[00:00:00]landed in PDX airport. And some of you have said that I'm very unprofessional for what I did to the ICE agents at JFK today. And you're right, because I insulted pigs. I called the ICE agent pigs. And pigs, actual pigs, the animals deserve better. But on a more serious note, if you think it's unprofessional to walk up to people who work for an agency that are separating families, letting multiple women miscarry in ICE a in ICE custody, um impregnating children in ICE custody, um and the horrible things they're doing like murdering American citizens. I actually think it's very professional to uh to tell these agents what we think of them. And so you think it's unprofessional? Cool. You know how you would act in 1940s Germany.

[00:00:45]And you know what? I'm fine with that. I mean, I literally just released a book last week. So, if you want to support me, go ahead and buy my book. There are lots of people on this app who are other doctors and doing these things and releasing books and or they're just worried about their brand and they don't speak out about this stuff. And to them, I say, grow a hair, grow some ovaries, and speak up. It's not about what you sell or how many followers you have.

[00:02:15]The only reason why you had almost no wait time at the JFK airport is because of them. The reason why a lot of TSA lines have been flowing so quickly is because of them. God forbid that they do their job. God forbid that they go to airports to help Americans like you.

[00:02:31]Because at any given time, if they exist, no matter what they do, regardless of how good it is, it will never be enough for people like you. And quite honestly, it's the older crowd that is acting so childish. It's the individuals who have a lot more years on this earth than everyone else that we would expect more from. But as time will tell and as time has proven, age does not equal maturity. So, I also welcome you to the find out portion of the game because that just ain't it.

So, they write, "Dr. Lincoln was a contracted care provider and not a member of our Northwest Permanent Medical Group. She has not provided services to our members since last October. We have notified her that her six-month contract ended today and that was posted today. Sorry, was posted yesterday. Can't keep up with my dates. So, that's some good news there, right? Okay. But I also wanted to discuss these two videos that um have since surfaced. Um I had to go digging a little, but we we we found them. These are abortion pills. Why is it that here in Portland, Oregon, I can help a friend get these? for as a physician I could prescribe them. But somehow magically here in Dallas, Texas, if I gave this out to a patient or I helped somebody, that would be a felony that could be punished by up to life in prison or $100,000 fine. So America, you tell me.

[00:04:03]>> No, it doesn't make sense how you can legally go around carrying, you know, prescription pills, not an actual pill bottle. Like you're not allowed to do that cuz like I can't even go around and travel with say if I had medication. I don't. But I'm just saying if I did without it being in an actual prescription a bottle with your name on it. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but um isn't that illegal? And then you bring them to, you know, what's supposed to be a very happy place. Um for families and kids, and here you are promoting what you're doing. Mhm. You are what we call a disgrace as a doctor.

[00:04:45]>> I'm going to be honest. When I first watched this situation, I just sat there, ladies and gentlemen, thinking like, how did we even get here?

[00:04:55]I mean, like seriously, how does someone go through years of medical training, became a doctor and that level of responsibility and then come out speaking like this in the public?

[00:05:09]Because for me, ladies and gentlemen, it's not even just about politics at that point. It's about judgment. You see, it's about stability. Because when I think of a doctor, I'm thinking of someone calm, someone rational, someone who can separate emotion from responsibility.

[00:05:30]That literal uh that's literally the kind of person that you trust when you uh when your life is on the line, ladies and gentlemen. And then I see this kind of behavior and I'm just thinking like, would I honestly feel comfortable sitting across from uh from this person as a patient?

[00:05:55]Since that video, I've received hundreds of hateful emails, death threats, people calling my workplace, coordinated fake one-star reviews of my book.

[00:06:02]>> Of course, is always I'm the real victim here, right? I'm the real victim for experiencing consequences of my actions.

[00:06:09]always >> messages containing Nazi slogans wishing my harm. But I've also heard from thousands of you with words of support, love, and solidarity. And that has meant everything on the professionalism argument that many of you have stated. I was not at work. I was a private citizen on my own time exercising my federally protected first amendment rights. But I want to address the specific claim that as a doctor, I should be held to a higher professionalism standard. Here's what I know as a doctor. I see every day what racism does to patients. I see what fear does to patients. I see what being targeted, surveiled, and being treated as less than human does to people's bodies and their health. This is not abstract to me. This is my clinical reality. So now, being a physician is not the reason I should stay silent. In fact, it's the reason I can't.

[00:06:53]Professionalism is exactly how this country silences the people who should be speaking up. It has harmed more patients than it has ever helped, and I refuse to let it silence me. Kaiser put out a statement stating that they let me go. What you should know is that I hadn't worked for them for six months and I had no intentions to do any future shifts with them. Their choice to make that announcement in that way at that moment says everything about their values which you can interpret as you will. Nothing about mine. To the people sending me messages filled with hate and Nazi slogans and wishing me harm. You are making my point for me. This is exactly why I cannot be quiet. ICE is separating families. Our government is working to dismantle democracy and I will not be silent. History is clear on this. Justice wins. Truth wins. Doesn't always happen fast and it's not always easy. But the people who stood on the right side of history were never the ones who stayed quiet just so they could seem professional. To everyone who has shown up for me, thank you. This is our fight, not just mine. And we're not done yet. Coordinated fake one-star reviews of my book. I'm pretty sure you can tell Amazon to turn off the reviews option when stuff like this is going down. So that delayed reaction is kind of on you.

If anything, it was calling for better respect of a group of people and messages containing Nazi slogans wishing my harm. Been there on the professionalism argument that many of you have stated. So, you probably would think that what Lexi Lawler said about a pregnant patient would be something okay to say. That's kind of what I'm getting because you feel like you can say whatever you want when you're off the clock. For those of you who don't know who Lexi Lawler is, she was a labor and delivery nurse in Florida who wished a grade four tear on Caroline Levit, hoped that she never [ __ ] normally again, and she subsequently ended up having her license suspended for wishing harm on a potential patient.

[00:09:05]>> Yes, healthcare professionals are held to a higher standard. Yes, you still have your freedom of speech, but you can do it without being a 5-year-old child.

[00:09:20]And what you were doing is having prejudice towards a certain group of people, ICE agents.

[00:09:31]>> So, you are verbalizing that you recognize these things and what they do to people's health. and you choose you made a conscious choice to go and do that same thing to another human being.

[00:09:48]>> So yes, it was calculated. You thought it through before you went and did it and you did it for the purpose that you did to practice prejudice to practice discrimination.

[00:09:57]>> So now being a physician is not the reason I should stay silent. In fact, it's the reason I can't. again. You have made every female federal ICE agent, federal agent scared to come seek care because of how you went and responded to these ICE agents.

[00:10:13]>> And let's talk about the claims that are being made here. I mean, some of these things uh that are being said are not just opinions. They are serious accusations, ladies and gentlemen.

[00:10:25]Because we talking about statements that uh if they were true uh uh they would be everywhere, right? Front page news, non-stop coverage, investigations, outrage, you know, the whole country would be on uh would be would be in chaos over it. But instead, it's just been thrown out there with no evidence, no specifics, nothing you can actually verify. And that's where I have a real problem because at some point, ladies and gentlemen, we've got to call things what they are. If you are making extreme claims without proof, that's not activism, folks. That's literal misinformation. You see, that's how people get hurt. That's how tensions rise for no reason, ladies and gentlemen. And it's even worse when it's coming from someone in a position of authority, someone people are supposed to trust.

And what even gets me is the attitude, ladies and gentlemen, because there's this level of confidence almost like um complete satnity while saying things that are not just that are not adding up. That's the part that's uh that is honestly concerning. Not just uh uh being wrong per se, because we all get things wrong right at some point, but being so convinced while being completely disconnected from reality.

[00:11:58]That's a concern, ladies and gentlemen.

[00:12:00]And it makes me even think about something deeper. Just because someone is highly educated, it doesn't automatically mean they have good judgment. It doesn't mean that they are grounded either. No, it doesn't mean they are they are immune to bias or instability.

[00:12:19]Yeah. Because I think that a lot of people they starting to realize that a degree is not the same thing as wisdom.

[00:12:25]Ladies and gentlemen, those two are different. Absolutely. And there's also the double standard. You know, because you see um these people who are perfectly calling others out, insulting them, trying to get them in trouble for their views, but the moment the spotlight turns on them, suddenly it's harassment. Suddenly, it's unfair.

[00:12:48]Suddenly, they are the victim. And I just can't take that seriously at all because you can't dish out uh and then act shocked when consequences show up.

[00:13:01]Doesn't work like that, ladies and gentlemen. No, because at the end of the day, ladies and gentlemen, actions have consequences. Words have consequences.

[00:13:10]Especially when you're representing a profession like medicine. Come on. This isn't just some random online argument.

[00:13:18]This is someone whose job is literally uh it involves people's health and safety. There has to be higher standards here. And I'm also going to say this ladies and gentlemen, if someone is showing this level of emotional instability in public, it's fair to ask.

[00:13:37]I mean, what what what it even looks like behind closed close the doors. How do they treat patients who disagree with them? for instance, are they able to stay professional? Are they able to separate personal beliefs from medical care? You know, those are those are not crazy questions to ask. Those are basic expectations, folks. And I find it interesting how certain narratives uh get pushed uh so aggressively even when they don't hold up under simple scrutiny. Yeah.

[00:14:12]It's like facts don't even matter anymore, ladies and gentlemen. You see?

[00:14:17]And what matters is how strongly something is said or or or or it's trending. You understand? Not whether it's actually true or not. That's a dangerous place for any society to be in, ladies and gentlemen. You see? And look, folks, I'm all for people having opinions. I'm all for free speech.

[00:14:38]Absolutely. Say what you want, right?

[00:14:41]But let's not pretend that there are no consequences. Even when you cross uh lines, you know, when you say something that crosses a line, especially when you are making serious accusations, especially when you are in a professional role and especially when your words can influence how people see others. Because at some point, folks, accountability has to exist, right? You can't just say anything, do anything, and then expect everything to stay the same. No, that's not how the real world works.

[00:15:15]And honestly, the bigger issue uh is what this represents. You see this feels like part of a bigger pattern where emotion is replacing logic where the uh where actually narratives they seem to be replacing facts where people are rewarded for being loud instead of being right. That's the part that has to concern everyone ladies and gentlemen.

[00:15:44]Yeah. Because when when people who are supposed uh to be trusted uh whether in the healthcare media or even anywhere else when they start operating like this it doesn't just affect the situation it affects confidence in the entire system ladies and gentlemen and once that trust is gone it's hard to get it back ladies and gentlemen and that is just a fact.
