A bigger army still lost here 😱 #history #ancientchina #war Forced soldiers switched sides at Mu...Added:
At the Battle of Muye in 1046 BC, the Zhou army faced the larger Shang force in China. King Dixin had numbers, but many of his soldiers were slaves and forced fighters who did not want to die for him.
When the armies met, huge parts of the Shang line broke or switched sides, and the Zhou won fast.
That victory ended the Shang Dynasty and began Zhou rule.
