Insulin is released in response to all caloric intake, not just carbohydrates, as its primary function is to transport energy and fuel into cells; therefore, for optimal growth hormone peptide results, individuals must maintain a truly empty stomach by avoiding protein, fat, and carbohydrate consumption for at least 60 minutes after injection.

What Actually Triggers Insulin (It's Not Just Carbs)Added:
One of the biggest pieces of confusion that people have about insulin and the way that your body responds to food is thinking that carbs are what trigger the release of insulin. And that's not true.
Anything that has calories induces the release of insulin into your blood.
Insulin's job is to transport, we'll say, resources, energy, fuel. In most cases, yes, that is going to be sugar in your blood. Just because you didn't eat carbs doesn't necessarily mean that when you eat, insulin's not going to be released. When we talk about being fasted, when we do growth hormone-related peptides, that includes the consumption of protein and fats, not just carbs. Bottom line is, if you're doing any type of growth hormone-related peptide, you need to make sure that your stomach is empty and/or you're not going to eat for at least 60 minutes after you inject.
