[00:09:15]Um I got a couple of um fresh accounts. We're going to trade just the eval accounts today uh ahead of uh wealth charts.

[00:09:24]Um come back probably come back trading the fundeds tomorrow. But I I want to just distribute a lot of trades amongst the evals and show you the three primary setups that I want to trade, which is take the dot as is, that is sort of momentum dot. Take the dot on a retrace.

[00:09:42]So, dot minus four dot dot plus four depending on whether you're short or long. So, if it's if you're short, it's going to be dot plus four points, which is somewhere like around here.

[00:09:53]And um actually, it's there's four setups. Then there is the um um the uh the the green candle against the red slope um and then there's the three-candle drop or three-candle pop, which is one of my favorite setups. So, it's like four separate setups.

[00:10:13]Um yeah, I look very serious in my LinkedIn photo. I know it's like it's it's from a long time ago.

[00:10:17]Back when I used to wear suits.

[00:10:19]Um So, generally, by the way we were sort of positive bid most of the morning. Uh this is the clearest, sharpest sell-off we've had.

[00:10:30]Uh what is it? From around 8:00 onward, right? Uh we hit the highs at around 900 and then just came right back down. And been trend been trending down and actually broke VWAP. So, now we are uh negative trend. And I'm looking at, you know, negative trades right now as a as a play. Uh But yeah, we're going to take uh a whole variety of these momentum setups either the pure dot, the dot retrace, three-candle pop, three-candle drop and red over green, green over red, um which are which are faith Those are the two of them are essentially faith setups within trend. Right? And the And the other two are momentum setups uh within within trend. So, all of them all of them trend biased.

[00:12:58]Sometimes it happens. We I don't have any uh uh I don't have any urgent Iran the naval blockade of Iranian ports remains in place and is an aggressive measure, blah blah. These are all 20 minutes late.

[00:13:11]So, I'm just looking to see if there's anything new happening.

[00:13:14]Maybe not. Maybe I just got myself trapped. Oops.

[00:13:17]Almost got almost got myself out.

[00:13:52]Yeah, the VWAP um on uh TradingView is a little bit different from WealthCharts.

[00:13:57]So, um you will some you'll get a little bit of a discrepancy here sometimes.

[00:14:14]It's definitely an algo spike, but it could have been a fake one or um Maybe it was just a fake alarm.

[00:14:37]I may I may get flushed both ways.

[00:16:46]Uh looks like it was just a fake spike for which I uh fell.

[00:16:50]Uh So, we'll let it play out, but uh I don't know. It's every every every day the market is really headline driven.

[00:17:12]Um you know, do we get progress out of Iran? If Iran news agency says, you know, we're coming to the table, that's going to be positive. It's going to drive things up.

[00:17:25]If they're holding out, um we may get a little bit of more of a sell-off.

[00:17:30]I don't know. The market at this point kind of decided that US controls the game. So, it doesn't seem to be real It it seems to be immune to bad news, but reacting to positive news.

[00:17:41]So, you sort of want to be almost always net positive, right? Which is what I've been uh most of the time. I did I know I did take a few uh sell trades here. There we go. Come on. Resolve. Resolve. There we go. It took a long time to resolve. Wow.

[00:18:00]That was so my initial reaction always when I'm when I am like let's say I'm in a trade and I have a spike move against me is I assume that spike move generally is correct.

[00:18:12]So, if it settles and it hasn't broken its lows, basically, I'm going to hold that spike move until it breaks its lows uh in direction of the spike. So, that's why I reversed.

[00:18:22]Um I was looking for it for a reason. I haven't been able to find it.

[00:18:27]Could be just the news hasn't really hit yet.

[00:18:30]But generally, when you have a big spike uh sometimes it can just be a false move. Sometimes it's an overreaction.

[00:18:37]Not always, but almost always almost always there is some continuity in that trade.

[00:18:42]And so, I always try to trade that trade in that direction.

[00:18:47]This was just a very weird one where doesn't look like there was any news.

[00:18:52]And uh the market Here, let me uh Let's go to See, this was this is Wall Street Journal. This what it seems.

[00:19:23]Mideast safe Two sides have been engaging in ideas that could point to compromise around core issues like a nuclear program.

[00:19:30]So, MS now. So, that's that's what's, you know, spiked it up. I knew there was some kind of news here.

[00:19:36]But so far, it hasn't really really continued. Now, we still remain negative bid with a sell signal here. So, I'm going to, you know, if this holds, I'm going to take the short here.

[00:19:50]Um I love this quote uh because it's really kind of like the way I trade. The quote is uh 10% of life is what happens to you.

[00:20:44]So, this quote somewhere I thought it was such a good quote because it's great quote for life, but it's a great quote for trading, which is basically, you know, 10% of everything that happens in trading is what the market does, and 90% is how we react to it. You know, do we do we keep our head cool? Do we take our stops? Do we regroup and reorient ourselves or do we just start freaking out and tilt?

[00:21:08]Um as most of us do. I thought that was really really interesting way of looking at life cuz it's really true. If you think about everything in life, um even like the worst things that happen to you, really like only 10% of that is really a function of what's happening to you.

[00:21:29]We held the bid here.

[00:21:31]And the positive news is that there's still negotiation at the table.

[00:21:35]Market is starting to price in that positive news.

[00:21:39]Uh maybe um I don't know you know, I don't I don't I don't know your situation. I like uh um Uh look at that positive move here. See that spike really does continue. Some of them are going to work, some of them are not, but I want to show you every single setup that I possibly can so everybody gets very very comfortable with the uh with the setups. Uh this is precisely why I'm just kind of, you know, I took this one eval account um for really trade demonstration purposes.

[00:23:42]Uh rather than trading it really really hard. I traded all my other accounts pretty pretty hard this morning for positive moves. This one we're going to just simply uh take trade for uh for setups. See if it works.

Done correctly means you got to wait until the thing closes cuz yes, a lot of times you're going to get the continuation to the dump, but you know, if you're looking for that five-point retrace, a lot of times it gets done.

[00:41:09]I got to take like a quick nap before the uh well chart show so I can lock in cuz I really really want to I think it's cuz I spent like half the night doing doing AI work so now I'm kind of zoned out.

[00:41:20]Um but really really interesting information that I want to share with you.

[00:41:28]Everybody see what I mean? So, this is a just This is one of the very very easy money let layouts. Slope is red. We're negative trend. You got a green candle, right? You sell the close of that. Boom.

[00:41:43]It's a perfect retrace trade.

[00:41:47]Nine out of nine out of 10 times it's going to fall back.

[00:41:51]One out of 10 times it's going to it's going to make a V-shape recovery where it's just going to, you know, build the next green candle next green candle and you'll get stopped out. The slope will turn green.

[00:41:59]Um but that rarely happens like that. Um most of the time what this is basically telling you is that momentum is just not ready to turn yet. So, this is a false false pop which gives you great opportunity to be able to um to short this.

[00:42:19]And conversely, you know, go long when you get it the other way around.

[00:42:22]Anybody ever trade that? Uh give me a hands up if you guys ever trade that that that setup.

[00:42:27]Cuz I actually you know what I When I am locked in, I love trading that setup.

[00:47:19]Um but the more nuanced traders in the room the three candle drop three candle pop is a really good one.

[00:47:37]But, you know, the interesting question is do you guys choose number one because you really think it's the best one or because it's the most frequent one?

[00:47:46]I think that's the second the the second is the is the real answer.

[00:47:50]Everybody wants the frequency of signal.

[00:47:54]That's what you guys like. Okay.
