Bath Abbey, a historic church in England, contains remarkable architectural features including Norman foundations dating back nearly a thousand years, beautifully carved stone memorials honoring notable figures like Bishop James Montague (early 1600s), and intricate ceiling artwork that demonstrates the exceptional craftsmanship of medieval artisans. The abbey's museum, included with entry, showcases artifacts such as a 1500s angel head carving and the Benefactor's Book (1618-1625), which records donors who helped rebuild the abbey. These elements collectively illustrate how Bath Abbey serves as a living museum of religious, artistic, and historical heritage spanning over a millennium.

Moments like this are simple, but they mean so much.
We were heading towards Bath Abbey and on the way I found this little nice place to sit. So I just paused for a moment, sat down and watched the city, people walking by, buses passing and the beautiful buildings all around.
As we go inside Bath Abbey, we saw the ticket details here for Adults it's £9.
For students £7 and for children between 5 to 15 it's £5.
There is also an option for a tower tour and audio guides if you want to learn more while exploring.
Everything is simple and easy so you can just enjoy the experience inside.
When we walk inside, we started to notice these beautiful stone memorials on the walls.
These are made to remember people who lived many years ago. their names, their lives and their stories.
Some of them are buried here and others are honored with these details, carvings.
You can see the designs and writings.
Each one carefully made to keep their memories alive.
Standing here, it feels very quiet and respectful.
Did you see that? I'm actually walking on glass. Right beneath it, there is a history from hundreds of years ago, even close to a thousand years.
This is part of the old Norman foundation from an earlier church that once stood here in Bath Abbey.
It's kind of unreal knowing that all this has been here for so long and now we are just walking right above it.
This is the tomb of James Montigue. He was an important bishop in the early 1600s and also concerned to the royal court of King James first. His tomb is beautifully carved with detailed stonework that shows the respect people had for him.
I couldn't stop looking up. The ceiling inside Bath Abby is just stunning. So much detail, so much work. It's not just a ceiling. It's like a piece of art above here.
While I was walking through Bath Abbe, I came across another incredible tomb, the resting place of Lady Jane Walker.
And honestly, I was completely amazed.
The carving on this tomb are unbelievably detailed. Every small pattern, every small design feels like it was made with so much care and skill.
It's hard to believe this level of craftsmanship was created so long ago.
There were so many memorials inside the bath abbey and it was actually hard to take them all in. Each one tell its own story and you could easily spend hours just walking around and treating them.
After that, we went into the museum. And the best part is it didn't cost anything extra.
It's already included with your ticket when you buy it from the front desk at Bar. So, let's go and hunt some history.
Honestly, can you believe it? These are the same stone masons from nearly a thousand years ago. And then my I caught something incredible.
The head of an angel carved around the 1500s.
Standing there, it is really felt like history was right in front of me.
Look at this. They actually let my husband to try one of the traditional hats. It was such a fun moment getting to step into little bit of history.
Here we are looking at the actual floor of the mid eel north closter walk built between 1136 and 1166.
This limestone's pavement was covered walkway that ran around the large ornamental garden known as the cloister.
Oh my god, look at this book. This is the benefactor's book of Babi created between 1618 and 1625.
It's honestly incredible.
These pictures, the handwritings, the letters, they are so detailed and so well preserved even after all these centuries. I can't believe something this old look this beautiful.
This book record all the people who gave money and gifts to help prepare the rebuilt the bath abay.
After exploring all the beautiful exhibits, we popped into Aby's gift shop. It was full of lovely souvenirs, books and little treasures to remember our visit. We had to such wonderful time at Balabi.
You treat me right.
Take a chance. Let me run.
I can 5.
>> Yay.
Next, we headed to iconic Royal Crescent, one of the most beautiful places in the bath.
Look at this huge, perfect grass lawn. I couldn't resist. I ran across like a kid.
The stunning curved terrace of Georgian houses was built between 17 67 and 1774.
It's a masterpiece of classical architecture. We walked around to admire the buildings, but unfortunately the exhibition inside was closed that day.
Then we went for lunch at Thai balcony restaurant. No need for reservations. We just walk in. Oh my gosh, the moment I spend inside, I felt like I was actually in Thailand. The interior design is absolutely stunning. The prices are really reasonable and the food was so delicious.
From that day on, Thai food has become one of my absolute favorite.
