Crack in chemical tank helps prevent catastrophic explosion

[00:00:00]Well, officials in Orange County say that there is no longer a threat of a catastrophic explosion at a chemical tank in Garden Grove. Concerns have been building all weekend over an overheating tank at an aerospace facility. A confirmed crack in the top of a massive 7,000galon tank has allowed that pressure to be released without disturbing the toxic and flammable chemical inside. Officials also say the chemical inside is no longer heating into a vapor and that could explode. it is cooling and instead turning into a solid. But even with the worst case scenario off the table, this situation is far from over.
