Heaven and hell are not physical places but states of consciousness experienced in the nervous system in the present moment; heaven represents regulated coherence, safety, and connection with the divine, while hell represents dysregulated survival mode, fear, and separation from one's true self, and transitioning between these states requires moment-to-moment practices of awareness, regulation, and surrender rather than intellectual understanding.
