Food safety violations, such as contaminating food with bodily fluids, can result in criminal charges including felonies for distributing food with harmful substances, even when the contaminated food was not served to a customer; the 2026 McDonald's incident in Massachusetts where a manager was charged with distributing food with a harmful substance demonstrates that such violations are taken seriously by law enforcement and can lead to significant legal consequences.

McDonald’s Manager Does The UnthinkableAdded:
All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the channel again. Thank y'all so much for coming over. Uh, got this video here. It says, "Charges expected after video appears to show McDonald's worker contaminating fries."
Now look, I'll just say this and a lot of you probably know this happens more than you think. All right. Uh I remember McDonald's was one of my McDonald's was my third job I ever had.
I ain't saying I seen some stuff that went down, but people were fired. I'll just say that.
Uh especially, you know, I've been reacting to these videos from Lily about like what's being put in the food and all that type of stuff. You already got to deal with that. And then you go and have the people who work there do stuff like this. I don't know what was done, but it says contaminating. So, hey, we ain't gonna waste no more time. I cannot wait to see the comments after this. Let's jump right into it.
>> Uh, viral video is leading to charges uh at a Massachusetts McDonald's.
>> Yeah, an employee there is accused of contaminating food. WBC's Penny Kit live in Southbridge with some uh uncomfortable details. Penny, >> the video when you watch it is quite uncomfortable. And now the woman in the video >> did you see her face? The way she Oh, you know it's brutal. Look at Look at her the face she made.
Boy, >> Southridge with some uh uncomfortable details. Penny, >> look at her.
The video when you watch it is quite uncomfortable. And now the woman in the video were told by the South Bridge Police Department is facing charges, but they've been pretty tight- lipped and have not told us what those charges are.
The video stems from this Southbridge McDonald's. It went viral earlier this month. And it shows an impair female employee stuffing French fries into her mouth, then putting those French fries in a large red McDonald's fry cup. And then there is a second.
So again, if you never you know when you make them fries, they're normally normally they should be be be hot. And you know what I used to do is say no salt. So they had to make them fresh because a lot of times they'll put your fries in the thing where they're all, you know, they just been sitting out.
But she done took just just picture that y'all. You took some fries, stuffed them in your mouth, got them all wet, and now you're putting them like that's what I'm saying.
I I just don't know if people are some people are human anymore, man. I think we're just living amongst a bunch of just evil demons, man. That's what I think it is.
Like >> this month. And it shows an imper female employee stuffing French fries into her mouth, then putting those French fries in a large red McDonald's fry cup. And then there is a second apparent employee that can be seen holding the cup and laughing. The video now has tens of thousands of views. so many that the South Bridge Police Department says numerous people have been calling in and submitting online tips about the incident. The department also says they've been working with the board of health and restaurant management trying to determine if those French fries that were in her mouth were ultimately served to a customer.
>> So, let me get this straight.
So someone I'm thinking was this camera footage from uh the actual McDonald's? So the way it's is seeming is that someone had their cell phone out and recorded her doing this and they're laughing about it and then they go and post it. You see what I mean? how how mental and crazy people can be. People doing this stuff for likes and views.
You you like doing this thinking there's going to be no type of repercussions for this for you putting fries in your mouth then dumping it. Don't even Here's the thing. It don't even matter if you did that and decided like no, I'm not going to actually serve this to someone. It's just the assumption that people thinking that you did is what is ultimately going to get you in extreme trouble.
They could have did that and just threw the fries in a trash can. But no, no, no, no. This is insane, man.
>> Now, the owners of this McDonald's did put out a statement. They say they've been working with police and the health department and that the department found no health code violations inside of the McDonald's. The question now is what charges exactly will this woman be facing. We're told we'll have to await for her to appear in court before we learn more information. So, of course, we'll keep you posted. Live in South Bridge, I'm Penny Kit.
>> Let me look at some of the comments.
man.
And if if I work with the the health whatever, like I just got to shut the whole goddamn thing down. I'm closing that McDonald's.
I'm closing it because is this a situation where uh you know, of course they're going to get fired, right? But how how many employees are doing this?
You know, does management know? I don't even want to know the answer. I'm going just, you know what? Let's go ahead and just shut this one down. Y'all done mess it up for everybody. Now that all your your co-workers got to go find another job because of your stupidity.
Let me look. Let me look.
Could you imagine this?
going down.
Remember, well, actually it was remember the whole when everything was going on with CO how people were going in the grocery stores and it was going viral to for you to lick the ice cream. People were opening up ice cream and licking it and then putting the thing back on like and recording himself and posting it.
So think about the stuff we don't see.
Think about that.
Make it a felony. Purposely messing with people's food should be taken very seriously. Facts.
This happens more than the public knows and not only at McDonald's. Facts.
No. No wonder McDonald's CEO didn't want to eat his own his uh company's product.
Disgusting, but not surprising.
Another reason I cook at home.
Criminal charges immediately. Talk about uh decay of dis decency. That's what I'm saying, man. like things like this people need to because oh they were just joking or no no there's been too many examples of people joking around and getting in trouble for you to know that this is not okay you know and again this is what was recorded and what haven't we seen from this establishment showed the video and who the employee is a um I don't go to McDonald's anymore for reasons like this. Anyone contaminating food deserve a jail cell.
Uh that's sick.
Check the worker for diseases.
Stop eating McDonald's. McDonald's itself is a health code violation.
This is why I don't eat at fast food places.
And you know, you have a lot of people who uh are cooking out of their house and and whether it's meal prepping or it's it's 2026, y'all. It is 2026. You got to be extremely careful, especially things dealing with your health, man.
You don't know where these people mouths been and they're sitting up here putting fries and then putting it back in the thing. Like, just shut just shut the whole damn establishment down.
Stop eating there.
McDonald's should sue this employee.
Please charge this idiot. People are saying, "Where is the video? This is why I make my own food."
Contaminating food then displaying it on social media to laugh about it. That's disgusting behavior.
Yeah, man. I tampering with food should be a 20year felony.
I told you any anybody doing stuff like this, they you have to give them the maximum uh consequences because that's the only way it's going to stop. Too many people get slap a slap on the wrist and this stuff continues, man. Like like what it in your right mind thinks that this is okay.
I mean, bad enough. You got people who are working who are going to get fast food cuz it's supposed to be fast. They're just trying to people are just trying to go on their lunch break, you know, whether they should be going to McDonald's or not.
But people are just on their lunch break. Some people only get 30 minutes.
Some people may get an hour. But you're just trying to, you know, get on your lunch break and and here you are probably getting wet fries. Ah, please comment below. Let me sorry. Let me look at some newest comments first cuz I I just see this video and this from nine days ago. Let me see.
Everybody just saying why not show the video.
Wonder if there is one Let me see if I can find one.
>> Now know the criminal charge filed against the former McDonald's manager who was actually recorded putting French fries in her mouth before then serving them to a customer.
>> Now, we also learned that police believe she knew that customer. WBZ's Louisa Mohler is in South Bridge tonight with more on a very strange story. Louisa?
>> Yeah, we'll have to see how this plays out, Lisa and David. Technically, this is a felony charge, but it remains to be seen how a judge will handle this strange case of a woman who's accused of tainting fries meant for her ex. It's a video that's been making the rounds on social media. It appears to show a McDonald's employee shoving French fries in her mouth, another employee looking on laughing before those fries were served to a customer. And now, South Bridge police are not letting this alleged unsavory behavior go unanswered, charging 22-year-old Kaye Santos with distributing food with a harmful substance.
>> French friends today, right?
>> This video first popped up on a Southbridge community Facebook page earlier this month and garnered all sorts of outrage. Then police got involved with the incident, which allegedly happened at the South Bridge McDonald's. The police report stating that the video was originally posted to Santos's own Snapchat account. They interviewed the woman who received the fries, who told them she only ordered two soft drinks, but was handed a bag of fries, too. Police say that woman was Santos's ex-girlfriend, who told police Santos was mad because she's now dating someone else. And according to the report, the girlfriend said Santos begged her not to press charges.
We tried reaching out to the alleged victim.
>> Okay. All right. Sorry that this video going to seem a little little weird because of I just found this after I was trying to see like yo why didn't they post a video? I wouldn't why did they even blur out the other girl? So, she look like she's recording herself, not just a McDonald's employee, but a McDonald's manager. And what did I say earlier? I was like, I wonder if the manager knows about this. What takes place? Yeah, go ahead and shut that. I would just shut that whole damn McDonald's down. you. Not only that, did you see how she was licking those fries and then placing them in the red, but some of them was falling where the other fries were? You see what I mean? The like and then went and posted it on Snapchat.
And I don't have Snapchat, but I know that you can post it and only have it go to certain people.
So, I'm just wondering.
And you know, the girlfriend or ex-girlfriend probably still has her Snapchat, saved it, and was like, "Oh, see, stupidity. Stupidity." Let's see.
Let's see what people are saying on this video.
uh she don't want a job. She should never be hired in a food related position again. She's a manager. She knows better. I wouldn't I wouldn't even hire her for any other type of job cuz she probably going to find a way to do something there. You know, it's like, "Oh, oh, my ex my ex is in the drive-thru. Oh, she's in the drive-thru.
It says the news outlet failed to mentioned that the manager also spat in the fry cooker. Wow.
All right, y'all. That's all I got.
Appreciate y'all coming over. Please like, share, comment below, man.
