I'm so glad to see my brothers and sisters come here on a Friday afternoon after a long week of hardworking and still willing to learn the dharma, the teaching from master. It's awesome. You guys are great and it's so beautiful out there. I know some of us would like rather be outside, but in here it's much better, right?
So brothers and sisters of the sanga, how many of us have ever loan money to someone and suddenly that person disappears faster than free food at a party.
Right before the loan, they text you every single day. Good morning. How are you? You're such a great friend.
After the loan, silence, nothing.
Now you're sitting there staring at your phone thinking, "Did they change their number or did they move out of the country?"
Right? So we laugh. But many of us have experienced some version of this, right?
Yeah. And while it may sound funny, it teaches us something very important about life, compassion, and wisdom.
Both God and the Buddha teaches us to help others, to be kind, to be generous, to care for people who are struggling.
But they also teach us something equally important.
Compassion without wisdom can sometimes create more suffering.
Now brothers and sisters, as master said, money is not just paper.
Money is energy.
It represents your time, your hard work.
Your sacrifices, your stress, your early mornings and late nights, every dollar carries a piece of your life energy, right? Do you agree?
So when we give or loan money, we should do it with mindfulness and wisdom.
not guilt, not pressure and not emotional impulse.
Now I remember a time when someone came to me asking for financial help.
Immediately my heart wanted to help.
I thought if I say no, maybe I'm not being compassionate.
But deep inside something felt uncomfortable.
This person had a pattern.
Poor decisions, repeated irresponsibility.
Always another emergency.
Still, I ignored that inner feeling because I wanted to appear kind.
Later, the money was never repaid.
But honestly, losing the money was not even the worst part.
The worst part was the suffering afterwards.
frustration, resentment, disappointment.
That experience taught me a powerful lesson.
Helping someone without wisdom can sometimes enable unhealthy behaviors instead of helping them grow.
In Buddhism, compassion and wisdom must walk together like two wings of a bird.
If we only have compassion without wisdom, we may become emotionally exhausted.
If we only have wisdom without compassion, we may become cold and disconnected.
So we need both.
God teaches us to love and give generously, but also to be wise stewards of what we have been entrusted with.
Different words, same truth.
Now let me ask all of you, my brothers and sisters, something.
How many of you have ever helped someone while a little voice inside was already saying this may not end well? How many of you have that happened? Brothers and sisters, raise your hand. I want to see.
Come on. Others see. Yeah.

Sometimes helping means giving money.
Sometimes helping means offering advice.
Sometimes helping means giving your time.
Sometimes helping means teaching responsibility and sometimes helping means lovingly saying no.
Because if someone keeps falling into the same hole, eventually we must stop carrying them out of it and start teaching them how to walk differently.
That brothers and sisters is wisdom.
So here are three simple questions we can ask ourselves before helping financially.
First, am I helping this person grow or helping them avoid responsibility?
Second, can I give this freely without resentment or expectation?
And third, is this decision coming from wisdom or from guilt and pressure?
These questions protect both compassion and peace.
So remember this brothers and sisters, God and the Buddha both teach generosity, but they also teach wisdom.
Help people, support others, be compassionate, but remember your money is your energy.
Your time is your energy and true compassion is not blindly giving everything away.
True compassion is helping in a way that creates growth, responsibility, healing, and long-term good for everyone involved.

But the happy not out there. The happy still inside.

Because I spend time with me and I look at the suja. I un sit meditation and then I look at this way my grandpa or my mother or my father-in-law because that moment you know that time when you spend time with God in that moment be quiet. You can spend time with Buddha in that moment. You know look like everything you know quiet you can hear you know your heart you can hear you know you know in universal working and I look at this way because my grandma home you know outside get a pond and I look in this way you know in morning time all you know the flower boom I wonder why Then the Lord will not blow in the morning time because they don't like the bean but I see a lot of power the bean come take on you and then I see a 12:00 or near 1:00 too hot and the Lord boom and where all the beans and I look at this way a lot of you are too young boyfriend, girlfriend and then then what happen? You need to learn to be with you and you need to learn to recognize between lonely and single.
You know when your boyfriend, girlfriend, you are selling you this way. Congratulation.
