[00:20:44]>> What followed ran 21 minutes. This analysis sets the narrative aside and examines only the law that governed each decision. One caveat, no agency or state is named on camera. Florida law is applied inferred from the offense terminology used in the footage. Begin with federal law. Title 14 Code Federal Regulations Section 121.575 subsection C. No air carrier may allow a person to board if that person appears intoxicated. The airline held no discretion to exercise. So the central demand in dispute was one the carrier was legally forbidden to grant. That fact frames everything that follows.

[00:24:05]Secondary reporting alone describes charges for disorderly intoxication and resisting. Those are allegations. She is presumed innocent. The officers receive a B+. They identified every lawful pathway, chose the least restrictive, and pursued it well past the ordinary.

[00:24:19]They stated federal aviation law accurately, and absorbed sustained personal abuse without retaliation or any escalation of force. Three failures hold the grade down. First, a factual error about altitude and blood alcohol delivered as authoritative explanation.

It costs nothing to say and rarely improves an outcome. Third, patience is a tactic with documented value, and a single unnecessary word on camera reduces that value permanently. And where a statute offers a medical disposition, the reason for choosing arrest instead belongs in the written report.
