[00:01:01]So, we're going to see what's going on with uh both of these breaking news and uh we're definitely seeing some shaking going on. Yesterday, we talked about 6.something in Chile. So, there's been a lot of 6.plus going on, guys. A lot of them. And uh we're going to see what's going on with the West Coast and Italy.

[00:01:39]An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 jolted Southern Italy at 12, excuse me, 22:12 GMT time on Monday, June 1st, 2026, according to reports from the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences.

[00:02:01]Initial assessment of the seismic event are still emerging.

[00:02:07]Now, the current detail available.

[00:02:09]Number one, magnitude, a preliminary reported between 6.1 and a 6.5 by global monitoring agencies.

[00:02:19]Uh number two, it says here, time, struck late Monday evening local time. Number three, location.

[00:02:29]The epicenter is localized to the southern region of the Italian peninsula with more, excuse me, with some agencies tracking the movement near coastal areas.

[00:02:43]Because this event occurred very recently, local civil protection agencies are actively checking for structural damage or injury. So, we're still waiting for some updates here, guys. We're still waiting for some updates here.

[00:03:05]So, it was downgraded at 6.5 to 6.1.

[00:03:25]Once again, 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck off southern Italy coast uh early. And I don't think this is a tsunami. I think that was like Well, it seems like it struck the ocean.

[00:03:36]Uh once again, Tuesday local time, according to the German Research Center for Geosciences.

[00:03:43]The earthquake struck at a depth of 250 km. So, that's one of the updates. 250 km, that is really really deep. So, there ain't going to be no tsunami. But, uh it's it's very important to also talk about this cuz this type of earthquake could trigger something else. Tectonic plates has shifted. Uh there were no immediate report of injuries or damage.

[00:04:14]That's like I think um I think that's like 180 mi.

[00:04:49]Says here, "Boom! A deep magnitude 6.2 earthquake just struck southern Italy at a depth of 247 km. Only very light shaking was felt by some as a result of the depth of the hyper center. Now, this magnitude 6.2 follows the magnitude 6.0 that ruptured a few months ago on March 9th, 2026 at a depth of 375 km." Man, that's really deep. Um the two largest quake to hit Italy in a decade have both been near the back arc spreading center of the Marsili volcano. A quite deep uh something is definitely happening.

[00:05:37]So, you got a 6.5, which is now 6.2, and then 6.0. So, something's going on out there in this region.

[00:05:48]Hopefully, it's not no uh very powerful volcano, but uh this type of earthquake is very important to keep an eye on.

[00:07:17]4.1, but give me a second here. So, it says here we got some update. A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Southern California near Johannesburg on Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 3:34 p.m.

[00:07:33]local time. The USGS reported the epicenter was located roughly 11 mi west-southwest of Johannesburg at a shallow depth of 3.9 miles. Wow. So, yeah, a lot of people felt that one.

[00:07:48]Uh while there have been no immediate reports of structural damage or injury, the shallow nature of the event allowed light shaking to ripple outward across the region. So, magnitude 4.1 initially logged between 3.8 and 4.06 by regional networks.

[00:08:11]Epicenter 11 miles west-southwest of Johannesburg, um California.

[00:08:18]Uh the depth approximately 3.9 miles.

[00:08:22]Felt area, light shaking reported locally and extending south into areas like Palmdale or Palmdale, excuse me.

[00:08:38]So, this area of Kern County has been experiencing a noticeable cluster of low-level seismic activity over the past week. Prior to today's main jolt, the USGS tracked several smaller tremors nearby, including a 3.4 magnitude earthquake on May 28 and a minor 2.1 magnitude tremor early Monday morning.

[00:09:09]Safety guidelines aftershocks, residents in the area should expect and prepare for potential aftershocks. If you experience sub- subsequent shaking, remember these critical uh safety protocols. It says here, if indoors, drop, cover, and hold on under a sturdy desk or table. Stay away from glass windows and exterior walls. Do not run outside while the ground is moving.

[00:09:41]Number two, if outdoors, move immediately into the open area from power lines, trees, and buildings. Number three, if driving, pull over to a clear location, set the parking brake, and remain inside the vehicle until shaking stop.

But we got a breaking news. It seems like something is going down.
