vehicles; these systems may include specialized components such as radios, heaters, and starters that require specific voltage configurations, making direct conversion to 12-volt systems complex and requiring careful component replacement.

Looking for info on 110 MoD LHD wiring harnesses…Added:
I have a question for you guys, something that I know nothing about. I know nothing.
Um, 24-V military Land Rovers.
I have nothing to do with military stuff at all.
In Canada, it's like chickens' teeth to find.
Now, there are a number of military vehicles here in Canada that were bought from the army maneuver base thing in Suffield, Alberta.
British army used to play soldiers there, and anything that wasn't worth returning back to the UK was cast off, and, you know, sold at auction.
Anyway, the customer's got this gearbox and transfer box here, was on the phone to me the other day stating that he wanted a wiring harness for a 24-V 110.
I I have nothing 24-V, so you know, I don't even have a bulb.
So, I said, "Send me the VIN number, and I'll contact Autosparks."
Sent an email to Autosparks, got a reply, uh, and they said, "We might have a harness for a Wolf 110 24-V, an engine harness, but we know nothing about the rest."
But, he said, "If you send me the old harness, we can custom make a replica to suit."
Well, if you know Autosparks like I know Autosparks, they're not the cheapest in the world, and making a custom one is going to be very, very expensive.
So, I contacted the customer, and I says, "You know, send them the old harness, and they'll make a copy of one."
They threw it in the bin.
So, like I said, I have nothing to do with 24-V military trucks at all. So, my question to you is, um is the 110 principally 12-V with a 24-V system for the radios, like if fitted for radio type things, or is it a full 24-V system? I have no idea.
What about the heater blower and the starter?
I have I've never even seen one. I've nothing to do with them, really. So, it's just a bit of a question for you.
Because obviously, I could buy well, he could buy uh 110 regular harness for a 300 TDI and just fit that in. But, is there anything different on the dash?
I have no idea.
I know one of them is done.
They made a beautiful and I mean a beautiful job of making a customized wooden dash to to look like a Series 3, so they moved all the instruments, really fancy instruments, too, into like the center dash.
But, 110 Let me say 24-V here is very very very rare. The big trucks, the semi-trailers and stuff like that, are all on 12-V with a lot of batteries.
We don't do 24-V like the trucks in Europe. So, I don't know. I don't know. Can you Can you tell me about these military trucks?
Can we just simply just hook up a 12-V harness, do away with the big 24-V charging system and just put regular 12-V alternator, starter, heater motor, or other parts 12-V. I I have no idea.
So, if somebody can get back to me with a answer on that, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you, and see you later.
