[00:00:01]Today, we are going to be merging some sleek Quince neutrals, think black, white, tan, and gray, with a women's and men's brand that's new to me called Yummie. And get this, Yummie's motto is wear your own masterpiece. These two brands have something in common that's important to me, and that is natural materials and sustainable production practices.

[00:00:24]>> [music] >> So, today I am excited to share with you how I've styled some neutral Quince pieces like what I'm wearing now, and then we're going to be integrating some of Yummie's flare for individuality. I have some really fun and colorful things to show you and to style with these Quince pieces. If you're just stopping by for the first time, I started this channel after losing 68 lb and finding myself with a new outlook and exploring fashion and having fun learning about all kinds of different brands. And I'm so excited to bring Yummie to you today. And of course, we love Quince here, but if you haven't heard of Quince, they are a luxury for less brand. They go directly from their manufacturers to you. They cut a lot of the middle of the production process out, which is a great sustainable practice, and they bring this to you at a very competitive price.

[00:01:18]So, let's clear our fashion palettes with just a very simple Quince ensemble that I have on. This is their cotton modal scoop neck tee, which is just so practical. By the way, for sizing, I a size small or medium on the top if it's fitted, and a size 27 in jeans or a size four. What I'm wearing on bottom are the charcoal gray color of the French terry wide leg pants. Um, I would barely call these wide leg though. This is my new favorite pair of bottoms from Quince. At the end of this video, I will show my last Quince video that you can click and watch where I wore the olive color version of these front pocket pants. So, this is just a super comfortable pant, and for sizing, these do feel a little bit tight when you put them on and then they stretch a little bit the first 30 minutes that you've worn them and then they kind of stay there. So, I would call these a true to size. These come in sizes 0 to 16, which is a great size range and I am wearing a 30-in inseam and everything that I'm showing you today, including my shoes, too, by the way, I will put in my pinned comments and in my description box and hopefully some things will pop up here through YouTube shopping. [00:02:32]Now, let me jump into something brand new that I have from Quince that I'm excited to share with you. We are starting off with 100% Quince. I'm going to keep you in a little bit of suspense with Yummie. They are coming up next.

[00:02:42]So, I am wearing all Quince top to bottom.

[00:02:46]10 and 1/2-in Bermuda shorts, the Quince chino Bermuda shorts.

[00:02:50]They have pink back in stock. That makes it a total of six colors that they have available right now. If you're on the Quince website and you pick a size and the color and it says out of stock, I encourage you to click join waitlist because they do restock frequently. So, that's just a little tip from me. I'm wearing a size four and I have heard from others that these can feel like they're running a little bit small. So, if you're like a 3 and 1/2, you're probably fine here, but if you're like a size five, you may want to experiment with sizing up depending on where you want the chino shorts to fit on you.

[00:03:20]These are black. Once again, they have six colors and on top I'm wearing the 100% European linen square-neck swing top. I'll untuck it here in a moment, but I just wanted to show you how I have it styled. Bermuda shorts are so in right now and this time of year is when people are pulling out their linen items. So, I'm really getting into linen these days. And then, I also have a Quince bag and this is their trapeze bag. So cute and this is a fairly small bag. I do Is there a pocket in here? I don't see a pocket. And it has a snap top. It doesn't zip up. So, you may see a little something in there, which I'm going to explain in a moment. This is not the strap that the bag came with.

[00:03:58]This is their chain resin strap that you can buy separately. And I'll put my Quince video where I was showcasing the green one of these. I had a green one on a cream-colored bag that I have. I'm just having so much fun with these because I'm one of those people that just like my purse close to me and just over my shoulder like this. This also comes with a long strap, so let me pull that out and show it to you. So, I just adjusted the strap so I can have it at the longest it can be. And I also forgot to mention that this is a magnetic closure.

[00:04:25]So, this is what it would look like full crossbody mode. And then I forgot to show you the Quince Italian leather platform sandals. I'll do a close-up here so you can see, but my foot is pretty much filling up the whole platform. Like my toes are almost going over the end or my heel is almost going over the end. So, let me give you my honest take on these sandals. So, I'm a size 8 foot and my heel and my toes are almost coming off the end here. And then I have it on the last hole punch and you can see it's a little loose on me. So, I would recommend if you like the sandal that you size up and it does come in three colors. Let me pull this off my foot so I can show it to you up close.

[00:05:00]This color, a brown, like a tan, and a black. I think the black looks really cool with the white and the tan bottom here. But this is what it looks like up close. The footbed is not like hard like a Birkenstock, but it's pretty firm, too. So, for me, I'm not sure if this is the right sandal for me. I think if I sized up to an 8 and 1/2, I would definitely have to give have my husband give me an extra hole punch here. I ran away to change and I forgot I promised to show you this square-neck swing top untucked. Keyword being swing top, so I would call this a cropped length and then it's a little wide on the bottom on purpose so it kind of swings out, which is why I think they call it a swing top.

[00:05:36]So, I just wanted to show you what that looked like lengthwise untucked. It is time to check out Yumi, and it's spelled y i u m e. And I'm so excited to collaborate with them today. They have gifted me four pieces to show you. This is the first, it's called Elegant Plum Fragrance, and I'm going to show it up close to the camera here and on their website. I spent hours and hours and hours on their website. It was so hard to narrow it down for to four. I did actually get a $10 credit from my shopping on their website, so I can tell you that they do have perks. This is 100% cotton, and it's a gorgeous, beautiful, interesting design that makes it worth the price point. Their price point is just around $100 for their items, and they have amazing, amazing patterns. Some of them are renditions of art that we know, and the patterns are available in both men and women, so you could get a matching shirt if you wanted, like if you're going on a cruise. You can get a long-sleeve version of a lot of these shirts or the short-sleeve version if you like that in that pattern better. And they also have dresses, and my very, very favorite new dress from them is coming up at the end of this video. It is amazing. So, let me give you a close-up look at this 100% cotton shirt.

[00:06:49]And I'm going to read you just quickly what it says on the website about this shirt. The white plum blossoms are shaped like teeny umbrellas emanating a simple yet elegant beauty. The white magnolia flowers exude refinement and freshness. The pale green bamboos are resilient and supple. Incorporating these blooms over auspicious clouds creates a truly unique and gorgeous pattern. And the buttons are made out of coconut. I almost forgot to show you the rest of what I was [laughter] wearing. I This is my second favorite. The other shirt that is my absolute favorite is coming up soon. So, I am in Quince shorts with this, and these are the Bella, which is high-waisted with Quince, and then Luna is their mid-rise.

[00:07:27]This is a 4 and 1/2-in seam short, and they come, I believe, in six denim washes, including white and a dark denim. And I just love the wash of these, and this is like a perfect length. So, let me show you the back of the shorts. And on my feet, I have Scoop tennies. And these tennis I paid $30 for. They're now on sale for under $20.

[00:07:47]The black, I think, is less expensive than the white. So, I ordered the black.

[00:07:51]I wish I had it by now. I'd be wearing it with instead of this because I wanted to show you what this shirt looks like open cuz you can wear it open over a tee. And so, I have a camisole under this, which I think is a really cute look. So, with the black camisole underneath, I'm going to be wearing my Scoop from Walmart black mesh shoes that are now on sale for, well, under $20.

[00:08:13]These shoes were really popular with you when I did my Walmart video. So, I will put a link to these below and just know that you can order them in pink, white, or black. So, this camisole is also from Walmart, but I just wanted to show you just the kind of more casual look of having this shirt open over camisole.

[00:08:27]So, maybe you're on a tropical vacation at a resort and you want to get some sun in your shoulders, but have a little top to put over like this that's so vacationy-looking, you can do it that way as well. We are back in all Quince and I am wearing the cotton viscose short-sleeve raglan blouse. What is raglan? I don't know what that is. I'm just going to call it the blouse I never knew I was going to love as much as I do. So, I ordered this just to wear something different than I normally wear, and I love it. I just think it's adorable. I'll untuck it and show you how long it is in a minute, but I styled it with the French cherry front pocket pants that I was showing you before. And then I have on my Quince Italian slingbacks that I just love. These are real Italian leather, if you're new to Quince. And then this studded belt from Quince. So, this is an outfit that I was so excited to put together. Once I got this blouse on, I started imagining how I wanted to wear it. This blouse has a little bit of a peasant look, so it could be worn very casually. It only comes in this color, unfortunately, and it's starting to run low in stock. I think it's a new item. It has the shape of a lot of the linen things that are coming out these days. So, kind of that gathered look up here and then the short crop swing look to it. So, this would look adorable styled so many different ways, but I just had to make it look a little bit edgy. Time for some more Yumi. So, let's take a close up look at elegant plum fragrance here, all those flowers and patterns that were being described, and then the underlying pattern here, and then the coconut button. And notice that the pattern lines up perfectly when it's buttoned up, which I love about their craftsmanship. Speaking of fragrances, I have another Quince video coming soon where I'm going to be showing you what different fragrances they have and how you can get them either as a room spray, a room diffuser, a perfume or cologne to wear, or even in a candle. And I'm going to sniff them all, kind of describe to you how I feel they smell, and then I'm going to tell you what some of my favorites are. Of course, scents are so personal. Some people like flowery scents, some people like musky scents.

The artist is Katherine Rao. I don't know anything about her, but it sounds like a limited artist release that they did. This shirt is 100% cotton, and I'm wearing it with the Quince dress linen pants, and this color is called French linen or French blue. French blue. And I sized all the way up from a size four to a size eight in these. So, if you're looking for a kind of trouser pocketed linen short to wear, I would highly recommend that you size up a couple of sizes. So, I went from a four to an eight in these shorts. So, they still feel a little bit short for me, but the waist is fitting me perfectly. It does have an elastic waist in the back, and it comes in four different colors. And then here I am just wearing one of my favorite camisoles I just got at Walmart, and I'm back in the Walmart scoop shoes. So, here is Japanese cat garden in real life with me on the hanger up close.

[00:11:48]The cats, it's so cute. All the antics that they're up to. Just adorable. So, now I'm in the Quince super soft fleece crew and I still have on the pink Bermuda shorts. And I styled it with some I don't have black mesh shoes. I have these from Scoop from last year.

[00:12:05]They're just a jelly. But anyway, I just have black shoes on with this just to keep it simple.

[00:12:11]But I want to talk to you about this super soft fleece crew. Quince's price for a basic crew is $36. This is going to be another one of the Quince items, like these chino shorts, that I'm going to get in every color. It is so soft. I can't even relate it to you. I will put the fabric content up here. They do compare it to Athleta and two other brands that I don't know. I'm familiar with Walmart's Scoop knit, which is very, very cool and I just love it especially for the price point. This is superior to that. And comparable, if not better, than Spanx. This is now my favorite comfortable wearing around the house top. But as you can see, the way I have it styled, you definitely can dress it up and wear it out or just have it as a comfy thing to wear at home. Or have it as part of your workout wardrobe.

[00:12:56]More Yumi and now I have on the Hawaiian style aloha and flamingos dress, named for the pattern obviously, and the color I would call a Lilly Pulitzer pink. It just reminds me of her pink that she has in so many of her dresses. This is such a fun dress and very practical. It has pockets. It has the vacation vibes. It is a double cloth construction, which is really nice and I am wearing a midi length. I cannot find this dress on their website today. I don't know if it's me missing it, but I did find it in a more of a mini length, so I'll put a picture of up here. Had I seen that, I would have got that one. I just think it's more fun. But, this is a nice length, too, especially if you're on vacation and maybe you're inside a cruise ship in the evenings when when it might be a little bit cooler. This is an awesome dress to have that has just got those vacation vibes. Speaking of vacation vibes, the fourth thing that I have from Yumi is a men's shirt. So, I'm going to have my husband come in here and model it for you. Hey ladies, meet Keith. Keith is wearing Yumi's Hawaiian shirt, and they have a couple of Hawaiian tiki patterns available in the men's only. And, this one comes in a long sleeve and a short sleeve.
