I know it can be a a lot of times, I mean Who wants to feel sad?
Probably a lot of people, but feeling sad is a pretty common thing.
That's why I cry a lot or sing about sad things or or lay on the floor to [music] obsess over way of life's problems.
I'm really good at doing that.
What are some things that make [music] you feel sad?
Maybe you Maybe it's when you look at the wrong window when you're driving and miss the rainbow that everyone pointed at. Yeah, that's sad.
Or or when you when a friend moves away.
Oh, wow, that [music] one is really sad, too.
Or when you have been looking forward something and it ends up getting canceled. Oh, boy, boy, I hate when that happens.
Or how about when someone else eats your leftovers or when your dog dies in the movie when your toy you love breaks or uh no, here it goes.

Um pushing sadness away might make feel better in the moment, but it won't stay like that forever.
And I don't know, maybe if you like feeling your sadness.
Believe me, I know how great a long cry could feel can be though.
When you need one, I need one a lot.
Feeling sad Feeling sad isn't something to be afraid of, but it's also not something you want to [music] get stuck in.
When I'm not around my friends, I just want to lay on the floor all the time.
[music] Which sounds pretty nice right now, but I won't do it.
Because what's my help of the of my fellow emotions have learned their time and place for [music] big sadness.
Surrounding yourself with friends and reminders of joy or capital G [music] joy in my case, is so helpful.
So what >> [music] >> do you need when you feel sad?
Is it a hug, a walk, an honest conversation?
You can try listening to a really sad song. That one might just help you sleep.
Do you just need someone to sit next to you while you are sad? Maybe they can bring tissues for you or some ice cream.
That's always nice.
Here's the big thing.
I want you to know all emotions have an important place. We exist and we feel.

Sadness isn't an >> [music] >> easy thing.
I know this better than anyone.

When really you Do you know really she's a great kid?
She ran away from her new home because she was [music] missing her old home in Monstropolis.
When she came back she felt really sad.
And because [music] it I was there to help, she could tell her grown-ups about how hard things have been.
And you know what happened? Her grown-ups told they missed being in Monstropolis and that too.
Then then being sad together helped Riley know she wasn't alone.
And whenever she have she we have the chance to remind others and we remind ourselves that we are alone, everything feels a bit warmer and more hopeful.
