Intrusive thoughts are not reflective of one's true character or spiritual state; they are passing thoughts that do not define identity or indicate wrongdoing. When struggling with unwanted thoughts, individuals can find peace by recognizing they are not their thoughts, bringing their minds back to truth and God's promises, and understanding that healing is a process requiring grace and patience.

Sis, If You Can’t Stop The Thoughts… Let’s Pray!Added:
Hey sis, welcome or welcome back to About Her Father's Business.
Tonight, this prayer is for the woman who has been dealing with intrusive thoughts.
Thoughts that feel unwanted, thoughts that feel disturbing, thoughts that feel loud, [music] heavy, random, or hard to shake. And before we even pray, I need to say this slowly.
You are not your thoughts.
A thought showing up does not mean it belongs to you.
A thought passing through your mind does not mean it speaks from your heart. And a [music] thought that scares you does not mean something is wrong with your love for God.
So, breathe. Close your eyes. You are still loved. You are still seen. And you are still safe with God.
And tonight, we [music] are going to pray for peace, for covering, for calm, and for a sound mind.
Sis, let's [music] pray.
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for the woman listening right now. Thank you that [music] you see her fully.
Thank you that nothing about her is hidden from you. Thank you that you are not distant from what she [music] has been facing in her mind. Lord, tonight I lift up the woman who has been struggling with [music] intrusive thoughts. The woman who has been scared by what has crossed her mind. [music] The woman who has been tired of battling thoughts she did not invite. The woman who has been carrying [music] shame, fear, panic, and pressure because her mind has not felt like a peaceful [music] place. Father, meet her right there. Meet her in the fear. Meet her in the tension. Meet her in the moments where she's [music] feeling unsettled.
Meet her in the silent battle she has not known how to explain.
>> [music] >> Lord, let your peace come near her right now. Not fake peace. Not surface peace.
Real peace. The kind of peace that goes past words. [music] The peace that surpasses her understanding. The kind of peace that settles the body, settles the chest, settles the heart, and settles the mind.
Your word says that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So, tonight we ask you for a sound mind. Let soundness come back. Let calm come back. Let steadiness come back. Let peace come back. Father, quiet every thought that did not come from you. Quiet fear. Quiet torment.
Quiet dread. Quiet [music] that panic.
Quiet the endless loop that keeps replaying in her mind. Quiet the thoughts that rush in without warning.
Quiet the thoughts that make her feel uneasy.
>> [music] >> Quiet the thoughts that try to make her afraid of herself. Quiet the thoughts that make her feel ashamed for something she did not choose. Lord, [music] break shame tonight. Break the shame that says, "If this thought came to my mind, something must be wrong with me." Break the lie that tells her that a thought defines her. Break the fear that tells her that she is stuck [music] like this forever. Remind her tonight that she is not her thoughts. Remind her that a passing thought does not get to name her. Remind her that what frightens [music] her does not get to become her identity. She belongs to you. Her mind [music] belongs to you. Her presence belongs to you. Her peace belongs to you. Her heart belongs to [music] you.
Her future belongs to you. And Father, I pray over the pressure that [music] may be sitting under all of this. If she has been exhausted, touch that place. If she has been overwhelmed, touch that [music] place. If she has been carrying too much, touch that place. If stress has been high, if rest has been low, if her body has been tense, [music] if her emotions have been stretched, touch those places, too. Because you care about the whole woman. You care about the part of her that is [music] trying to function in front of other people.
You care about the part of her that feels embarrassed by what she [music] is facing. You care about the part of her that has been afraid to talk about it out loud. Lord, be gentle with her tonight. [music] Let her feel your kindness. Let her feel your love. Let her feel your nearness. Let her feel that you are not disgusted. Let her feel that you are not pushing her away. Let her feel that you are close. Father, teach her how to respond when intrusive thoughts come. Teach her not to agree with what is false. Teach her to bring her mind back to truth. Back to what you said. Back to what is pure. Back to what is lovely. Back to what is true. Back to what is good report. Teach her how to pause. Teach her how to breathe. Teach her how to ground herself in you. Teach her how to let a thought pass without letting it rule her. Father, where there has been fear, bring safety. [music] Where there has been confusion, bring clarity. Where there has been heaviness, bring relief. Where there has been torment, bring quiet. Where there has been mental noise, bring the stillness.
Your [music] word says that you will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on you. Hallelujah. So, tonight help her mind come back to you.
When fear rises, help [music] her come back to you. When the thoughts feel loud, help her come back to you. When shame tries to speak, help her come back to you. When she feels tired, [music] help her come back to you. Not with performance. Not with trying to sound too deep. Not trying [music] to earn peace. Just coming back again and again to the God who keeps, to the God who covers, to the God who understands, the God who gives the peace. Father, [music] I pray against isolation. Do not let her hide in shame. Do not let fear make her feel alone. Do not let her believe that nobody would understand. Surround her with wisdom. Surround her with safe people. [music] Surround her with the kind of support that brings light and peace. And Lord, I pray for her nights.
I pray for the moments when everything gets quieter, but her mind gets louder.
[music] I pray for the times when she tries to rest, but thoughts keep moving. I ask that [music] you would cover her sleep.
Let her lie down in peace. Let her body rest. Let her mind unclench. Let her not be tormented at night. Let her room be filled with your peace. I [music] pray over her morning, too. Let her wake up lighter. Let her wake up steadier. Let her wake up knowing that this battle does not own her. Lord, give her grace for the process. Because [music] sometimes healing is not instant.
Sometimes peace is learned and fought for. Sometimes the mind has to be brought back again and again and again.
So, give her grace. Grace when she feels tired. Grace when she feels frustrated.
Grace when she feels disappointed. Grace when she wants to judge herself harshly.
Let her be [music] met by mercy. And Father, where her thoughts have made her afraid, be stronger. Where her mind has felt under attack, be stronger. Where those lies have spoken loudly, speak louder. Let truth rise. Let peace rise.
Let the calm rise. Let soundness rise.
And let this woman know deep in her spirit that you are able to keep her.
Able to steady her. Able to help her.
Able to comfort her. Able to heal what feels frayed in her spirit. Able to restore what feels worn down. Father, [music] I pray that from this night forward, from this day forward, she would begin to notice a shift. Not [music] because she is forcing it, but because your peace is meeting her right here. Let there be less fear. Less panic. Less shame. [music] Less agreement with lies. And let there be more peace. More truth. More breathing. [music] More calm. More trust. More rest. We place her mind before you now. Every thought. Every fear. Every loop. Every intrusive moment. Every private battle.
>> [music] >> We place it all before you. And we declare that her mind will not be ruled by fear. Her mind will not be ruled by panic. Her mind will not be ruled by torment. Her mind [music] is under the hand of God.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Sis, hear me clearly [music] tonight.
You are not your thoughts. And just because a thought shows [music] up does not mean it gets to stay. And it does not mean it gets to name you. Take this back to God in prayer after this.
And if this prayer spoke to you, comment sound mind below.
I love you with the love of God. Please pray for me as I pray for you, and I will talk to you soon.
>> [music] >> Lord above us high, thank you for [music and singing] this life.
Thank you for it all. My provider.
[music and singing] My healer. My deliverer. My protector.
My friend. [music] My love.
My righteous judge. [singing] You sit on high. You sit on high.
My Abba Father, >> [screaming] >> you are so worthy to call out your [music and singing] name.
To call out your name.
>> [music] >> Abba. Abba. Abba.
Lord above us high, thank you for [music and singing] this life.
Thank you for it all. My Abba Father, you are so worthy to call out your name.
To call out your name.
I surrender it all. Surrender [music] it all. I surrender it all.
I surrender it
