[00:01:26]Hey everybody, Fox 35 Storm Team.

[00:01:28]Meteorologist Laurel Blanchard here with a update on the radar. Um we are tracking some storms out there, but luckily it only seems to be one severe thunderstorm. Couple of them could get a little on the stronger side through the rest of the afternoon and evening. Uh but really we're just going to be focusing in on the severe thunderstorm warning that's currently in effect over the Ocala National Forest. So, uh, we're going to do another breakdown a little bit later on, but, uh, first and foremost, I want to just take off our special weather statements just so it doesn't get too confusing.

[00:02:00]And I'm going to stop this loop right here. So, right now, we're keeping an eye on this storm again right over the Ocala National Forest in Marian County.

[00:02:08]Uh, this is in effect until 7:15. So, we have about a half hour uh, before this gets expired. Uh it was mainly issued because of the really gusty winds up to 50 mile per hour winds as well as the possibility of some pingpong sized hail.

[00:02:22]So uh gusty winds about 3/4 inch in diameter. So dimesized hail I guess a little bit more um accurate to that. So severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Marian County again over the Ocala National Forest uh right over US Naval Reserve or the Reservation.

[00:02:41]Yeah. and the Ocala National Forest. So, that's what we're seeing there right now, but I do want to zoom out because again, not only are we tracking that.

[00:02:48]This isn't in our DMA, but it is close.

[00:02:51]Uh, in Putham County, Palka seeing a really heavy thunderstorm. This just slowly started to fall apart, but it does look like Crescent City is now starting to get in on some of that very, very heavy heavy rain. Again, not really in our doing uh viewing area. It's just on the border. Uh, so we're just going to be watching that very closely. um if this part of the storm slowly starts to push towards Banel.

[00:03:15]So, zooming out, kind of just taking a look at all of our radars. Gainesville seeing a little bit of a thunderstorm picking up. Heavy rain kind of following through Ocala in the villages, which while we're here, let's actually take a look at our Ocala camera.

[00:03:31]See if anything's happening over there.

[00:03:35]Yeah, heavy heavy rain uh falling out there right now. You can kind of see that from our Ocala camera. I'm not sure which the way this is facing, but it does look like just a whole wall of water as we take a look in Ocala. So, kind of straight ahead. So, again, not sure where this is located right now and also where this is orientated. So, it's a little bit tougher. We don't have this in our system, so I can't get a good look about where this is orientated, but you can just see the heavy rain currently following in Ocala.

[00:04:08]And that is lining up really nicely. So, I believe our camera, it's just west of Ocala, so it's somewhere in here. Um, is where our camera is located. So, probably just seeing this part is my darnest guess of that heavy rain that you can see. Um, so that's what's happening in Ocala right now. just some really consistent heavy rain. But still, we're watching the uh severe thunderstorm in effect for areas of the Ocala National Forest. But not only that, we're seeing areas across Sumpter County getting in on a lot of rain. Um most of this is just going to continue to stay stationary, but some of that those showers could ever so slightly push off to the east or west.

[00:04:48]So those storms currently in Gainesville, Ocala, down towards the villages, central Sumpter County, just heavy, heavy rain happening right there right now. So from the villages down to Bushnell. Yeah, Wildwood, Bushnell, seeing just really heavy rain. couple of lightning strikes over there, but um the showers that are currently over Dade City, uh this area of storms over Zephr Hills as well, uh probably going to continue to push eastward a little bit more as we head through the rest of the evening. But this is what we normally see with these summertime storms. Once those collide and those seab breezes collide, they can kind of just stay stationary, which means there's going to be a lot of rain falling on wherever they're dumping that rain. And it's going to be there for a little bit. And that's exactly what we're seeing here.

[00:05:37]So again, if you are just joining us, we are keeping an eye on the radar because we have a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 7:15 for Marian County.

[00:05:47]And part of that was due to the really gusty winds. So this is our Jacksonville radar to get a good view of that. Good news, not really seeing anything rotating or spinning. That's good news right there. So, most likely uh not going to be tornatic, but still a strong thunderstorm as it is because as we take a look also at the hail again, taking a look at our Jacksonville, doesn't look like there's actually getting picked up on radar, but there was the possibility of seeing about 3/4 size inch hail, which is about the size of a quarter is in the coin.

[00:06:21]Um, so still keeping an eye on that.

[00:06:23]Looks like that lightning count is starting to go down from the past 15 minutes. Let's just check that out real quick.

[00:06:31]Yeah, looks like it's slowly starting to go down. Maybe kind of picking back up a little bit, but for now, yeah, slowly looks like it's starting to collapse a little bit. Looks like though the majority of that rain is continuing to move eastward. So Pearson probably just north of Dand. And if this storm kind of holds together um as it makes its way across 92 kind of following towards I4 may bring some much neededed rain over to Daytona Beach and Port Orange area if it holds together because most of these storms once they kind of break up they're just really falling apart once they kind of get away from the parent storm or after they kind of stretch out like this. So keeping a close eye on that. I'd be surprised if this warning did go fully until what was it? 7:15.

[00:07:25]Yeah, 7:15. I'd be surprised if it went that long. But hey, it's kind of one of those situations where you kind of just need to want to watch these storms as well as possible because with these storms, especially in the summertime, they pick up, they get strong really quick, and then they slowly fizzle out. And that's exactly kind of what we saw with this Palatka uh Putnham County storm just within the past 15 minutes. It really picked up, slowly died down, and they had extended it because it just went into the half hour by just about two minutes.

[00:07:59]So, but that is the only severe thunderstorm warning that we're keeping focus on. Does look like that lightning count is slowly starting to go down, which is good news right there. Um but again does look like a little bit of a storm making its way up towards Gainesville going to be bringing Gainesville in some much needed rain. Uh if you're traveling along I75, o rough times and especially Florida Turnpike as well. Uh we're going to see Villages Leburg probably getting in on that rain.

[00:08:23]As we take a look within the next half hour or 15 minutes or so uh villages probably going to be seeing that much needed rain. Same with Leburg.

[00:08:32]Because what we're going to continue to see is that this line is slowly moving east, but then we are going to see the winds kind of change a little bit as we head through the overnight tonight. So with that, seeing these storms kind of push maybe into Lake County a little bit. So, uh, probably areas of Mount Dora, Eustace, Claremont probably could be getting in on some rain a little bit later on this evening.

[00:08:59]But then late tonight, probably around 10:00, we're going to see this entire storm kind of slowly get pushed up. And you can kind of see it happening right here in Lakeland.

[00:09:10]So, as these storms are also moving east, we're also going to kind of see this boundary that's going to be pushing things up. And you can kind of see it happening. So slowly as these storms are moving east, they're also going to be moving north as well.

[00:09:23]So just a little bit of a heads up there if you do have any plans later on this evening.

[00:09:35]Okay. And they're still going to keep this severe thunderstorm running around through 7:15, but it does look like it's weakening. So good news there.

[00:09:44]And luckily again, it is over the Ocala National Forest. So, good news is hopefully it's not impacting anybody and it's only impacting trees and maybe some critters. But, uh, one thing that did just catch my eye is that we were tracking again not in our viewing area.

[00:09:59]So, that's why we weren't necessarily too focused on that one. We were more focused on the storms popping up just to the south, but there was a severe thunderstorm warning over Palatka. And it does seem like there are a couple of trees down from this storm because this one actually had a pretty significant tail core about a half hour ago. Let's take a look at that.

[00:10:21]Yeah. So, as this storm was just picking up, yeah, maybe even a little bit further than that. Um, there was a lot of lightning with that storm. So, we were just keeping a very close eye on it because again, it's kind of on the border of Flaggler and Putnham County.

[00:10:34]Uh we are under Flaggler County is under our jurisdiction in the Orlando market.

[00:10:38]So we cover uh areas across Flaggler County, but also equally um Jacksonville covers Putham County. So it's kind of very county bycounty based of where we really put our focus. But we were watching this very closely because there was a chance it was going to slowly make its way into Flaggler County. So we were keeping an eye on the Palatka storm, but it does look like it is going to be staying in Putham County.

[00:11:05]All right, kind of just going through everything again. So, taking a look here. We were taking a look from the Jacksonville radar. Just kind of getting another view. And I want to get one more view from our radar.

[00:11:19]Yeah, it's a lightning storm. It's a thunder and lightning storm. And again, with the possibility of some very gusty winds and some hail, uh, still just keeping that possibility of with the danger of this storm because again, with these summertime storms, they pick up really quick. They look angry. They are angry. And then they slowly fizzle out pretty quickly afterwards. But yeah, you can see that lightning count is slowly going down, which is good news right there. Not seeing any like pinks or purples. Maybe a little bit just to the south of Salt Springs and just to the west of Pearson. Not sure if that's going to go severe or not.

[00:11:53]Does look like there's some really heavy rain associated with that. Um, I turned this off at the very beginning, but just out of curiosity.

[00:12:05]Yeah. Okay. Uh, so these little beige boxes, of course, you see the bright yellow box, that's the severe thunderstorm warning. Uh, but there also are special weather statements, which are sometimes storms that, uh, are getting stronger and the National Weather Service just wants to flag. Um, but really they don't get strong enough that there is a severe thunderstorm warning or if they does it gets upgraded to a severe thunderstorm warning.

[00:12:30]But just everything to track and make sure that we're not missing anything on this end. But if anyone is in Marian County, let us know if you can see any storms.

[00:12:42]Uh, someone writing in just uh unfortunate that there's a severe storm out there. They need the rain.

[00:12:52]Uh we're tracking a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Marian County, Florida. Just to the east of Ocala.

[00:13:01]No, no needs to evacuate. Just those very typical summertime like storms.

[00:13:05]Nothing too crazy out there. Uh but still, whenever there's a severe threat, we always just like to hop on, make sure everyone is staying safe and well informed.

[00:13:15]Yeah, it does look like that's slowly starting to fizzle. Um, but I did see someone was what about Orlando? And great question. Yeah, you can kind of see that sunshine peeking back out. Um, does look like this is just rain. So, not seeing any hail over here. But again, kind of on the opposite side of the county is where we were seeing that.

[00:13:34]But I see people asking, "What about Orlando? What about my hometown?" Um, let's take you through what's in store for the rest of the evening. So, I think this is a little overdone. Um, probably too many storms out there for right now, but it's kind of the same picture. So, probably like right about here is where we're at right now. But through the rest of the evening, we're going to slowly see these storms kind of uh slowly stretch out. So, probably Palm Coast, Daytona Beach, you're going to get in on some rain tonight, but nowhere near as severe um or strong as what we're going to be seeing currently out there right now.

[00:14:08]And then once we head into about 11:00, still probably some showers out there.

[00:14:12]And this is going to slowly dissipate through the overnight tonight. Mainly this is going to be affecting areas in Orlando, areas uh north of I4. So Gainesville, Ocala, Palm Coast, Daytona Beach, Spring Hill. Once we head through the overnight tonight, you're probably going to get in on some rain.

[00:14:33]But yeah, that's really what we're tracking out there right now. Let's cut back to the radar. Um through the rest of the weekend, we're going to kind of see a similar pattern tomorrow. Kind of similar rain chances in the same area, too. Uh so Gainesville, the Villages, Lakeland area, most likely going to be seeing the storms, Daytona, Coco, Melbourne, more of an isolated chance. So, with the heavy rain that we're seeing out there right now and then on top of the rain that we're probably going to be seeing tomorrow, um wouldn't be surprised if there is um some sort of flood advisory or some sort of flood notice because currently, oh, excuse me. Um, currently we're seeing a good amount of storms right there and with the more rain added tomorrow as well as Gainesville, The Villages, Lakeland being in um, severe and extreme drought conditions, uh, with a lot of rain like this, it's probably going to lead to some very isolated areas of flooding.

[00:15:25]So, just a heads up for that.

[00:15:30]And yeah, uh, Jeff on YouTube, it is overdone a lot compared to what we're seeing right now. Models are having trouble kind of really lining things up.

[00:15:37]Um, but I wouldn't be surprised if we do see a shower kind of lingering through the overnight tonight as everything kind of works its way north into Gainesville and Jacksonville.

[00:15:51]And just doing another check on Facebook, the folks just writing in saying thank you. Much appreciated, y'all.

[00:15:59]And it does look like there's a little bit of a core kind of coming back with this storm. So, I'm just going to watch it back for the past 15 minutes. does look like it was kind of stressing out, but that little bit of the center.

[00:16:12]Might just keep this severe for like the next 15 minutes.

[00:16:20]Looks like they're keeping it for now.

[00:16:22]It does look like there's very heavy rain. I do want to switch over, see if there's any hail and we'll see if we can get a good eye on what the wind speeds are over there. But it does look like this lightning count kind of picks up, slowly dies down, picks up again.

[00:16:39]So, I think it might be trying to produce hail, but not totally sure yet.

[00:16:45]Got to do some more digging around it.

[00:16:46]But let's take a look at our storm relative velocity. Does look like there's a lot. Looks like the wind speeds are actually dying down, but it did look like I'm going to pause this real quick.

[00:17:02]Okay, possibly up to 30 mile per hour winds is what we were seeing with this storm.

[00:17:08]Sustained winds and that's not even including the gusts. So significant storm for sure, but not looking at anything crazy when it came to rotation. So that's good news right there.

[00:17:18]This was at about 15 minutes ago and still kind of seeing this little bit of what seems to almost be a hail core kind of coming back. So, heads up Valuchia County because it does look like this storm is kind of slowly inching this way. Let's see if we can track it.

[00:17:38]Yeah, this is where it kind of stays tough. Um, especially with these storms because again, we kind of talked about this at the very beginning is that when we see these summertime storms, we see the seab breezes collide. Um, all of these storms kind of blow up in the atmosphere and then they kind of stay stationary. They kind of stay in this line. what we're going to be seeing either whether it's in the central part of the peninsula, whether it's along I75 quarter, along I 95 quarter, they kind of stay stationary and that's exactly kind of what we're seeing here. So even though Valuchia County, it does look like as this storm is weakening, some of that rain may slowly dip into Pearson um probably making its way just north of Dand. Um but the majority in the center of this storm, I wouldn't be surprised if it stays in Marian County over the next half hour.

[00:18:26]Oops.

[00:18:28]But yeah, looks like National Weather Service is going to continue this until 7:15. Nothing else about that storm uh has been put out. So, good news right there.

[00:18:38]But I am curious because the storm just to the north, Salt Springs does look like it's getting picked up a little bit. So, I'm going to pop back on.

[00:18:45]Actually, special weather statements are still on. Doesn't look like there's anything more down here. So, that's good.

[00:18:52]And you can kind of see this like slow motion upwards. So northwards. So as these storms are kind of slowly crawling northwards, we kind of have this south ever so slightly southwest southwesterly flow. Most of the winds coming up directly from the south this way currently. So these are going to help kind of push these storms along I75 as we head through the rest of the evening.

[00:19:18]And again, that's just going to bring that much needed rain across Citrus, Ernando, um areas across Gainesville and Ocala, bringing in that rain.

[00:19:27]But this is look from our Melbourne radar. Let's kind of switch back to our Jacksonville radar, see what's going on.

[00:19:33]Yeah, it does look like there's a little bit of a hail core coming back. So, not concerned, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they did extend this severe thunderstorm warning in a little bit. Um, but real quick, just back to my point from what we were making kind of back here. Um, as these storms are kind of all moving northward, uh, the severe threat really goes down because especially Gainesville, Ocala, the villages, you're getting rain right now or have already seen rain. Um, so there's going to be a lot less energy, especially over these areas um, and areas that have already seen storms just due to these storms kind of eating everything up. They're not going to have too much more to build off of. So, the severe threat goes down um as we head through the rest of the evening.

[00:20:24]But good news, um this isn't going to lead to uh any tropical um tropical uh systems immediately. However, um we were talking about this at 5:30 that this is kind of going to be the pattern over the next couple of days.

[00:20:43]So, uh we see this high pressure that's going to be setting up off to the east.

[00:20:47]Low pressure is going to start to set up over the Gulf. So, this is quite literally going to be funneling in a lot of moisture that's down in uh the southern Caribbean Sea. So, all of this moisture is quite literally getting funneled into Florida. And there is a chance. It's very, very low. Um, but there could be the chance of something trying to form. So, this is kind of midweek. This is when we really start to see our rain chances go up. And you see this low pressure system that sets up in the Gulf that has a chance of forming.

[00:21:19]And as it kind of makes its way over Florida, you can kind of see that chance kind of bubble up at around 10%. So, this is nowhere near in a lock by any means, but there is the possibility of maybe something uh trying to get going um as we take a look at June 3rd. So, start of hurricane season um is June 1st, but for at least the next seven days, we're clear. No activity expected for the next seven days, but uh all of that moisture is really amping up our rain chances. Taking a look to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and even into next weekend. So, we're going to be pretty much in for a very wet stretch from about Wednesday to probably next Monday is what I was seeing is that that we're really going to be seeing for um that. But, uh this is by no means anything is going to form. Um the first and foremost, this is kind of just what models are suggesting that something may try to form, but there's no actual this is going to happen. So, don't take anything by the book quite yet. Usually we have a much better idea when we're at about two three days out, which would put us about Tuesday if this thing is really going to have any real chance of development, but that's what just models are trying to suggest right now. But again, that is nowhere near a lock. Um, taking a look out there currently.

[00:22:40]But let's check back in on our analysis.

[00:22:42]We have about just shy of 10 minutes left.

[00:22:47]does look like it's I looks like there's a good amount of lightning trying to get picked back up again, but it also does look like we're going to continue to see this storm till the last minute. Does look like between these two storms right here. Uh starting to see lightning count pick up a little bit more. Sometimes that means something is happening within the storm. Sometimes that usually means the storm is breaking down.

[00:23:13]Let's get a good look.

[00:23:15]Really gusty winds in this one, especially that northern one. Uh just circling this. Not totally okay. Doesn't look like it's rotating at all, which is good.

[00:23:39]Sometimes Oh, lights flickered again.

[00:23:41]Benny, where are you?

[00:23:48]My apologies. I thought you were for some reason you were in like Alabama.

[00:23:58]But Benny on YouTube, let us know where you're watching in because it said that your lights just flickered.

[00:24:03]But really just watching these two storms. There is a storm that looks like it's picking up uh right by Salt Springs. It's not under any advisories quite yet. Wasn't really seeing any uh crazy pickups but in wind because really what drives severe thunderstorm warning to get called are the gusty winds as well as the possibility of hail.

[00:24:26]Okay, someone writing is in South Carolina that's watching in. Hey Britney, thanks for watching.

[00:24:33]I don't know if I'm going to be able to pick it up, but yeah, Columbia, South Carolina. You can see all that lightning. If I switch back to our national radar very briefly. Yeah, you're going to seeing a lot of rain out there right now.

[00:24:50]But yeah, we're seeing a good amount of lightning kind of between these two storms. It's been staying consistent, kind of picking up a little bit, dying down a little bit, picking back up, dying down. So, these storms are kind of just feeding off the energy that's in this area, but it looks like we have about 5 minutes left.

[00:25:13]Just going to do a quick check on our National Weather Service.

[00:25:30]Quick check on our National Weather Service chat. Yep. So, they're keeping this in effect until 7:15. No word if they're going to extend it or not.

[00:25:54]Yeah. So, kind of just doing a quick check on all national weather services that cover central Florida.

[00:26:01]That's in Tallahassee.

[00:26:03]And that's in Tallahassee. Cool.

[00:26:06]Uh, but right now we're kind of seeing this little bit of a boundary start to form. So, you can kind of see it right here. There's Oops.

[00:26:20]It's kind of two parts. There's this part right here, and then we're also kind of like this kind of slowly push north.

[00:26:27]So, things might be pushing west. But, uh, National Weather Service did say that we could be seeing some storms kind of pop up across central Lake County and areas west of Orlando. Um, and then areas across Daytona Beach. Just heads up, you might be seeing some of that rain as well.

[00:26:50]Yeah, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this did get extended. We're just seeing a lot of rain just getting dumped over the Ocala National Forest. It does look like this is trying to pick a hill core back up, but it is slowly starting to spread out.

[00:27:03]So, it's a little bit tough to kind of figure out what's going on sometimes with these storms that just don't move.

[00:27:09]Um, yeah, sometimes it's almost like you got to just wait and see and just actively make sure you're paying attention to it because yeah, it does look like there's a little bit of a hail core trying to pick up. I am looking from the Melbourne radar because then looking from the Jacksonville radar, it doesn't look that impressive. So, it's def making sure you get different views of everything is a little tough. Oh, Benny the Penny saying, um, I'm in Orlando. No storm yet. I don't know why the power is flickering. I'm sheltering in place.

[00:27:38]Benny, you don't need to shelter in place yet. Um, and probably you won't need to shelter in place through the rest of the evening. Uh, if you're in Orlando, this is here. all the storms mainly along I75. Um you could get a shower or maybe a thunderstorm a little bit later on. Uh but most likely these storms will not be severe by the time it makes its way into Orlando if it even does. Most of the rain going to be west of Orlando and kind of north of I4. Um in here um power was flickering with someone writing in from Columbia, South Carolina. So that is they are not watching for at least this storm report.

[00:28:18]Yeah, sometimes it's kind of confusing to kind of keep everyone writing in. So, I just try to do my best to see if I can remember.

[00:28:30]But, thanks for writing in, Benny. I appreciate it. But good news, nothing is happening over Orlando right now. And with proof of that, here's our Sunrust North camera. It's sunny, it's cloudy, it's hot, it's humid. Uh, but no storms out there right now. Maybe you could see a storm a little bit later on today, but no need to shelter in place right now. I didn't mean to give you the wrong impression.

[00:28:56]Let's check out what's happening. We got about 3 minutes left in our severe thunderstorm. Uh, so this is where it kind of gets a little bit tricky sometimes. So, um, real quick, kind of inside baseball. You guys are getting all the behind the scenes secrets today. So, I'm going to stop this real quick. Kind of gets tricky because again with our National Weather Service offices, just like our viewing area, there's Putham County. And this is the I'm gonna redraw this. Hold on.

[00:29:39]Yeah, like I said, you guys are getting all the inside secrets. So, here's Flaggler County kind of coming over between Valuchia and Putnham County, Marian County, and then over to Lake County. So, the tough thing is sometimes between National Weather Services and where National Weather Services kind of share uh a boundary. So with Marian County, if you guys are ever curious about what the n your local National Weather Service office is saying or if you want to know any more information, Ocala, Jackson or Ocala, Gainesville, Jacksonville is your local office. But if you are in Valuchia or Flaggler County, Melbourne is your office. So sometimes it's a little tricky. Um, but you can kind of clearly see the majority of the worst of the storm is on the Jacksonville side. So, Jacksonville is giving any advisories on this storm.

[00:30:36]However, if this was just over the border, then it would be a Melbourne issuing those advisories, which is why you can kind of see the special weather statement issued for just Valuchia County and not areas anywhere across uh Marian County. So, yeah, a little bit of inside baseball for you.

[00:31:01]But I see a couple people writing in on Facebook. So, as we kind of wait out the last minute or two of this severe thunderstorm warning, let's kind of just go through the rest of the evening again. Um, mainly if you are west of Orlando, um, you're probably going to be seeing rain at some point tonight. So, taking just another quick look at the map that I whipped up, Gainesville, Ocala, Villages, Claremont, you're already seeing the rain. Um, if you're west of Orlando, so Aopka, you might be getting in on a couple of showers later on tonight, stressing the later on part.

[00:31:33]Um, but specifically here is what we can see at least through the rest of the evening. So, again, uh, does look like this model is a little bit overdone. It seems like it's a smidge off from what the timing of these storms are right now. Uh, but areas west of Orlando, looks like areas across CMI may get in on a shower a little bit later on tonight.

[00:31:54]But you can see north of I4, west of Orlando going to be mainly the possibility of seeing these showers.

[00:31:59]This is 10 p.m.

[00:32:03]and things slowly fizzle out and just turn into a couple of showers by late late tonight.

[00:32:09]But pretty much the window is from now until about 900 PM is when we could be seeing another severe thunderstorm. So just making sure we are keeping tabs on everything. And it does look like they cancelled the severe thunderstorm warning for uh Marian County. I'm going to just do a double quick check to make sure that it's not going to be reissued.

[00:32:41]And again, so when we are actually talking about severe thunderstorm warnings, it does get a little tricky sometimes because it's not the lightning count, even though it seems like um lightning would be a factor in what makes a storm severe. It is mainly the wind gust and it's also the possibility of producing hail. Currently, this storm and again this is the one that was under the severe thunderstorm warning uh was producing hail. Now it's no longer and the winds aren't as strong either. So taking a look hail switching to Jacksonville may have produced like a smidg of hail just a second ago. Okay, never mind. It didn't.

[00:33:18]I just I was looking at the wrong radar.

[00:33:20]So yeah, it does not look like it's producing any more hail. At least radar indicated.

[00:33:28]And then hopping back over to our relative velocity.

[00:33:32]Let's check out the wind speeds of this.

[00:33:35]Take a look at our base velocity.

[00:33:38]Okay, now it's only producing about 30 mph winds. So it really needs to be upwards of 45 mile hour, 50 mph winds in order for a storm to be severe. So, for now, uh, I'm going to wrap this up.

[00:33:50]Still going to be tracking through the rest of the evening. As of right now, uh, maybe we could see a severe thunderstorm warning, but not really banking on anything too much more than that. Um, but of course, we will keep you posted if you need anything. Again, everything is going to push eastward. So, Claremont Villages, Mount Dora, Eustace, Tavar's, um, Apopka, and I wouldn't be surprised if Disney got included in on uh got included in on some of that rain later on tonight. Uh, but we'll slowly see these storms kind of push northward.
