51st LIVE DAY 253 manic Monday, Beat The Stroke #TEAMRODDYBO is live! #stroke #love #marriageAdded:
a little bit early tonight and tell them why, babe.
We decided to pop in and do a little early.
Go ahead, babe.
Why are we on early?
I want to surprise y'all. Yes, we're going to surprise you guys a little early, you guys. We're not going to probably be on too long tonight. Um, you know, we went to the neurologist today and this is a surprise popup live.
You guys, I just want you guys to always make sure you guys hit that notification bell because you guys will be notified when we are on live like this. And thank you so much for just Ellie. You are the first one in the house tonight. Hi Ellie.
>> Daniel Barers, hi. He says, "What's up everyone? Happy Monday." Yes. Miranda Collins, our moderator is here. Hey.
Hey family.
>> Oh my gosh. I'm so glad you guys are here early. Um we're so sorry.
>> Valent happy Mother's Day yesterday. The kids were all over and we had a great time.
It was it was movie day. We basically uh my daughter went and got some movie popcorn and we watched movies all day.
So it was nice. It was really nice. We had dinner and we just could not get online last night, you guys. So we apologizing again. Uh it was Mother's Day, so excuse me. I was enjoying our children. And so anyway, so today we're on early today because unfortunately we're going to have some guests coming through uh probably around the time when we usually go live. So we wanted to kind of get in there and let you guys know that we are here for you and we're not, you know, missing an action on purpose, but we are here. Yes, we are. And happy Mother's Day to you, too, Rhonda. Thank you so much. And just Ellie says, "It's okay, Queen. We all have busy days." I know, right? So, let me just since it's nothing really in the chat really that much right now, but I just want to say we finally saw a neurologist today and his appointment was great. Uh, he told us a little bit more about his stroke that he had and it was wonderful, great information. He was very thorough. He took his time. He didn't rush us out the office. But that transportation something is something else you guys.
But anyway, I'm talking really fast cuz I know he can't do it. But we are here to say hi and give you guys some love for a little bit, you know, and see how everything's going.
>> You you guys. But yes, >> so welcome you guys. I'm so glad you guys are here in the chat. It says I love April. That's what Raymond says.
Who's April? Who's that? Is that somebody you really love?
>> I'm into >> or you love April month.
Welcome. Anyway, hi. I know we're a little bit early tonight. We usually come on at six o'clock. That's our thing, what we usually do. But we're coming in a little bit early tonight because we have some guests that are going to be coming over later. Uh probably any minute now. That's what his doctor wants to do.
That's what we're going to do.
>> Well, don't say what Xray >> and then uh to take an X-ray. Well, the >> didn't say what was >> he said MRI.
>> They don't want an X-ray. He don't want an X-ray, but his uh remember we called in advance last week to talk to his regular doctor about that. And we ordered it ahead of time so we can try to get in there and get it rolling while we're waiting for this referral from the neurologist cuz we knew that was going to come anyway. But it's okay. That's going to probably be on time as well. We going to get them all done. We going to cover all square corners so we won't be having no hiccups. No more hiccups and get him into this rehab. Right. So right now May is not going to happen. He's not going to get in rehab. Uh, probably we're looking at June. Let's look at that if everything goes great.

It happens, right? It happens. It's not a problem. We'll call them back.
Jennifer Sanchez, hi. OH MY GOD. I KNOW, RIGHT? WE ARE ON EARLY.
Love from Scotland. God bless. That's Bobby the Barum. Bear man. Barman, >> how you doing? Bobby Bobby, what's up?
We love Scotland. Scotland's in the house, y'all. Yes. Hey, Juicew World.

>> I made that one.
>> He made that one. He said >> yes. That's his ringtone, everybody.
Everybody always Oh, that's a really cool ringtone. He's had it for years.
He's had it for many years, y'all. And then we have over here Crystal. Crystal TCO. And it says, >> "I hope he's doing really well.
Yes. Okay. And uh >> Hi, Jennifer Sanchez. Huh?
>> She my favorite hot sauce.
>> Oh, hot sauce. Crystal's famous hot sauce.
Watch your math.
Watch your math. Now, we have a grant.
>> It says, "Do you like a month to get ice cream?" Do you like a month to get ice cream? I can eat ice cream day and night. For real. I love ice cream.
>> I want ice cream.
>> You too. And we have uh Tino the First.
Hi, Tino the First. Is he okay? What happened?
>> Want to know what happened?
>> I am strong.
>> Roblox. Hi, Roblox for Life is in the house. Hey, God bless you. Yeah, he had a stroke. Okay. Uh Tino, he had a stroke back in August and he's here to talk about it. And here we go. Kristoff says, "That reminds me of Star Wars."
Excellent.
>> R2D2.
>> He said, "It is R2-D2." That's his ringtone, you guys. And he created that uh onto his phone. And it says, "Is he okay?" Yes, Kaye, he's here. He's talking.
>> I'm going.
>> Yes, he's here. He has the long road to go to walk again, but we're going to get him there. Okay. We had neurology. For those that popping in right now, he had his neurology appointment this morning and it went pretty well. Well, he has to get an MRI done and the doctor say he's going to make a decision after the MRI comes through. So, that's going to be a little bit you guys, but we got to wait.
We got to wait another week or so. We got the paperwork in hand to go, but we got to make the appointment for the MRI and get it done and get the results back and the doctor can't. So, I'm looking at June. We're looking at Juneish. Okay.
>> I'm thinking about letting that guy do surgery on me.
>> Oh, really? He think about letting that neurologist do surgery on him.
>> I like him.
>> Yeah, we were um talking about his other neurologist that he had and Rod wanted to get a second opinion. Uh the other neurology he had was back in 24 of October. I'm a crushed disc >> and his what? He has a crushed disc C3C4 in the back of the neck >> and >> and it's fragmented >> and it's fragmented and it's um actually >> sticking into my spinal cord >> and it's sticking into his spinal cord which causes him Let me pull you over here babe. He's getting away from me. um which is causing him to have like a lot of pain before the stroke >> and so he was in pain before the stroke actually happened. So he was having nerve issues in his fingertips, hands, feet, legs >> for years. Yeah. For a couple of years going on two years. Well, that's about three three years now.
>> Still two years.
>> Three years.
>> Yeah. But yeah, so >> going on >> the pain that he was feeling, he said it felt like electricity was going through his hands. Sometimes he would be asleep.
He'll wake up. HE GO, "AH, WHAT?" HE SAID, "FEL LIKE SOMEBODY took a sledgehammer and hit me on the foot."
I'm like, "Oh." And I told him, I said, "Dang, what you do to your old baby mama?
What' you do?"
He was like, "Nothing. I didn't do anything." But anyway, we were laughing about it, but you know, we tried to make it go through and uh we saw the doctor about that, but they were treated that he had neuropathy. He said neuropathy comes from diabetics that has them kind of nerve issues.
But it ended up being he begged and begged and begged for a whole body CAT scan. One day it was granted like months months later like eight months later and they found out he had a crush disc three and a crushed C4 as well. So which is fragmented and I said oh my god that's why he was having so much pain and taking the medication it never helped.
Right? That's what we were saying. If you guys are taking medication and it's not helping, dig a little deeper. Don't let it stop there because it ain't supposed to be chronic like that.
There's something wrong.
>> Find them one time.
>> Yes. Find out what's happening you guys.
That's why we here. We're trying to enlight you guys, educate you guys about your body. You guys know your bodies better than anybody else in the world.
>> Even better than doctors.
>> And better than the doctors sometimes, right? And sometimes doctors don't want to listen. Sometimes they don't care.
They think they know everything, right?
They do, but they still got to listen.
They got to listen. Thank you. Andre Woods over here. Rody Bins, what's up?
>> Andre, Patty, hi Patty. Gary, how are you?
>> Love you. Are you still in New York?
Nice to see you. We have them on Facebook, too, you guys. So, yes, you guys know your bodies better than anybody. If something is wrong, don't ignore it. If it doesn't go away, like in a week, go check it out. Don't let it go. Make sure you get it checked out.
Okay? And if they say, "Oh, you know, to give you some medication, it don't work."
>> And it don't work. What does that mean?
>> Contact them. Say that something's wrong.
>> Let them don't work.
>> Tell them it don't work. And you want to Yeah. You want answers now. You know what I mean? Push for more test.
>> Yes. Fight for yourself. You're your own advocate. You have to advocate your own body. You know your body better than anybody. Patty says, "I'm home." Okay.
Hi. Welcome back home.
>> I'm glad >> Andre Fade. Hey, he says doctor just want to prescribe meds. Okay, that's another thing. Okay, we gonna talk about that on another issue night. Okay, about that kind of stuff, y'all. Because that is crazy. Sometimes you hear about them rumors. Doctors get paid by giving you medications and some people say, "Oh, no. I do it naturally. I'd rather not be on that stuff. I don't want to take that stuff.
I'm not taking that stuff. I rather go do A B C D E F G whatever they do. They sometimes don't take that stuff.
>> And sometimes you do. That's why I said sometimes you have to take it. If it's helping you, but if it's not helping you, you got to do something else. Don't just sit there being miserable. And then Patty says over here, "That's cuz they got paid. They get paid." Yes, exactly, y'all. And that's really true. That is really true. Try not Wait, you guys ever hear those commercials on TV? uh whatever they are. I don't want to name them on here, but they talk about it all the time. They have some funny songs.
Hey, they little songs. They dancing.
>> They have side effects. If you guys really pay attention.
>> Yes. Yes, they do. And >> tell them, tell them.
>> So, they be having like the talking, right? And they saying, "Oh, yeah. Try let me try this. Hey, try let's try the queen of seifa. Queen of seifa. You will be feeling much better. And you be found if you have drainage from your lips and your nose and then they going to tell you something's going to come out your toes. They be saying stuff like that but in the deep background they'll be saying like may cause hemorrhoids, may cause backachches, may cause booty aches, may cause backs, spasms, heart attacks, diabetes, heart murmurss. They say that real low.
>> Bleeding eyes.
>> Huh?
>> Bleeding out your eyes.
>> Bleeding out your eyes. We heard one that said it's going to bleed out your eyes. We were like, they say it may cause blindness. And if the blindness occurs, make sure you call 911.
It may cause suicidal death, may cause death, may cause I be heard all kinds.
If you really pay attention to those commercials, you guys and sometimes it be fine print at the bottom, real tiny.
You got to look. Yeah. Experiment.
>> Yes. And on Facebook, C Patty Gity says, "Yep, she because they get paid." And then Andre says, "The fine print."
That's right. Check out the fine print of that medication, you guys. And if they want to give you medication like that as well, you have a right to do research right there in his office. Yes, you do. You go pick up that phone and look it up and say, "Hey, wait a minute.
This is cause bleeding in the eyes, may cause hemorrhoids, may cause backache, may cause me having birth, giving birth early, defects, heart defect, child defects, whatever. You have a right to say yes or no, you guys. Okay? Now, sometimes you don't have a choice. You have to have it. We get it. But if it's not better, got to go to group B.
>> I'm the way better.
>> Huh?
>> To the options.
>> Yeah, you have way other you have to pick what's better for you.
>> You got to pick out what's better for you. And we get it. You know what I'm saying? If you're diabetic, okay, most likely you do have to get on some pills or insulin, you know, to help you with your blood sugar, right? But there's ways to help you with your blood sugar.
But if you are working out constantly and you're trying your best and it's not working.
>> Secret mom.
>> Yeah. Tell everybody about the secret, baby. Tell them >> blood sugar can be cinnamon.
>> Yes. Blood sugar can be controlled by cinnamon intake. And our mailman was just telling us today there was another one called um something cinnamon. It's like sis citric cinnamon or something.
He said he's going to um actually give me a a bottle of whatever. But he said that kind of stuff he don't even take it. He's diabetic. Well, he's borderline diabetic, right?
>> Cinnamon.
>> But cinnamon does help with a lot of things like that. You can put in your oatmeal.
>> You can put in your uh oatmeal.
>> Put it in my coffee.
>> He said he used to put it in his coffee and uh you put cinnamon in everything else. Cinnamon. Cinnamon rolls or whatever. Cinnamon muffins. Cinnamon.
Cinnamon. Cinnamon. Yes. It's a good >> cinnamon roll. No, I said that. I said lots of extra cinnamon.
>> Anything with cinnamon straight cinnamon intake. Okay, you got they have cinnamon vitamins, cinnamon pills.
>> Somebody come.
>> And uh Patty Garity, she says, "What about anal leakage and death?" Right.
Right. May cause anal leakage liquid leakage and death. We've been hearing about all that stuff. You guys pay attention. Y'all pay attention.
>> Somebody said, "Uh, is it is he okay your dad is here?" Hold on a second.
Hold on, I guess.
>> Hold on, you guys.
>> Hello.
>> Hot weather.
Come on in and close the door, papa.
>> It's my brother-in-law, my father-in-law, y'all.
>> Huh? for an actor ride today.
>> It wasn't.
>> They was sending me.
>> We're on live.
>> Oh, we on live. Dad, come on over here.
Just say hi.
>> Come on over here. Say hi to our friends here. Ron's uh 4,000 uh subscriber fans.
We got on early cuz you were coming over.
>> Say hi, you guys. This is my beautiful father-in-law, >> and that's dad. He's coming by to say hi, y'all.
>> To him, >> thank y'all for coming. Big gun.
>> Oh, he trying to get off. Y'all look at that. They feel no hearts over here.
>> Boy, boy. Look, you guys, we're going to continue this conversation again. I promise you guys, we came in early, but we going to see you guys again soon. You hit Hey, if you guys don't know by now, hit that notification bell because you don't know when we're coming on, okay?
