Cold Morning, Hungry Cockatoos, Pure Bird Chaos!

a dove poor Dove hey van good to hear we got this one down here cleaning up and this is our little friend from yesterday I think is's back here this guy here see the feet are dark here and on this one the feet are gray oh it is a fresh morning today in Melbourne there's a bit of a toot so you can see down here still a bit of fog to clear this morning and we've got our young one up here up top doing all the tooting hey Leon great to have you on hey de the sun is out on these guys they look amazing in the light and Leon I'm not sure up your way but um yeah zero here I think we'll do a couple more cold ones before the rain comes this week but I haven't had many chances to show these guys in the sunshine whoa that's Henry just doing laps look at that whoa look at those crests up hey summer we got some serious swooping going on here and see if we can see where from oh know he's moved now from the gum trees is at the highest point in the gum trees now these guys in the feeder look this one here one core up oh poor thing cuz it's so cold yeah I think Smokey's here for sure isn't it Smokey lollipop I think right here he Smokey we'll find out if I bring seed out who comes fasce hey sain guys they're having a party down there yeah just saying summer is it late where you are I always seem to be talking while I'm shivering so I haven't worked that part out yet maybe we just need a bit of Summer yeah look at this I have to get some seed I feel for the guys on one leg bit of a toot from the tree when they all sit in a tree to me it looks like Christmas ornaments you can't really see there but um the sun is on them they're all in different spots of the tree all staring at me so we'll get them a little bit of seed this one here so patient come on there you go when they're shy that one there is very is quite young so we'll put some seed down wow they nearly sweeping themselves in sometimes they land with a thud oh careful this one in front I think it's got Beacon feather it's a baby so I'll have to disinfect everything afterwards yeah I really feel for these ones when I get it whoa nearly fell forwards that one doing laps look beautiful in the sunshine yeah it looks like one of them's got Beacon feather disease the one in the background here he's lost his feathers on his head and it's a baby actually and we just don't want this to spread hey Sam great to have you on board we've dished up another cool morning in Melbourne we've had the mag High uh swooping but they can't clear the flock so I think they'll come a bit later but we've got the Sun up and it's going to be a look at these two wow see down here landed landed on my foot bit clumsy wow newly karate kick then oh look over here hanging upside down whoa I think cuz there's ice on the rail this one came in and just did a big slide but um yeah I can't see Smoky popcorn's not here so oh look at that look reaching for something they know it's there whoa they're pretty strong whoa more sweeping there we go right above my head see if we can get them now you can't see there up in the top of the gum tree as you can see here the ice isn't as bad but it is icy all the way along and it makes it really slippery for these guys hello yeah this guy here is really shy not shy enough to get seed though was funny I heard some ducks in the background then look at this guy down here look just hanging on I don't know what's going on but what's Happening Here was hanging upside down on the fence look hello yeah I can summer yeah yeah if they lose their leaves um I've got a friend here who has a cage doesn't have a bird had one years ago and um yeah we just borrow her cage and we take him to the vet and it's really sad it's a sad day when that happens but we've got to look after these guys see what's happening behind me down here he doing a bit of gardening before who sometimes they scare themselves I think look at that in the light so beautiful I am hearing a lot of Mag pies behind me I don't know if they're ganging up or something and this one here it's been swinging around on the tree ah it's a raven whoa The Raven just sweeped above so they're all having a go oh here we go Henry's we're you know we're respectful both ways and I don't you know pick them up or anything like that but they can come here get some water um a little bit of seed especially in summer they need the water and they're pretty comfortable being around here we' made friends with a few of these guys he's just going around round it's like dancing I think down here this is the Dance Floor just need a bit of music don't we see how heavy they are when they hit the when they hit the floor there's a real bang to it see the faces you can see on here they like putting that Crest up don't they the faces dirty so they've had their face um in the grass in the bottom of the valley we've got paddocks here and they just graze in the grass and E the Grassroots but at the moment they're also getting into the gum trees yeah yeah good call Al it's funny isn't it El love to play with a cardboard box so you can see here they've had a good go at it right can't do much harm to that so they play with the cardboard box they play play with the pole and swing all day on that and um yeah sometimes I put seeds in Little Boxes and they have a bit of fun but I just don't want them to um you get into fights though so long as it's a play long as it's fun we're all cool and sometimes they just want a safe little place to perch cuz these guys are away from the flock and there's a lot of competition in the flock he knows I'm talking about him that face Henry sweeping everyone again look at that very alert a good tips yeah cheers summer you know these guys don't ask for anything in return and they're always loyal very trusting bit of a sneeze in the cold you go Henry whoa he is just keeping these guys honest he's such a skinny dude right but he just rules this territory think this one here is qu quite relaxed
