How This Toxic Relationship Ended In Felony ChargesAdded:
On May 1st, 2026, officers were dispatched following reports of a damaged vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that the damage had been caused by a woman he had previously been involved with.
>> You again, >> crazy, man. Can't stay away from him.
>> All right. So, what happened?
>> So, we got back together because she says she wasn't messing with Dietrich anymore.
>> Who's we?
>> Me and Casey.
>> The girl that I dealt with. I don't know.
>> At the stadium call with you.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> Uh so I don't I thought you I thought it was somebody different that was there.
It was you. Okay. I don't Davis. Yeah.
Okay. I remember you. So anyways, uh she said she not messing with DJ no more and then she connected the phone to my truck and I got nosy. I went through her recent. She she just talked to DJ from the jail and I said, "Listen, >> Dedric is her baby dead or >> she's not pregnant." That I know of. She said she says she's not pregnant.
There's people telling me she is.
>> No, I'm saying that. So the other guy at the stadium was Adrian, right?
>> Oh, no. No, no, no. That's Mackenzie.
That's a different That's Mackenzie. No, no, no, no. I haven't gone back to that one. This was way worse.
>> I got you.
>> I told her, I said, "Listen, I'm just going to drop y'all off. Where y'all want to go? You said you wanted to get dropped off on Duvall earlier. That was original plans. How about I just do that?" She like, "What about the pizza?"
I said, "I paid $50 for that pizza. I'm I'm going to keep it, honestly." And she's like, "Well, why? What's going on?" I said I said, "I just peed that some shit's fake, you know." She's like, "Well, what's going on?" I said, "I don't want to start no drama. I'm just going to drop you off with him right now. I'm just going to drop you off clean. That's it. I don't want no drama.
That's it." She said, "No, tell me." I said, "I don't want to put your business out there." She's like, "Well, it's my friend here. You can just say I said, "You're still messing with Dietrich. I see where he called you from the jail."
She's like, "Oh, you're being nosy and in my phone and this and that." I said, "Just get your stuff." And that's it.
>> Yeah.
>> She said she still has some stuff in the back of my truck. Uh I recall that they took all of it and I tried to leave. She jumped in the back of my truck and started beating my glass back glass.
That's when I called 911.
>> Did she have Is there any damage?
>> Uh I laugh. I don't know. She tried to listen. She tried to climb on my truck and she scratched it all up.
>> Yeah. Where?
>> Back there like in a older >> silver sedan. Yeah.
>> She didn't like the back of the truck and she was like she was like she was punching my glass.
>> Oh, okay.
>> And so I opened the glass to try to get her fist to go through >> instead of hitting it. I'll close it for you right quick.
>> I don't know if you can see where she hit it or not. Yeah, you can see where her fist was.
>> Yeah.
>> You can see right here where she was trying to hit my window.
>> Yeah.
>> She said she's got bruises on her from where I tried to drive off. I'm like, "Yeah, cuz I don't know what you're doing. I'm scared." like, "I want you off my truck." And she's like, I literally parked and said, "Get off of my truck."
>> Yeah.
>> And she didn't want to get off. And then she then I called the cops. And while I was on the phone, 91, she started punching my window.
>> So, I like to press charges for for that, man. Cuz I let it slide the last time. She did some [ __ ] like this. And I told her, I said, "This happens again, bro.
>> I got to press charges cuz I'm tired of this." Cuz her boyfriend had called from jail and I answered. I'm like, "Who is this? Why you calling my girl?" And she said, "Why you going through my phone?
What the I'm playing about my phone. You want to play? Let's play." and grab my stand while try to crash my truck while I'm driving it.
>> Okay.
>> All right, brother. Just uh just hang up for me right here and we'll get this squared away.
>> Officer Harris, Key West Police Department.
>> Okay.
>> Do me a favor. Step out the car, sweetheart.
>> Me?
>> Not you. You step out the car for me.
>> Let me get your license, please. You >> You let me get your license.
>> Yeah. Step out of the car. Wait right here for me. You got your ID with you?
No, I don't. Left it.
>> You left it where?
>> At my house.
>> At your house. All right. Turn off the car. Step out for me. All right. That sidewalk stand over there. We look both ways for your car is free.
>> Signal 14. There's no damage to uh this gentleman's vehicle.
>> I'm going ask both of y'all.
>> Either one of y'all got medical marijuana license.
>> Yes or no? Yes or no?
>> Yes or no? No. Okay. Any marijuana inside that vehicle?
>> No.
But I'm sure you >> will go a lot smoother if you're honest with me. But okay, >> okay. All right. So, the reason why I stopped you guys is because you guys match a description of something that just happened over there at Seaside Drive. Okay, you can wait right here with this officer. You going to walk with me? We can stand and talk right here. What happened at Seaside Drive?
We were out of school. We went seven.
We got us drink. We like food and then like we left. We had our belongings in there. We were asking for a stuff back and then like she tried to go grab it and then like kind of like ran her over and then like um I tried to run up to and like grab my stuff too and then like I got on the car and then he was telling me to get out.
So I was trying to get off and then he was trying to drive off and then I was like, "Go, stop. You're trying to like hurt me and kill me, bro. I'm trying to get off of the car and and you're telling me to get off and you're running off and I'm trying to get off of the car." So I I was every single time I tried to get off um the wheel I was trying to step on the wheel to get off and the wheel was moving so I couldn't get off and so I was telling him to just stop so I can like >> so I can like >> scrapes any bruises >> like bro right here. Yes. Like I hurt myself there. I don't know where I was.
It's just all like I don't know. I'm losing.
>> Does he still have your belongings or what is it?
>> Um I think he still has some of my things. I don't know.
>> Inside of the car. Yeah.
>> Was it in a bag or a left bag?
>> I spake myself right here too.
>> Was it in a white bag or a black bag or >> I don't know. Everything just like I don't know.
>> Did your belongings What What bag is it?
What he have that belonged to you?
>> Um it was my pink bag. I think I think I grabbed that though. I don't know.
>> Okay.
>> I'm pretty sure I did.
>> And then just like this little thing that I have on right here.
>> A pouch.
>> No, it was um for my bathing suit.
little um cover up.
>> Copy. Thank you.
>> What happened over there at Seaside Bro?
>> At the pool.
>> What happened at Seaside Gra?
>> We were just playing music in the pool.
>> Okay. Nothing else happened.
>> Nothing much happened.
>> Nothing much. I said, "What happened?"
This This is my initial interview, right? So, this is when I try to figure out what's going on.
>> I don't know. I was at the pool. I brought my other friend Kayen.
>> Okay.
>> And we were just at the pool. We was playing music and nothing much happened.
just this guy came. He was starting to act weird. His name is um [ __ ] CJ, something like that. I don't know his name. And he was just like I don't know.
He was being disrespectful. He was just like acting weird as like he was being weird towards me and my friend. And it was just like it was just like what? Like like why are you being rude?
>> How How old are you?
>> I'm 16.
>> How old is your friend?
>> She's 18 or 19 I think. But we've known each other since like middle school, like for a long time. And I don't know, he was just acting weird and I just didn't have like I didn't feel comfortable around him. So, I just kind of wanted to go like I wanted to go home. And then he dropped it. He dropped us off back here and I just went with my car and then I just wanted to go.
>> Okay.
>> You guys left the property in his car.
>> H >> You guys left in his car and came back.
>> No, no, we left in my car. Okay.
>> Like we had him drop us off back to my car.
>> Okay.
>> I don't know. It was just a guy being disrespectful and I didn't feel comfortable around him cuz he was like over the age and I was like I'm a minor and I just didn't feel comfortable him being there.
>> All right.
>> What's the uh You said you saw some you found more damage.
>> Yeah, bro. Like right here. She key the out of that dude. Look at that. That's down to the metal, bro. Like the key anywhere else that you >> like. You can feel this, bro. Like you can touch that [ __ ] That's down to the metal, dude. You can feel that, bro.
That's Damn, bro.
I haven't even shut this door yet to look at it. Uh because she was hanging on back here and I'm just like, "Get off my truck. Get off my truck."
>> You see this? All this right here.
>> Oh, that just went off. Okay. You can see a scratch right there.
>> You can see on the window. You can see her fingerprints on the side. You can see the window. She just smacked trying to break my window in her hand.
>> Uh you can see all this all this right here.
>> So, it never gotten physical at any point.
>> No.
>> No.
>> No. How did you guys meet this guy?
>> I don't know. He was just there. Like when I got there, he was just there.
>> Okay.
>> And then I met him from there. Yeah.
>> So you guys never met him and we decided to jump in his truck and go riding with him.
>> Like we saw him at the pool. Like she knows him. She's training with him, but like I didn't know him. Like she knew him for a minute, but like he was nice and all that stuff. And then tonight I'm guessing that he was just acting weird.
I got in this guy because I trust her and she knows him. So like, you know what I mean?
>> She keep the hell out of my truck.
>> What's your name, bud?
>> My name.
>> What's your nickname?
>> Everybody calls him Sebie.
>> Okay, sit. Sit right here. You can I'm talking >> I get the Domino. Domino's comes an hour. We start at like 8. A little after 8 or 8 or 3. Domino's comes like 8:59.
I take the Domino's. I'm planning on just leaving and just not with her cuz I know she's crazy. I shouldn't be here on her. Uh, so then she gets in the truck, finally Chanel gets in the truck, finally Jerobi leaves cuz he lives right over here. And I'm like, "Where we going now?" She's And she's like, "Drop me off at my house and I got to go get my sister." I said, "Okay, so where your sister at?" She's like, "Uh, I don't have her location, but here's the address." She hands me her phone.
>> I start I start driving there.
>> Then she's like, "Uh, take a left here.
Take a right here." That's not where we >> Hey, officer. Quick question. When I when she asked me to go in there and turn off her vehicle, I uh turned off the vehicle. Obviously, I left the keys in there, addiction, but uh I smell marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
And they both claims that uh there shouldn't be no marijuana in the vehicle.
>> Hey, Harris said that there's a strong od of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
All right. Yeah. Can you can you have him uh go ahead and search the vehicle?
So, Williams, since you're smelling weed coming from the vehicle, it gives us ability to search the vehicle. Can you search the vehicle? They will stay with me. Do not make any movements. Okay.
Just kind of hang out with me at this point. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Do you understand?
>> Yeah.
>> All right. I'm still waiting for my other officers to come back cuz there's a lot more to this than when I first showed up.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. But I'm confused. Someone like called on my license plate. Like they called and they told you on my license plate.
>> For your license plate? Yeah. Like, did they call you guys and tell you guys my license plate?
>> I don't know anything about license plate.
>> She gets in her car and I leave. Then she gets on my truck and says there's some more stuff back there. I'm like, "No, get off my truck. I want to leave."
And then I don't even know she's back there until she starts beating on my glass. She like, "Stop, stop, stop." So, I'm stopping. I'm like, "Get out, bro."
And she's literally like like this like on the the side of my bed of my truck like, "Truck, stop. get out and then she started being on my glass. That's when I called.
>> How long have you guys been together for?
>> Off and on for a month or two.
>> Have you known her longer or?
>> No, not at all. I've known her those entire maybe two months cumulatively.
>> Okay.
>> Do you got anything in that car that belongs to her?
>> I took it out. I put it right here.
>> But But okay, so that was that was inside.
>> No, it was in the bed and it's not even hers. It's her friend.
>> But still, it doesn't belong to me.
I don't want it. I didn't even know it back there. I thought she got all her stuff, >> but it was back there and she was trying to get it.
>> She was trying to get her stuff from back there. She was back. Listen here. I told you I'm going to be legit with you.
I don't like to bend no curves and break no coners, but your behavior right now was like going all over the place.
>> No, no, you for real. You I honestly didn't know there. I thought she herself. You're right. It was back there.
>> And you knew she was back there trying to get >> I stopped and I tried to get her to get out. Okay, but I I stopped. That's when I stopped cuz I didn't know she was back there until then. All right. Um, you said only this belongs to.
>> Yeah, that's it.
>> Okay. That gray bag under there, who does what who does that belong to?
>> That's That's hers.
>> Okay.
>> Get her stuff.
>> She can have that.
>> Get her stuff.
>> So, this is that's her bag, too.
>> That's her bag. She got her stuff in there. She can have it.
>> Okay.
>> Don't want it.
>> This is This is where we're at right now. All right. I got your side of the story. My partner Harris here got her side of the story. All right. Based on what she's told her.
>> Uhhuh.
>> All right. I need to ask you specific questions and I'm sure you know how this goes. But before I do that, I'm going to go ahead and read you your rights. All right. Sure.
>> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now?
>> Sure. All right.
>> Kelsey is 19. There's another female with her. How old is she?
>> I have no idea. I just met her today.
>> Okay. So, and correct me if I'm wrong, officer. So, what she explained to her was that I guess you purchased um alcohol for them.
>> Not sure.
>> All right. And on top of the alcohol that you also provided illegal narcotics for them as well.
>> She didn't get it from she got it from a guy named um Striber.
>> We have a witness who stated that they saw you place that bag under that chair.
Now this is where it get easy. You need to be truthful.
>> Yeah.
>> Or you tell a lie.
>> That's my bag. But her stuff in it and I don't want it.
>> Okay.
>> So that's your bag.
>> And that other bag is all >> her stuff. I took it out of the back of my truck once she got off my truck, but I was going to leave it here and call her and say, "Hey, your stuff's over here." That's it.
>> Well, I just was looking on the side of your car to see if I could find any more damage. And there is I can smell the marijuana. You have a medical marijuana card?
>> No, I cannot.
>> Okay, >> that bag is open. I can smell it. Okay, which give us probable cause of searching cuz one, we came out, you was on the crime and then two, not only were you on the crime, bag is yours. And then number three, I can smell the marijuana.
Then you said two is not yours. So, what I'm going to ask you to do right now is go ahead and turn around fish in here and find your bag.
>> Now's the time to be 100% honest, man.
>> That's my That's That's my bag. I'll be honest with you right now. That's my bag, but I gave it to her for her stuff.
She needed another bag. Go ahead.
>> All right, S. Let's walk over to my car.
I'm just put you in there. Just attain for the moment. All right.
Not only did you guys lie to me cuz I asked you and you said you guys didn't.
So you guys lied to me. Open container and you have marijuana on you.
>> All right.
>> Oh, I am honest.
>> No, I I I didn't.
>> She wasn't honest. When I asked you was it anything in the car I should know about? You told me no.
>> Because how could I know when it's in someone else's purse?
>> You already went through my purse. You didn't see nothing in my purse. He went through someone else's purse and then he found it in someone else's purse. I didn't really know if it was on there first. I asked her in front of him. My bad. But I didn't really know.
>> What about the open container? You didn't know about the open container >> of weed?
>> Of alcohol.
>> Of alcohol. Yeah. But y'all didn't ask me about alcohol. You were asking about marijuana.
>> Okay.
>> Cuz you were talking about the smell of marijuana.
>> Okay.
