In Revelation 17, the 'harlot' represents Israel, God's covenant people who were called to be a 'kingdom of priests' and 'holy nation' serving as a light to the nations. When Israel abandoned her covenant relationship with God by pursuing other gods and cultures, she became a 'harlot'—a prophetic picture of covenant people placing their confidence in the world instead of their God. The 'beast' represents the successive earthly empires (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and the Ottoman Empire) that oppressed Israel throughout history. The 'seven heads' symbolize these seven kingdoms, while the 'ten horns' represent ten kings who will give power to the beast. This interpretation is based on the apostolic framework, using the Law, Psalms, Prophets, and Apostolic writings as interpretive keys, rather than modern theological speculation.

Revelation // The Harlot & Beast Revealed // Chapter 17 // Marcus Da Costa
Added:I wish to speak to you today from somewhere real.
Not a conference stage, not a studio, not a pulpit. Because what I'm about to share with you today isn't a program, isn't a course.
It's something I've been shown and I've spent a lot of time building the architecture for. I believe with all that is within me that God is calling his people out of a system that was never designed to set them free. Most believers I know are exhausted, not because their faith is weak, but because the life they're living is quietly consuming them.
Every month the mortgage goes out, the rent goes out, the debt repayments go out and whatever is left is used for God and his kingdom.
We have reversed the order and called it normal.
And I refuse to call it normal.
The early church in Acts chapter 2 lived according to a completely different architecture.
The first century early church.
Those who encountered the living God built things completely different. They pulled resources.
They ate together. They shared one with another. They supported one another across generations.
Nobody was left struggling alone and the world couldn't look away. The Lord added to the body of Messiah daily not because of their marketing but because of their lives.
This model was never supposed to be a historical footnote.
It was supposed to be the blueprint, and blueprints are supposed to be built from. I've spent years considering what this could look like, not just as theory, but as a living, breathing, financially sustainable community.
And what I want to share with you today is that the vision is already becoming structure.
Project transformation is the restoration of authentic acts 2 community living for the 21st century and we're building it here in Bulgaria.
But why Bulgaria?
One of the greatest barriers that God's people have to fulfilling their calling and purpose isn't a lack of faith. It's financial bondage.
A family in the UK paying out £1,400 a month on a mortgage or or on rent can completely transition to being debtree.
owning their own home outright, redirecting every pound for themselves, for their children, for the community, for God's work.
I didn't stumble on this.
I saw this. I stress tested the numbers.
I researched. I built the model.
And I've created four distinct pathways.
subsidized purchase, rent to own, long-time rentals, and joint ventures for those who support and believe in the vision but are unable to make the move. But I want to be honest with you as it's important that I do so.
This isn't for everybody.
In some ways, this will be more difficult than the path you're already on.
Real community means you can't hide. You need to forgive quickly and you need to be forgiven. Likewise, you may need to give up personal autonomy for the flourishing of the whole. This quite frankly isn't the UK and there will be a season of discomfort. But here is the question I want to leave you with.
What would be the cost of staying on the path you're currently on?
Decades of years funding a system that seeks to consume you, all the while leaving you too tired to pursue vehemently the calling of God on your life, watching your children pursue the same system, all the while calling that stewardship.
Yeshua said, "You can't serve two masters."
He wasn't being poetic. He was being precise.
The question isn't whether you believe that. The question is whether you are willing to build your life around that.
I'm not here to persuade everyone. This is not for everyone. This is for those who have sensed there must be and is a better way.
Who've read Acts chapter 2 and felt that that is a call rather than a historical lesson for those who are ready to stop waiting for the church to provide what only the courageous are capable of building. For those people, I have one simple ask.

Shabbat shalom. Shabbat shalom my brothers, my sisters in Messiah Yeshua.
Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to our gathering. Today we continue in the revelation of Yeshua Messiah. And today, the harlot and the beast revealed.
The harlot and the beast revealed.
And that's essentially what we're going to be going through, revealing the harlot and the beast.
Therefore, this message, this broadcast today is what you might call uh the uh the kingdom crescendo, the biblical crescendo.
This is a peak in the revelation narrative.
And I'm not saying it dies down after this because it doesn't. But what I am saying is what you will learn today and what you will go through today um is like when you are threading and sewing a needle and over the course of time your needle goes through the fabric and then there's that point in time when you pull the thread and everything comes together.
This is what is going to be taking place today.
And I'm absolutely certain that you will see how from Genesis 1 up until now the Father has been revealing to his people things that according to scripture will shortly come to pass. And that those breadcrumbs we can piece together in this chapter and in the ones before and in the ones after and have therefore a really really solid base for us to stand on. So that we know that we are not like unto those individuals who go up to war against the most high, to go up to war against the lamb, who do not worship the beast and his image with the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts and has the patience of the saints. the patience of the saints which we know is the keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua.
We do not therefore want to be dissuaded from that patience through the religion and doctrine and teaching of men. Regardless of the denomination, we don't want to be discombobulated by what we see and hear in the news, uh, on the radio, on the internet, through m movies, through music.
What we want, my brothers and sisters, is to be the kind of people that the most high is looking for. those who worship him in spirit and in truth. And many years ago on the hour of Patmas, the spirit spoke and revealed things to John which echoes and is in the process of being fulfilled to this day.
So if you have an ear to hear, hear what the spirit is saying to the biblical church, the biblical echosia in the year 2026 because it is as important if not more important for us today to have that understanding and the revelation of Yeshua Messiah than it was all those years ago.
So, make sure you follow along with me.
You have your p you have your paper, your pencil, your pen or your notepad, whatever you are writing and recording notes on. And if this is the first time you are on this channel watching me, make sure you subscribe and go back. I encourage you to begin at the introduction.
A lot of the times much of the confusion people have is because they want to know the answer to such question but they don't have the base and the foundation which got us to be able to answer that question and therefore they are in the wilderness of of confusion going round and round and round and round and round about we go. So, make sure you go back to the beginning to the introduction and that certainly if you follow along is going to best prepare you to receive a message like the one that's going to be taught today. The vision of House of Israel UK is to be a worshshiping people, an evangelistic community, a disciplehip center, an equipping network, and a worldwide witness for Yeshua the Messiah. And these are the declaration of Yhovah's blessing. I declare this is my season for peace, power, promises, and prosperity.
I declare the peace of Yhovah in my life and in my body. I declare the power of Yhovah to manifest fully in my life. I declare the promises of Yhovah fulfilled in my life. I declare the prosperity of Yhovah to permeate every area of my life. And I declare I will walk in obedience to Yhovah every day of my life.
And before we begin in prayer, I want to encourage all of you who are watching now to just hit the share button. It's free. You don't get charged. There's no subscription for hitting that share button. But what it does is it helps us to reach more people. It lets the algorithm and the systems know that this is something that you appreciate and to put it in front of more people. So, hit the share button, hit the like button, and also what also helps is your comments.
At the end of the broadcast, I'll respond to your comments. I'll respond to your questions as there may be uh plenty of questions and I will also respond to your testimonies and prayer requests. So please do like and share and for everybody who has done so already. I appreciate you. I thank you.
Let's begin with some prayer.
God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Israel, blessed be your name. Thank you, Father, for this day, a day that you've made and assigned for me to share your word with your people.
I know that there is much teaching that has taken place over the course of time since this revelation was given to the Apostle John.
But I pray that when I share this word today that it will resonate in such a way that people will know that this is the truth. The truth that will set them free and best position them for the blessing that comes through hearing through doing the words of this prophecy.
So give us eyes to see and ears to hear.
Speak to our hearts and minds through me, the teacher, but also through the comments. Speak to your people in their homes as they're watching it alone or together with other people. May this word echo in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead.
I pray that it causes sinners to repent and the lost sheep to return and be found of the good shepherd.
So use this broadcast, use this time today to magnify your own name. Bless and anoint this message in Yeshua's name. Hallelujah and amen.
Glory to the King. All right. Well, let's get straight into the message today.
I hope you're you're ready to receive it.
Throughout the revelation of Yeshua, the Messiah, John is shown beyond the veil into the realm of the spirit, a conflict between the woman, her seed, and the serpent.
John witnessed the dragon cast from heaven, the persecution of the remnant of the woman's seed, the rise of the beast, the false prophet and image, the lamb with the 144,000 upon Mount Zion, the two great harvests of the earth, and the bowls of God's wrath poured out upon a rebellious world.
As we have examined the vision meticulously while using the apostolic framework, we have avoided speculation robed in theology and come to canonically sound conclusions.
This approach is never more important than it is for the next few chapters.
the approach that I have had since the very beginning of this series, but not only since the beginning of this series, one that has been consistent since the the beginning of the ministry is the apostolic framework.
I call it and use the term apostolic framework because I am describing the faith that was once delivered to the saints. And the saints that I am referring to are not the saints or professed saints that you and I may interact with or know or be at your local church.
The faith that was once delivered to the saints are the saints who are referred to in the first century.
These are the saints who Messiah taught himself who he taught himself who he commissioned himself.
And what he commissioned himself for them to do is to go out and teach what he had taught them.
And I trust that Messiah knows what he is doing when he is selecting people.
He knew Judas was a devil.
He didn't make a mistake.
So when I am talking about the apostolic framework, I'm talking about what did these individuals believe, what did they practice, what did they learn from Yeshua, what did Yeshua teach himself?
And as a consequence, when we get to Revelations, the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah, just like when we get to Romans, just like when we explore the acts of the apostles, the acts of life, the acts of the Holy Spirit, or any of the epistles, I must take off the 21st century bias.
I must remove my western [snorts] 21st century presuppositions and insert myself into the mindset of those the most high was talking to the Apostle John, the servant of God who was called to send what he had heard.
to the servants of God in the first century.
That mindset is as important now as it has ever been.
As what John is being shown to one established in the apostolic framework is easily discernible.
to another blinded by 21st century theology. Instead of responding to the message God wants his servants to know, they'll be confused carried about by winds of doctrine.
When we started in chapter one, what we came to realize is that the purpose of the prophecy being given to John, being given to the servants of God, was not to confuse them.
It wasn't to confuse them.
And it wasn't for this mystery to remain unsolved to the servants of God. It was so that they would read, hear, and do.
It was to prepare them for that which it was to come. It was to prepare and position them.
And so it is to prepare and position us in chapter 17 verse1 in chapter 17 verse1.
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vows, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither, and I will show unto thee the great judgment of the great that sitth upon many waters.
Most readers immediately begin searching for a nation, a political power, an empire, or a future religious system.
Now, let's just do a poll in the chat.
Let's do a poll in the chat. List all of the in the chat all of the theories you have heard with regards to this woman, this harlot, mystery Babylon.
Just write it down in chat what you've heard.
Because in the course of my time in ministry, I've heard a great deal of theories, a great deal of prognostication.
The only problem is in order for people to get these theories and prognostications, what people have had to do is take isolated scriptures without using the greater body of the Bible as their guard rails.
And that is not what we are doing today.
In order for us to come to the correct conclusion, the guard rails we have had to use since chapter 1 until now is the law, the psalms, the prophets, the gospels in addition to revelation itself.
And it is from that perspective we can see this wasn't given to us to be confused or to not know the answer. It is a mystery that is to be revealed by the ones who have all of the ingredients to know what it means. The saints.
Let's continue. And I can see some of your suggestions here.
much of which I have um come across myself.
Most readers immediately begin searching for a nation, a political power, an empire, or a future religious system.
But using the apostolic framework, the law, the prophets, the psalms, and the apostolic writings, you're equipped to identify the woman based on the scripture rather than your own bias, curiosity, and influences.
Throughout the prophets, Jehovah repeatedly described his covenant people as the bride.
Yet when they abandoned his covenant and sought security in the nations, he called them a harlot.
Now let's let me take you on this journey.
Let me take you on this journey. Let's begin this journey now in Exodus 19 and verse 5.
Let's begin the journey in Exodus 19:5.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people.
For all the earth is mine, and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
Now, let's go to Isaiah 61 and verse 6.
So, I'm bringing your Bible today.
So come along on this journey.
Make sure your pencil is sharp.
But ye shall be named the priests of the Lord.
Men shall call you the ministers of our God.
Ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
So when we begin today with regards to Israel, Israel served a unique position in the presence of the most high.
Unlike any nation, they were a kingdom of priests, a holy nation.
The prophet Isaiah revealed that this particular nation unlike any other was called to be the ministers of the most high God.
That was the kind of relationship the most high desired to have with Israel.
However, or let's continue. For thy maker is thine husband.
Thy maker is thy husband. The Lord of hosts is his name. And thy redeemer, the holy one of Israel, the God of the whole earth shall he be called.
This relationship, covenant relationship between the most high and Israel was one where Israel was called to be a minister, a kingdom of priests, one who would serve the most high and be be a an an example, a light unto to the nations.
That's the purpose that Israel was to serve between themselves, the most high, but also the nations alike.
Now this relationship if we boil it down even further was likened unto a husband and a wife.
Now if you go all the way back from the very beginning when it comes down to husband and wife there was a cleaving that was to take place.
A husband shall leave his father and his mother and cleave to his wife and they twain shall be one flesh. [snorts] So the two should become one.
So the most high desired to be in covenant relationship with Israel who would serve as a light to the Gentiles.
Are you following now?
where Israel began to be called a harlot in the Old Testament up until the New is when instead of them being a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, a peculiar treasure, a peculiar pe people, the bride of the most high.
Instead of being a light to the nations, they began being attracted to their darkness.
Isaiah Isaiah 1 Isaiah 1 verse 21.
How is the faithful city become a harlot?
It was full of judgment, righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers.
Here the language that we see the most high speaking with regards to Israel, speaking with regards to Jerusalem is harlotry.
You used to be a faithful city.
Now you've become a harlot.
The faithfulness between husband and wife or what it should be is the language that was used to describe the relationship between God and Israel until such a time as when Israel went after other gods, went after other kings, went after other cultures.
And instead of being a light, they followed after the darkness of the nations.
Jeremiah 3:6, Jehovah said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, "Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel have done?
She has gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree and there hath played the harlot.
Who is the harlot that's being referred to in Isaiah and Jeremiah?
It tells you, "Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel have done? She has gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there have played the harlot."
And I said, after she had done all these things, "Turn thou unto me." But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
And I saw when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery, I I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce. Yet her treacherous sister feared not. but went and played the harlot also.
My my my for those of you who can see my screen here um in uh on YouTube and Facebook, you will see that in this mystery key that we've been using over the last um few few months, we already established that a woman, a virgin A harlot points to Israel and the biblical church.
Depending on how the biblical church or Israel is behaving will determine if she is a bride or considered a harlot.
And you can see here how the most high desired a bride.
He desired to be a husband when what this bride in turn did though made a covenant with the most high went after other gods transgressed his commandments, his statutes and his judgments and were unfaithful to him.
I if you can capture this piece of what I'm saying here, when we get further into the Bible, this whole dynamic, husband, wife, bride, harlot, is going to make a lot more sense as we begin to approach the marriage supper of the lamb.
God's original purpose for Israel went beyond possession of land or simply to be recipients of commandments.
They were called to become a kingdom of priests who existed not holy for themselves but as mediators between God and the nations, a light to the Gentiles.
The relationship that the Most High had with Israel and Israel had with God has global, international, worldwide, and earth inhabitant ramifications and consequences.
If they fulfill their responsibility as a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, a peculiar people, then what actually happens is those of the nations come up.
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.
They come up.
They desire to be taught his ways.
They desire to be taught his ways. They desire to hear his word and his law.
When Israel ceases from its original purpose as being a kingdom of priests and a becomes a harlot, a city filled with murderers and abominations that has an impact on the earth.
And this is why my brothers and my sisters, when we were looking at the previous chapters with regards to Revelation and the prophets, we see that yes, Jehovah fights for Israel.
But in the midst of fighting for Israel because of his covenant that he made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Israel, David, etc. He also punishes them for their disobedience.
We see that in the prophets. We see that in the law. We read about it in the gospels. We read about it in the epistles. And we see it in the revelation.
So they were called to be a kingdom of priests who existed not holy for themselves but as mediators between God and the nations, a light to the Gentiles.
This unique and privileged position of covenant was likened unto a manic marriage that when desecrated rendered Israel, Jerusalem a harlot.
Revelation 17:2 Revelation 17:2 with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Now, we're just jumping down to verse six so we can get an understanding of what these things mean.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Yeshua.
Can you hear me?
Yes. The camera went out for some reason.
Um, just give me a moment.
I can't see why it would go out, but yes, let me u I'll do my best to keep an eye on that. Matthew 23:34, "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets and wise men and scribes, and some of them ye shall kill and crucify, and some of them ye shall scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city, that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zachcharias son of B a chaas whom he slew between the temple and the altar.
My my my if we ask and look at what does Yeshua say regarding this matter?
What Yeshua says regarding this matter is Jerusalem, the Jews, Israel, they're the ones who killed the prophets.
They're the one who's killing the prophets.
Rome at the time had no issue with Messiah.
He's just a wilderness preacher. Leave him be. Hadn't no issue with Messiah.
The people who killed the prophets were the people of God according to covenant who were carnal.
Messiah would send or the father would send people, apostles, prophets, the saints into their own.
He was sent unto their own, and their own received him not.
This is what took place.
Some of them ye shall kill and crucify.
Some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues and persecute them from city to city. This was not the Romans.
This is what happened to Messiah.
But when Messiah ascended, it just continued with the apostles.
In Luke 13:33 in Luke 13:33, "Nevertheless, I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following, for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem." Let me read that again.
Nevertheless, I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following. For it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which klest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee.
How often would I have gathered thy children together as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings and ye would not.
So what I have been doing using the Bible is I have been making a case with regards to the woman.
The adversary, the beast, as described in chapter 12, makes war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the faith, the testimony of Yeshua.
That's the remnant of her seed because the remnant of her seed is biblical Israel.
the true Israel from the vantage point of the most high.
The woman, however, through whom Messiah was born, which the dragon seeks to destroy, is the covenant people whose head and heart is hardened.
They are those who eventually look upon him who they have pierced upon the intervention of the most high because of his covenant.
So Messiah is saying you guys killed the prophets and because I need to enter into the glory, I'm not leaving Jerusalem because this is where they come to to to die.
So when we're trying to identify who this woman is and we know that this woman is drunk on the blood of the martyrs on the blood of the saints who is the one who is shedding the blood because the woman the bride became a harlot committing adultery.
spiritual fornication with the gods and kings of the nations.
It killed those sent to her.
It killed those sent to her. Call her back to their first love.
I just need to do something here. Give me a Give me a second.
Sorry. Excuse me.
I can see what's happening. Why that it went off.
Okay, let me do that again. Because the woman, the bride, became a harlot, committing adultery, spiritual fornication with the gods and kings of the nations, it killed those sent to call her back to their first love.
The question is, who shed the blood of the Messiah? The apostles and prophets.
The reason why she is called Babylon is because just like Babylon, Israel, Jerusalem oppressed the people of God.
And as this harlot is sat upon many waters, it influenced the nations to likewise be thirsty for the blood of the saints.
So the reason why this woman is called a harlot is because she committed fornication.
But in addition to the fact that she committed fornication and is called a harlot, she's also called mystery Babylon.
The title of Babylon is used to describe this woman because Babylon oppressed the people of God.
In much the same way Jerusalem, Israel oppressed the people of God.
In chapter 17 and verse three, in Revelation chapter 17 and verse three.
So he carried me away in the spirit to the wilderness. And I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet-c colored beast full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and 10 horns.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colored and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.
And upon her forehead was a name written, mystery Babylon.
Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Yeshua. And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Now if you go to Ezekiel chapter 16, Ezekiel chapter 16 verse 26.
Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbors great of flesh and hast increased thy whoredoms to provoke me to anger.
So the mother was called to be a bride.
God gave her responsibilities towards the nations to bring them towards the light of God through her privileged position as a kingdom of priests. However, Israel pursued and aligned herself to the nations and as a consequence influence them to be harlots rather than brides.
You will notice here that this is called the mother.
So this harlot is influential Now you can only imagine how the world would be if this bride was operating in her calling.
If the bride was operating in her calling, she wouldn't be the mother of harlots.
She would be the mother of righteousness.
Out of her would not only be the remnant of her seed who keeps the commandments of God and has the testimony of Yeshua.
All of her seed would do that.
glory would fill the earth. In much the same way, once Messiah is on the throne and the saints who are with him will reign with him for a thousand years.
Righteousness would fill the earth.
That would have taken place if the bride maintained her position.
Just like in the time where Solomon was on the throne and there was peace and wisdom and righteousness and the nations would come up to inquire of the great king.
So the mother was called to be a bride.
Let me know in the chat if you're following.
Give me one moment here. One moment.
I'm trying to resolve an issue.
So just give me a little bit of grace.
Okay.
God gave her responsibility towards the nations to bring them towards the light of God through her privileged position as a kingdom of priests.
However, Israel pursued and aligned herself to the nations and as a consequence influence them to be harlots rather than brides.
The harlot is a prophetic picture of covenant people placing their confidence in the world instead of their God.
In chapter 17 and verse 7.
In chapter 17 and verse 7.
And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didest thou marvel?
I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carrith her, which hath the seven heads, and 10 horns.
Now, it's important that we notice that the angel is asking the question, why are you marveling?
The reason for the question is because in essence, this shouldn't be a marvel to you. Why are you marveling?
It's all there in the word.
It's in the Bible. It's in the word of God.
But let me tell you, let me reveal to you the mystery of the woman.
That's what's going on here.
I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carrith her, which have the seven heads and 10 horns.
the beast that thou sawest was and is and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into pition.
And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was and is, is not, and yet is.
This is why my brothers and my sisters, I am I am laboring the point here that the angel is asking why are you marveling?
The reason why he's asking why are you marveling in addition to us today not being in a state of confusion with regards to this stuff is because I'll read it to you here.
The beast that thou sawest was and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into pition, and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. Therefore, if your name is written in the book of life from the foundation of the earth, you shouldn't be wondering.
What you should be able to do is read the sign of the times and be able to know this is that which the word has declared.
This is that which the which the prophet had declared, which the apostle had declared, which the Messiah had declared.
That's how we should be responding. Not with wonder, not with great admiration and fear, but with clarity.
with with clarity, with awareness, preparedness, strategy, and robustness.
Verse 9, here is the mind that hath wisdom.
The seven heads are mountains on which the woman siteth, and there are seven kings, five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come.
And when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and go into pition.
And the 10 horns which thou sawest are 10 kings, which have received no kingdom as yet, but receive power as kings, one hour with the beast.
These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
These shall make war with the saints, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and they that are with him are called and chosen and faithful.
So the angel's response to John's astonishment is illuminating.
Why did you marvel?
If you have the apostolic framework, the law, psalms, and the prophets like John, this should not surprise you.
If you have the law, the psalms and the prophets like John, you have the Messiah and you have the apostles doctrine, it shouldn't surprise you what I am teaching today is can canonically biblically sound, unbiased towards the theological frameworks of men and reinforces is the patience of the saints, the keeping of God's commands, and the faith of Yeshua.
If you go back through the list of what people have heard with regards to this woman, can you biblically say the same?
to help us identify who this woman is.
We can begin in Genesis all through the Torah, the prophets, the gospels to the revelation.
Can we say the same with regards to some of these theories that are out there?
We can't.
So, this is biblically sound.
And with regards to the beast, it's biblically sound as well.
In chapter 10 of Revelation, in chapter 10 of Revelation, but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants, the prophets.
John isn't seeing something new.
The mystery of the woman was declared to the prophets and what he spoke regarding her must be fulfilled.
What God is revealing to John is the revelation that Yeshua is the Messiah and therefore the thread that brings it all together.
Throughout history, earthly empires have risen one after another in opposition to God and his covenant people.
John is being shown them as a composite and in their final form.
If Israel, Judah is the woman and she's sitting on the beast.
What we are in essence being shown is that this woman has been involved with the beast throughout all of these kingdoms.
So when people start talking about oh the woman is Rome that don't make sense or any other theories the woman is America the woman is Rome the woman is I is China it doesn't make sense the beast and the crowns and those who are give their power to the beast hate the The woman who sits on the beast have committed fornication with them.
They hate her. She loves them.
We can go all the way back to the Torah when the Egyptian kingdom killed their sons, sought to destroy them in the sea, and in the wilderness, Israel was crying to go Time after time, time after time, Israel was oppressed by Greece.
Another example, oppressed by Greece brutally.
Finally get Greece out of Israel.
with the Mcabes and and the wars involved. And you know what they did spent years cost them many many lives.
Do you know what they did after?
They unbolted the door and let Rome come in.
The problem is after they let Rome in, Rome didn't want to leave.
My my my.
The seven heads are explained as seven mountains and kings.
Using the apostolic framework, mountains represent kingdoms, places of authority and rule.
John sees the succession of these powers through which the covenant people repeatedly compromise themselves instead of remaining faithful to Yhovah.
This defilement is most evident with the killing of the saints, the martyrs of Yeshua, the apostles and prophets.
Yet despite this unfaithfulness towards God, the woman is hated by he who she sits on.
That's a key key distinction that a lot of people miss.
The woman can't be.
He who hates the woman.
So, it can't be wrong.
But we'll get deeper into who this most likely is on the map here [snorts] on YouTube. I'm showing you Egypt and we're just going to look at some geography to help us with our understanding. So, this is Egypt.
That's the Egyptian Empire that I showed you. Here is the Assyrian Empire.
Now, in both of these empire empires, you can see how they were involved extensively in the lives of the covenant people of God.
Egypt, Assyria, Greece. Are you seeing this?
the Persian Empire or that was the Babylonian, excuse me, that's Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome.
So, if you're following the maps that I'm showing you on screen, these empires seem to be expanding, getting larger.
and more powerful.
Revelation 17:10.
Revelation 17:10. And there are seven kings. Five are fallen.
And we went through the five who are fallen that we can trace back through scripture as having a tempestuous relationship with the woman.
A tempestuous relationship with the woman.
the woman desiring and committing fornication with them while they persecute and despise the woman.
And there are seven kings, five are fallen, and one is, so one is, this is the sixth, and the other is yet to come. There is a seventh.
And when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
So 17 1710 1710 Five are fallen.
One is the one is is the one that existed in the days of John the Apostle.
That's Rome.
So the sixth is Rome and the other is yet to come. There is one coming after Rome and when he cometh he must continue a short space.
John lived in the sixth kingdom.
The seventh that would arise after would continue for a short period of time only to be brought back to life and be venerated by the eighth.
So if you're following the language throughout the revelation, the seventh kingdom would come after the sixth.
And because all of these kingdoms overlay in essence the same geological region and is oppressive to the woman.
Then we have tremendous ingredients to know who is going to be the eighth, who is going to be the seventh.
Because the seventh which is a part of the sixth that came before isn't going to be completely detached from that which came before it.
because they are one beast with seven heads.
Let's look at this chart here.
Beast kingdom length comparison.
Beast kingdom length comparison.
Egypt 3,000 years.
Assyria 300, Babylonian 87, Persian 220, Greek 650, Romans 2,00 years, and the Ottoman 623 years.
The most likely candidate while remaining canonically sound for the seventh and therefore eighth kingdom is the Ottoman Empire who conquered Jerusalem.
Who conquered Jerusalem from Mamluk Sultanate in 1517 and controlled the city until the British until the British captured it in 1917.
When we put all these pieces together, we can come to the conclusion that that is the most likely candidate because these people to this day, to this very day, that region despises Israel.
Literally to this day, there is a war going on that involves Israel and the surrounding nations.
This kingdom, this kingdom vehemently opposes the woman, hates the woman, persecutes the woman, has controlled the woman's territory, and just as the Bible says, it has suffered A deadly wound which shall be healed.
And I would suggest none of that matches, as some would suggest, the United States of America.
It doesn't match China or Russia.
when it does match.
If we're looking at the the geography here on the map, it overlays directly on that map there with the exception of it heading further up into um the UK.
The map of the Ottoman Empire in the 14th to 16th century pretty much is on top of the empires that came before it.
The Ottoman Empire has in its ape form may not be called such, but most certainly has the religious veneration that hates the woman and overlies geographically.
I'll take you back to the map.
I remember I may have said this story to you before years ago as a supply teacher. I remember being in school in one of these schools and when I was in one of these schools, I was just walking about from class to class going to do my daily business. And I remember seeing walking into one of these classes, there being a prayer mat on the floor, and these children in the school was taken up to this prayer mat and was bowing on the mat because they was learning about the religion of Islam.
in school in the UK.
This this may have been about 10 years ago.
I saw that with my own eyes.
I was uh uh one of these teachers who had to juggle being a believer while being given material about this religion that I needed to teach.
I'm saying this to say when we look at this these kingdoms there is a seventh whose deadly wound is healed the beast.
Then there is a eighth who causes people to worship The religious element with regards to the beasts is heavily involved in the seventh, but also most definitely heavily involved in the eighth.
Verse 15 of chapter 17.
Verse 15 of chapter 17.
And he saith unto me, the waters which thou sawest, where the horse siteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
The 10 horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
The beast despises the hall, hates the hall.
We must therefore factor that into when we are trying to identify what's going on here.
For God have put it in their hearts to fulfill his will. In other words, my brothers and sisters, the beast is accomplishing the will of God.
So in order for us to know and identify well who who are these individuals, we go back to the apostolic framework as revealed to the prophets.
For God have put it in their hearts to fulfill his will and to agree and give their kingdom unto the beast and time until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
And the woman which thou sest is that great city which reignth over the kings of the earth.
In Revelation 11, in Revelation 11:8, in Revelation 11:8, "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where our where also our Lord was crucified.
where also our Lord was crucified.
The great city is where the Lord was crucified.
Where was the Lord crucified?
He was crucified in Judah. He was crucified in Jerusalem.
But the Bible is telling us, well, that's that's That's who the is.
That is who the harlot is.
So if we think and we put all of this together, it should just make perfect sense to you and I.
The harlot, the is is she who was in covenant relationship with God and abandoned her husband to go after other lovers.
The only people nation that is in covenant with the most high as a nation is Israel.
Whether it be the old covenant or the new covenant, it's Israel.
When Israel abandon the commandments of God and the testimony of Yeshua, it becomes adulterous. It becomes a harlot.
And it's for this reason the beast is risen up.
The beast is risen up as a as gi being given power by the devil, but it is risen up to deal with this adulterous woman.
Any nation that came against Israel without invitation by the most high was left in left in the dust.
Babylon, go right ahead. Deal with these people.
And it's for this reason Jeremiah can say, "You better go and and and when they come, you better allow them to come in here and take you because it's the father who sent them."
It was the father who sent Babylon.
It was the father who sent Persia, who sent Greece, who sent Rome to deal with these people.
It was the father who sent Joseph in chains into Egypt who then through his position as governor saved his family's life. So it was the father who sent the family into Egypt because of the hard-headed disobedience of Israel. It was the father who rose up Assyria to take them off into captivity.
And there was a day of visitation.
There was a day of visitation when father sent his son first begotten to Israel and his own received him not.
They shed his blood and they shed the blood of his apostles.
They shed the blood of the prophets and as a consequence Israel by Rome was scattered.
Judah, Jerusalem, not one stone of the temple laid upon another.
And this kingdom that came after the seventh following Rome the 6th did the same. occupied the land.
Until this day, Israel has not returned.
Judah, Jerusalem has not returned to the father.
And as a consequence, to this day, all the nations round about despise.
They need a dome for their own protection.
And there will be a day, according to the Bible, when the nations of the earth will rise up against Israel. And it will appear that all hope is lost.
And because of his faithfulness to his own word, his faithfulness with regards to covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, with Jacob, with Israel, with David, etc. There will be divine intervention. And it is then where this hard-headed, this stiff necked people will realize and will look upon he who they've pierced and will mourn and will weep and will repent and those who remain will return to God.
And it is so important that the most high has given us this word so to ensure we the people of God never align ourselves with the harlot and we never align ourselves with Babylon.
We are walking that that that narrow road that few find.
The narrow road where you keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Yeshua.
For those people before the wrath is poured out, they are moved out of the way.
For the wrath is stored up upon the children of disobedience. It's not for the righteous.
But it doesn't mean that if you're righteous, you won't experience tribulation. You won't experience affliction. You won't experience persecution.
These experiences, my brothers and sisters, are the assurance that you qualify for the crown of life.
Amen. Let's continue.
Unmistakably, unmistakably, the reason for the vision that John was compelled to share was so God's covenant people and those who have the patience of the saints find not themselves in Babylon when it falls, nor worshiping the beast, his image, nor taking the It's for this reason he declared the end from the beginning.
So those who are faithful and true can observe only from a distance the wrath of God that is stored up for the children of disobedience.
It's called a mystery.
But my brothers and my sisters, it's a mystery that we can know the answer to, the answer for.
And that's the conclusion of our time or the teaching here today.
Now, my brethren, it's imperative that you search the scriptures.
And I'm sure if you do so, you will come to very much the same conclusion as I.
It's important that we come to this conclusion so that you do not find yourself in Babylon when Babylon is falling.
That's the desire of God.
The desire of God is that you come out of Babylon because it's falling.
If Babylon, if Babylon is this harlot who has oppressed the people of God and we must come out of her, we cannot allow the doctrine, the teaching, the lifestyle of Babylon be in us when it falls. Otherwise, that which would cause you to stand, the patience of the saints, you will not have.
This is why John is given this revelation to share with the saints.
My God of all creation, blessed be your name.
Father, I just commit this time into your hands that it has been an edifying time, a teaching that has provided much clarity and insight into your word and and into the plans that you have for your people.
It's my prayer that it finds good ground and produces much fruit to the glory of your name.
May it cause sinners to repent and that your people will heed the call to come out of Babylon so we won't partake in its sins nor receive of its plagues.
So we can be the bride prepared and adjoined in the righteousness of the saints.
In Yeshua's name I pray.
Hallelujah and amen.
Glory to the king.
Glory to the king.

So, let me know what you've learned today in the chat. Thank you for everybody who has liked and shared.
Let me know if I know that in the beginning there was some discussion with regards to who the woman is or what has been taught with regards to the woman.
Some of you have said they've been taught about the woman being the Catholic Church.
Rome, America.
Looks like Rome and America seems to be the most um prominent one. there was um China.
But I I I'm hoping that from the scriptures we can see how those theories don't necessarily align itself with what the Bible says pertaining to the woman and then pertaining to um the beast.
So, I'm I'm hoping that's provided clarification.
Yes.
[snorts] Romans 11 confirms there is a remnant of Israel saved. Indeed.
Indeed.
When we when we get into Romans and I did a teaching series on Romans, so you can go and check that out on on the on the page, you will see that there is a remnant of Israel that is saved.
That's 100% true according to the Bible.
And the remnant of Israel that is saved is in accordance to his word.
When the father says he will do something, he watches over his word to ensure that it comes to pass.
And as far as there is a sun, moon, and stars, Israel will be before him as a nation.
But the Most High is just.
So the Most High will deal with Israel and punish Israel accordingly for the abominations and for the bloodshed and for the sins that it has committed.
and how he has done that in times past.
Babylon, Egypt to Assyria, Persia, Greece, Rome, and then the seventh and eighth kingdom.
But prior to the woman's total total annihilation, there is intervention from the most high. And because of that intervention, their eyes will be opened.
We believe lies.
Amen.
In Judah, the Noahhide laws are proclaimed to be for the Gentiles, which are not the commandments of God. The Jews say the Gentiles don't need to follow father's laws. Precisely.
If you think about the world that we live in today, there is not a nation that is founded upon the commandments, the statutes, the judgments of the most high and the faith of Yeshua. There is no nation. And it doesn't matter what people will argue, it doesn't and has never existed.
That was the opportunity.
That was the what father desired for the world to be the Row and responsibility of Israel.
And instead of transmitting the word of God, they transmitted the customs, rights, and rituals of men, which when those who had the word of God would highlight and and correct, they were so religious for their tradition and for their religion and for their iniquity that they killed the ones who father sent to save save them.
And now that um unrighteousness is all around the world.
It's all around the world as and and one such example of that is non-Jew non non-Jews don't need to keep the commandments of God but there are these few which they can keep.
Good point and well made. Thank you for that addition.
Zechariah 14 says, "Judah will fight at Jerusalem. Then Yhovah will judge those who are used to judge them. A remnant of Israel shall escape indeed."
And that's been the that's been the Most High's pattern.
His pattern has been, I'm going to send up a nation to judge Israel, and I'm going to judge the nation I'm sending to judge Israel.
That essentially is the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth kingdom or beast.
Question my friend watching with me asks, "We are Christian. Should we like native Israelites keep Torah commandments?"
Okay, let me answer that question.
I will answer that question from the Bible.
If you turn your Bible to Ecclesiastes, Ecclesiastes, Ecclesiastes chapter 12, Ecclesiastes chapter 12 says and verse 13, let us Here the conclusion of the whole matter.
Fear God and keep his commandments.
For this is the whole duty of man.
This is the whole duty of man to fear God and keep his commandments. For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing whether it be good or whether it be evil.
I read this passage of scripture to you because I'm highlighting that the Bible doesn't say this is the whole duty of the Jews.
This is the whole duty of Israel.
What it says is this is the whole duty of man.
Now, like what I mentioned in this broadcast today, the purpose of Israel wasn't to be an isolated nation that had its own set of judgments and statutes and commandments unlike those of the rest.
The purpose of Israel was to be a kingdom of priests.
What that means as a firstborn son of God is that Israel was to be an example to the other nations, a teacher of other nations on on how to serve God.
And it's for this reason Israel, including the mixed multitude, was given the commandments, statutes, and judgments that transitions in the new covenant to the world through the gospel.
What change in the new covenant isn't the doing away of the commands.
It is that the commands, the law is in here rather than on the table of stone rather than in the Bible. It's in here.
The Holy Spirit which is the teacher, which is the advocate, is in here.
The kingdom is in here.
The spirit of the living God is in here.
So the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep his commandments.
That wasn't given to Israel. The Sabbath wasn't given to Israel. It was given to man at creation.
Clean and unclean wasn't given to Israel. Though it is in the com covenant given to Israel before Israel ever existed, we see Noah being able to identify there's clean and unclean.
There's stuff I can eat, there's stuff I can't eat.
There's stuff that can be sacrificed to God and be acceptable.
