Supreme Court rulings are not permanent because the U.S. government operates on a system of checks and balances, where Congress can influence judicial decisions through budget control, jurisdiction limits, and the ability to add or remove Supreme Court members; additionally, the Constitution is a living document that can evolve over time, and historical examples like the 2012 Ohio voter registration case demonstrate that voter turnout and political action can reverse unfavorable rulings.

SUPREME COURT RULING AGAINST VOTERS RIGHTS IS NOT PERMANENTAdded:
Stay with me and I'm going to break down why the Supreme Court ruling against Voters's Rights Act is not permanent.
Here's the deal.
Obviously, I'm talking about the Supreme Court ruling uh that allows these southern states that are Republican to redistrict and [ __ ] up all of the black and brown people.
That's what I'm talking about. But it's not permanent. And I'm going to break down to you exactly why it's not permanent. what can be done against the Supreme Court? How do we get Supreme Court reform? And how can we deal with this differently going forward? But let me take you back to what got us there first. Look, what got us there was people who weren't voting for Hillary Clinton. What got us there was people who weren't voting for Kla Harris.
There's a tie in with people, whether it be black, white, green, purple, whoever, who weren't supporting women and the agenda. Now, I kind of understood with Hillary because there's some things she [ __ ] up as far as communicating to other groups. She assumed, but Kla had 107 days to pull off a [ __ ] miracle.
And even though I believe the you know what was stolen cuz I worked on that campaign and the numbers don't look right in North Carolina, in Pennsylvania or in Michigan, [ __ ] look off. But regardless of all of that, let's move forward. Let's talk about what got us here. And that is you have Latino men who did not vote. Latinos did, but Latino men and white women who sat on that couch. I'm not talking about the ones who vote for MAGA or the ones who voted for Kla. white women who sat on that couch that allowed this [ __ ] to go through.
And because of that, what happened? Row versus Wade, voters, right? But here's the thing you got to understand.
The part of our government that nobody talks about is the fact that we have a living, breathing government. Well, Darren, what does that mean? That means basically the Constitution is a living, breathing document. But Donald Trump don't care about the Constitution. I don't give a [ __ ] what Donald Trump give a [ __ ] about. I'm so tired of you [ __ ] coming to me with that [ __ ] You think you What the [ __ ] is wrong with you to think that what Donald Trump thinks overrides the law? Oh, he tries, but he may have and he may have immunity, but his people don't. And he knows it. He that's why out of all of these cases, thousands of them, in the last 16 months, he's been following what the [ __ ] the courts say. He get he talks about the courts. He's mad at the courts, but he follows what the courts say because he knows if he doesn't his people going to fall and he ain't got a lot of people. He only two two rosters deep, you know, after that. I mean, like the DOJ is [ __ ] right now. They are [ __ ] There's nobody he can replace that with that'll even be close to what Bondi was. Bondi was his most loyal person and he [ __ ] her over like that.
But I knew that was happening. There's a history of Republicans firing the women first and that's what he did. The labor secretary um they you know her gnome that's going to be more. Let's take this back to how the Supreme Court makes decisions, but they're not set in stone. Because if that was the case, my black ass would be a slave right now. The ability for our government to change his mind is there.
Now, you might say, "Okay, Darren, doesn't that mean we have to get more Supreme Court members uh or change out or wait for them to die in and get a liberal court?" No. Here's a way that Congress can [ __ ] up the Supreme Court.
Remember, we are three branches of government. Most people don't understand the history, operation, laws, and economics of our government. We are three branches. And out of these branches, one of which, the Supreme Court, by the way, Trump don't own the Supreme Court. We lost a ruling. But there's no way in the [ __ ] world that if he owned the Supreme Court, he would have lost the gerrymandering of California and the tariffs case. There's no way. No way.
So they're on their own agenda, the Supreme Court, and they [ __ ] over black people and other people who aren't white. But understand this, he don't own them. these three branches they created just in case the Supreme Court wanted to act like [ __ ] or do something wrong.
There's Congress and Congress can [ __ ] with their budget, can shut them down, can also look at their limits. Remember, they got 18 months of good behavior.
It's not for life, but it's been assumed it was tenure, but it's not. We could also add and minus the number of Supreme Court members through Congress. Well, why is that important? November 3rd.
November 3rd makes a decision. Oh, don't get mad. Vote. Get out your feelings, black people. Get into your focus. Get out your feelings. Get into your focus and vote. Here's what happens.
Having a majority Democratic in uh uh Congress in the House and in the Senate changes the dynamic on what the Supreme Court's going to do. They can shut them down. Now, I know we get into that question all day long. Will they?
I like to say that there are some things that they're absolutely going to do because Jeff and Schumer are super mad and they looking for get back. It's self-interest. Get back.
But are there some things they may not do?
Yeah. Like people are lighting up uh uh Jeffre right now because he said that impeaching Donald Trump is not on the highest list of agendas. And some of you might say, "But what is that the highest agenda?" No, it's not. It's [ __ ] getting rid of this big beautiful bill.
This is going to gut our country and make tax breaks for billionaires.
Don't you agree? They're coming after our Social Security, ACA, Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, uh, Veterans Benefits. They're coming after Medicaid, Medic. They're coming after our ass.
That's a priority, y'all. Come on now.
And then there's some things as far as like limiting his war powers that are costing service members their lives, not to mention destroying our budget. And oh, that 2027 budget that can be affected as soon as we swear in the 120th Congress on January 3rd, 2027.
Remember these dates, November 3rd, 2026. January 3rd, 2027.
We got a war going on.
and understand that just because the Supreme Court has put it into writing, it is automatically set. No. No. And there are people who are very intelligent. Don Lemon, love Don Lemon, but he's wrong. He said this ruling on the Voters Rights Act has been ruled forever. Wrong, Don. Wrong, homie.
Wrong. That's not true.
We are a living breathing country with living breathing constitution, living breathing documents that have made it.
So just in case there's a ruling that happens this time, it could be changed this time or there are things that Congress can do to make that ruling rougher because it's called checks and balances. You've heard that in civil in and civics is is checks and balances.
And I know it throws people off because they're too busy listening to Trump about him thinking he controls everything because he's mindfucking you.
The reason he's mindfucking you is because he wants you to believe that he controls everything and he does not.
He doesn't. That's why number one question people ask me, why is he getting away with things? He's not. He's getting to wait for it. And he's getting shut down. But you're not paying attention to that because the people who are shutting him down are too busy whipping his ass to stop and say, "You know what? I'm whipping his ass." It's like watching a Mike Tyson fight. Mike says, "You know what I'm doing here is I'm pushing my nose to push through his brain." And no, he just whips ass.
Democracy Forward has won 95% of their cases against Trump. The AG's, according to Leticia James, have won 80% of their cases. They're losing. They're losing.
Not because I say so, but because the math is mathing.
Favorite song off of Jill Scott's new album for me is the math. You do the math. You do the math and see what you get. You know, the math is mathing in our favor.
So if you think this voters right [ __ ] is forever ever black fe people, you're wrong. And Don Lemon, you're wrong for even put that out there. That's what I mean by alarmism.
Don Lemon is doing alarmism. He's out there saying it's been screwed. It's been gutted. We're over forever. No, [ __ ] We ain't ever over forever. Forever. Ever. Forever. Ever?
Never.
Congress has the powers and we have the Democratic power coming in the 120th Congress in January 3rd to [ __ ] up a lot of things that the judicial branch is trying to do.
In addition to that, have a chance to do reform. For instance, the person I'm voting for in Illinois, if you're in Illinois, vote for Juliana Stratton.
She's one of the few senators I see, you know, uh, senatorial candidates who are Democratic saying, "We're going to have Supreme Court reform." And the reason she takes that personally is her father, like my mother, marched with Martin Luther King, and she knows the struggle. She'll be the sixth, only sixth black woman to be a senator in our 250 years. What the [ __ ] You know, especially 160 of those years since slavery. What the [ __ ] I'm saying to you is that you need to stop and pay more attention to what's coming out of people's mouths.
If you've come this far, I'm going to invite you definitely to get in my clarity group. The link in the description. I think I have it free right now. go ahead and click through and join because this is the type of [ __ ] I'm talking about in detail that I can't even talk about in on YouTube. They won't let me on YouTube. They won't let me talk about things on YouTube. They won't.
What I'm trying to get you to understand is the bigger picture that exists.
Our government is not designed to be permanent in stone or I would be a slave right now.
women would not be able to vote right now.
God knows what be happening what would be happening to other minorities.
Minorities who come here look down upon black people many times thinking that they're better not knowing that it was black people who opened up the door for your ass to have the very civil rights you have.
And I'll be fair, black people sometimes have not been welcoming to immigrants as well. I I'll give that up because that's true. I've seen how black people have treated the Caribbean and African people at times when they here make fun of their language. Boom boom boom. I know it's ugly. I'm I'm real enough to say that.
But let's be very clear. If we don't start working together, we [ __ ] And you better realize those [ __ ] who don't look like you ain't about to be for you.
Do you hear what I'm saying? Latino, Mexican men, they're not for you. They don't give no [ __ ] about you. If you think black people are rad are bad, imagine what you're going to get with whites cuz they're the ones tearing you out the street, detaining you. And y'all ain't built for this. Obviously, I tell a story often of a young man um I mentored his his cousin who's 16 years old walking down the street with his girlfriend in Minneapolis.
Ice picks him up, grabs him, holds him for hours, like 12, 16 hours. They had to walk up the street from the detention center, okay? Because they held them trying to get them to rat on other people and they wouldn't. And they let him go. They go walking up the street to a bar. Well, not up the street, miles away to a bar to try to get the bar to let them call their parents. And they did. And the kid got home. The boy got home. Young man got home and he hung himself.
He died.
Horrible.
But what happened to him? How many times has that happened to black men, black teenage boys?
I'm not saying, you know, good on them or that's, you know, but the thing is is that what I'm trying to point out is that my Mexican Latino brothers and sisters, y'all ain't built for this cuz y'all ain't been treated like this.
We've been treated like this for 160 years after slavery, not to mention slavery.
And these [ __ ] are real. And we've been trying to tell you for a very long time, these [ __ ] don't want you part of the American dream.
They they want to take you out. They want to bring you down.
Facts.
I want you to understand that this government that we have everybody is a very fragile thing. But Donald Trump has failed at the following.
Trying to shake the foundation of our government because he can't just step over the Constitution, the yada yada constitution. He can't just go in and [ __ ] with the formation of our government. He can't just do that.
But many people don't know, and he knows that. They don't know their civics. They don't know the history, operation, laws, and economics of our government.
Put that in the comments for me if you still listening. History, operation, laws, and economics of our government.
Because those things dictate whether he can actually do it. And he can't. But what he can do is [ __ ] with people on the left by saying he's going to do something that he has no authority to do like mailing ballots and I'm going to go ahead and you know make sure that all the ballots come through the DHS and I'm going to you don't have no right to do that. And the judges that's why they strike him down every way talking about give me the voter registration role.
Rhode Island said nope. Michigan said, "Nope." Whole bunch of states said, "Nope.
[ __ ] you." You know, and the ones that did capitulate are getting sued by organization in the state like in Alaska.
Our laws are not written in stone.
They're not. They're written in pencil cuz they can be erased or reversed.
And regarding this Supreme Court ruling, there's a ton of things that the Congress can do to [ __ ] up Supreme Court tremendously and not make them effective at all.
And they can't introduce, of course, Supreme Court reform. That's why I'm voting Juliana Stratton because Supreme Court reform.
That's what we need. We need Supreme Court reform.
Checks and balances, [ __ ] That's what I'm saying. We need No, for real.
Supreme Court reform changes the game.
But even before Supreme Court reform, do you know that our government can [ __ ] with the operation of the Supreme Court? Yeah. Oh, we can [ __ ] with them. That's why I said November 3rd this year, January 3rd, 2027, where the 120th Congress comes in. Or we can get their ass voters rights. Yeah, but they did. Understand Trump has no idea that the Supreme Court has unleashed hell on him and his administration. They're going to show up twice as much than they would before this Voters Rights Act. They're going to show up because black folks don't like the idea you taking something from us.
Let me give you an example. When uh 2012 came, it looked like Mitt Romney had a damn good chance of winning.
And there was this thing about limiting voters registration like Republicans do.
And this was in Ohio, man. Cleveland voted their [ __ ] ass off.
Black Cleveland showed up.
Why?
Because you were taking something from them.
This is a wakeup call to the young people who think that things are in stone.
See, it's not one way or another. Don Lemon's wrong. This ain't in stone. This decision ain't in stone. But here's the other thing that [ __ ] us. And that is understanding that our rights are not in stone. We got to fight like a [ __ ] every day for them [ __ ] And that's what this is all about.
Fighting for our rights, knowing that we're living, breathing country with living, breathing documents that are willing to change over time, not only through decision, but through the Congress person power in courts.
That's so important right now because there's a civil war going on. Do you know in the courts there's a civil war and it's between the lower courts and the Supreme Court and of course they're between the appeal and all that stuff.
What's happening is the lower courts are standing on business. Here's what most people don't know. I didn't I didn't know that most people didn't know this until getting asked questions and I realized this. The Supreme Court is are the [ __ ] At least six of them are.
Okay. But the lower courts, do you know we've been killing them? 70 to 80%.
We've been killing them because even Trump appointed judges are like, "Man, this [ __ ] illegal, [ __ ] You can't do this. [ __ ] you think you are?
Nothing's permanent. Our country is an ongoing experiment that we go back and forth with.
But the good news is it's not permanent when the decisions are against us. The bad news is it's not permanent when the decisions fall our way. We got to fight every day knowing that the cost of freedom ain't free. And the cost of those voting racks rights um have cost thousands of black people's lives and others. White people too. In that Mississippi Bernie movie, two of those guys were white Jewish dudes from New York. From New York, they lost their lives over that registering black people to vote.
And now we still go on with this. It's not given. I learned this this week. I have two I had 200,000 followers on Tik Tok and I have three other accounts, thank God. So, you can look me up and it says Darren Monroe fan. You'll see my actual videos talking about me getting banned, but I got banned for talking about this very thing on YouTube that I'm talking about or or on other social medias talking about, which how unfair I believe this is with their Supreme Court ruling. I didn't do anything wrong.
But that's where we're at. One minute you got your rights, next minute you don't. But here's the good thing to know. Nothing's permanent in stone with the Supreme Court, with the lower courts, with the appeals court.
Hang in there. Get your ass into that poll in November, no matter what the [ __ ] going on, because we need you.
Make sure you check out my next video.
I'm always on point with a lot of stuff.
