Exploring This ABANDONED Untouched 1994 Hillside Mansion Completely FROZEN In Time!本站添加:
What's up, YouTube? We're back with another episode of What the Hell Am I Doing Today. I've got a really fascinating place for you guys. It's a mansion that was built back in '94. It's been sitting abandoned now for a few months with its future completely unknown, but most likely to be torn down to make way for a new development. The place I'm talking about is this incredible beauty behind me here. It's about 6,000 square ft. It's located on a property that's 6 and 1/2 acres huge.
This is a big one. So, why don't we take a quick walk around the front here because it's so snowy and then we'll get inside and see what we can figure out about this place.
All right, guys. We're going to start today's adventure just outside the front of the house here on the front lawn.
We're going to take a very brief walk around out front here and then we'll work our way inside and we'll see what happened to this place. Like I just mentioned in the introduction, this place was built in 1994. has been sitting abandoned now for a few months with its future currently unknown, but most likely this place will be demolished to make way for something else new. It's located on land that's six and a half acres in size. Let me just give you an idea how large this is.
We're standing near the house, but as I pan down towards the road, you can see that's like 600 feet or so to the road.
And the yard behind this house is even larger. Now, today there's a lot of snow to deal with. We had about a foot and a half come down the last few days. So, it's pretty hard to walk around out here. And it's kind of a tricky neighborhood to show you guys this place from. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you the front here. Then, we'll work our way inside and I'll pop out from a couple places to give you guys an idea of what the backyard looks like. So, why don't we work our way a little closer to this one, give you guys a good look of what it looks like. It's an incredible home. Looks like a palace.
Just a beautiful mansion. It's about 6,000 square ft plus the basement. So that'd be almost 9 or 10,000 square feet if you include that. And you can see just from looking at this place, tons of windows on the face of this house. I mean, there's tons. You got got them up there on the balcony. You got every every bit of this wall has windows everywhere. So, I can already tell you guys without even seeing the inside, this place is going to have a lot of natural light passing through it. And it's probably going to be incredible for the views out front because obviously you have this very scenic looking winter day as a background. So, we'll work our way a little closer, show you guys the front door here. Very beautiful stuff. You see the gardens have been somewhat maintained as people were here recently.
But yeah, this is beautiful.
You have concrete railings and spindles.
Very high-end feature.
I can see there's basement windows, probably to the cold room or whatever's below the porch. I'm just taking you up here real quick. You can see the snow is really bad, so I really don't want to be out here for too long.
But just a beautiful front porch area.
Oh, they got a new tone intercom there.
That's fairly cool looking. I've never seen one like that. But yeah, you can see there's windows in every direction.
Got some beautiful 94 lights there. An awesome window above the double doors.
Really beautiful stuff.
Of course, those are the doors there with the windows on each side. Very symmetrical, but I love it. And of course, this is looking out at the gardens and down towards the road.
So, if we go back down these steps, you can see there's like steps that go down to the backyard, but I don't know how bad the walk is, so we're not going to deal with the snow today.
Got Ethan and Owen hiding over there.
The links will be in the description, and I'm going to try to walk in these steps that are already here so I don't get snow in my shoes. We'll just kind of go over this way.
Okay. And over here, we have a good look at the garage.
It's a triple car garage.
That's quite impressive. And you can see they have a little balcony or something up there. I don't know if it's accessible, but it's pretty cool. That's got the same railing.
Yeah, that's a really big garage.
Really impressive house. As you see, you look all the way over there and way out yonder, you can see the fence line there. So, that's what 6 and 12 acres looks like from the front, guys.
All right. Well, on that note, I don't think we should dillydally out here for too long. It's cold. Whoa, I almost fell. So, why don't we work away inside and see what we can figure out about this place.
All right, guys. We're going to start today's adventure just outside the front door of this incredible home. We're going to work our way around the first floor, then we'll check out upstairs and finish this one off in the basement.
Like I mentioned out front, this house was constructed back in 1994 and has now been sitting abandoned for a few months and waiting its demolition to be replaced with something much bigger and much more impressive by today's standards. Which is quite a shame because as you can see right away, this is an absolutely incredible home. And really all this place needs is a little bit of updating to get it brought up to time.
And this would be an incredible place to continue to live in. So, it's quite a shame to see a place like this sitting here waiting for its end when really there's so much left to give in this house. So, right away when you enter this home, you're greeted with this incredible front foyer area. Like I just showed you there, the stairs behind me are absolutely incredible. Just look at that. One of the most beautiful staircases I've ever seen. You're also going to see that this place has a lot of really cool chandeliers that have been left behind.
That one's pretty cool. But look at the one up here in the main part of the hallway here. Just absolutely beautiful.
Obviously, this is vintage by today's standards.
But it's really stunning stuff and hard to believe that it's all just sitting here waiting to be torn down.
I'll show you guys outside the front door real quick since it was snowy out there and we didn't get much of a chance to walk around. You can see it's an absolutely huge property. Like I mentioned out front, it was uh it's 6 and 1/2 acres, so it's a really large place. And you can see everything here is over the top. Just absolutely stunning.
You got beautiful lights. You got a beautiful light hanging here.
Just a really grand house. I think everything we see in this place is going to be considered grand. So, this is what it looks like entering the home from out front. You can see it's just a really grand entryway to the house. Just an incredible way to visit or or come home every day. And it's just really kind of hard to believe that this is sitting like this. So, why don't we work our way around the house? We'll go left first and then we'll kind of work our way around the other side. So, as soon as you enter the house, you're greeted with a a bathroom or a powder room, I should say. Look at that cabinet. That's really cool. Beautiful. I've never seen one like that before. I like the rounded corners and cupboards. I love the window doors.
Of course, they have a beautiful sink here and a nice granite countertop. And of course, the mirror here has got cabinets on each side and a sconce on each side, too. Really nice. I mean, I prefer painted wood, but when it's glossy like this, it's still pretty cool. Of course, they got very 90s looking knobs.
Everything about this place is pretty much stuck in time. Nothing has been changed since it was built, basically.
The toilet, it's dirty, but the brown bomber hasn't been here.
That's a really beautiful door.
Really nice knob on it, too. That is not standard hardware. This is definitely high-end stuff. Doors are stunning though. Love the varnish. It's really shiny and reflective. Beautiful stuff.
So, leaving the bathroom once again, you get an incredible view of the staircase.
And I'm going to have to feature this every time I leave a room that has a view of it because it's that stunning.
But that is actually one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in a place. So, from uh this point of the hallway here, we got another extension to the house. So, we'll go down here.
You see they got some modern lights hanging from here. Not a big surprise.
And over here you have like an office or a den. And again I complemented the windows outside my walkound. Tons of windows on the exterior wall here letting in tons of natural light. And if you guys watch this channel at all over the years, you know I'm a big fan of that. I think that's a beautiful feature. Of course, today is a really wintry looking day, so the scenery is set for an absolutely amazing explore.
It's just absolutely stunning, even though it's cold and crappy out. Again, you have a very similar light hanging from the ceiling in here as the one in the hallway and a couple of beautiful double doors going to the hallway. Just stunning again. And of course, they have amazing oak hardwood floors.
As you get out here, actually, look at that. I just noticed the baseboards in this house. They're pretty tall baseboards. They're about 6 or 7 in tall. Much different than you'd see in any home built after the ' 50s, really.
But again, that's a feature they had money for and obviously splurged on to really make this place as nice as possible.
And if you come out to the hallway here, you can have you can see they have some very typical tiling from the late 80s, early 90s. One thing I forgot to show you guys, actually, it's the incredible crown moldings that run around this floor.
Look at those.
Those are some of the most beautiful crown moldings I've ever seen. They run around the entire perimeter of the foyer. And I'm sure every room is going to have their own.
But before we get too far in, I wanted to make sure you guys see them.
Those are really amazing. Another amazing feature of the rounded walls here. You got a rounded wall or the rounded corner where the bathroom is. It looks like there's a closet or something over there. They have a nice rounded corner on that one, too. And that's a rare feature. And another really high-end feature. You know, they paid to have a lot to have.
So, as we continue down the hall this way, we're going to enter, I believe, what is a laundry room. And again, these doors are everywhere. Every single door is solid. They're heavy doors. They're beautiful. And yes, this is the uh the laundry room. And again, as you can see, looking at everything, you have cabinets that look like they're right from when they built the place. Never changed them. You got a very large laundry room sink.
And you have a uh washer and dryer here that have been left behind. These are probably maybe from the 90s, but it's possible they're a little bit newer, too. It's kind of hard to tell. A lot of the, you know, more generic or cheaper uh style that aren't top load or front load tend to look like they did in the 80s and '90s. They haven't changed too much over the time. Of course, this room also has a nice walk out to the front here. And I'll show you guys real quick if I can.
Yes, I can. So you come out here again, incredible walk out, you got the same garden there we could see from the front door, but as I pan around, just a massive private, secluded property. And of course, you got the garage doors right there. But yeah, this place feels extremely private and secluded even though it's part of a really big rich neighborhood. It's the advantage of having 6 and 12 acres. You're away from everything, even if you're surrounded by it.
So, let me just lock this door back up there. It's locked. Sorry, guys. Okay, so we'll go through this door here. And I assume this door it's going to take us out to the garage. And it does. And wow, what a huge garage. I mean, obviously we saw it was a threec car garage, which is already huge on its own, but when you're actually in here, you can see it's a roomy one. You could fit some very long vehicles. You could probably almost put a camper in here. It's so big. And what's really cool about this garage, you can see they have a railing here.
So, that means there's a nice basement walk out. I'll just show you guys that real quick.
And you can see that goes down to the basement there. Not too many houses have basement walkouts, so it's pretty unique feature really.
But yeah, this is an absolutely massive space. Comfortably park three large vehicles in here. There's room to do work. As you can see over here, they have a nice workbench.
You can see it says do not remove maintenance supplies.
And they got pegboard, which I'm a big fan of. Really good for organizing and having things set up. And they left their china cabinet behind, which is kind of funny or shocking, I guess, but they did leave that behind.
But yeah, what a massive garage. Really impressive. Really cool. I'll show you guys the view out the back door here since it's a snowy day and we didn't really do a proper walk around.
Just show you guys. I mean, look at this.
So private, surrounded by trees. It just feels like you're in the middle of nowhere.
Beautiful place, though. Beautiful property. I would say this is most people's dreams if they could afford it.
Okay, so back in we go. I almost slipped.
Bet you guys would have enjoyed that.
So, we'll work our way back into the house now. We're going to work our way around the other direction of the first floor. Now, you can see there's some assist handles here. And I noticed that on the stairs there was holes drilled.
Like maybe at one point there was a chairlift running through the house.
Obviously all that's been removed. So I can only assume that an elderly or disabled person lived here at one point and they needed some assistance getting around.
Take a look inside this closet. Again, the doors are amazing. Like they're just so thick. They're real wood. The handles, like I said, they're they're not generic. They're higherend stuff.
And that's a really big closet there to hang all your clothes and stuff when you come home from a hard day's work.
Just beautiful.
Okay, so working our way back into this place, we head towards the uh front foyer where we started the video again.
Once again, you got those incredible stairs and that incredible walk in there.
And immediately to my left here, you have what looks like a family room or something. It's kind of kind of hard to say, but to me, this looks like maybe a family room space, even though there's a light hanging in the middle of the room.
The reason I say that is that looks like a chandelier for a dining room, and the kitchen's right beside it. So, we're going to say this is like a family room or perhaps a living room space. And this is a nice big room. Again, this room has really incredible crown molding running around, too. Just look at the detail on that. Really amazing stuff. Of course, as I pan around, it runs through the whole room. You got another light that's very similar to the den in the hallway.
And of course, this room has a really large three-pane window looking out at that beautiful yard I just showed you guys.
They also have a walk out here to go out to the yard. So, a great little room.
As I back up, I'll show you. It's quite a large room.
I'm now pretty much against the back wall. You can see it's just huge. All the rooms in this house are very large.
It's not a house filled with a billion rooms. It's a house filled with a bunch of big rooms. Really impressive. Of course, there's the front door again.
Now, as we go this way, we're making our way into the dining room space. And again, you can see beautiful big windows looking out that yard. You get another incredible chandelier here.
Look at that.
Really cool. They left that behind.
Obviously, this wouldn't fit the taste of a new home. It's very vintage looking by today's standards. Of course, they have a beautiful French door going to the kitchen there, but this is just a really great space.
And you know, this room had a big dining room table. Maybe the china cabinet was in here. And this room was used for special dates like Christmas, family gatherings, celebrations, you know, all those kind of special dinners you would do in the dining room. And of course, this room also has a walk out to the front hallway and it gets a great view of that front door and a pretty interesting view of the staircase. Of course, if you look from here, you can see right up to the chandelier upstairs from here. So, that is really neat.
Again, it's fairly open concept in the foyer area.
You can see some of the crown molding is missing. Someone took that down. Not sure why, but now we're going to enter the kitchen. And yeah, this is a very stuck in time looking kitchen. Just look around here. The cabinetry looks very typical of the mid90s. You know, it's kind of like a pine cabinet. I'm not really sure what kind of wood it is, but it's got that white wash finish on instead of just a clear varnish, giving it just kind of a little bit of an opaque white effect.
Sorry. Yeah, translucent, not opaque.
Opaque you don't see through. But yeah, it's kind of just a slight white wash over the wood grain. And that to me is a very typical look of the '9s. But this kitchen is absolutely huge.
Really big. You got a nice breakfast nook over there. Of course, they have the island in the middle of the kitchen here that features the cooktop. And you can see like this is definitely higherend stuff. You can see the wood carvings on the side of the island there are very nice. You got some very nice corner trim there.
Very cool.
And this uh cooktop was never changed.
This is definitely original to when they built the place.
Very cool. Of course, you look this way, you've got a massive Sub-Zero fridge there, and you've got the microwave and the wall oven there. Of course, you got a pantry over there.
One thing they didn't do is change the countertops. These are still very 90s looking. They're uh faux stone or faux granite looking. So, it's a little surprising you don't see actual slate or or granite or some kind of countertop like that in a place like this. That's one thing you thought maybe over the years they would have changed. What do we have here? We got a calendar left.
This calendar says 2025.
Yeah, it's a beautiful kitchen.
You see they have a nice piece on the ceiling here where they would have had the the exhaust for the oven there that would have sucked out there and they got some pot lights in there. Interestingly, even though it's got very nice woodwork, looks like they never finished it. Like you can still see the putty where the nails are and you know they never even really sanded it or varnished it. So that's kind of strange.
Very strange really.
So here the power's on. So the fridge is still running.
And you can see it's very clean.
There's going to be no stink. There's going to be no mold. There's going to be nothing gross in here. So, for all you viewers that enjoy me choking on these things, you're not going to get a chance to see that today. There'll be no sights and smells from this fridge. Just beauty.
And this fridge, I believe, has a serial number or a date on it somewhere.
I'm not sure where it is. I don't see it. So, we're not going to look around for it. But I know this house was built mid to late 1994.
You come over here and you got a beautiful glass doors on these cabinets here. They got the iron glass in them.
Very nice.
Of course, you can see one of the uh glass panes is sitting here. And this is actually real. It's not plastic.
But again, everything in this place is going to be empty for the most part. So, we won't really dig because there's nothing really to see in these cupboards.
You can see they're the slowclo quiet covers. So, yeah, that's very fancy for the era this came from. And that microwave probably is a little newer than this Gen Air wall oven here. How clean is it? Wow, it's spotless. You know, some of my viewers are really going to appreciate this. I think Karen is one of the clean freaks that always watches and comments on how hard things are to clean. She's going to appreciate how clean this oven is considering that it's like 32 years old almost.
Yeah, this is a really beautiful kitchen. Really spacious, wide open kitchen. If I had one complaint about this place so far, it's the color scheme. Everything is very white. But again, that'd be very typical of when they built this place.
So, where the kitchen table was, they have a beautiful stained glass light here that is just absolutely amazing.
Really beautiful stuff.
Wow. And as I back up here, the kitchen table would have been right here. So, this is where you would have had your daily family meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everybody would gather here. And like I said, the other room over there through that door would have been the dining room for the more special occasions.
Now, this kitchen also has a ton of natural light coming in. You have three windows on the back side of the house looking out at that huge backyard that just seems to go on forever. But not only that, they have a beautiful walk out here. And I'll just show you guys the deck real quick if I can.
I can. So, you can see the snow is very deep here, which is why we didn't really get around too much today. But again, look at this deck. The railing is all concrete, even the spindles. Again, that's that's not cheap, especially in 1994. They definitely had all the money in the world for every upgrade they can imagine. You can see they have the intercom right there. There's intercoms throughout the house, I guess.
And just a beautiful, beautiful deck.
Like, that's an amazing hangout space.
And yeah, there's the main intercom there. We didn't acknowledge that yet, but over here they have like a little stationary area. You could have had a little chair here. And this would have been like for your daily mail and whatever.
Nothing too crazy. But look at that.
That's very similar to the intercom I grew up with in the 80s and 90s, except this one is a beige color, not the fake wood grain, but very It's exactly the same. Everything's the same. So, that's pretty cool. And that was pretty standard by the time this house was built. And of course, they have the fire extinguisher in the kitchen, which is always a smart thing to do. I'll just show you guys the kitchen from this perspective here. Like I said, it's a huge kitchen. That light really ties it together. Like, this would have been just a beautiful place to cook and enjoy meals. Just a wonderful large kitchen.
So, going this way, you know, this is probably what I would call the family room. So, I would probably say the other room on the other side of the house was like a living room. This is the family room. And the reason I say that, you got the fireplace here. Looks like it's never been used.
Really interesting color bricks for the masonry.
They got a beautiful mantle and seat there. And you can see it's a real fireplace cuz they have flu control right there. So, this one could have actually been used. Maybe they had an insert in here at one point or something like that. Or maybe it was just never used and it was here for looks.
But a beautiful room.
Again, lots of windows.
Tons of natural light making its way in.
And not only from that side, but you also have tons of natural light working its way in from all the kitchen windows.
Again, the concept of this house is beautiful. And this room has very similar crown moldings to the dining room. And even more similarly, you got a missing section there. I don't know why they have missing sections, but they're gone.
Of course, the room has a bit of a jousts out a little bit this way, just a tiny bit, like 5 6 ft. So, there's a little bit of an extension to the room.
And they even have a window there. Of course, they have the massive front-facing windows. And you have the window here that's on the side of the front porch. Just amazing stuff. It's it's an absolutely beautiful, beautiful room. You could you could imagine this place set up with couches, you know, leather couches, tables. There's probably a Persian rug on the floor here. And it just seems like a really cozy, comfortable room to have nice gatherings with your family or whoever is going to be coming over. Just really beautiful stuff. And of course, now going through this door, we get back out to the front foyer area. And again, just an incredible view of the stairs. Really beautiful stuff looking up to the chandelier up there.
Absolutely amazing.
>> Such a unique place. So over here again, like like I point out, they have rounded uh corners on the walls, which is a really unique feature. Really nice feature. And they even did the baseboards really nicely going around that.
Oh, look at that. They got a mirror there on the wall there. So what this is is a walk-in closet. And this walk-in closet even has a nice window looking out the front porch. I mean, no one would ever really enjoy the view, but it's still cool.
You can see they left their central vac behind. And yeah, this is a very basic closet. You have a couple shelves and a couple long hanging poles, and that's about it. But I guess the mirror is immediately outside the closet because, you know, you're getting dressed up and ready to go and you got to get one last look at yourself before you go on your journey for the day.
All right. Well, that's the first floor.
Why don't we work our way up these beautiful stairs and we'll check out the rest of this house. So, like I mentioned, I noticed there was some holes in the stairs and you can see there they go all the way up every other step. There was a chairlift of at one point on these stairs, probably for an elderly or disabled person.
Of course, that's been removed. I'm not sure how long ago they lived here and if someone else lived here after.
But as you see, you get up these stairs and the second floor landing is absolutely stunning, too. And again, you get a beautiful view. That chandelier, you can really get a good look at it now. Just amazing. Of course, the medallion on the ceiling is quite cool, too.
But the stairs are beautiful.
And just look at the shape of them as you look down. Like, that's just unbelievable.
All the way to the basement.
So, this is a really impressive space up here. Not only is it lit up with the windows and the double doors, but you can see they have a beautiful walk out up here. And again, just like the uh the deck that we saw out back there, it's got a concrete uh concrete railing and fencing or whatever you want to call it so you don't fall over. Very expensive stuff. And I can see the windows and the design of up here follows the same kind of pattern as downstairs. cuz they're probably going to be in similar places.
But yeah, that is amazing. So, we'll check this room on our right here first since we're already over here. And right away, I presume this is the master bedroom. And you can see it's shaped very similar to similarly to the bedroom that's bel or the uh family room that's below us. Almost the same design. Of course, you got a door there and a door over there. You got a couple lights hanging in the middle of the ceiling.
But one of the great features of this room obviously is the fact that it has so much natural light coming in from all the different angles. This also gives us a good look at the walk out here.
Look at that. Just imagine hanging out there every night before going to bed having a cigar or a drink. Like just beautiful.
Yeah, this is a very beautiful room.
Again, the color scheme throughout the entire house is very plain, but you have beautiful oak wood floors throughout the home. The baseboards up here, very similar to downstairs. They might be slightly shorter. And one thing I noticed is no crown moldings except for the hallway.
But what a what a beautiful room. So, we'll work our way over here and we have a bathroom. A nice on suite bathroom.
And this is super incredible.
It's stuck in time. Like this is very ' 90s looking. Look at those floor tiles.
Like the texture of them. If you can see it. Very 90s by by choice. And look at this tub.
Beautiful tub. It's got a beautiful step into it. One thing I'm noticing though is it is not a Jacuzzi tub, which is a little surprising, but the hardware is quite fancy. I bet you that cost them a few bucks when they built this place. As you look around, they have the uh brass tile that's like a border.
Of course, they have a uh intercom in the bathroom, which is kind of unusual.
You don't see that very often. Usually, a room will have one. I'm sure if I pop back out here. Yeah, there's one by the door. So, to see one in the bathroom, that's just overkill. But again, that's showing you how much money the people that built this place had. Of course, not only do they have the toilet, got a beautiful uh bedet there with awesome hardware on it. Of course, we got to know.
toilet is just moldy and gross, but the brown bomber hasn't been here. You can see they left the toilet paper behind.
But look at the vanity.
You got the very old school countertop with the sinks in it. Sea shell sinks built right in. You got fancy faucets on both sinks, the Jack and Jill sinks. You have brass knobs.
And those are beautiful cupboards.
Beautiful. Look at the way the doors open. They're just smooth. Very nice.
But again, everything's empty. We're not going to find anything in this place, unfortunately. So, there'll be no surprises.
You got a very vintage looking like 80s or '9s brass light up there. But it's just a massive mirror in here. I mean, yes, it's a Jack and Jill sink, but everything is very spread out. So, the mirror just looks huge. But it's a beautiful bathroom.
Oh, and I didn't even notice, but hidden in the corner here behind the door, you got a shower.
The shower is actually pretty modest in size. It's not huge. It's a little claustrophobic.
It's got nice hardware and bit of a basic shower head, but one of the cool things I always point out is it's got a shower light. And again, that's a high-end feature and not surprising for a high-end house.
Of course, this is the view of the room.
When you come out of the washroom, you get a nice view of the windows and the scenery.
Lots of natural light, like I love to point out.
And over here they have a closet, I presume. Yep. Oh, wow. It's a walk-in.
They still have cupboards in here or dressers or whatever you want to call these. I'm sure they're empty.
That's nice wood. Well, it's got a pretty cool finish to it. Yeah, they even have a mirror mounted in here. Now, you can see the actual closet itself is very rudimentary. I mean, yes, they have cover cubbies and hanging space and everything, but it looks like it's just MDF and very basic after that, but the design and the setup of it is very cool.
And of course, they have a massive window. Once again, looking at the beautiful yard here. And windows and closets really blow me away, especially when they're like this one. This this this closet here could could be a little larger and be a kid's bedroom. That's how big this closet is. Really amazing.
All right, so we'll work our way back out into the hallway.
Prepare yourself for another view of this incredible staircase. Look at that banister.
Wow.
I'll show you guys a look down.
That's a look down to the basement. And of course, you got the chandelier again.
Yeah, they got the same crown molding running through this hallway that they did downstairs directly below.
Just beautiful stuff.
So, over here we got a bedroom, I presume. Let's check this one out.
Oh, this is a huge room. Oh, this room's got two entry points. That's cool. Yeah, I presume this is a bedroom. It's a very large room. You can see they even had a blackboard up here. So, maybe this was like a kids' room. Or maybe they use this as like a learning and play area.
You never know. You guys give me an idea what you think this was in your uh in the comments down there. But it was either a bedroom or like a spare space the kids played and maybe did activities in. You can see it's a very spacious room. Again, it's got two beautiful windows looking out taking in that amazing backyard. The beauty of that backyard is I just love it. I love how there's trees here. Like yes, you can see houses through those trees, but it almost looks like a forest running up the hill. It's just really amazing stuff.
Of course, this room has a big double closet.
You see what's in there. Again, every room has the beautiful hardware. These handles are not cheap. And this is a very big closet.
Goes very deep. It's not I mean, it you don't walk in very far, but it extends left and right quite quite a lot. That's quite nice.
And of course, if I go over here and exit through this door, this is going to take us out on the other side of the stairs. Now, that's exactly what it does. This is where we are now. So, we're now on the other side of the upstairs.
And right beside this room, you got another door here. So, let's open this and see what's in here.
And this would be the linen closet.
It's kind of a wasted part of the hallway, but what they did is convert it into a decentiz closet. You can see it's an oddly shaped closet, but it works.
So, from here, we got to extend down this way now. And we have a couple more rooms at least. So, we'll check them out. So, we have a bedroom here that looks very similar to the master. It's just a smaller version of it. Very similar design.
It's a big space, but not quite as big.
Again, you got beautiful windows. Look that that walk out. Is this a walk out here? No, it's just a little railing going around the outside of the window.
It's like a Juliet type balcony with no way getting out there. But you can see it's a big room.
Lots of natural light coming in. Once again, this room could be beautifully decorated. It's not tight. Tons of space. Just absolutely amazing.
And of course over here you got the little extension and you get to see the balcony from both sides.
Of course, you got the big windows on the face of the house looking out towards the road. And if I go over here, you get a nice view of the actual walk out from the center of the hallway. Just amazing. Just amazing. I wish we could go out there today, but it's too much snow.
And unfortunately, I don't think it's a good idea. So, but you guys get a good look of it from the window. So, I hope you guys are cool with that. So, this is another closet very similar to the one we just saw, except this one has a shoe rack at the bottom.
Very basic closet, but set up to hold, you know, enough stuff for a kid at least.
So, we'll leave this room. And I can see there's a bathroom in front of us. We're going to check that last. So, at the end of the hallway here, we have another room, another kids room, I presume. And this is one of the smaller rooms up here. This is probably the closest room to a normal house type of room, which says a lot about the uh the grandness of this house. Of course, you can see all the lights in this house. Very similar, similar style, similar theme, similar era. This room also has a beautiful big window with a view of this incredible backyard. Just an amazing space.
It looks like this house was built on a conservation land. Like, it's just incredible.
And as I turn around, very basic room.
Got a closet here. And that's really about it.
And this closet here is much more basic.
No foot storage or shoe storage, just some hanging space, some shelf space.
Very basic. But again, the floors in this house, I I I haven't pointed them out enough, but the hardwood floors are absolutely pristine, and they're beautiful. Every house should look like this.
So, over here is the last room of upstairs.
It's another incredible bathroom. It's very similar to the one in the master, the on suite of the master, just a different tile choice really.
Again, you have the step up uh tub here.
This one also has nice hardware. Not quite as nice as the master, but strangely again, no Jacuzzi. And usually when you see a step up like this, it would make sense to have a Jacuzzi because you can put the motors and have access to them under there. But in this case, they did not. And you can see they have an interesting tile border here.
Different than the other one, but same idea in in terms of design.
Of course, they have a massive window looking out the yard. Once again, looks like somebody took the bedet from this bathroom. There was definitely one here at some point. It's gone, but they obviously left the toilet. And this toilet's clean, too. So, it looks like the Brown Bomber never found this place cuz none of his business has been left behind.
But yeah, this another beautiful bathroom.
Very similar cabinetry to the one we were just looking at. So, I'm not going to check this one. But you can see the cabinets are exactly the same. the shape of them, the knobs have a very similar countertop with the sea shell sinks, similar hardware.
You look up, it's got the exact same vanity light, and of course, because it's a Jack and Jill and it's really huge, they've got this incredibly large mirror. And believe me, the mirror seems really big, even if it's just a couple feet longer than normal.
Shower is very similar as well. Really, the only difference is the door is not frosted like the one in the other room.
But if I look in here, you got a light.
Very basic shower head and maybe just a little impressive, less impressive hardware. But still, overall, this is a very impressive room. Very beautiful room. And by the '90s standards, this would have been like, you know, a room for like a king and queen to use. Just absolutely amazing.
All right, so that's going to wrap up upstairs. So, why don't we work our way down to the basement? We'll wrap this one up. Give you guys a nice view of the stairs going down so you can enjoy the beauty of them. Just incredible.
Really beautiful stuff. Of course, as you come down here, incredible view of the front door.
Really amazing.
So, we'll work our way down from here.
From the looks of the stairs, there was no chair lift to the basement.
And as you get down here, you can see the floor and the landing here. It's all marble.
Very typical marble you would have seen in the 80s or '9s.
Obviously, this was very expensive. And for a basement to have this kind of flooring is quite crazy.
But you can see it looks like they never really finished the basement, >> which is quite unusual because you can see they put some very nice trim around the openings.
Like I showed you, they have the nice flooring, but you can see the drywall is just puttied and sanded. They never painted.
They never really finished doing whatever they dreamed of doing down here. So, as we get to the this corner of the basement, you can see this room's kind of like it's like a another hangout space. It's like a wreck room or another family room type of area. And this would have been a beautiful room if they finished it. It's unfortunate they didn't. They didn't even tape the walls.
So, this room kind of is just left as it was. You can see they had the curtains up there for a long time. They have the ties to pull the curtains back.
Come over here and they have a wood burning fireplace down here. Oh, look at that. It's got like a stainless steel covering on it. That's cool. But you can see they actually use this one. And this one obviously shares the same chimney as the one directly above it in the family room. So, they I guess they just never used that one before. But this one, you can clearly see, was used for fires. So maybe they tried to renovate this room over the years and didn't finish it. Or maybe this room was always like this and people still hung out down here. Maybe it was just like a games room.
You can see this room also has two large windows.
Looking out at it, the beautiful backyard.
Just an incredible view looking out there no matter where you look.
You work your way over here. There's the other window.
And you can see they have a little patio space.
Lots of cinder block here, which is kind of unusual in the '9s, but a house this size maybe needed that little bit of extra support. So, there's cinder block down here.
Go over here. What is this?
Test. I don't know if that's an alarm. I don't know what that is. Maybe it's a smoke alarm. I don't know what that is.
You guys tell me in the comments what what is that.
So, here they have sliding doors that take you or at least once took you outside.
We'll open it up and we'll see what's here now.
Oh, yeah. Look at this. They got a sun room. Oh, this is beautiful. Yeah. So, at one point these doors definitely took you outside. You got the outside light there. That's some really cool pointing above the sliding doors.
Look at this stuff. They got a nice little wood burning stove here. And you can see this thing was definitely enjoyed over the years.
And that's just ported through the wall to outside. But look at this beautiful closed-in space. All windows.
Definitely a sun room. Maybe you could have used it like a greenhouse.
Got a nice And I mean, this sliding door is really nice. It's extra wide. It's a beautiful sliding door going out to the yard. I'll just open this door up real quick.
Show you. You can come out here to the patio.
Wow. They even glass that in to kind of give it some shelter from the wind and everything. But yeah, you can see this is a great space here. You would had your deck furniture out and this would have been just a great little hangout spot. You could chill every day or during the summer. And of course over there you got the stairs going up to the deck.
But yeah, here's a good look at the yard. It's I mean it's really snowy, so we didn't really walk this place today.
I just kind of showed you guys the front and told you I'd show you the rest as I could. And this is what I'm going to do.
I mean, it's all uphill and the snow's very deep, so it won't be very exciting to go back there anyways, but you guys get a gist of how beautiful this property is. Of course, I'll pop out over here again. You can just see.
Beautiful. Beautiful. So secluded, so quiet, so away from it all. Who wouldn't love this?
Okay, so we're going to work our way back in. I really love this room, by the way. This room is really cool.
And this room is actually below the deck that you can walk out to from the kitchen.
Just pointing that out for you guys so you know the layout. So, as we get back in, just close this door behind me and lock it again. We're going to work our way to the other part of the basement.
get into the bowels of this one. Before we do, let's see what this door does.
Oh, it's a cold room.
It's a huge cold room. So, this cold room is under the front porch.
And you can see this room is in kind of rough shape.
All the plaster is kind of falling down.
You can see it's all piled up in the corner there. But again, it's a really unique shape following the shape of the front porch.
And this definitely would have been like a uh cold room.
Maybe a I don't know what else. I mean, there's a water outlet there. See some hooks for a hanging. I mean, they could have had lights in here that grow with if they wanted, but I don't think that was the purpose of this room.
Of course, you can see those shelves are getting moldy.
So, it's a little gross in here. It's definitely a cold room for sure. I'm not sure why it has water. That's unusual for a cold room. And of course, if I come out here, okay, this takes us back out to the basement, the landing area.
So, we've already kind of explored to this point now. So, we're back out here.
I see that they had an outlet there. I guess that was part of the planning of the house and when they started to finish it, they just kind of left it hooked up. But that's kind of strange to see. Not sure why it's in the middle of the floor.
As I turn around here, we got a door here. And it's a bathroom.
And it's really strange seeing this. I mean, you have the beautiful flooring.
You have the nice counter and cabinetry there. Like, this is fairly nice. Very standard like the rest of the house. You know, the sink is built into the counter. Once again, they obviously had a mirror hanging there at some point. And of course, they have their little vandy light and a little storage cabinet there. But it's just strange. You look around. They never finished this.
They got a medicine cabinet here. Oh, no. It's just a mirror, but it's not finished.
Of course, we got to check that toilet's full of something. Golden goddess was here. You see they left their Kleenex and toilet paper behind. And the shower is just roughed in.
Never finished. And you can see the date on this uh I forget what they call the drywall for showers, but you can see it's 71294. July 12th 94 this stuff was made. So yeah, this place was built the second half or finished in the second half of '94. They roughed in the basement shower. They even got the light up there, but they roughed it in and never finished it. That kind of seems to be the theme of this basement. It's not finished. Again, beautiful view of the stairs are absolutely beautiful throughout the home. Of course, as you look up, that's the view.
Just amazing.
Really impressive.
So, from here, we got basically two directions left. I can see these join together. So, we'll check this room first.
This room here is the furnace room. And wow, look at that. It's a fairly modern looking furnace to me, although it's probably a 94 furnace. You can see it's quite rusty, so I don't think they've changed it over the years. Just looks kind of modern to me. The water heater is definitely modern.
That's from 2016.
You can see everything's still running.
Yes, this place is going to be torn down and it's been empty for months, but power and the heat is still on for now.
But yeah, there's not much to see in here. Typical laundry room. You got the water there from the city. And that's really about it. Nice clothes rack here.
And they're hanging they're hanging this in here to dry clothes with the furnace heat and the dryness of the room. It's a little hack. I do the same thing in my house. And it really dries things quickly overnight.
So from here we got another space.
And who knows what this could have been.
I think this room is just a could have been room. It was never finished. never really had a plan. You see they have cinder block walls running throughout the basement here. So part of those definitely is to help support the floors upstairs, I think, cuz center block definitely wasn't as common when this house was built. You can see nothing really was going on here. Drywall is not taped, just kind of bare bones, barely finished. You know, you have the heat there totally exterior from the wall and that's about it. I presume this will take us up to the garage.
Yes, it does. Whoa, look at that.
So, yeah, those stairs take us up to the garage where we already were earlier.
So, now we'll go this way, see what uh the rest of the basement looks like.
So, this takes us back to the kind of the main hall of the basement. And if I just show you that goes to the stairs there. And we still have this direction to go. Here we got another unfinished room here.
Very typical of what we just saw behind us. They put an intercom here. Look at that. They mounted it with 2x4s to the wall. They made a little box and put it in it. So I guess that's how this place has been since the '9s. I presume this basement now has, you know, now that I've seen more of it, the basement just never got finished. drywall went up.
They did some taping in some areas and that was it. Cuz I mean that thing is definitely original to when they built the place and it's mounted like that. So I guess that's just where they left it.
And over here you have some house stuff. You know, you got wood finish and all these different types of things that probably were used on the uh trim and whatnot throughout the home.
Got an extra grill for the Subzero in the kitchen there. And you got all your plumbing pipes and everything. But that's all there really is in this room.
So, let's go down this hallway. See what's over here.
As we go over here, there's not a whole hell of a lot. You got some plywood.
You've got the alarm panel.
You got the circuit breaker there, which is standard for a house. It's nothing commercial like some of the mansions we've done.
And you've got pretty much, you know, the same half finishedish or unfinished basement that we've seen so far. And of course, this door here takes us to another cold room space.
This one's a lot less uh decayed than the other one. I mean, you can see like mineral build up on the walls and everything. Look at the effort they did with the cinder block to round the corner, though. Instead of just squaring it off below the porch or whatever this is below, they actually put in the effort to round it. They did a good job.
But yeah, this is just like an extra cold room. Looks like they never used it. And that, my friends, is all there is to this one. That wraps her up.
Pretty impressive place. I think one of the most beautiful homes we've seen on this channel. I hope you guys enjoyed coming on this adventure with me because I enjoyed sharing this one with you.
It's one of the more impressive places I think we'll see this year.

All right, guys. It's all the time we have for today's adventure. I hope you guys enjoyed coming on this one. This was an absolutely incredible mansion that was built back in 1994 and unfortunately now has been sitting abandoned for a few months with its future currently unknown but most likely to be demolished to make way for something much bigger and much more modern, which is quite a shame to see cuz as you could see through our walk through this house today, this was an absolutely beautiful home that was loved and taken care of. And you can see that everywhere we looked in this place, they spent every dollar they could to make this the most amazing home that they could live in. And it shows. Every bit of this house was absolutely stunning.
But probably the most incredible feature was that incredible walkway in the front there with all the chandeliers and those be beautiful stairs. Just an absolutely incredible place. And it's hard to believe that this one will be gone one day. But we're all very fortunate for having this chance to have this tour today. So, if you guys enjoyed coming on this adventure with me, please make sure you hit that like button, leave a comment about something I said or something you saw, share the video out, and of course, hype it up to three times to help push this one in YouTube's algorithm and tell them that I make great content. Well, that's all the time we have for this one today. If you haven't already and you enjoyed this adventure, please make sure you hit that like button there, check out last week's video down there, check out the random video up there, and we'll see you guys in the next video. Thanks for tuning in.
