MrBeast's Employee Handbook is InsaneAdded:
Mr. Beast employee alleges she was harassed for years and fired. Oh my lord. Chris Tyson is back for revenge.
Uh oops, my mistake. It says here she was fired after maternity leave. I can't keep up with how many lawsuits and accusations of harassment and employee mistreatment and uh potential secret contestant torture chambers. I can't keep up with the allegations at the Mr. Beast Corporation. I think that this is perhaps what happens when a YouTuber tries to go beyond YouTube and enter into the prestigious world of becoming a billionaire banker handing out credit card loans to teens. You got to sexually harass your way to the top. But that's okay because you get to look at B uh in your net worth. I don't know why the [ __ ] you would want to do any of this, but let's have a look at these allegations and see how legit they are.
Mr. media company has been sued by a former employee over claims of sexual harassment and workplace gender bias.
What? You're telling me that a workplace full of Discord gooners might have problematic relationships with female employees uh and their sexuality? The 27year-old real name Jimmy Donaldson is the world's most followed YouTuber and employs more than 500 people. And only one of those people was allegedly a known sexual offender with a criminal record. Everyone gets so wrapped up in the Chris Tyson thing because of the gender [ __ ] But my favorite exe employee of Mr. Beast is this guy Delaware who was an anonymous guy who uh is a registered sex offender who was allegedly hired by people who knew that he was a registered sex offender and they just decided to put him in a balaclava and be like, "Ah, he's in my goofy guy who I will not reveal the identity of for reasons." Honestly, I think the whole faceless YouTuber to child predator pipeline is probably the strongest argument there is for AI. You know, sure, artificial intelligence might be destroying the drinking water for rural Americans, but uh a faceless channel run by a robot can't molest a child, so maybe it's for the better.
Anyway, sorry for the little detour about previous Mr. Beast allegations.
Let's have a look at some of the current ones or one of the current ones because I think there's quite a few that are floating around at the moment and we don't have all day. So, we're focusing on this nice lady. Lorraine Maver Lorraine Maver Lorraine Maver for [ __ ] sake. Lorraine Maverro Mattis, a former executive who worked for his company Beast Industries between 2022 and 2025.
Alleged harassment of women employees was condoned and complaints were not taken seriously at the business.
Obviously, this is all alleged, but it would not surprise me at all to find out that the biggest YouTube business in the world run by a notoriously autistic man who seemingly has a defective sex pest radar while also possessing a very powerful sex pest magnet. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that these allegations are true. Uh because I don't think that any YouTuber who runs his business via Discord knows what HR is. None of these people have held real jobs. None of them have existed in the real world. They went straight from their uh anime Goona Discord services into the public eye and all of a sudden were put in charge of 35year-old women and we're like what? We can't talk about [ __ ] in the workplace. This is [ __ ] Maver Maver Maveris [ __ ] Maver Mattis first joined the company as the head of Instagram before being promoted. In court documents, she claims she was sacked from her role after complaining about a workplace that suffered from a lack of basic employment protections.
Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't really call [ __ ] on that at all. It seems like Mr. Beast has been pretty forward about the type of employee that he wants working at Mr. Beast Industries. That's the Mr. Beast company. It's 100 million views a video or die. I mean, just looking at Mr. Beast's own handwritten production manual like how to succeed in Mr. Beast production. This was given to all employees written by Jimmy himself and it's kind of like a a mission statement, a manifesto of what the company is, how to work in it, and what they're actually looking for and trying to achieve. And it is just the most uh toxic workplace you could ever possibly describe. Like this guy is looking for workaholics that will uh work themselves to death for the sake of creating more YouTube slop at any cost. It starts off with some pretty reasonable stuff setting the tone of what YouTube actually is and the goal of the business. Your goal here is to make the best YouTube videos possible. That's the number one goal of this production company. Uh he also then, you know, says that traditional media is [ __ ] and that's not what we're trying to do here.
YouTube is the future. I believe it with every fiber of my body. it's going to keep growing year over year and in 5 years YouTube will be bigger than anyone will have ever imagined. Blah blah blah.
He was spot on about all of this. The amount of hours you work is irrelevant.
And then he goes on to say, "We don't care how many hours you work. We care about results." But that really is implying like, hey, if more hours get you more results, then you will be rewarded or punished accordingly. I only want A players. A players are obsessive, learn from mistakes, coachable intelligence, do not make excuses, believe in YouTube, see the value of this company. And he just goes on to list thing after thing after thing after thing, essentially heavily implying uh yeah, your life belongs to me. Your soul is now given over to the YouTube algorithm. We are here to post until we are dead. It really reminds me of like that Wolf of Wall Street uh finance bro culture of making money for money's sake, working yourself to death.
Whereas, I suppose the only difference would be where those finance bros are fueled by cocaine, these YouTube production companies, they're fueled by like Discord Nitro subscriptions and HRT.
>> I don't know why people are so surprised to see all of these sex scandals coming out of the Mr. beast company when this statement is directly in the employee manual. No does not mean no.
>> One of the things that sticks out in this employee manual which will become very relevant to these uh sexual harassment claims is this part here right at the very end. It's okay for the boys to be childish. If talent wants to draw a dick on the whiteboard in the video or something stupid, let them.
Assuming they know all the risks and aren't missing context on why it's not safe that I don't know. I I guess that that's his attempt at communicating the idea of consent.
Look, as a creator and a comedian that talks about controversial stuff all the time, I don't necessarily disagree with the instinct, but the way that he's communicated it is probably the poorest way you possibly could because this could be read by someone with poor intentions or poor impulse control as explicit permission to just talk about and joke about sex all day with female colleagues when you work in the I don't know the [ __ ] accounting department.
What he should have said is, "Yeah, if the boys on screen want to talk about inappropriate things, that's okay, but you know, when the cameras are rolling, we are a professional company here. We can't [ __ ] around like that because we have a HR department and I'm trying to be a billionaire." Although, at this point in today's culture, can you really be a billionaire without a few dozen accusations of child sexual assault? I don't know. It seems impossible. Now, we will get back to the article and the more specific allegations, but I want to take a quick look at Miss Ma Maver the the nice ladies video that she put out on Instagram announcing this lawsuit that she's filed against Jimmy Beast.
>> My name is Lorraine Maveratis. I was born and raised in Brazil.
>> For the last 10 years of my life, I dedicated it to studying and analyzing the social media space from the inside out. And that's what eventually led me to Mr. Beast. I was interviewed by the CEO and Jimmy Donaldson, Mr. Beast himself. I was hired on the spot. I led teams. I oversaw creative and operations across multiple platforms. But most importantly, I saw how things worked from the inside. From the very beginning, I was yelled at, cursed at. I was even called dumb in front of my entire team.
>> Obviously, it's not good that this has happened to this lady, but isn't that exactly what it looks like from the outside?
I mean, isn't that every single video is his him just like screaming at the top of his lungs to retention hack his way into the brain cells of 9year-olds and screaming at everyone on camera and and being like really weird when the commoners try to interact with him?
Like, isn't that exactly how it appears?
I don't know, maybe other people are seeing different things when they watch a Mr. Beast video, but I just see like sociopathic success at by any means type vibes from the whole company. Like after the 15th video of Jimmy paying a homeless person $200 to cry on command so that he can make $30,000 out of some scam mobile game ad, you really start to wonder, is this actually a good person or is this just a shell of a human that likes watching the number go up on their YouTube studio app?
>> I was even called dumb in front of my entire team after giving a business idea only to have a man give the exact same idea a minute later and get praised. Do you reckon Chris Tyson got that but like within a week of transitioning? You know, oh well, great idea, man. We love it.
The next day, they show up in an ill-fitting Kmart tank top. All of a sudden, everyone thinks their ideas are [ __ ] What happened? I thought my ideas were good last week. I was obligated to attend one-on-one meetings at the CEO's house by myself and an upstairs room only lit by a side lamp and have him hear how attractive and beautiful I was.
>> That's not good. Who's the CEO? Harvey Weinstein. I don't like that. Yeah. I don't know about one-on-one nighttime bedroom meetings with the lights off with the most beautiful seauite employee I've ever seen. I don't think that's a good look, man. Like like if you're going to employ an 11, you have to not be seen like you employed her because she's an 11. It's not beautiful people can have beautiful minds, but you got to you you really got to behave around them. Uh because otherwise it just looks like you have hired them just because of what they look like. And that's wrong.
And you shouldn't be having bedroom meetings with employees. That's weird.
>> The CEO also told me that Jimmy, Mr. beast gets really awkward around attractive women. And I quote, "Lorraine, let's say that when you're around and he needs to go to the restroom, he's not really using the restroom. I started changing completely how I dress."
>> Okay. Well, that's not good. I mean, look, it's one step down from doing the Louis CK in the hotel room, but it's still not a good look. Uh, now I don't know if Jimmy is actually using the bathroom to frequently jack off at the thought of this uh employee. Uh, but if he's not, it's still a disgusting thing for the other CEO to say. And Jimmy actually responded to this allegation with this. In response to Mr. Be's bathroom allegations, the spokesperson said, "This is a manufactured allegation created for the sole purpose of sparking headlines. It's also disgusting that the lawsuit is exploiting Jimmy's eye condition and Crohn's disease, two medical conditions he has been publicly open about in their attempt to secure a multi-million dollar payday. Uh, well, I would say that potentially that's not the best response and that's not even really what she's alleging. She didn't say that Jimmy was going to the bathroom to jack off. She said that someone else said that that's what he was doing because she's so beautiful. Now, that doesn't mean that Jimmy was sexually harassing her. I'm sure he was just actually using the bathroom because of his Crohn's. He's got poo poo pants.
What that means is that the CEO said something gross and sexual to her and that guy is not Jimmy, but they've responded to it as if she's accusing Jimmy of doing that. Which makes me think that that conversation actually did happen and they're just obfiscating and focusing on ah no, he just he just poos his pants a lot. He's got Crohn's.
So that guy couldn't possibly have sexually harassed you. I [ __ ] my pants.
Now, I would have just said, "Yeah, don't worry about that. He's very autistic. That's why he doesn't look people in the eyes." I mean, that's pretty obvious from every single video that the guy makes is uh eye contact is not really his thing. Um, I wouldn't have said, "Oh, yeah, he he's not going to the bathroom to poo a lot. He's going to jack off." That's that's yucky. And I'm inclined to believe it because it just I don't know after so many different allegations, accusations, verified and unverified about the work culture in this company, it starts to add up and it starts to follow the exact same pattern. You don't start these sorts of lawsuits without hard evidence, without a good reason because it's just such an expensive, malicious process.
Suing a billion dollar company, this can damage her career. uh permanently. It it could stop her from getting jobs in other companies like this. I don't know.
Obviously, it's all alleged, but it starts to follow a trend and a pattern that lines up with all of the other stuff that other people have said. You know, this guy hired industry professionals who are experienced with running multi-million dollar companies to come in and uh they were hired explicitly to fix operations and to fix what they were doing and to turn it from some guy's uh you know, hobby. that spun out of his bedroom into an actual professional uh billion-dollar corporation. So, these problems have already kind of been internally acknowledged and in the process of being sorted out. So, these types of allegations, I am inclined to believe them. Uh though I certainly don't think Jimmy himself was the one sexually harassing it. Seems like this other person allegedly was the one doing it.
Anyway, back to this.
>> I started only wearing baseball caps, extremely baggy clothes. But the thing is that when you're working in a male-dominated field, especially one that's being run by boys where they preach that if talent wants to draw a dick on the wall, let them. It doesn't matter how smart you are, it doesn't matter how hard you work. Giving your best will never be enough.
>> I'm going to be real. I don't know if this is inappropriate. I would not struggle looking into her eyes. This woman's eyes are mesmerizing, respectfully, in a platonic way. Wow. I mean, I'm not going into the bathroom to jack off about it. I'm just like appreciating the the beauty as a gentleman. But yeah, that's part one of the allegations, the uh sexual harassment stuff, which I think is the strongest part of at least what I've read about this and evidence that I've read that's being presented to the public. Uh this second half is kind of the more uh for some reason headlinew worthy and controversial and more shocking allegation that is definitely less bad. uh and also seems I don't know less substantiated than the uh other worse allegations. Uh and this allegation is that uh this woman was forced to work through her maternity leave. She says that she was on the phone working while she was in labor.
This is the part that Jimmy's company really takes umbrage with. This is the part that they really say is absolutely fabricated. and they have actually presented a fair bit of evidence that muddies this woman's story uh quite a bit. So, let's have a look at what she has to say and then we'll see what Mr. Beast has to say.
>> Things got worse when I became pregnant.
I had approved maternity leave signed off by HR and I had agreed that I would work up until my last day of pregnancy.
I said, "While I'm in labor on my way to the hospital, I will call you and that's when I want my maternity leave to start." On paper, it sounded beautiful, but in reality, it meant nothing.
>> America is [ __ ] crazy with their maternity leave. What do you mean you will work until the second you are giving birth? Like that. We don't do that [ __ ] in Australia. Maternity leave is maternity leave. Like we recognize, yeah, a woman who is 8 n months pregnant should not be in the office or on the tools. She should be at home getting ready to give birth and she should be off work for a few months after that because uh fused. That's disgusting. I might censor that.
What does she even mean? Like, oh yeah, I agreed to work until labor started.
Like, are you in a Zoom call until the second you start crowning? Like, like, what the [ __ ] does that mean?
What's going on with your work culture, America? Are you guys all right? I was at the hospital in labor in a team meeting.
>> Yeah. Yeah. No worries. I'm still working on that thumbnail for 10,000 homeless people versus one guy with AR-15. Uh I'm just a little bit delayed cuz I'm currently in labor.
Yeah. Yeah. I'll get it. I'll get it to you. I'll get it to you. Hang on. Hang on. I've got to push. I've got to push.
>> One week postpartum. Still healing. I was already back to work. Less than a month postpartum. going through postpartum depression and I had to hop on a plane, fly out of the country to work on a main channel shoot and leave my newborn baby behind. And after everything that I went through 2 weeks after coming back from what was supposed to be a maternity leave, I was let go.
And the reason was, and I quote, "You are too high of a caliber for this position. We need someone of a lower caliber." Now, have that make sense and let that sink in a little bit. That's the second part of the allegations. This woman says that despite agreeing to a great deal on paper, which apparently to Americans a great deal on paper is working up until the second your baby comes out. That's crazy, but whatever.
She was happy with that. But then she said that she was forced to work immediately after postpartum. I found this news piece that actually interviewed this woman and put to her uh some evidence that Mr. beast presented to the news organization that claims that she volunteered to get back to work so quickly after giving birth and that she was not actually forced. I think this is Mr. Beast's strongest rebuttal, but they pale in comparison to the much more uh sound and uh allegedly uh true sexual assault claims or sexual harassment claims. I should probably be clear about that. NBC News also reviewed a message in which Mahatis appears to express a willingness to go to Brazil, writing, "Despite being on maternity leave, I felt like it would be extremely valuable to go with you to make sure everything works out smoothly." Later asking, "Would there be a seat available on the jet for me?"
>> Yeah, that's not good. Uh that's uh that's not good. That's not a good look for this the Ma Maver for this Maverick lady. Uh, but also the first half of the allegations do seem to line up with what everybody else has alleged about working at Mr. Beast. So, I don't know. This is the thing. Uh, the second half of these allegations are seemingly if the Mr. Beast documents are legit, which you would think that they are, otherwise they would be sued into oblivion for faking them. Uh, the second half being seemingly provably [ __ ] just muddies and dirties. the first half of the allegation, which really is the only allegation that actually truly matters, right? Uh, in the scheme of things. So, I don't know. What do you think? Is this woman lying about everything now because maybe she misremembered the second half?
Let's see how she responds.
>> So, in my mind, I had to be there. I didn't have a choice. As my first question was, is there room for me on the jet that would make it more comfortable for me as postpartum? Um, I was told no, there was not room. So, I flew commercial and I went there to get the job done.
>> Yeah. I mean, if she volunteered to work during her maternity leave, they said no, there's no room for you on the jet.
And then she facilitated her own travel commercially to go and that sounds very voluntary to me. I don't think that she was pressured into doing that, but, you know, we'll see what Discovery brings.
Who knows? There could be this whole toxic work culture of people taking sick leave or maternity leave or mental health leave and getting punished by it or fired for it uh by seemingly uh legal means, but everyone knows the real reason why. Uh it could be a toxic work culture. Who knows? I think that the the the stronger half of this woman's allegations is certainly the sexual assault stuff. Um but yeah, I don't know. It seems it doesn't seem very forced to me. uh the post labor stuff of being forced to fly to Brazil on a private jet. You know, honestly, this stuff just makes me so glad to not want to do anything remotely like this. 500 employees. [ __ ] that. All right. I'm so glad I'm a comedian. I couldn't even be bothered traveling with musical instruments. I don't know how people in bands do it. I like showing up uh with no instruments. I like a nice 10-minute soundcheck. There are no employees with me. Uh, I don't sexually harass anybody.
Uh, and I'm not in Discord calls with minors. I just do my job. I tell my jokes and I go home. That's what I like to do. Uh, I don't want 500 employees to pull it off. Uh, because I just think that that either if you want that, you're an insane sociopath or evil or both. Uh, or you just have a hole inside you that only God can fill, but you try and fill it with with merchandise sales.
I don't know. I don't understand that.
It seems very stressful. And like Khloe is about to explain, unless you do it incredibly professionally, if you run a 500 person business like the average teenager runs their YouTube channel, you get into a lot of trouble.
>> This isn't the first time that Mr. Beast's companies have faced legal action. Right. Walk us through that, >> Ryan. That's right. In 2024, Mr. Beast was sued for his Amazon show Beast Game, saying that he created an unsafe environment. and that was a class action lawsuit filed by five of the former contestants. That suit is ongoing. Mr. Beast and his team denied all of those allegations. Um, and on GMA, he said that he's letting his lawyers handle that.
>> I would honestly have enjoyed the show way more if it was uh explicitly designed to be an unsafe environment. I would have I would have watched that for sure if Mr. Beast was up there just killing 500 people.
like Squid Games for real. I would enjoy that. I feel like Mr. Beast would have a lot more fun. I feel like it'd be a lot more honest. I mean, we I know that he we really wants to torture the poor and there's a market for that. I would watch it. I I wouldn't say that it's a good thing to do, but I would be entertained.
And what is Amazon if not torturing the poor for the benefit of the ungodly rich? That's the company. All right. We just don't they just don't televise it.
You know, I know that every time I buy $7 batteries and it arrives the same day, someone poor is paying for that with their body, right? That's why I'm not paying for it with my wallet. So, [ __ ] it. If if that's just the reality and we're okay with that, why not televise it? Let's get a few paws suffering for our entertainment. Huh?
>> As you can see though, I pressed her on those message exchanges about how it seemed like she was volunteering to go to Brazil. I pressed her on signing that FMLA handbook and she says she doesn't remember signing that. And again, Mr. Beast's team denying all of this and fighting that and fighting back.
>> Yeah. I mean, that's the that's the crux of it, isn't it? Is is it seems like that second half of the lawsuit might have been tacked on to the much stronger first half uh of the argument, but they may regret that because it seems like Mr. Beast company has just, you know, an open and shut case for the second half of the allegations where they just have evidence that that's complete [ __ ] She volunteered to go. She signed documents acknowledging her rights and even after she was told, "No, there's no room for you on the jet," she got an alternative mode of transport there. So, yeah, that's a shame uh because it's going to weaken the argument of the first half of the allegations, which if true should be uh certainly consequences, should be experienced for them. But we'll see. All right, that's it. That's the video. I'm back. I'm going to be posting a lot more. I've got no shows for the rest of the year, so we're locking in on YouTube, baby. I'm Louis Spears. Like, subscribe, and I'll talk to you soon. Bye. Oh, also, you should uh subscribe to the channel if you like what I do. Uh for every like and subscribe I get, uh a homeless person will pay. I'm trying to be the evil Mr. So, hit that button or whatever he says.
