[00:00:00]Right here we have Comet 46P/Wirtanen passing directly in front of the iconic Orion Nebula. What makes this so insane is the absolute contrast in time. The glowing blue streak is a comet from the Oort Cloud. It's basically a dirty cosmic ice cube left over from the birth of our solar system billions of years ago.

[00:00:24]But behind it, the massive pink cosmic cloud is the Orion Nebula, which is a giant baby star nursery only about 2 million years old.

[00:00:36]And so you're looking at a space relic older than Earth photo bombing a fresh batch of newborn stars.
