Severe Thunderstorms, Repeat Downpours To Soak Central States - Special Sky Show Tonight!Added:
Good evening, folks. It's Diamond with the Oppenheimer Ranch project in Magnetic Reversal News bringing you a magnetic excursion update Saturday, May 30th around 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time 2026. We've got a special sky show tonight.
Go out and look up. This is the first blue moon. It's going to be a blue micro moon and a parade of planets. We also have severe weather moving through the central US. So, buckle up and keep calm.
It's boom time.
Speaking of boom, Colorado's approaching monsoon boom season and El Niño conditions create hope for above normal rainfall.
Cross your fingers, kids.
And we've got severe weather threats, severe thunderstorms and repeat downpours soaking central states. An active pattern will set up across the plains featuring round after round of strong to severe thunderstorms that could result in hail damage, travel delays, damaging wind localized flooding. Here is severe threat in the northern plains through Saturday evening, Rapid City to down towards North Platte and that threat goes all the way down into Kansas through Wichita.
On Sunday afternoon, the threat shrinks a little bit just up in the northern plains here, but heed the warnings as we have multiple tornado warnings and watches happening right now. Tornado warning in Colorado, Phillips and Sedgwick and Nebraska.
Lincoln counties. We've got multiple severe thunderstorm warnings in Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas as well as Arkansas and Montana.

And now the full forecast. Severe thunderstorms in West Texas, heavy rainfall in the Southeast US.
We've got scattered strong to severe storms capable of sporadic large hail and severe winds expected this afternoon and evening across portions of West Texas. Widespread showers and thunderstorms may produce isolated flash flooding across the Ozarks and the Southeast into next week. And you can see that area we showed you the tornado warnings and watches and severe weather watches all those counties are lit up in pink and yellow and orange.

Pretty much spring-like weather.

Yeah, up in Montana there through the first week of June, areas in the purple are going to be saturated.

You got a little bit of snow through mid-June and then that'll come to an end.
Seismic update. No real quicks of note.
Low-level activity worldwide actually.
And that brings us to worldwide volcano news. Here is the map of erupting volcanoes worldwide.
And for the day, we've got Putana, 17,000 ft blast there. Sporadic emissions to 22,000 ft at Sabancaya.
Popo puffing and passing. FUEGO TO 16,000. SUWANOSEJIMA, 8,000 ft blast there. Turrialba, volcanic ash. Possible volcanic ash at Reventador. Myon, puffing in passing.
Ibu to 7,000 ft. Semeru, who knew? Now you do. 15,000 ft blast there. An eruption at Brad Ache, Fuego, possible volcanic ash, volcanic cloud moving southwest to 19,000 ft at Popo.
What else do we got? The Central Bismarck Sea continues to erupt there.
10,000 ft.
Sabancaya to 22,000 and Ibu wrapping up the list. Nope. 7,000 ft blast there at Ibu. Possible volcanic ash at Turrialba.
And Semeru to 15,000 ft wraps up the list for the day.

And many are now saying it's a meteor that blew up in midair. So, that's a big story going around. And that brings us to space weather. We've got a coronal hole facing Earth.
In about a day, some sunspots that are visible, but no flaring of any significance. Three-day geomagnetic forecast is for all quiet.
And like we said at the outset, special sky show, the first blue moon in years arrives with a parade of planets. Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus.
