This commentary insightfully frames racism as a psychological defense mechanism and views the community's radical response as a reclamation of dignity. It captures the inevitable explosion that occurs when systemic disrespect meets collective resistance.

Whyte RACIST JAMAICAN HOTEL WAS BURNT TO ASHES BY ANGRY JAMAICANS in KingstoneAdded:
So, Asians and Europeans open up a hotel or if they build and open a hotel in Jamaica and discriminated against the locals.
And that being said, and that and that being the word going on in Jamaica, they burned the hotel to the ground.
And I got I just want to say this.
What the [ __ ] is wrong with you?
Why would you open up a hotel in a country or island and this and that's full of that's that's full of of black people and you still discriminate against them.
That's stupid.
It's like me opening up a restaurant in China or Korea or or any or any country in Asia and said no Asians allowed.
Doesn't that say something?
You guys are constantly trying to trying to single out black people everywhere you go.
You going to do it in their own land?
It's like y'all y'all just asking y'all just asking for it. Y'all just asking for it. Y'all asking to be to be burnt.
Y'all asking for your stuff to be burnt down and be torn apart.
And I can say I'm all satisfied. This is what we need This is actually what we need. You are not going to go into somebody else's country and disrespect them. Okay? You guys are just constantly exploiting people, but you really don't give a [ __ ] about them.
You don't You don't give a [ __ ] You don't give a [ __ ] about them. You only You only give a [ __ ] about yourself.
Remember, you guys wouldn't even be there if it weren't for them anyway.
Y'all could at least show show them some appreciation and start showing showing some respect and and uh and courtesy.
Like like what the [ __ ] is wrong with you?
Now you guys Now you guys Now you guys got got what you deserve.
You're asking for it.
You can't go to somebody else's country and disrespect them like that. Okay?
That [ __ ] has to stop and it's going to stop. Shout out to Jamaica. You guys earned my respect. Shout out to all my brothers out there that's fighting I mean that's fighting against uh against oppression and racism, man.
That's what we're still fighting for today. That's why we need stuff like this, okay?
Although I don't condone violence, but you guys are finally like doing something. Well, you guys have been doing something, so I'm just saying, so So yeah, shout out to them. So yeah, shout out to my brothers in Jamaica and shout out to my brothers all over the world, man, that's still that's fighting this [ __ ] okay?
You're not going to keep disrespecting us.
That's first and foremost, all right?
So, let me know in the comments what y'all think.
And hit me my hit me up.
Follow me, like, subscribe.
Good morning, good evening, and good afternoon, Africans. I hope you're faring well where you are.
Racist Jamaican hotel burnt to ashes.
Yep.
Yep, it was cuz it was racist.
It is racist because it feels it's more important than the population of the black people in Jamaica. For who escaped from the slave master, they hijacked a ship.
I don't know what they did with the captain. I as I explained earlier in another video, I don't know what they did with the captain.
But mysteriously, they hijacked this ship and sailed it all the way to an island that is today known as Jamaica.
One of the Caribbean islands, right?
They went ahead and built a tribe.
The tribe today exists and it's called the Maroon tribe.
When we look at the Maroon tribe, we'll see a symbol of resistance. We'll see a symbol of anti-racism. We see a symbol of freedom, right?
And that is why I believe this racist hotel was burnt down cuz it's there to bring back the pain that the Maroon people underwent.
If you don't know maroon, this is this color of my shirt. Is it nice?
This color of my shirt is maroon. So, I stand together with the Maroons of Jamaica. Let's dive in and get to listen why this racist hotel was burnt down.
Hey guys. So, I posted a video last week talking about, you know, the Jamaicans burned this racist hotel down because they did not want any black people to um check into their hotel. So, it happened in Port Antonio, Jamaica and the people who did it was some Caucasian and some Chinese. So, they built an hotel and also they sectioned a piece off the private beach and said that they did not want any black people to be included.
So, they just kind of like, "Yep, we're going to do our own thing. We're going to section off a piece of the beach and we're going to just build an hotel.
We're going to use these black people to build to help us build the hotel and then we're going to say they're not included." Oh, yeah. So, the Jamaicans like, "We're not having it. So, we're going to burn it down." And that's exactly what happened. So, I do have a video of the fire, and I also want to let you guys know it happened in Port Antonio. I know most of you guys have questions. I can't answer all of you guys at once, so please bear with me. I'll try my very best to kind of, you know, answer as much So, disclaimer, I'm not saying the activity that occurred in this video is good or that it should be applauded, but I will say I understand.
In Port Antonio, Jamaica, this hotel was burnt to the ground because the owners of the hotel basically put a policy saying that no Jamaicans could stay there. Only Chinese and Caucasian guests were allowed to stay and utilize the private beach. Now, it should be clarified that the owners of the hotel are not Jamaican themselves and are believed, I don't know for sure, but are believed to be Chinese investors from, you know, China.
Anyways, here's the video. Burn that to the ground.
Look at that guy. That was For my weak mind.
Now, I'm not saying what they did was correct, but if you know Jamaicans, they do not take ish like that. So, what do y'all think? Were they right or wrong?
Also, it should be noted that not a single person was hurt or injured in this incident, to my knowledge. If someone has other knowledge, feel free to Hey guys, so I posted a video last week talking about, you know, the Jamaicans burned this racist hotel down um because they did not want any black people to in um checked into their hotel. So, it happened in Port Antonio, Jamaica, and the people who did it was some Caucasian and some Chinese. So, they built an hotel, and also they sectioned a piece of the private beach and said that they did not want any black people to be included, so they just kind of like, "Yep, we're going to do our own thing.
We're going to section off a piece of the beach, and we're going to just build a hotel. We're going to use these black people to build to help us build the hotel, and then we're going to say they're not included. Oh, yeah. So, the Jamaican was like, "We're not having it. So, we're going to burn it down." And that's exactly what happened. So, I do have a video of the fire and I also want to let you guys know it happened in Port Antonio. I know most of you guys have question. I can't answer all of you guys at once. So, please bear with me. I'll try my very best to kind of, you know, answer as much I can give you the craziest experience I've had as it relates to both racism and classism in Jamaica. It was during COVID. Me and and six of my friends had broken the the no movement day. We're hanging out at Cherry Hill. Five of them were were they looked of of a certain complexion. Everybody lives within 30 seconds of where that thing was, right? I was the only one who was driving to come there.
When I got up there and 20 minutes 30 minutes later a police squad car came.
All of the my friends my five friends were searched. Their cars were stripped down. When it came to my turn they asked me if I was okay, if I knew I was breaking the thing, if I knew how to go back home. And they said, "All right.
Well, we're just going to follow you and make sure you get in and and everything cool." And then I reached home and then stopped me at the gate and said, "Why you up on the road and them them thing there?" I said, "Well, what we doing here now?" And then I said, "I won't do it again." And then they drive and then drive off and leave me. Now, those police officers didn't look like me.
We have to talk about colorism in the Caribbean and I can first hand speak about it in Jamaica because I know there are some Jamaicans who look down on people because they are darker skin, which is just insane to me. And let me give you guys a perfect example. I remember I had someone ask me what color I want Gina to be like what if I want her to have my eyes, what you know? And I said to them that the only thing I want her to have is cool, dark, a nice cool brown dark complexion. That's all I want. And the person was like, "What?
Why would you want that?" And I'm like, "What do you mean why wouldn't I want that?" I remember when [snorts] I did that video on social media stating that when I saw Gina when when I saw Gina for the first time as a baby and I saw that she was looking white, I was so disappointed until I picked her up and checked her ear and saw that her skin is going to have a nice cool brown complexion. And people in the comments was asking me "Why would I say that? That is so weird." Because I want my child to be darker skin.
And that just blows my mind. I know it doesn't only happen in Jamaica. It happens in different Caribbean islands as well. And to me, we need to have these conversations more because some I've seen where when somebody's in an argument and say for instance the other person is darker skin, that's the first thing they're coming after. "Oh, you're black and ugly like tar." You get what I'm saying?
And we need to break from those stuff because it's so sad. It can't honestly mess with people confidence and that is what sometimes stems people to bleach, right? Um yeah, there's a whole conversation.
Um you know no one come near me up in the comments, but I don't care. It's just the truth.
Miss I remember when when income down my house when one woman come over by my house some year from me and come with US dollar say "What is she a come from?"
And I said to her I said "I don't take US dollar. Cash." Cuz me there's no way for me to check it.
Um we don't have pin and we don't have the pin. You know the pin we used to check it. Me laugh.
So she said to me she said "So what she going to do now because you come all the way from Ocho Rios?" That them spend on Ocho Rios. Pay US people spend on Ocho Rios. Me say "Well, um Kingston we come from."
Me not take US dollar. So she said "What me going to do?" Me say "What one Western Union there right across the road?" Cuz the average Jamaican there from Preston Plaza the Western Union there in Pavilion Plaza. You know say Pavilion they're right across the road from Pristine Plaza. So she said, "All right, but you have to come back up here." I tell my assistant. So my assistant said, "Follow her. Carry her ear. Follow her." She will change the money and just take the money and call me right after. Well, the assistant come The assistant come back with the ear, no money.
So the woman said me too black for her to go and sue.
Guys, with the affair laugh, so me say, "All my clients are sitting on a chair doing it." She said, "Oh, tall and tiny." What she mean by that?
So one of them too tall and tiny.
And I good thing I the assistant she tell her that I'm not me because one of them was a woman, you know.
Why people feel like say colorism colorism Why?
It makes some of them very delusional because some of them feel like say too no brown automatically look good and no automatically You know what brown people feel like? They feel like say the ugliest brown person look better than the prettiest black dark-skinned person.
And that's kind of That's so far the truth.
The woman feel like say too she light-skinned and me dark-skinned. She have one of palm and me not supposed to stand up not supposed to stand up for myself and me not supposed to say Oh, if me feel like just take it because I'm a dark-skinned. Like what you mean, lady?
Me Me but me being dark-skinned has never stopped anything.
Because me not me not dark and ugly.
And when you dark-skinned you You have pretty dark-skinned and have pretty light-skinned and have ugly light-skinned people just the same. So when you see the woman she big and look like a transgender man.
A transgender woman. We never know Look like one man.
I bet she feel like say too she light-skinned. She can't come say "Oh, me You too black for her to go and sue." What you mean by that? Oh, first of all me never let her go and sue me.
But even if me did not go and sue me, even if me did not go and sue me, what my skin What my skin color have to do with nothing?
What me What What me being dark-skinned and light-skinned have to do with anything?
Because it's about a very delusional.
But I would say I'm firm and nobody I love my skin.
Me never want to be no lighter. Only problem I have with my skin is the fact that me have some bum bum parts of hyperpigmentation. But me want but any day my skin I don't want one dark tone.
Any day my skin I don't want dark tone.
When you care not dark to me.
What do you mean? What do you mean my two black friend I go ask a lady?
Transgender man?
They tell us what they have business you go do some things you know people if they say they walk by you they don't walk by you they care walk by anything.
Be a killer is the matter with you. But it's a good got thing I mean assistant she tell that they are not me cuz I would have fixed her you see.
I would have fixed her I said I about to not watch you.
Cuz first of all my client I make me know that she go over Western Union and she reach out up on the front of the line I open up and spin like you got in and come out you don't matter what year I live.
Why? Because you can't give the people them the money again with no real I mean I want to leave come out front what you going to give your bad money and take me ear and gone with it and leave your bad money give me.
Brighter or darker. But me two black friend I go ask so we not have to do better we not have to do better.
But I feel like say true you light skin you you any better than me.
You not better than me.
And being light skin not automatically make you make you make you make you prettier you better you look better than a next dark skin girl I don't say it work.
Skin color not I don't want go down in night you know.
So some time ago when I was working at this particular place I was working with this half Indian girl. Now looking at her you would not know that she's half Indian you'd think that she is Indian I guess. And when I say Indian I don't mean Indian from India I mean cigarette smoking, rum rum drinking Indian from Jamaica. That's how she looked, right? Anyways, one day we were at work and we're having a conversation.
Now, mind you, the where I was working, we had a very small team. Like, there were like three, four of us on the team, right? And [snorts] I don't remember how the conversation start, but mind before I even move on, she's always watching these Indian shows and I'm like, okay, cool, whatever. That's your advice. I don't care. No, one day the conversation came up and she goes, "I can't believe say like every day my cousin mother because we can't believe say she make this black dry head [ __ ] man breed her for be my father when she could get another Indian man for be my father like, why would you mess up my Indian like that?" And I stopped and I looked at her and I'm like, "Oh my god, you're so [ __ ] racist." She goes, "No, no, no, no, no. It's not racist, man. It's not racist racist, but of all the men she could make me be my father, she make this dry head black [ __ ] man be my father."
And I'm like, "Bitch, you can sit there and say this is not racist as much as so you want. It is not going to change the fact that the statement that you've made is racist.
And I've always said to people that the Indians in Jamaica are very racist, like very racist and that is reason why they sleep with each other. That is reason why you have cousin and cousin getting married, you know, them have the incest them the family ram and that's why you you hear them calling a lot of Indian people in Jamaica [ __ ] royal because they want to keep their blood royal, so they will sleep with each I remember one time again, I went to Green Hill with some people who were my friends at the time. And you know, I walked in. Now, mind you, the friends that I had, they were related to these Indian people by their mother side because their mother is Indian, right? The mother is not 100% Indian, but the mother is Indian, so she had she and these um people from Green Hill, they were related.
Um [snorts] these kids, her kids were black because their fathers were black, so they had not a lick of Indian in a them. Now, before me [ __ ] up my hair, you could very well see that I was mixed with something, but looking at me, you wouldn't know what I was mixed with. So, a lot of people assume that I was mixed with Indian.
Now, again, I don't I'm not a straight-hair person, or when they look up on me, you say, "Oh, yeah." I'm a cur- My curls are very tight, right?
Um I can show you pictures, whatever.
Anyways, that time, my hair, I think, was very low, cut low, and a lot of people who know will know this, if you are mixed with whatever, and you cut your hair very low, your curls are going to be even popping more. So, I had my hair very short, and my curls them, they were popping. Anyways, we walked into the yard, and her cousins from that side of the family, one of the boys had stopped and looked at me, and he goes, "You would have been pretty if you never have so much [ __ ] in you." And I stopped. And I was like, "Are you [ __ ] for real?" And I looked at him, and I'm like, "There is nothing about you that is handsome.
So, I don't understand how is it that you had the audacity to look to look at me and say something like that." Only to realize that they, too, were also, you know, in incestuous relationships, because, again, they wanted to keep their bloodline royal, [ __ ] royal.
Um Americans over there, please watch your mouth when you're talking about the Jamaicans, okay? I'm not Jamaican, but I'm a West Indian woman, and you what you're all not going to do is try to fear monger and spread weird narratives about the country. You don't know anything, and it's 2025, and your ignorance is showing. One thing about the Caribbean, disaster preparedness is a way of life. We've been doing it since we were kids. Two, most houses are reinforced by steel and are built with concrete. It's not them wood and brick houses you guys have. Three, when in times of disaster, people know how to come together and help each other.
They're not fighting each other in Walmart for toilet paper and rations. We have more brought-upsy than that. We come together and we help each other.
Four, your fear-mongering, tragedy porn, kink fetish, whatever it is y'all have where all you just like are so gleeful when bad things happen to people and you use that as an opportunity to be performatively good, keep that somewhere else. Jamaicans will deal and cope with tragedy however they see fit. If you didn't want your thoughts and prayers to elevate their spirits, keep them. If you want to be mad at people making jokes, cool, keep it to yourself. Because if we see you say anything about Jamaicans, I'm telling you the rest of the Caribbean will gather and get you together. So, if you want a nice time, watch your mouth. The things that you guys are saying and posting and and commenting are making it so evident that you are highly ignorant and you are not beating the stereotype.
If you don't know about another culture, if you don't know about another country, is silence not an option?
Shut it.
Keep your thoughts and prayers to thoughts and prayers.
Okay? A lot of you are not going to beat the allegations that you are performative as hell. You're more concerned about looking like a good person than actually being a good person. These are human beings going through something very terrifying.
Shut up.
So, now after clearly watching this video, here's my deep critical analysis.
Even the birds are acknowledging that racism is not a good thing.
Racism, in its core, is just selfishness, egoism, and self-love, also self-hatred, right?
The reason why I'm saying racism can be self-hatred is a statement that was given by Joy De Grey.
Joy De Grey said that racism is a sign of of low self-esteem.
Now you are trying to project you are trying to project what's inside you.
And what's inside you is not beautiful.
And so people who are around you are hurting.
You are exercising your low self-esteem to other people.
That is what racism is according to Joy De Grey.
He also explains or she also explains the post-traumatic slavery syndrome.
Right?
A very good speech, a very good analysis and presentations or speech rather given by Dr. Joy De Grey.
And it's not far much different by what is being discussed right imagine I have I have come to a place.
I've come to your home, your very own home in your compound.
And uh one thing I start doing is I start ordering your children around, you know? I start telling them to go and wash my clothes, brush my shoes, you know?
And I I just order them around uh needlessly, you know?
In Africa, a child is everyone's child, not just your child.
But I don't mean that. What I mean is that you're looking down upon them.
You're caning them. You're insulting them because you feel inferior. Even your children will not respect.
Even my children may not respect your children in that compound. That's a good example, right?
The next thing I go is I go to your gate and I say this house is for sale.
And I'm selling it to someone who looks like me.
Right?
I sell it to someone who looks like me.
So, we start calling ourselves, people from my village, start coming to your compound and they kick you out.
>> [snorts] >> Right?
Now, that is a good example of of what happened in this restaurant.
You can't you you can't do that. You can't do that.
See, there is a problem that says, "If you go to Rome, Romanize yourself. Like, live like the Romans live."
Don't don't make yourself a Kenyan.
Don't make yourself an American.
Don't make yourself Egyptian, whoever you are. You need to live by the rules of the people.
And if many times you don't live by their rules, they feel that their culture and their people have been disrespected.
And the reaction they may give you is not a pleasant reaction, right?
And that's why I believe this Jamaican restaurant was burnt down. They did not respect the Jamaicans and their culture and their tradition and their people. Right?
Myself, I do not support burning down people's properties. I do not support that.
However, the owners of properties should respect people that they found there. Without them, your restaurant would not exist in the first place.
So, you must give them thank you. In fact, you must pay them.
Maybe an early morning, maybe you should pay them giving them jobs, giving free food occasionally. You can call an event, prepare some food, kill some bulls.
You know, roast some ships and goats for the community. They'll live to love you.
But, if you start banishing them and insulting them, you will invoke a bad thing towards you.
That's my thought. I'd really love to hear your perspective on this.
Remember, share your thoughts in the comment section.
And see you in the next.
