For effective GLP-1 injections, rotate injection sites (back of arm, belly button area, top of thighs) to prevent scar tissue and maintain absorption rates; on injection day, stay hydrated, eat a high-protein meal, and take a 30-minute walk to help with side effects like nausea and constipation; use the clip method to ensure injection into fat tissue, use separate alcohol swabs for vial and skin, and leave the needle in for 5 seconds after injection.

GLP1 INJECTION DAY: What you SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT do!Added:
take my GLP-1 injection with me. I'm going to show you guys the easiest way to do the back of your arm by yourself.
If you're new here, hi, my name is Britney. I've lost 115 lbs on a GLP1 and I am now in maintenance. I've been in maintenance for about a year. So, it took me 2 years to lose all of the 115 and I've been maintaining pretty much ever since then. Um, and here I created this channel surrounding relatability and support and encouragement and all the things that you would like to see in the GLP1 space without any of the judgment or fear or biases. So, if that interests you, we would love to have you subscribe and stick around and join the free encouragement Facebook group which is always linked down below. We have a lot of fun over there. There's a lot of great people over there that glean information and share and encourage and support and it's just the best. I also have linked down below where I get my compounded GLP1s from, which I'm obviously going to be sharing with you today. But Belle is where I currently am getting my stuff from, all of my peptides, and my trappeptide. So, I wanted to make this video specifically because I've been getting a lot of questions lately about injection sites, why it's good to rotate them, things that you should or shouldn't do on your injection day. So, we're just going to kind of go over it all as I'm giving myself my weekly Tzepide shot. Now, I'm actually going to do my s my smearin as well. Um, might as well just go ahead and get it out of the way before I uh go to the pool cuz that's where I'm headed after this. So, to start off, like I said, I've been doing this for like 3 years. So, at this point, I don't have any fear surrounding needles or giving myself an injection, but I absolutely understand that a lot of people do. And so, I hope that this video will provide you some like comfort and knowing that it's not that bad. If we can get over the fear of doing it, it really is worth it tfold. Now, the three most common injection sites for your JLP1 are the three sites that you could choose from are the back of your arm around your belly button, like 2 in out all the way around, and the top of your thighs. And the reason that those are the best areas is because they have been proven to have the best absorption rates for JLP1s. I actually did an entire video on that, on absorption rates of the different sites and which one works better. um that I will try to remember to link below, but if not, I posted it. It's on this channel a couple of months ago. Um but other areas like your glutes and I mean, where else would you even put it? Like other areas that typically like, you know, they do testosterone injections in your glutes have just not proven to have as good absorption for GLP-1 use. So those are the three sites and it is recommended that you rotate through those sites. And the reason for that is because if you do your left thigh over and over and over again, um what will happen is scar tissue will start to develop and you will damage the cells in that fatty tissue area so that the absorption won't be as good anymore. So it's a really good idea to rotate through your injection sites. Um for me personally, I kind of go on a kick where I do my thighs for a while. I'll go back and forth for a couple of months, then I'll move to my stomach for a couple of months, then I'll move to my arm, and then I'll start the whole process over.
I do like to rotate, though. And it is really important that you rotate your sights. So, I like to keep my needles and my alcohol swabs in my little bell bag. Um, so if you're not familiar with Join Bell, they're the absolute best telealth company out there. There are hundreds of you guys that are using them now since I started sharing them and can attest to that as well. They have the best customer service. Um, this is not a sponsored post, but you guys know like I love them so much that I will always talk about them. So, if you're interested in a JLP1, if you want to get started, I have that info down below. Or if you want to stock up on like BPI, the famous BPI, Belle still has a good bit of that. So, you can get their six-month plan currently for 189 with my code Britney, which is it's all down below.
Um, it equals out to 189 a month for BPI, which is phenomenal. So definitely check that out if you wanting to stock up or if you just really like BPI. So I have pulled out two syringes because I'm going to do my Trazeptide and I'm going to do my um Surmelon. So we'll start with Trazeptide. This is a BPI vial. So it has Trazeptide and B6. It's a tiny little vial. Now, another question that I get asked quite often is what are things that you can do on your injection day that will help you feel better, that will help the process along. And um initially when I started my GOP journey, I didn't really think about that, right?
Like I was just like, "Oh, take the shot. It'll do what it wants to do." But as I started having more side effects and as I started learning more, I realized that there are definitely things that you can do that will help you along the process. So, I'm going to share some of those with you. I alled the top of my vial and now I am going to draw up my medication. Now, one thing that's really important is Oh, I don't need that much. Is to always make sure that you double check every single vial before you open it. So, I have several BPI vials, unfortunately, or fortunately for me, these are all the same, but just make sure that you double check yours so that you are not getting different formulations. Every time you open a new vial, make sure that your units is correct. That's a very big tip. Um, and something that a lot of people actually struggle with on their journey. Like, they'll take accidentally too much or not enough or whatever because they assume that every compounding pharmacy is the same. And unfortunately, that's just not the way it is. So, I'm going to draw up my medicine. So, things that you can do on your JLP1 journey on shot day that will help you in the process. Okay.
So, number one, water. Now, water is important all the time, right? Like, you need to be drinking a lot of water at all times. Um, but specifically, I'm going to recap that for a second so I can get a alcohol swab. Specifically on your injection day, you want to make sure that you're well hydrated so that everything flows the way that it is supposed to do. Water helps your body function tremendously better. Okay? So, drinking water. Number two, you want to make sure that you have a high protein meal before your injection. This is going to help you make sure that you get enough nutrition in before that injection kicks in and you're not able to eat. Um, especially the first and second day after my injection, I struggle to hit my protein goals. So, making sure that I get a good high protein meal in before the injection really helps me out. And then another thing that that will help with, having enough nutrients in your body will help you with nausea, will help you with um feeling dizzy or faint. It'll help you a lot of those other side effects that may come along with the GLP1 subside. So, two very big tips. Drink some water, eat a high protein meal, and take a walk.
Okay? You don't have to go out and do some crazy form of exercise, right? All you really have to do is make sure that you move your body for about 30 minutes that day. Now, what that is going to do is kind of what the other two things are going to do. It's going to get everything moving, especially if you're someone that strugg struggles with constipation.
It'll get everything moving. It will also help with, you know, happy endorphins being released. You'll have more energy. You'll just feel better.
So, if you're somebody that struggles with feeling like low energy or tired or down a day or two after your injection, go take a 30-minute walk. That's really going to help you. Um, and then it'll also help, like I said, with constipation. Um, it'll help even if like you're somebody that has trouble sleeping. So, it can go either way.
It'll give you more energy. But then if you're somebody that is having trouble sleeping after your injection, making sure that you get energy burned will set you up for a better night's sleep.
There's actually a ton of evidence to suggest that having a good workout in the morning, whether it be a really long walk, whether it be a weightlifting session, is really beneficial for your sleep cycle, getting it done first thing in the morning. So, those are the the biggest tips that I have for injection day itself. And another one is checking out the timing of your injection. So, if you are somebody that struggles with sleep after your injection, taking it first thing in the morning is going to be helpful for some. And then some people like to take it right before bed so that it doesn't hit them until the next morning and then they never struggle with the sleep. So, figuring out the best time for you could be instrumental in your GLP1 journey. Okay, let's move on to the injection itself.
So, we are going to be using the clip method today, which is my favorite method. Another one that I do is I will use the back of a chair or like even this here and like prop my my arm up because you want to make sure that you're injecting in fat. Um, you do not want to inject into just skin. Like you want to make sure it's fat. That's actually one of the big reasons why I don't do or I don't love doing my stomach as often because I've had a tummy tuck and so my skin there is not a lot of fat. So for me personally, the arms and the thigh have always been best. I have a lot of fat on my arms. I have my whole life. I don't think unless I get it cut off it will get better or like work out like crazy, which is something I just don't want to do. So, we're doing the arm today. So, what you do for the clip method is you grab yourself a hair clip and you're just going to clip up some of the fat. You see how it just brings it up into a nice bold right there for you? The perfect way to get it done. And then you don't have to like you're able to see what you're doing. You stand in front of a mirror. you're able to see what you're doing and inject it right where it needs to go. We're going to open a new alcohol swab. That's a big tip for that I have for you guys as well. I see so many people using the same alcohol swab on their vial as they do on their arm. But y'all, if there was any bacteria on the vial, you're putting it on your arm. Use two separate alcohol swabs. If you run out, you can get them super cheap on Amazon for like nothing. Like $4 for a hundred or something. I actually think I have some in my Amazon store down below, but please use a separate alcohol swab for your vial and for your arm or whatever your injection site's going to be. Okay, so I'm going to scoot a little bit closer and hit the the table for this. So, we're just going to alcohol really good right in the center there where and I kind of like shove it in around where we are going to be doing the injection. Okay, now it's sticking to my nail. Then we are going to That's not the right needle. Then we're going to take my injection. Now, I did do a little bit more this time. Um, I've been doing seven and a half units. This is 10 be or 7 and a half milligrams. This is 10 because I'm going on vacation next week and I want a little bit extra and I'm on compounded so I kind of do what I want. I mean, I'm not going to take like 20 milligrams, but we increased it to 10 this week. Okay. So, then you're just going to go right where you alcohol it and you just kind of jab it in. This is a teeny tiny needle. Can you see that?
It's not going to hurt. And if it does, it's going to hurt for like a second.
See? Okay. Then we're going to work our way down here and just inject it in, making sure that we get it all into the fat. And once we get it all in, we're going to leave the needle in for about 5 seconds.
Two, three, four, five. And then we can pull it out. Perfect. Then you can uncip and you have just given yourself your GLP-1 injection in the back of your arm.
Beautiful.
I do this with my glutathon quite often.
I do it with my curlin. I do it with all of the things. I am going to recap this.
I know. I know. It's my own needle though if I stick myself like it came from me, you know. And then I discard it in an old um laundry detergent bottle. I use an old tie bottle. Easy peasy. Okay.
So, I hope that this answered a lot of y'all's questions about shot day, about how to do your injection, about timing of injection, about easy ways to do your injection. Um, if it did, please don't forget to give this video a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, check out Join Bell. You will not be disappointed with them. I I seriously like I want everybody to be on Bell because I love them that much. So definitely check them out if you're interested, especially in that six-month trozeptide bundle. Um, and yeah, and any other uh peptides as well. They have smearellin, they have glutathione, mick B12, and NAD+. They are all wonderful. I, like I said, I'm on glutathione and smearellin and I love them. They have changed my life. I was going to do the smearin right now, but I think I am going to wait. It's a little early in the day. If it makes me tired, I'll do it later before bed. So, or before dinner. Okay. Thank you guys so much for watching today's video. Again, I'm not editing this, so you're going to get what you get. Um, thank you guys so much for watching, and I will see you guys in the next video. Have a great day, guys. Bye.
