Why Do People Think They Know My Memories Better Than Me?本站添加:
I think some people genuinely believe they know my memories better than I do, and it's honestly one of the most confusing social experiences [music] because I'll be telling a story about something that happened to me, and they'll interrupt with, "Are you sure that's what happened?" Like, yes, I'm sure. I was literally there, but then I start second-guessing [music] myself anyway because they sound so confident about correcting my own life, and I never know how to respond without sounding defensive. So, I just sit there feeling like I'm losing my mind while they confidently rewrite my own experiences. Sometimes I wonder if I remember anything correctly anymore.
