WARNING! Violent Ex-Soldiers Are On Their Way to the UKAdded:
People talk about danger and fear with the illegal migrants making the crossing across the English Channel into the UK.
How they're fighting age males, majority of them anyway. But is it getting a lot worse? Because Belgium have warned that trained ex-soldiers are making their way from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria over to the UK. What threat does this pose to Belgium, France, the UK, and wider Europe? I'm Craig, a former British soldier, and this is what we're going to be breaking down today. Remember to like, share, subscribe, and hit that hype button. Getting into it then, the Belgium police have basically released that armed soldiers are now protecting the boats before they make the crossing, preventing the police from interfering.
Because what they would do is they would basically stab the boats, pop them, and prevent them from getting into the water. But apparently they're unable to do that.
We've got a couple of articles that we need to break down, and I'll give you my thoughts.
Have a look at this. Violent ex-soldiers from Iraq, Afghanistan massing along Belgium coast at locations used for small boat crossings. Some of you might be like, "But they make the crossing from France."
Well, because the French have tightened up their patrols on the beaches, and making it a little bit harder for them to make the crossings, they're now looking at crossing and have made a few crossings from the Belgium coast. Violent ex-soldiers from countries such as Iraq or Afghanistan have massed small boat launch sites on the Belgium coast, police have revealed.
A growing number of military men have been spotted accompanying the boats, making it too dangerous for the police to intervene, local force chief Nicholas Palenik said this week. With French authorities taking a stricter approach to monitoring the would-be migrants, small boat smuggling gangs have moved to launch from Belgium, but armed men have rendered authorities impotent to stop the boats. Normally, they would pop or puncture the boats beforehand, but they're unable to do that. Couple of points from this is what I don't get is if you know they're armed, send armed officers or get the military involved to help and support it. I get that the first couple of patrols they've gone out to intervene in these crossings have been unable to do so if they're not armed, but straight away, if you've spotted armed personnel protecting the boats in your country and they're there illegally, why you not calling in armed response straight away? But, it's not possible they're here because you see ex-military personnel from Iraq circling the boat to ensure the police cannot get to it. Officers were threatened by the soldiers and a mirror was even smashed with an iron bar. We conducted a risk analysis and it was too dangerous to operate on the beach anymore. We will not do that again. Police have also found weapons of war, ammunition in migrant tent camps and have warned it is only a matter of time before officers are confronted.
Once again, if you spotted these, why you not sending in armed response? Why you not escalating that situation to basically deal with deal with the personnel that are there.
That would be my straight away if I was a police officer or border force or whatever it was. I'd be like, "They're armed. We need a better response to this. Can you send armed units?"
That's your That's your dynamic risk assessment, and then you obviously you go in, detain them, and arrest them. And if those armed or firearms are to get into a gunfight, then so be it. That's what they're trained for, and then you prevent these migrants from congregating, amassing, and then making that crossing.
So, that's one of them.
Then we've had this.
Tackle it now. Former border inspector issues warning over serious threat of new small boat migrant route. So, like I said, this is the one from Belgium, and this is what we now need to be careful of. Because if the Belgium police aren't ready and willing to go in and basically conduct the necessary operations to prevent it, they're only going to amass even more and basically make that crossing. But, the ex-independent chief inspector of borders and immigration spoke to GB News after police revealed violent ex-soldiers from Iraq or Afghanistan were facilitating crossings from the new location. Armed men are aiding small boat smuggling gangs which have moved to launch from Belgium after French authorities took a stricter approach. It is a very serious threat. It's a serious threat on a number of levels, Mr. Vine stressed. He expected the UK Border Force to be totally alarmed by the developments.
He said, "Very often in any migration flow, people come as foreign fighters.
There are people who have trained and have been part of militias and irregular armies in such places as Iraq and Syria.
To that end, Mr. Vine insisted that Belgium police must take action, but cautioned that it would be a dangerous operation. First of all, the Belgium police chief will want to ensure that officers, when they actually engage in trying to stop the boats, are not going to put themselves in danger."
Couple of things to break down here that we need to go through. So, So, we before we get to about the Belgian police being put in danger, we know that a lot of men from these countries have had access to weapons, have had some sort of training, or have been in militias or the army.
It's just what happens in those countries, especially if you think about Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria. There's been a lot of war going on in recent times. So, it's likely that from a very young age, they have basically been around war, they've been around weapon systems, they know how to use them, they know how to train them, and there's obviously a large a high percentage that these have served in some sort of army because they needed the soldiers.
So, we knew that was happening and this is what people have been saying for a very long time. But now, I think because they actually armed and they're seeing it, they're now openly talking about it.
But this is what people have been saying for pretty long time. Next one.
First of all, the Belgian police chief will want to ensure officers when they engage trying to stop the boats are not going to put themselves in danger. This is what I don't agree with. Once again, I know we're repeating ourselves, but stick with it. It makes sense. Belgian police, British police, French police, whatever police force around the world, you put your lives on the line every day, you put yourselves in danger. That is your job. So, basically get the correct trained personnel to basically deal with this issue. If they're not armed, don't send them in. Send them in as support and backup. Send in the armed officers to deal with it. Get the army in.
Get someone in, the commandos, whoever it is, whatever forces you've got to deal with this because one, this is now a risk to the UK and other European nations, but you're putting your own citizens at risk if you're admitting that migrants have weapon systems, they have munitions, they have all sorts in these migrant camps in your countries around your local communities. Why are you not doing something about it? It's not just about preventing the boats, it's about looking after your citizens. And they all talk about the EU and Europe and being one and looking after each other. Look after your other country citizens in and around you as well. Saying that, they do say at the minute, apparently, the small boat crossings are down this time of year, so in May as they were in 2025 and 2024, but a thousand illegal migrants have made the crossing in May alone.
We've most probably not had the best weather recently, but the weather is looking extremely good. So, expect a lot of small boat crossings over the coming week. They made the first lot of crossings today, and that is the first lot in the first in in the in the last 2 weeks.
So, definitely expect a lot more crossings to happen. This is what is coming to the UK. This is what people have been talking about for a long time.
They've called you liars, conspiracy theorists. It's pretty much common sense. I'm not saying everyone is a threat, cuz they're not. That's just not true.
But, there are people out there that are. And, they want to basically protect these boats. They want to protect these people making the crossings. And because, you know, through protests, through the anything possible with citizens in uproar, possibly starting to riot, saying, "Look, you need to get cracked down on this." Not saying they're doing a great job of it, cuz I don't think they are. Maybe authorities have stepped up their patrols. So, they're like, "We still need to make these crossings. So, we're going to step up what we're doing."
That's what's going on in the UK right now. This is what's going on in Belgium and in France. Should you be worried?
Are you worried? I'd love to know what your thoughts are in the comment section. I think they need to get a grip of this. I think the authorities need to basically get some cojones, okay, and do their job. This is what they they've signed up for. This is what they do. Protect the citizens. You put yourselves in danger.
That's what you sign up for.
