[00:00:02]Hi, and I'm Alexy Gavrilov. And we are at the New Canaan Playhouse, which is a historic movie theater and was originally a playhouse in downtown New Canaan and this is a historic building that the town now owns and has rescued to prevent it from being anything else.

[00:00:17]So, it is now a landmark in downtown.

[00:00:20]And if you've been to New Canaan at all, you know that this sort of marks the center of Elm Street. Um it's a really beautiful building.

[00:00:28]And um it's just really nice to have the red sidewalks and this kind of building that has a cupola on top um and give us that like small town feel and that historic touch. Um but it's a modern movie theater now, so best of both worlds.

[00:00:45]What do you love about downtown? I love little small shops, restaurants.

[00:00:49]Obviously, the restaurants are amazing here and um also some antique stores Mhm. that we just passed by.

[00:00:57]Yeah, there's lots of shopping, plenty of things to do.

[00:01:01]Um and it's really beautiful. This is one of the places that people definitely remember seeing.

[00:01:07]Um so, come on down to the playhouse.

[00:01:08]There's also a new pub here um which is a cool place to come. A little secret, in case you didn't know this, you could come and buy popcorn without seeing a movie, which is really fun. So, you can walk right in and get your popcorn and walk around. So, Let's go get it. Yeah, let's go.
