Mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, do not actually cure patients but rather help them manage and understand their conditions; this fundamental misunderstanding of their role can lead to unrealistic expectations and perpetuate harmful social dynamics like matriarchy, as therapists may model unhealthy relationship patterns (such as 'simping' or excessive dependency) that they then advise patients to adopt.

The Question The Therapist Doesn't Want You To Ask
Added:Hi again everyone. I'm Ollie Matthews.
This is societal narcissism. This video is sponsored by contribution from Eric.
Eric actually gave a contribution for a matriarchy video, but I didn't actually give him credit on that one. So, I'll give him credit on this one. So, thank you for the contribution, Eric.
But, what I wanted to talk about is I brought up in the last video where my I won't say my views on therapy or so much changing my views on therapists are changing and especially psychiatrists and psychologists.
And I said in the in in one of the previous videos that I I had I had viewed a video of psychiatrists being asked about how many patients they've cured.
Actually, I have two videos cuz I got a follow-up to to make the point after this first video. This first video is very short. So, let's just uh get right to it.
Psychiatrists were asked how many patients they've cured and this was their answer.
>> patients have you been able to cure so far? [laughter] >> I would say one.
>> One?
>> [laughter] >> I have cured [music] none of my patients.
>> How many people have I cured? Well, uh there are no real [music] cures right now in psychiatry.
>> There are no real cures in psychiatry.
None. Stunned silence.
And after about a 5-second silence and nervous last laughter, she said one. The first woman said one. Psychiatrist said one.
The answer is zero.
Cuz [clears throat] they're admitting that out loud. They don't actually cure anybody.
So, what's the point?
And you would think that they would have an answer on hand. Well, the point isn't being cured. The point is being able to manage and understand. But, they're they they don't even have that background because they're under the under they're out there under the guise of being able to cure you.
But, clearly nobody's ever really asked them the question, well, who have you actually cured?
And when then confronted, basically holding the mirror up to their faces, for the first time in their lives, they freeze.
This is a psychiatrist convention.
They're at a This was taking place at a convention for psychiatrists. Don't you think a cures and success stories would be something that is discussed? Clearly not.
That's not to say just throw the whole the whole process out the window and don't go to a therapist or don't see a psychiatrist. But, you have to understand they're not there to cure you.
Hey everyone. If you're enjoying this video, please give it a hype. And if you want your story read or set up a chat, then you know what to do with the links in the description box. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Thanks again for watching.
You also have to understand their role in perpetuating perpetuating the matriarchy that we've been talking about here.
And my next video is really going to accentuate that very well.
>> I met him after two divorces. Here's my bare minimum list in a relationship. Oh, no. He pays for our apartment, groceries, cleaning, and our daily cafes and restaurants. He buys diapers, toys, and everything our baby needs. It's not his baby. She had two kids from two other marriages.
>> Two kids from two other marriages that this simp is stepping in and raising.
We've been together for over a year. I have two kids from two marriages. We met during my second pregnancy.
Oh my god, how pathetic.
How pathetic.
>> And she met him during her second pregnancy. He gets up at night with the baby. No drama. On the nanny's day off, he takes the baby out in the morning while I can sleep.
>> And the nanny. And she has a na- And a nanny.
>> It's your child. Why aren't you as the Anyway, he supports my blog and business. He can cook breakfast and feed us, and he does not expect praise. He knows which diapers, what size, where to buy them. He can do laundry, take out the trash, and handle daily tasks. What the hell do you do? He cleans up the house. He buys everything. He takes care of your children. The nanny plays the role of the mother when you're the one that's supposed to be doing it. You don't cook. You don't do your own laundry. You don't do anything. I am not naive. Our relationship isn't perfect, and neither are we. I don't believe in forever anymore. You have a worshipping simp, and you're still not happy. And she's >> What do you do to make this woman happy?
>> a psychologist, by the way.
Just before you go and pay >> And there's the punchline. I'm sorry.
>> a simp, and you're still not happy. And she's a psychologist, by the way.
Just before you go and pay a therapist, keep in mind this is who your therapist is probably going to be. [laughter] That is so tough.
>> [music] >> Keep that in mind.
Most of the time these therapists are more are more effed up than we are.
Bottom line.
That doesn't mean you throw the whole thing out.
But there we go. I mean the therapy industry, the psychological the psychiatrist industry, the mental health industry is geared towards the matriarchy. It's geared towards pampering the matriarchy, letting the matriarchy grow. Now these women a psychologist is out there simping her husband publicly and then giving those God knows what advice to her patients.
To these I would assume mostly women seeing her.
Like he said, like the second guy said, keep in mind before you go that's who that's who you're getting advice from. So.
Thank you again Eric. I'm Ollie Matthews. This has been Societal Narcissism. Take care everyone.
