[00:00:13]>> Um I wanted to ask you about this this one specifically. Uh so on Christmas Eve um you spotted a message somebody sent to Carol Vorderman on her birthday.

[00:00:26]Uh which said, "Happy birthday Carol. My God, I would love to smell and lick your asshole." Now you responded to that.

[00:00:33]>> Uh I responded to a separate tweet.

[00:00:35]>> You responded to a separate tweet. So go on, clarify.

[00:00:38]>> So somebody had had written that. Um somebody else had commented on that and then I responded to the comment on that.

[00:00:46]>> So which [snorts] comment were you responding to? Were you responding to the one about the >> The Chris Ryan comment. That's the one that I I responded directly to.

[00:01:00]Um I am rough around the edges. I have made mistakes in my life.

[00:01:05]I'm not perfect. Nobody is. Not a single person in the world is perfect. I think everybody does say things that eventually they may regret.

[00:01:15]Uh and it's it was a crude attempt at a joke to probably about 50 followers. No offense was meant. And uh it's not something I'd do now.

[00:01:30]>> saying I wouldn't do it now. Um but again, there's been a lot of noise about this cop this, you know, indirect sort of vulgar tweet that I made.

[00:01:39]Um but I've not heard much about Carol starts on labor not having a grooming gangs inquiry last year or what she thinks about uh biological males being allowed into single-sex spaces.

[00:01:50]>> Well, I think it's well documented that Carol Vorderman is is a big Labour supporter and it's It's really an argument between you and her, is it?

[00:01:57]>> Oh, no. I mean >> It's a a request on her uh from her to apologize. So, I suppose if it was a moment of madness and it was something that you regret, would you want to take the opportunity to do that now or >> I think I think I think I've addressed the issue. Um I think like I say, no offense was meant and it wasn't it wasn't a direct um comment to her.

[00:02:22]Um And like I say, if you go on to any building site in the area or any pub, barracks, I think you'll hear, you know, 100 times worse said. It was just like I say, it was just a crass attempt of a joke and you know, it's not something that I've made now.

[00:02:47]>> Uh if if you know, if you went and just yeah, I've I've I've seen what goes on. It's like I say, I'm not a I'm not a polished politician. I am a family man.
