CROSS Mainnet 2.0 Explained – New Rewards, New Tokenomics, New Future

And if you choose to compound those rewards, your earnings can grow even faster over time because future rewards are calculated from a larger stake balance. However, it's important to note that unstaking isn't instant. Kross currently has a 14-day unbonding period, meaning you'll need to wait 2 weeks before withdrawn tokens become available. Another major feature of mainnet 2.0 is its updated tokenomics. The network now uses a halving-style reward system. Instead of rewards staying the same forever, they gradually decrease over time. This helps control inflation and creates a more sustainable economy for the future.

Whether users are staking, swapping tokens, or interacting with applications, part of the transaction fee is permanently burned. This means those tokens are removed from circulation forever. As network activity increases, more tokens are burned, reducing the available supply over time.
