[00:00:32]>> As soon as he was like, "Okay, I just turned out a quarter billion dollars."

[00:00:35]He was just like >> flush.

[00:00:38]>> Yeah, >> he's being flushed.

[00:00:39]>> Yeah. I don't know. You think it's Greg?

[00:00:40]I think it's Tom. Tom's going to be >> both of them probably.

[00:00:43]>> Yeah.

[00:00:43]>> And they're probably going to try.

[00:00:44]They're probably going to go down fighting because Greg's going to be like, "Well, I have this recording." And then >> Greg is most certainly going to go down fighting.

[00:00:50]>> Yeah. And then Tom's going to look terrible and it's going to be absolutely horrible and I don't know what's going to happen. I wonder if Tom How long Tom is going to stay in the show? Yeah. You mean get divorced? Like I don't That's sort of what I'm saying. As we continue the show, in what regard are certain characters going to die or leave, right?

[00:01:08]>> Die >> like Marca Like Marca is an example of that. Like is she is that relationship over? I feel like Logan's gonna die at the end.

[00:01:15]>> I need I need to reflect on the fact that the show genuinely could go anywhere, especially with the whole turkey deal happening that you don't you don't particularly because like in the last season again it ended with such a weird turn where like things got it was all business and politics and then now it was about like crime. someone died, you know, and [music] is that again like will someone blow a gasket and murder one of the characters that we, you know, they've had these underlying like things get really blood bloody and really real quick like no the crash and I'm not thinking of the crash. I'm thinking of the guy who deleted in in the middle of the office, right? So just moment little things like that where you're just like okay how real would this get? Will Logan Logan's done crazy things. Bore on the floor, peed on the floor multiple times.

[00:02:06]The show opened with that. So like >> he likes to [music] do that.

[00:02:09]>> So like what what will he do? You know, how far will he go when his brain truly breaks? You know, those sorts OF DEALS.

[00:02:15]>> SCREAM. [screaming] >> NO.

[00:02:18]>> YEAH. So you wonder like will the writer or the writers take it so far as to like for our main characters like blood will be spilled, you know, that sort of deal.

[00:02:28]I don't know. Maybe that's maybe that's uh would be overdramatic or maybe that's sort of overestimating what is going to be the drama. But >> well, some kind of blood sacrifice happen.

[00:02:36]>> I guess I I guess I I don't I didn't mean that in regard to this. I just meant like eventually, you know, will things get really crazy cuz the tension the personal the personal tension and the personal angst amongst the different characters continues to grow. And we're only two seasons in. We have two more.

[00:43:23]>> You know, and so he puts everyone through the ringer just to make it to like that is what he wants. He wants a killer in the position.

[00:43:34]>> And Shiv is not a killer because she spared she wanted to spare her moment of weakness. It was her one moment of weakness.

[00:43:42]>> Yeah. She's not a killer. So, so, >> and Roman's competent, but he's not a killer, >> right? And so, right, cuz he wouldn't he wouldn't throw Jerry, right?

He's always trying to >> What's interesting though is that when when Kendall did the bear hug thing, he was going after him, >> but and he was not he was upset about in that case, but maybe it's just because he was trying to do it from the outside, you know, that he was trying to get that it see that it seems weaker to go to like get muscle from the outside, >> not come up from underneath, you know, >> and rebel. So, >> what's going to happen?

Yeah. In the background just looming like massive uh ship that represents the like extravagance and excess and this like sort of dark beast of this machine, you know, >> that is consumes people.

[00:48:01]>> Sort of interesting how the show sometimes brushes up against who are the real those who are the real people.

[00:48:07]>> Mhm. And they're like the aliens, you know, like they're the little alien creatures. They're the little bugs.

[00:48:13]They're the little like fish that swim underneath the the surface, you know, that you sort of encounter. And then like these are the people like the high and mighty. Like they are it just completely in their own little world, right? Like they're two different species.

[00:48:26]>> Yeah. They barely cross, >> right?

[00:48:29]>> Only when they need the help, right?

[00:48:31]when they have their like pe their servers coming like it's like just such a different class that they almost like don't exist to them >> and it's like so they're so overlooked and it's wild like just all of the like all of the lines Roman at one point in this episode was like oh I stayed in a Marriott once it was >> like horrible whatever >> it's like they have no sense of reality as like most people experience it >> which is so weird >> and let me say for the record I don't believe that wealth in and of itself is a bad thing.

[00:49:05]>> I think some people have a right and have earned a state of wealthiness.

[00:49:09]>> Like it's not a bad thing to build a successful company.

[00:49:12]>> I don't know if decadence >> the question is >> is ever right. And by decadence I kind of mean this sort of deal.

[00:49:20]>> Yeah. At what point does it become >> I kind of >> ethically morally questionable or you know because it's like you could make that argument about like different things like is it >> like going on a nice vacation or taking your family to Disneyland or whatever you know some people could say well that's excessive you don't need to do that >> that's the problem with my saying that is what where is the what crosses over into decadence >> because everyone has a different threshold and a different metric for >> exactly >> what's excessive you know >> I I think it's mostly like it's up it's up to the individual story. Obviously, in this situation, you know, everyone is terrible. But but I think my the point that I'm making I'm trying to make is I don't I'm not someone who thinks that wealth is a bad thing. Um some people are just, you know, vindictive and jealous of wealth, jealous of wealthy people.

[00:50:10]>> I'm not like one of those people. But >> but there is something to be said about the fact that >> it's disgusting in this show. Yeah, >> it's like >> like the level of the level of wealth that we're talking about is it's corrupting, right? I mean, it's you can't escape it to have if you if you don't have a foundation to stand on. If you don't have, like we've said all along, like values and um a system of morality and principles that you're going to operate on, you are going to just take advantage of everyone and everything to get ahead and live, you know, a very indulgent life for yourself, you know, and it's like, yeah, like you can wealth is a great thing.

[00:50:56]It's it gives you so much power to do so much in the world for good or evil, you know, and you can you can do great things with it and you can be generous or you can be like a Scrooge, you know.

[00:51:08]>> Uh um Logan does care about something.

[00:51:11]The thing he cares about most is the game.

[00:51:14]>> Yeah.

[00:51:14]>> You know.

[00:51:15]>> Mhm.

[00:51:16]>> He he cares about Monopoly more than anything. The game of Monopoly.

[00:51:20]>> He cares about winning.

[00:51:21]>> Yeah. Like that's his that's his but even still like it pleases him that if he's backing into a corner that like someone is winning >> on really his terms.

[00:51:32]>> Someone's playing the game how he wants it to be played.

[00:51:34]>> Exactly.

[00:51:34]>> Yeah.

[00:51:35]>> Yeah. Anyway, >> it's pretty crazy. That was very exciting.

[00:52:01]>> At other times he like >> he's he's goes so hard.

[00:52:04]>> It's like that last conversation with his dad gave him what he needed to break away.

[00:52:11]>> Yep. I love it.

[00:52:12]>> It's crazy.

[00:52:15]So wild. Well, that was good. Good ending. How many more seasons?

[00:52:20]>> Two, I believe. I think it's a four season show. Yeah. I don't think Logan, by the way, will put on the face that he like he'll he won't go down fighting or he won't go down without a fight >> cuz Yeah.

[00:52:34]>> Even though he's pleased.

[00:52:35]>> Mhm.

[00:52:36]>> It It's the start of something. It's the return of that fight, >> you know.

[00:52:40]>> And it makes him feel like he has something to do.

[00:52:45]>> The thing is he won't he will not go down. He wants to feel like he's a player. He doesn't want to feel backed into like >> Well, and Kendall has to win.

[00:52:52]>> Yeah. He still has to prove that he can win.

[00:52:54]>> He still has to win.

[00:52:55]>> Yeah. Because he's he's he's not going to pull his punches. Like he won't do that, right?

[00:53:00]>> He's like, you have to win fair and square. Yeah. Duel to the death and then I will respect you. You know, you can do whatever it takes.
