Angelina Kim effectively bridges the gap between casual reaction and thematic analysis, highlighting how the film’s narrative layers turn a spy thriller into a study of human vulnerability. Her commentary proves that even mainstream blockbusters offer rich material for those willing to look beyond the action.

My First Time Watching Casino Royale Was Insane... *Casino Royale (2006) Reaction*Added:
Welcome back. What's up, guys? It's Ang and today we are going to be watching Casino Royale. I asked you guys on a YouTube poll what James Bond like actor specific and era specific I should check out for the channel first. Um, and it doesn't mean that I'm never going to venture off to the other James Bonds like out there. What's so ironic is that I love the James Bond soundtrack. Like I literally listen to it while like working out and running. I like listening to movie soundtracks, okay?
And it's on there and I like it and it's just about time for me to watch James Bond. Okay, before we begin though, I just want to give a huge shout out to my VIPs for supporting the channel. These wonderful human beings. You guys are awesome. You guys keep the dream possible. And if you are interested in supporting the channel and getting access to my full length reactions, make sure you check out my Patreon page. The link will be in the description below.
All righty, y'all. Let's jump straight into the commentary.
When I say that this movie, specifically the like the Daniel Craig ones, when I say that this has been on my two watch list for years, like years for the channel, like literally since my first year of doing the commentary channel, I've wanted to watch this and I've just put it back back back prioritizing other franchises and I don't know why.
>> M really doesn't mind you earning a little money on the side. She'd just prefer it if it wasn't selling secrets.
>> Okay, black and white. Is this whole movie in black and white?
>> If was so sure I was bent, she'd have sent a double O. Benefits of being section chief. I'd have anyone being permitted a double O status.
>> File shows no kills and it takes two.
>> Oh, something tells me he has, too.
>> We barely got to know each other. I know where you keep your gun. You didn't notice that the magazine wasn't in your gun, idiot.
>> How did you die? Your contact. Not well.
>> Cuts back to him fighting. I love it. I love it. That's so good.
Wow. So grainy. Did they add the effect or did they like maybe even shoot this on film?
Oh, you drowned him in a sink, too. That must have been exhausting cuz that's a tiny tiny sink. So you're just like holding him down the whole time. Oh my gosh, your arm is probably sore.
>> You needn't worry. The second is >> Yes, considerably.
>> Wait, I'm dead.
So he's two.
Okay, intro.
My gosh, this is the early 2000s. So, we get intro credits.
This always happens when I watch an early 2000s film.
Judy Dench is in this movie. Yo, she kind of scares me, but I love her.
007 status confirmed. He just got his two kills based on a novel by Ian Fleming.
Am I stupid to assume that I didn't know that this was based on a novel? Did they also write that this was based on a novel in the Sean Connory run like in Dr. No. And I just didn't.
>> So, how do I trust this man that I've never met with my money?
>> You ask for the introduction. That's all my organization will guarantee.
>> Just me or does this guy look like he can be Daniel Craig's long-lost brother or maybe like a cousin?
>> I know this actor. Where do I know you from?
>> I want no risk in the portfolio and I can access it anywhere in the world.
>> Yes.
>> You know, long lost cousin Daniel Craig also looks like someone familiar. I just can't put my finger on it.
>> You must know you're betting against the market. No one expects this stock to go anywhere but up. Just do it.
>> Just do it. Nike. Hey, was that trademarked then?
He's on the move and he's heading straight for me.
>> Stop touching your ear.
>> Oh yeah, caught you red-handed.
>> Holster the bloody weapon, Carter. I need him alive.
>> Yo, he gave himself away because he was holding on to his earpiece.
>> Yo, that was kind of clean, not going to lie.
That too. Dang.
Man stole the bulldozer. I'm dead.
Recruit this guy FOR PHYSICAL 100. WHAT?
OH MY GOD. HE HE'S not real. He's not human. Spider-Man who?
Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh no. Oh no.
Oh. Now this place is definitely going down.
No. The way that I am shocked that they were able to just scale that.
Oh my gosh. Who is this guy?
Oh, work smarter, not harder. Am I right?
How is there anywhere else to go? Like, they're still moving. It's a construction site. Like, what?
Dang, you used your whole magazine. OH, OKAY. WAIT, but remember how you said you need him alive?
Don't knock him off. Oh shoot. Oh shoot.
Oh shoot. Oh. Oh. Oh my god. Oh my god.
Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
Yo, no way.
Okay, this guy's literally trained in parkour.
This guy has no fear, too. What? How did he just do that? He jumped to that.
You must have an iron grasp.
Like, do I think from that height I'd catch my body weight? Absolutely not.
Gravity alone. Oh. Ow. Bon still needs to train a little bit on his parkour.
Oh my gosh.
Okay. See, work smarter, not harder.
He's kind of popping off.
No, that was genuinely so cool. I'm stunned. I'm actually speechless. That sequence was insane.
Oh my gosh. He just single-handedly took down that place and he's going to disappear.
Run away, right?
And he took the backpack.
>> Oh, that is a bomb.
Um, your eye is bleeding, sir. Sir, are you okay? There's blood coming out of your eye.
Oh, that's the grandma or the mom or the grandma from Wendy Woo Homecoming Warrior.
>> We have less than 36 hours. I can go and >> No, no. Give our guests 5 minutes to leave or throw them overboard.
>> Government.
>> Oh, so Bon is a government agent.
>> Judy, Mrs. Dench.
>> And how the hell could Bon be so stupid?
I give him double status and he celebrates by shooting up an embassy. Is the man deranged?
>> Oh, she's the she's the top dog. Christ, I missed the Cold War.
>> Christ, I missed the Cold War is crazy.
Oh, okay. So, she's like Bon's uh boss.
Love it.
Well, obviously she uh he had a reason to blow up the embassy. Maybe it wasn't his ideal way of doing things. Sure. But he had to get out of there somehow.
>> You've got a bloody cheek.
>> I'll shoot the camera first next time.
>> We wanted to question him. Not for killing.
>> That's why they were showing the shots of the camera.
>> And how the hell did you find out where I live?
>> Same way I found out your name. I thought M was a randomly assigned letter. I had no idea it stood for >> utter one more syllable and I'll have you killed. I knew it was too early to promote you.
>> Yeah, he's kind of a smartass.
>> Well, I understand double O's have a very short life expectancy, so your mistake will be shortlived.
>> He's like, don't worry. I I don't plan on living for a long time.
>> I have to know I can trust you and that you know who to trust. And since I don't know that, I need you out of my sight.
>> Damn.
I like how this is starting. We're kind of seeing that he has to kind of prove himself. He's sloppy, but he's very arrogant, egotistical.
>> Don't ever break into my house again.
>> Yeah, true. Disrespectful, might I add.
Okay. Ford product placement.
>> Uh, taking note of the cameras. Are you going to take this or make me wait?
>> Certainly, sir.
>> That's a nice car, too.
>> Uh, there's a lot of nice freaking cars in this lot.
I'm dead. Yo, he is way too emotional to be an agent. Just me. He does not give a damn.
Oh, he did it on purpose.
He caused a distraction so that security can go and check up and then he could Oh, that's so smart. Wow. I did not see what he was cooking there. I was like, "Oh, he felt insulted, so he ruined the guy's car." No, I was way deeper than that. Duh. I should have Got it. So that's who he's looking for.
>> Could you do me a favor? I was here for dinner last night and I parked my car next to a very beautiful 1964 Aston Martin. And I'm ashamed to say I nicked the door. You wouldn't happen to know.
>> Mr. Demetrius, if he hasn't noticed, I'm not sure I'd mention it.
>> But if I felt compelled to find him.
>> He has a house just up the beach.
>> Thank you, >> girl. I'm sure you were not supposed to disclose that information.
Oh, we just casually horse riding though.
>> Oh, that's your guy. That was awfully convenient. All she said was just up the beach.
>> He's in the Bahamas.
>> Who's he looking at?
>> Alex Demetrios.
>> That slimy bugger. I love how he's just doing this under his own like prerogative even though he works for Judy Denture's character >> now known associates.
>> I'm sure he knows that he's being watched though, right? Like I'm sure it's for the greater good. I believe in you Bond she so much intrigue. I love when movies do this. They just kind of throw you into it and like they just expect you to catch along, follow along as they show you.
>> You want to join? Good evening.
>> Good evening.
>> Small blind, big blind.
>> If that was for luck, you're two hours late.
>> Oh, >> okay. Sorry. My bad.
>> All in 20,000.
>> Table stakes. I'm sorry, sir.
>> This is on the table. That's my car.
>> All right. Show me, gentlemen.
>> Three kings.
>> Trip aces.
>> There was an ace.
Oh, and the valet ticket.
>> Yo, you just won his car. Yo, uh, maybe you have a gambling problem. All in, though. Who would have known this guy would have three aces?
>> Thank you. Thank you, sir.
>> Can I give you a lift home?
>> That would really send him over the edge. I'm afraid I'm not that cruel.
>> Well, perhaps you just out of practice.
>> Yo, he's trying to steal his lady, too.
Perhaps.
>> What about a drink at my place?
>> Is it close? Very >> girl, you really going to go with the man that just took your husband's car?
Well, I'm assuming it's a car. I mean, sorry, what? I'm assuming he's your husband.
>> Good evening, sir, and welcome back.
>> That's pretty funny, not going to lie.
>> Oh. Oh, they're on the floor. Oh my gosh.
>> You like married women?
She is married.
Girl, what are you doing with this guy?
He just stole your husband's car.
>> I had so many chances to be happy. Why can't nice less guys be more like you?
>> Oh, with a lot of money.
>> What makes your husband a bad man?
>> His nature, I suppose.
>> The nature of his work.
>> A mystery.
>> You don't know what your husband does for work.
>> You sleep with me in order to get to him.
>> How afraid.
>> Not enough to stop.
Good. Because that's why I'm sleeping with you probably. Like I just stole his money and his car and now she must know that she's being used, right?
>> Apparently is on the last flight to Miami.
>> What?
>> So you have all night to question me.
>> First of all, how does he even have money to I guess it was just all the money that he brought to the casino, huh? To the game.
>> The beluga caviar. No, for one. Yeah, no evidence of tinkering here. Tinkering is not the right word, but you know, scheming, I guess. Yeah, no evidence of scheming for one. Duh.
Oh.
Oh, and it's going to be left at that table. Steal it. Steal it.
Oh, he noticed you.
Yo, they're trying so hard not to make a scene.
>> I believe it is something very >> Yo, that's literally too easy for him.
And it's gone. You should have taken it.
Well, I guess maybe he was going to, but he got caught. You're right. You're right. Sorry. My bad. Oh, and the duffel bag. Okay, so this guy checked out of there in two seconds with his bag.
Oh, so now you know who it is.
>> Hello.
>> Perfect. Smart.
>> What could be in the bag?
It must be able to go through security.
>> Wait, how did he know? Low key.
It's a disguise. A change of clothes.
Yo, no way you were able to find. I guess he is trained to think that he would change his clothes and stuff like that.
Ellipse. Got it.
Okay.
>> The Skyfleet S570 prototype. Largest airplane in the world being unveiled today at Miami airport.
>> And they're going to try to blow it.
Huh.
Sprinkler override.
Okay. So, Bond, when you get this guy, try not to kill him this time so we CAN ACTUALLY FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS terrorist group.
>> His target is the Skyfleet prototype.
It's launching today.
>> I got to go.
>> Okay. Good info. Good info.
>> You're kidding. Is that Is that it? No, that's a tracker. Is that it?
Oh, no. That's it. That's literally it because that's on a highly flammable truck. I didn't even see that. That was a truck.
It doesn't even need to be a bomb at that point because the truck itself is the bomb. It's got so much fuel in that thing.
Intercept that is.
Uh-oh.
Not him casually running after a truck.
Yeah. How much training did Daniel Craig have to go through?
Oh my god.
I guess there's been no breach.
Damn. It literally went into a bus.
No, no, no. Oh no. Oh my god.
Okay, now there is fuel just spewing out onto the onto the runway. That's good.
And a plane is landing.
Is the trigger his phone? Stop the car, gone.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
And the break doesn't work.
Steer it away. Steer it away.
Uh, get out of the truck ASAP, Rocky.
Please go get your guy.
Dude, are you kidding? I mean, there's literally no time to explain that I literally just saved your asses.
It's Is it still on the truck?
>> Nice. It's on him.
10 out of 10. Can't explode un if it doesn't have its little trigger.
>> She was tortured first as you'd already killed her husband. She must have been the only one left to question.
>> Do you know anything that could compromise you?
>> No.
>> Oh my gosh. I was just coordinating with JJ. Who's picking up JJ? Uh, who's picking up my son from daycare? Bond, you're a little sloppy, not going to lie.
>> Ow.
>> Dude, you've been like kicked and punched and thrown from things and a needle hurts you.
>> So you can keep an eye on me?
>> Yes.
>> I mean, I understand why.
>> You want him alive? The Shifra doesn't have 100 million to lose. Has >> he been playing the stock market with his client's funds? Not going to be too happy when they find out it's gone.
>> Dang.
Dang.
Okay. So, I like how we get like kind of all the pieces in the puzzle as they're finding it out and then we got a little recap here and a little moment of relief after so much high in intensity action.
Um, wow. Fun.
>> I'm the money.
>> Huh?
>> Every penny of it.
>> The Treasury has agreed to stake you in the game. 10 million was wired to your account in Montenegro.
>> You don't think this is a very good plan, do you? I got the impression we were risking millions of dollars and hundreds of lives on a game of luck.
>> I don't think poker is luck, per se.
There's definitely some chance to it, but I think you need to have a a level of skill with poker, for sure.
>> True, but this one overcompensates by wearing slightly masculine clothing.
Being more aggressive than her female colleagues makes it less likely for her to be accepted and promoted by her male superiors who mistake her insecurities for arrogance. You see, by the way, you ignored the quip about your parents, I'm going to have to get with orphan.
>> Is he right? My guess is you didn't come from money and your school friends never let you forget it. Which means you were at that school by the grace of someone else's charity. And since your first thought about me read to orphan, that's what I'd say you are.
>> True.
>> Oh, you are. Now, having just met you, I wouldn't go as far as calling you a cold-hearted bastard.
>> But close.
>> You think of women as disposable pleasures rather than meaningful pursuits.
>> Very true. Very true.
>> So, as charming as you are, Mr. bonds. I will be keeping my eye on our government's money and of your perfectly formed house.
>> You noticed.
>> He took that as a compliment.
>> I would too. Honestly, I wish my butt was perfectly formed.
>> Is the bone that's left for you?
>> Thank you.
>> Oh, boy.
>> I love you, too.
>> Whoa. Whoa. Oh, >> I need you looking fabulous so that when you walk up behind me and kiss me on the neck, the players across from me will be thinking about your neckline and not about their cards.
>> I'll do my best.
>> I will, but I won't feel great about doing it.
>> And you must be Mr. Bliss's replacement.
Welcome, Mr. Beach. Or is that B? I'm a little confused.
>> Well, we wouldn't want that, would we?
>> Yeah, he doesn't care that he knows your that you know his name and he's not intimidated at all. It's a mind game, just like poker. I love it.
>> Mr. Kamino is the small blind $5,000 and Mr. Fukutu the big blind $10,000.
>> Imagine having this much money to play in poker. Like what do you guys do?
>> Pet $50,000.
Call >> so intense.
>> Pet 200,000.
You have been called a full house to Mr. Leifer. Deuce is full of nines. Mr. One fold.
>> This is going to be a long night.
>> It was worth it to discover his tail into which he has to hide when he bluffs.
>> Bluffs. He had the best hand.
>> But he got on the last card.
>> Yeah, he didn't have it at first. What was his tell? The finger.
>> Oh, who are you?
>> So what? What's so damn important?
>> She just misses you.
Where is my money?
>> Yo, that job scared me real good.
>> You can lose that kind OF MONEY AND NO ONE WOULD NOTICE.
>> Your money is safe.
>> Is he trying to win it back right now?
>> I would take a hand for this betrayal, but you need it to blink out.
>> Hold out your arm.
>> Yos. She's about to lose an a hand for this.
She screamed real loud, too.
The earpiece is showing.
Oh my gosh, they noticed. They professionals.
Can't be too safe. Oh my gosh, he really fell all the way down.
Oh my god.
>> Yo, machete is crazy though.
>> Go find Matthews. Tell him I've hidden the bodies down here and I want him to get rid of them.
>> She's like, I was not trained for this.
Oh my gosh. How much time do you even have left to get back to the game?
Oh, she is not doing well probably, right?
She's like, I didn't sign up for this.
I'm just the money. I have never witnessed people die in front of my eyes.
>> It's like there's blood on my hands.
It's all coming off.
>> You didn't do nothing. I I killed them.
It was pretty traumatic, though. I would also be like stunned.
Oh.
A but I kind of like what they were trying to do. Like obviously it's weird that she's sitting in there with her clothes, but she probably felt like so dirty and so wrong for like those guys dying. You know what I mean? Not that she killed them, but she was there and she's part of the whole thing. She probably felt like she wanted to kind of wash that off of her. So she went into the shower.
>> Bet 500,000.
>> That's his tail, right? the hand on his temples.
>> Raise 1 million.
>> Lot of money to gamble.
>> We raise 2 million. Well, it's 14 million and 500,000. It's up to you, Mr. Bond.
>> Uh, dude, I that's a lot to bet.
>> Cool. Cool.
>> It's a lot to risk, >> gentlemen. Show down, please.
>> It's four checks. Mr. Leif wins.
You wish I thought I was bluffing. Mr. Bart, >> please. We will now break for 1 hour.
>> So, did he lose everything? No way. See, that's not what I thought. Uh, that's not what I uh, you know, I uh, Dude, you shouldn't have done that.
>> Well, I need the other 5 million to buy back in.
>> You lost because of your ego. All you're going to do now is lose more.
>> Well, then you're an idiot.
>> I'm sorry.
>> I said you're a bloody idiot. Yeah, well, you have to go for the 5 million.
After that, maybe consider >> I can beat this man. You know that.
>> Give him the 5 million. I'm sorry. I know it's like part of the government, probably tax payables, pay his buddies.
Like, I get it. It's like ethically not right to place all that money in this guy's hands to maybe win it back. But at the same time, like, hello, you have to give him a chance.
>> Listen, I'm bleeding chips. I'm not going to last much longer. You have a better chance. I'll stake you.
>> Just one thing. If you pull it off, the CIA bring him in.
>> And what about the winnings?
>> Does it look like we need the money?
>> Wait, stop. No way. So, he's buying in from this guy. So, he's from the US and the US is trying to get him down.
>> Should we up the blind?
>> Why not bet raise?
>> Well, now you can't base it off of that.
tell he could be bluffing then like I don't know. Oh, he folded. He did mess it up.
That's funny.
>> Fold.
>> So, something was put in his drink from uh this blonde chick, huh? God, what did they do to him?
>> Deal, man.
Oh, like was it poison?
Oh, you were losing it.
Salt, water, spinning, chugging. Don't know what that's going to do.
Okay. Oh my gosh. You're walking into ongoing traffic.
>> Okay. Is that an antidote or something?
Von's been poisoned. He's going into cardiac arrest.
>> Cardiac arrest.
>> Remove the defibrillator from the pouch.
>> That's what that was.
>> Take the blue combi pen. Bond. Midneck into the vein.
Push the red button now. Bond.
>> Is it cuz it didn't read?
It wasn't plugged in.
>> Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my Got him. We got him. We got him. Oh, thank god the home girl followed him. Hurry up. Hurry up.
Oh my gosh. No time to waste.
>> Yeah, you casually died. You casually died. Uh, I just brought you back to life. You're welcome.
>> You okay?
>> Me?
>> Am I okay?
Am I okay? AM I OKAY? AM I OKAY? HE REALLY ASKED ME IF I WAS OKAY, DUDE.
Did >> you're not seriously going back there?
>> I wouldn't dream of that.
>> And he's about to go back and play.
>> Just these two left.
>> That lost hand nearly killed me.
>> All in. 6 million.
>> 5 million. All in.
>> He's going to raise >> 12 million.
>> I hope when he wins he actually does nothing. Like he he actually has nothing but he outluffs him or something.
>> 40,500,000 all in. raising >> pair.
>> Well, I think I will call you on that one.
>> I hire a full house.
>> Oh, >> five and seven of spades. A straight FL >> your pond wins. It's all yours. Much appreciated, brother.
>> CIA gets him.
>> Matthysse needs me. Congratulations again, >> Matthysse.
>> What about Matthysse? Is he shady? What?
What is going on?
Oh, yo, he called it.
Yo, he's got a good movie run. I feel like you got to train for that cuz sometimes people look silly running in movies. Running is like kind of uh unnatural looking and not badass looking to be honest.
Oh my god.
Did they actually flip the car for this?
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
They flipped a car, right? It's James Bond.
Really? Really?
>> I'm afraid your friend Matthysse is really my friend Matthysse.
>> Oh, I got that.
>> I never understood all these elaborate tortures. It's the simplest thing to cause more pain than a man can possibly enjoy.
>> Miss Lynn will give me the account number if she hasn't already. So, all I need from you is the password.
>> Yo, so she's getting tortured, too. I've gotten a lich down there. Would you mind?
>> He's not going to let up.
>> NO. TO THE RIGHT. TO THE RIGHT.
>> YEAH.
>> Oh god.
>> Now the whole world's going to know that you died scratching my balls.
>> I died. Yes. Cuz no matter what you do, I'm not going to give you the password.
Which means your clients are going to hunt you down and cut you into little pieces of meat while you're still breathing.
>> That is true.
>> Give me the password.
>> No.
>> And I would at least let her live.
>> No. You guys both got to die for the cause.
>> Let's go.
You're done. Zo, dude. Come on. You want to die with me?
>> Tell them I I'll get the money.
>> Money isn't as valuable to our organization as knowing who to trust.
GG's, dude. Bon totally called you out.
He totally said what? What happened?
>> Any ideas why they left the two of you alive? Get a look at the killer.
>> No. Anything else you remember? Anything that can help us or help you?
>> Yeah. Wait, I'm genuinely confused.
Oh, there we go. Traitor. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was about time that he was get going to get found out, right?
Man's double double crossing. Jeez, I was going to say how they just let him into the side of Bon's bed.
>> You're right.
>> I can't resist waking you. Every time I do, you look at me as if you haven't seen me in years. Makes me feel reborn.
>> A wa what a line.
>> If you'd just been born, wouldn't you be naked?
>> You can have me anywhere.
Oh, >> does this mean that you're warming to me?
>> Yeah, that's how I would describe it.
>> I mean, come on. Even she can't resist your bond, flirtation, uh, charisma, etc. >> I do not mean to rush, but 120 million is a large sum of money. It >> certainly is >> right.
>> If you would type in the account number.
>> Why does it seem like a little too easy?
>> And now the password. You can do that.
>> I would if I knew what it was. V E S P E R.
>> Ah, six digit.
>> The funds have been transferred.
>> I just want you to know that if all there was left of you was your smile and your little finger, you'd still be more of a man than anyone I've ever met.
>> Why do you look like that then?
>> That's because you know what I can do with my little finger.
>> Oh. Oh.
>> Put your armor back on.
>> Yep.
>> Yep.
>> I have no armor left. That's a lie.
>> You stripped it from me.
>> That's also That's just a lie for sure.
>> Whatever is left of me, whatever I am, I'm yours.
>> Don't fall for that.
You don't believe him, right? I mean, if he means it, it's romantic. But like in in real life, uh if you're a home girl, keep your guard up a little bit.
>> Does everyone have a tell?
>> Yes, everyone except you. I wonder if that's why I love you.
>> You love me? You love me.
>> Wait, Jinx.
>> Enough to quit and float around the world with you until one of us has to find an honest job. But I think that's going to have to be you because I have no idea what an honest job is.
>> You're going to quit being 007?
>> I'm leaving with what little I have left. Is that enough for you?
>> Really?
Oh my gosh.
You didn't tell me that Bond was a romantic.
Dang, he really emailed his resignation.
All right, come on. But we know he's not actually resigned because there's like how many more movies, right?
>> Oh, why is that guy so creepy?
>> I'll see you back here in half an hour.
>> Oh, she's dunzo. It's happening this movie. It's happening this movie 100%.
Right now, I have a lovely man from the treasury here wondering if you're ever going to deposit the winnings.
>> That's a shame. I didn't think they'd miss it.
Sir, you'll be depositing it today.
>> On my way to the bank right now.
>> No.
No.
No.
What?
>> It appears the funds are being withdrawn as we speak.
>> You're kidding.
>> The Venice branch, of course, St. Mark's Square.
>> You're kidding me.
>> Is there a problem, Mr. Bond?
Not the triple quadruple turnound twist of a century.
No wonder why she doesn't have a tell.
She was locked in.
Locked in.
Oh my god.
You had me. You actually had me.
Oh, this guy from the river.
I'm kill.
>> Allow me.
>> Oh, she really said I was about to kill you.
Okay. Yeah. So, this looks like it was completely someone different. I can't tell who was behind the glasses to be honest. I mean, it's completely different group. She had to wait for me to recover, too. Like, dang.
He really said, "I love you. I'll give you my soul and you just took all his money just like that." I don't believe in love anymore.
Why am I confused as to what this place is? Oh, have you guys ever been to Venice before? Let me know in the comment section below. I've been there once and it was incredible. Oh.
I'm still confused as to the architecture of this building.
Someone explain to me all this.
>> Dude, this movie is like action sequences so good.
Oh.
Oh, what a way to go.
Sayanara, he's going to save her cuz he's nice.
You have anything to say to me?
>> I'm sorry, James.
Oh, okay. Maybe she was truly star sorry then morally she's like just leave me.
Oh god.
Oh.
Oh GG's.
Oh, he got it open. Yo, Loki, is he going to get her?
Okay, if it weren't for that moment though, we wouldn't have never like have redeemed her, right? We wouldn't have forgiven her. We would have been like, "Uh, you betrayed me, girl."
That's so sad.
How did you get that?
Literally, how did you get that? Oh my gosh. So, the money still ended up on whoever's phone.
>> She had a boyfriend, a French Algerian.
He was kidnapped by the organization behind Leashie.
>> And they blackmailed her, threatening to kill him unless she cooperated.
>> Oh my god.
>> We should have picked up on it, but sometimes we're so focused on our enemies, we forget to watch our friends.
>> Yo, you're kidding me. He >> She left her cell phone. She must have known I'd check it.
>> Well, at least this clears Matthysse.
>> No.
>> We just proved that she's guilty, not that he's innocent.
>> You don't trust anyone, do you, James?
>> No.
>> Does this act? No, I don't think this clears Matthysse, per se.
>> Did you ever ask yourself why you weren't killed that night?
>> Isn't it obvious? She made a deal to spare your life in exchange for the money. I'm sure she hoped they would let her live.
>> But she must have known she was going to her death.
>> Dang, she did know.
>> And now we'll never know who was behind this. The trail's gone cold.
>> Dang. So all of that for nothing because the the guy who was working with the guy is still there.
They still ended up with 120. That guy was just the one that died. He was just like the front man. That's so sad. So is the next movie going to continue on with this plotline? Like the guy who ended up with the suitcase? She left a message for James, Mr. White. So then, did her husband not make it either? Yo, the writing sometimes like the thing the Wow.
Oh, I'm just kidding. This isn't setting up for the sequel. She gave him the info to try to take down this man, and she sacrificed her life ON IT, KNOWING THAT JAMES BOND WAS GOING TO ABLE TO TAKE THIS GUY DOWN. RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT. I want to I want to know that she didn't die in vain.
>> Mr. White, we need to talk.
>> WHO IS THIS?
>> OH, THAT SCARED the poop out OF ME. OH, SHE DID. POP OFF, VASPER.
>> The name's Bond. James Bond.
>> Yo, that was cool.
>> That was epic. The way they they ended it like that. They ended it like that.
You kidding me?
What?
That was so good. That was so good. I'm depriving myself of not watching these movies.
What? That got to keep my cool a little bit. Got to chill. That was incredible. What fantastic writing. Like, how do humans, how do we have brains that can just tell stories like this? God, this was so good. It was intense. It was action-packed. It was charismatic and flirty and sexy, but at the same time, it was so like brutal and like heartache and but so satisfying at the end because he was able to take down the guy that stole the suitcase, but only because she literally gave her She knew that she was dying. Like she knew she had to because either way it's going to trace back to her. Like if Bon wasn't able to fully get Mr. White, then it was going to trace back to her. She knew that she was done for. Like she knew that her her husband Well, hopefully hopefully the husband's not dead or the guy that she loves or whatever. And like maybe Bon would be able to save him, but like who knows?
Who knows? No wonder why he fell for her. She was a taken lady. Dang. Oh my gosh. She Oh, that was so good. That twist though, I couldn't I could I should have seen it from a mile away. I I mean I maybe I maybe it's because they was done so well, but like I just thought she was going to be like, "Okay, yeah, she works for the treasury. Cool."
And she I don't it just made it's to me I was just like, "Yeah, she's just the love interest. She's just the love interest. She works for the treasury.
She's not going to give him the money, which is like she was block the fact that she wasn't going to let him buy in.
She wasn't going to give him the extra 5 million to buy buy in. That makes so much sense now. That literally makes so much sense. I understand. I I get it because obviously she wanted Bond to lose cuz then he would have gone the money, the other guy, cuz he was winning. However, because Bond won, they had to resort to plan B, I guess, right?
Plan B being all right, win his heart, get the money somehow. So, she stayed on his bedside, aided him. That's why we didn't see her get tortured cuz she wasn't really getting tortured. She was probably acting or I mean technically she was probably tortured the whole time cuz she had to freaking her husband or her lover was taken. Oh my gosh. Wow.
That was really great writing. I can't believe it took me so long to to watch.
I'm I really want to continue on with the this franchise. That was so good.
