If you're playing on a console, make sure to connect your controller with a cable so it doesn't disconnect automatically due to inactivity during the race.

[00:04:09]However, if this is your first time using the method, I recommend monitoring the game during the first two or three laps just in case any problems occur. In theory, there shouldn't be any issues, but it's always better to be cautious, especially when trying it for the first time.

To do this, simply open the main menu and select quit event. This will end the race while saving all your progress and rewards. So, during my 10 hours of sleep, I earned over 10 million credits.
