Phishing attacks are deceptive tactics where scammers create fake security warnings to trick users into revealing personal information or paying money; legitimate security software like Windows Defender will not disable your computer through fake pop-ups, and users should never trust unsolicited technical support calls or click on suspicious sponsored ads, as these are common methods used by fraudsters to steal data and money.

>> Wow.
>> Please do not shut down or restart the computer. Computer for suspicious activity from Facebook.
>> Please do not shut down or restart the computer.
>> We have detected that you may have clicked on.
>> Yeah, I don't know if you can hear it, but my computer's locked up and it's telling me to please call Microsoft support and I can't do nothing with it.
>> Windows Defender has temporarily disabled cuz Windows Defender has temporarily disabled it.
>> What's that?
>> Please do not shut down.
>> Hang on. I got to turn this down. This is >> We have detected that you may have clicked on a virus.
>> Okay, go ahead. Facebook.
>> I'm just saying, can you read the complete message to me that you can see on the screen so I can help you with this? [snorts] >> Seriously, the guy's reading it. Windows Defender Security's disabled your computer. Please don't access this system. If you overlook this warning, all your security personnel information will be compromised. Running this application may put your system and all your personal information at risk.
Please contact Microsoft Windows support as soon as possible and a Microsoft expert will guide you through the investigation over the phone.
>> Admin log and Windows locked due to unusual activity. Please log in and use your Microsoft ID and password for assistance. contact Microsoft support that doesn't work.
>> So, and then scrolling at the bottom.
>> I need to ask you something. This is something that is a security breach.
That is a warning of the security breach of the computer. Like there could be a possibility someone trying to get access on your computer or maybe on your network. That's the reason you got this warning.
>> I need to know have you clicked something online when you got this message? Maybe on Google or maybe on Facebook. when you let me know.
>> Sure.
>> Yeah. I I was on >> I was on Facebook where it says sponsored ads and it said I had messages and one of them said you need to open this message. [snorts] So I opened it and then I got all this crap.
>> I got it sir. I completely got it. And uh sir, can you please help me with your email address that you've been using with your computer so I can pull up your Microsoft account and I can help you?
>> Oh, the one Oh, I got to think about this. I'm not sure which email address I use with it. Um, I think, uh, let me I think it might be, but I'm not 100% sure.
[panting] >> You can tell me. I'll check it out. No problem.
>> Well, I got so many of them. That's the problem. And I got to figure out which one it is, but I'm not 100% sure kind of thing.
So, try this one. [snorts] Try uh s c hi t f a c e1 at proton.me.
>> Okay. And can I have your name first and last name too?
>> Oh yeah. It's Ruben Clitoris.
>> How do you spell the last name? Reuben.
>> C L I T O R I S.
Click to it. Got it. Yeah. Now, sir, you can just give me one minute. Uh, let me go ahead. Let me pull up the details here so I can help you. And the first name is Reuben, right? R U B A N. The first >> R U B N.
>> Oh, it's Reuben. Okay, got it.
>> Yeah, it's Reuben.
>> Bear with me. I'll be back with you.
>> Yeah, this is kind of weird. Uh, I I thought why would Windows Defender disable my computer? I thought that was an anti virus. This is kind of weird.
>> No, the Windows Defender basically does defend your computer. There, like as I told you, there could be a possibility you must have clicked, you know, wrong link or maybe a suspicious [snorts] link on the Facebook.
>> Well, isn't it supposed to block this stuff?
>> Isn't it supposed to prevent my computer from being infected?
That's perfectly yes that will protect the system but if the suspicious the infection is really wrong if the you know there's a live person who's ser trying to hack into your system.
>> Oh okay then we then we should be fine once then that means Windows Defender is doing its job. So all we have to do is get this stuff off of it and not go back into Facebook. Right.
>> Right.
Right. Right. Right.
>> Okay. Let's do that. And I have a question for you, sir.
>> Yeah.
>> I I just open up your Microsoft account.
I can see you do have a Microsoft account since you're using a Windows computer and I need to verify. Is there anybody else who then who've been using your information like your email address, your password, your name in a different computer?
>> Yeah, my girl my girlfriend does. My girlfriend does. She uses it um to like text all her um you know the guy she meets. Um >> Okay.
>> She Yeah, she's uh she runs she runs a wh house. So So you know when she's not there, she's with me. So yeah, so she sets up a lot of business for her and her and the other women that work there.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. So, if you see, do you see anything?
>> You're using the laptop.
>> What's that?
>> I'm saying is this a laptop, right?
You're using this. This is a laptop that you can >> Yeah, it's a Yeah, it's a laptop. It's >> Yeah, that's a laptop. It's a lap. I use it for gaming. So, I use it primarily for gaming.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. And another thing Reuben I need to ask you within the last 10 to 15 days Reuben by any chance have you used your laptop that is from a different state from a different location like in Texas in Ohio in Canada from any of these three places?
>> My laptop >> used your laptop?
>> No.
>> No. It's never been to Texas. It's been to Ohio a few times and then sometimes it go I've been to New York City with it. uh been to Albany, New York a few times with it.
>> Okay. Okay. Got it. So Ruben, I'm going to guide you some steps. There could be a possibility, sir. Like as I told you, someone trying to like hack into your system. As I check your account, there is a multiple people active there. I'm not sure who they are, but we're going to find it out. And I'm going to guide you some steps right now. Reven, what you need to do, you have to look on your keypad of your computer.
>> Sure. At the very top left hand side on your keypad there is a escape key, right? Like a ESP key on the keypad.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah, the escape key. What do you want me to do with the escape key?
>> I want you to press that. I want you to press it for 10 seconds.
>> All right.
>> Escape key for 10 seconds.
>> Okay, it's 10 seconds. Oh, now I got the I can X out of this. Good. I'm gonna X out of it. I don't need to look at this [ __ ] no more. So, I'm gonna >> Okay. Now, the second thing.
>> All right. Now, I'm back to Facebook.
>> I'm back to Facebook where all the I can show you the sponsored ad.
>> Uh oh.
>> Oh, wait.
>> My malware bite says it's detected malware.
>> And now I can't move the mouse. Oh, here it is.
>> You got to wait.
You got to wait. You got to wait for Ben. I'm going to guide you another thing. Now what you have to do the second thing you need to look on your keypad again at the very bottom left hand side. Do you see a window key? Like a Microsoft key on your keypad, right?
>> Yeah. But it's useless on this computer, but it's got one.
>> Okay. You have to press the window key and you have to press the letter R. Run.
Press the window and the R key together at the same time.
Okay.
>> Okay. Now, while you press that, do you see any little window came up that says type the name of program? Anything like that comes up on the screen?
>> It says type in the name of a program, folder, a document or internet resource.
>> Yes.
>> And Linux will open it for you. that >> what >> right now in that box you're going to that box in the little box I want you to type in there type in www do >> Uhhuh.
>> Type in the word ultra like U L T R A ultra.
>> Okay.
After ultra you have to type in the word viewer like the view thing. V I E W >> er.
>> Yeah, it's ultra viewer.
>> Mhm.
>> And then put a dot like a period.
>> And then type in the word neg.
It's ultra viewer dot next.
>> Sure.
You want me to hit send?
>> Let me know once I >> It's been in.
>> Hit okay. Yes. Click on okay.
>> It says send on this. This is This is a Linux computer. It's not a Microsoft.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Okay. Here's Altra Viewer. Altra Viewer sign showed up the website.
>> Okay. Now, right now there is a download option. Right. You have to click on the second tab where it says download. Click on that.
>> Yep. where it says download.
Okay, >> it's downloading.
>> You see the three downloads? Three different downloads.
>> I downloaded it. I downloaded it. I'm way ahead of you. So, already downloaded. What do you want?
>> Okay.
Now, you have to click on the file which is downloading which says ultra viewer setup. Do you see any file download [clears throat] ultra viewer setup? You have to double click on that. Yep.
>> It says Linux cannot open this file.
What does it say? Do you see any options there on the screen?
>> I guess I just told you it says Linux cannot open this file. Cannot download this file. Says it's not compatible.
>> Oh, okay. Okay. Got it. Now, do one thing again. Uh, Reuben, you have to push the window and the R key again on the keyboard. Do it again.
>> Well, why don't I just X out of here? I can go right back to it. I'll just X out.
Okay.
>> Yes, you can exit out from this page.
>> Okay. So, >> all right. What do you want me to put in the little window now?
>> Now, erase the ultra viewer thing. You have to make it empty. Make it >> It's already highlighted. I can type over it. What do you want me to type over it?
>> Okay. Type in the letter C. C as in Charlie.
And then type in the letter M. M as in marry.
And then type in the letter D. D as in Donald C.
>> Okay. Command.
>> Okay.
>> I don't think command function works on this computer, but I'll find out here.
So, you want me to hit enter?
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. Hit enter. Yep.
>> It It don't do nothing. It don't do nothing. There's no command. It's Linux.
There's no command prompts for Linux.
I'm a gamer. I'm a gamer. We use Linux.
It's way faster than Microsoft. I do not have Microsoft on this computer.
>> That's okay. That's perfectly fine. Now, uh, is that possible? Can you grab a pen and a paper hand? I need to tell you something that's really important that you should write.
>> Pen and a paper. [ __ ] I ain't wrote [ __ ] down in years. All right, hang on a second. Now, to find paper around here is like an act of Congress. Let's see if I can find something.
Oh, Bart. Um, hang on. Find a paper.
Just tough around here. I think I found the piece. Hang on.
>> All right. What do you want me to write down? This is What do you want me to type?
>> Okay. Uh, before I ask you, sir, I have to ask you some charges, Reuben. This is that is from the last 10 to 15 days. I just want to make sure you are the one or not. So, you can write down on the paper yourself. It's not you. The second thing as it also it seems like somebody got hacked into your system and there's a clampy virus in your computer. Clampy virus is something that is a man hiding into your computer who steals the data.
>> There's a man hiding in my computer.
I've never heard of that. But okay, some guy's hiding in my computer.
>> Who can steal the data?
>> He's probably whacking his wenie in there. Okay. What do you want me to write down now? You're telling me to get a piece of paper and a a pencil. But I got a pen.
>> Okay. The first thing I need to ask you, Ben, last month in April, that is on 25th of April, have you click on any kind of website on this computer to buy a new iPhone? Did you try to purchase a new iPhone by any chance recently on this computer?
>> I don't use Apple products. I got a Samsung.
>> Okay. And in that case, I'm giving you the one amount which you can please write down on the paper. That is a fraud amount which is $700.
>> 700 bucks.
>> And that is for an iPhone.
>> $700. Yes. And that is for an iPhone 17 Pro. So you try to purchase that under your computer.
>> Can I ask you something?
>> That is on >> Who who's where can you purchase a iPhone 17 Pro for $700?
cuz I'll buy them and sell them for a thousand and make money. That's pretty cheap. Who would buy one for seven?
Where could you buy them? I've never seen them that cheap.
>> They're like the Samsung S26 Ultra is is also 1,100. They're all 1,100 bucks.
>> Right. Right. Right. Right. See, I'm not sure who buying this actually and why they are buying these products, but this is something somebody tried to buy it under your computer and that is on 25th of April. You can write down the data as well.
>> Sure.
I didn't ver I didn't buy it. So, I don't know what you're talking about.
Some se iPhone 17 Pro >> for for 700 bucks. I don't know who's bought that. It's not me. It's not on my computer. It's not on I haven't been build for it.
So, let me check my let me check my checking account.
>> I'm checking my online banking. Um, nope.
There's nothing there that's been charged. So, we're good. All right. What else is going on?
>> The second uh charge I have to ask you that is for $500 and that is on Amazon.
Somebody tried to buy an Apple gift card. And I guess that's not you, right?
>> You can get Apple gift cards on Amazon.
I didn't know that.
>> It is for $500. And that is done on May 5th. This month only.
>> That's on what?
>> On May 5th. On May 5th.
>> Oh, May 5th. Cinco de Mayo. Um, >> yes.
>> No. No. I didn't uh I don't know nothing about that. It ain't me. So I don't know where you're seeing it, but it's not me.
>> That's not you, right? There's one more charge that's the final charge on. I'm sure that's a fraud charge. And that is for like a PlayStation 5, like a video game. And that is for $299.99.
Did you try to buy anything like that?
>> PlayStation? No. I do online gaming, but I don't use PlayStation. That's kids toys.
So, how much was that? How much was the PlayStation?
>> It It's for $299.99.
And that is again on Amazon.
>> Well, that's pretty cheap.
All right. No.
>> Yes.
>> No, I didn't purchase that.
>> And you can write down the data as well.
You can write down the date as well.
That is done on May 11th. This month, >> okay, it's May 11th, but I didn't purchase that.
>> That wasn't me.
>> Okay, got it.
>> May 11th.
>> Okay.
>> And the other one was May 5th, >> right?
>> And what was the 17 Pro? What day was that?
>> April 25th, last month. That is on April 25th.
>> Okay. I would think that if it wasn't in my account because I would have seen them by now. I mean something that was purchased in April wasn't purchased under mine.
>> So I don't know why you're you have to tell me this because it's not mine >> but go ahead.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. You have to hold the line because uh like as I told you there is a clampy virus in your system and for some reason I'm not be able to get you connected with the Microsoft server. What I'm going to do right now we have a different department. We do have a Microsoft fraud protection department here. I'm going to create a case. I'm going to send this case to the fraud protection department. So, they're going to help us to trace the unauthorized access on your computer. Like, whosoever the people are, they're going to trace their IP address and they're going to block them on your network. They're going to secure your network.
>> Well, I I have a I have a VPN. So, I have a VPN and I also have a really good antivirus. So, I don't know what Windows I don't know why Windows Defender blocked my computer when I don't have Windows on my computer. That's the part that really puzzles me.
>> Let me explain here then. The problem that is not a virus. Antivirus is something that will protect your system from the malware.
>> I know what an antivirus is. I also have mal malware bites.
>> But you don't understand that I run Linux on here. So, I What was Window Defender? doesn't work on Linux. So why would it stop my computer?
That don't sound right.
>> Somebody else got an access on your system, sir. There is another people got an access on your system and your network. That's the reason all the problems start strong.
>> I'm running malware bytes now and it's still and it's checking for updates and scanning memory. So I'm [snorts] wear I'm using it right now on it to see what's on my computer.
So just so you know >> uh the problem is sir even the command is not working in the system since you're using a Linux computer but if you check the command here there should be another connections that is connected with your network like there's another devices are connected with your system right now.
>> Yeah like yeah there's a lot of devices connected to my system right now on my network.
So there should be >> there should be because each >> here what I'm gonna do >> Okay. What? Okay. Go ahead. What are you gonna do?
>> Okay. What I'm trying to say Reuben, I'm going to create a case right now. I'm trying to fill up an online form. So I will need your help here a little bit so I can you know fill up the form and I can assign the technician. We can fix this and after that you'll be good to go. So the first thing I need to know so how many devices are connected with the Wi-Fi? Let me know. like you mentioned there >> about 30.
>> I'm I'm serious. I my my heating and my central air conditioning and heating systems is is on my Wi-Fi connected to it. My refrigerator's connected to it.
I've got I've got this laptop. I've got several tablets. I've got I've got three phones. I got my girlfriend's all her equipment. So there there's several the all the TVs are connected to it and the cable boxes. The fire the fire TV stick the fire sticks are uh >> are connected to it. Every there's a lot of stuff connected to it.
>> There should be about I I'll bet right now running there should be over a dozen things on my Wi-Fi. I can check that too if you want. All I have to do is go to um >> No, that's okay. I can go to tether and it'll tell me. It'll tell me there.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
>> My tether will tell me exactly what >> I have to ask you.
>> Go ahead.
>> Sorry. I'm just trying I'm just trying to verify how many people apart from you and your girlfriend can get an access from your Wi-Fi in total.
Well, my gaming buddies when we're over, when they're over, they they access it with their phones and stuff. My sister and her husband, when they come over, they access it with their kids. There's a lot of people that access it. It's It's pretty secured. Uh, it's pretty secured. It's got a good VPN.
>> Okay. All right.
Uh the reason being why I'm asking you these questions because I have to mention before I study through the technical thing before I create the case and can you also help me with your mailing address so I can mention there in the report.
Oh, okay. It's 125 South First Street.
>> Okay.
>> Bayfield, Wisconsin.
>> Okay.
>> 54814.
>> And you can just Thank you. She got up there with me. Now, another question s I need to ask you. That is something of weird question I'm going to ask. And uh within the last few days Reuben on your computer by any chance have you clicked any kind of pornographic website online on Google or maybe somewhere else? Did you click any porn site or any kind of link like that?
>> No. No. Um I don't do porno. I got a sexy girlfriend that I don't need porno.
>> I'm sorry. I I really do apologize for this question, sir. The reason being why I'm asking is I need to tell you something. Maybe you're not aware about it. The people whoseever got an access on your system on your network right now, they are using your name, your email address on some child pornographic websites and they are doing some illegal activities and I guess you have no idea about that, right? What's happening about >> what are they using it on? They're not on my they're not on my IP address. I can tell you that they're that would be impossible.
>> So h how are they? I'm not sure because I cannot check it but the technicians they got to check it.
>> All right.
>> Check it like >> Well, you can you can check it but this sounds kind of fishy.
>> Right. Right.
>> And the second thing sir I'm going to do it here. I will also send this report to your financial institutions to your bank itself as well because the identity has been misusing by some random people.
>> Well, why don't I just call my bank?
I'll just have them issu reissue me cards.
I'll just call my bank. I'll have them reissue cards. But I nothing's been breached. So, I don't know why >> cuz do you do you know what the last four digits of the card numbers are that's being used in my name?
>> I have no I have no information about it.
>> Well, then how would you know how would you know that it's being used?
>> How would you know it's being used then?
because this particular purchases that is done through your computer and uh since I'm not be able to get you connected and not be able to sure which card has been used for this particular purchases but you have to check it on your own and uh if you want I can send this case to your bank as well so they can review your details and they're going to cancel those charges if there's any and they're going to secure your financial details.
>> Well, there are no charges but go ahead.
What bank is it? What bank has been used?
Do you even know what my bank is?
>> You're telling me there's Look, ma'am, >> no disrespect, but you're telling me that there's charges in my name and my and my bank is going to be notified, but you don't even know what my bank is. You won't even tell me what bank is these charges are being charged to.
>> What I can do, sir, I can fill the form.
I can send it to the financial institution which you are linked to.
they can go ahead they can check it because we do have the association if somebody hacks into your account or someone the details >> all right >> we have online form so we can send it to the bank and they can review that's what we can do >> all right >> and you have to bear with me and in that case then can you verify the name of the financial institution like you have an account with is it like a CNC navy federal like I mentioned there >> yeah it's it's US bank up in uh superior out Superior. That's where I bank.
>> Okay.
Okay. And can you also help me with the customer service number, which is like a 1800 number?
>> I have no idea. I have no idea what it is. Let me let me Google it. I I never call it, so why would I know? Let's see if I can find it. Um, >> US Banks Superior Wisconsin.
Let's see if I can find you a number. I don't know why you can't do it, but that's fine. Um, here it is. It's 8008722657.
That's their real number. Um, I Googled it, which I know is hard for customer >> these guys to do.
>> So, that's it.
>> Thank you.
>> Please don't call that bank.
>> I have to mention there in the form.
>> Okay. I'm sorry. I need to mention two more things with the banking form. The another thing I need to verify. Can you please help me to verify the last four numbers of the debit card so I can mention there in the report?
>> What do you want?
>> The last four numbers of the debit card that you've been using. Do you use a debit card with this fun?
>> Well, why do you need it? I mean, this is the part I don't understand is you're telling me that all these charges are made, but you don't have this information.
So the last four digits of my of which card, my debit or my Visa? I use I use credit cards. I don't use debit cards because credit cards can be disputed if somebody charges on it.
>> Right, right, right, right. So you use a credit card with the US bank, right? But you don't have like a debit card with this bank.
No, because everything's auto debited out of my account, all my bills. So, I don't write out checks. I don't need a debit card. What I do, this is what I do. I know it's hard to understand, but my girlfriend, she taught me this.
>> I charge everything on a credit card because it's because it's No, you're not listening. I credit it. I charge everything on a credit card because it's secure and can be disputed. Then once a month when the bill shows up, I'm when I get a bill to my email, I pay it. I pay it through zel out of my account using my app >> and my and I never have anything on my credit card at the end of the month.
That's what I do. So I don't need a debit card. I have a credit card. It's safer and it's insured.
>> Okay.
Got it. And can you help me to verify the last of the credit cards so I can mention there in the report before I send it to the bank?
>> You want the last four digits?
>> Last four numbers. Yes. Since I have to mention that in the report.
>> Uh let me look on the card here. 4079.
>> Thank you. And you have to please bear with me. Now apart from this bank, do you have any account or any other credit card with any other bank? Let me know so I can mention that too.
>> Accounts at every bank? No, I have investments through my investor through uh my investor broker.
>> Okay.
I'm talking about you have any account with any other bank like any Chase, PNC, maybe Federal, you know, or any other bank that you have an account with, let me know so I can mention that too.
>> No, I don't bank at any other bank, just the US bank up in Superior.
But, uh >> Okay. Okay.
>> No. So, yeah, I've got a lot of investments and uh I got it I got two brokers. One one's on only online and the other one is in Superior. He's a local guy up there.
>> Okay. That is true. And you got to please bear with me. And the investment that you have, do you do any investments on your laptop on your gaming laptop that you've been using? Do you do anything like that on that laptop?
>> Um, no.
I mean, I can check it on there, but I but I don't have to. I all I do is just talk to my broker, but I can definitely check them.
>> Okay. All right. And Reven, now you have to hold the line with me for a few minutes. Let me go ahead. Let me send this report to the fraud protection team here in Microsoft first and I'll be right back here with you. Okay.
>> Sure. Thank you very much.
>> Bear with me.
Thank you. Uhhuh.
Angela, can you hear me?
>> Yeah.
>> I don't know why the alarm went off for 8:30 so I don't have to be back to the Okay, so here's the deal. I got her on mute. But >> okay, >> this is the farthest I've ever went with these dumb asses. I ran malware bites.
Tell me what a a pup optional P p I O N potentially unwanted file is. It's in the Windows C drive.
>> It's a potentially unwanted program.
It's just like a like you a junk program. Just >> could that be like a something to do with a vast because we've had nothing but >> possible tell it just have it quarantined >> that it gives me that option. It's one item. I just ran mal malware malware bites on this laptop. By the way, folks, it's 16 years old. Works like a champ.
It's slightly slow, but not too bad. And this is the only one unwanted file it could find on this computer. I That's pretty dog on good.
And u these guys are scammers. This chick is a scammer and she's going to It's a scan.
We'll view the scan results.
Um, we're talking about a VAS. I used to have a vast um antivirus on this computer. It is like a virus on a computer once you put it on there.
>> Recorded. Please, nobody out there. No one do not download the vast you value your computer. Exactly. And because we and I'm still finding attachments to this computer with a vast and how many temporary files have I deleted? That's another thing. Um, this is not a Linux computer by any means.
It's obviously a Windows computer, but they don't know that, and I'm just toying with them. So now I'm actually quarantining this file and we're going to see how they're going to try to scam me out of thousands of dollars. So the threat scan summary is done. One whole file on this whole computer and uh I don't want the premium >> bad. It's just a most of the time it's like a tracking cookie or a little program that a website has dropped in there to keep up with you.
Yeah, it could have been any. I mean, because I use this for Facebook obvious scam. So, she's What they're doing right now is I gave her You guys are going to love this. They're going to call me back with the >> Thank you for your time and hang on. Are you there?
>> Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. I'm here.
>> Okay. Uh Reuben, I just have assigned the technicians from the fraud protection department here in Microsoft and they are doing the security check right now onto your network. So they got to go ahead they can help us to block the unauthorized access on your computer on your network so they can fix it. And uh apart from that before I send the report to the bank I have to mention one more thing in the report and the second thing I need to verify with you right now. So then do you use the investment apps like any Fidelity, Edward Jones or any other investment app on your phone or maybe on the laptop? Let me know so I can mention that.
>> No, not on the laptop, but I can if I want to. I just don't. Um, so no, I I call up my financial advisor.
I call them up myself.
I do use Edward Jones as one of them is one of them that I use and Charles Schwab is the other one.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. They told me they told me not to use the They told me that I shouldn't use the apps because uh even though they're secure, they said that uh I've got way too much I have way too much invested and all you need is someone to you know hack into my computer and take control of it and then I'll lose all my investments. So they told me not to do that.
>> Yes, that's really good. That's the reason I'm asking you because this is something we have to send the details to the bank.
If you're using any online, you know, investments like that online on the system, on your tablet or maybe on yourself?
>> Well, I I use uh the only thing I use is my banking app on one of my phones. I have three phones and uh the one phone that I use is not used for Facebook or any other thing. There's it's got a good VPN on it and uh it's got three factor security. So, it takes a fingerprint, it takes a visual, and it takes a couple passwords to get in to my uh banking app.
>> Okay, got it.
>> So, it'd be literally impossible without my fingerprint to get into my bank account number >> banking. Right. Right. Okay. That's really good. That's perfectly fine. And in case the one more thing I have to mention there in the report because well since you're using Edward Jones and trial chef I mentioned there in the report. So the bank they're going to go ahead they're going to take care of that in just going to work on it. And one more thing so can you please help me with the net worth of the investments so I can mention the number as well in the report.
>> You want to know how much I have invested?
>> Yes.
>> Do you really need to know that? Why would you need to know that? I'm just curious.
>> No, no, no, sir. I don't need to know that.
>> You're You're Microsoft. Why would Microsoft need to know how much I have invested in my investments?
That is weird.
>> I need to tell you, sir. I personally don't need to know your >> Okay, good. Then I'll I'll wait till I talk to an invest till I talk to uh my banker because I don't feel comfortable telling you how much I have a lot of money invested. I I don't feel comfortable telling you when you just work for Microsoft. You're just Microsoft's technical support.
>> No, sir. I don't need to know that because what I'm trying to do, I'm trying to make up a report and send it to the financial institution.
>> That's all right. He'll be call He'll be calling me. He can He calls me. We'll talk.
>> But But he don't even know what my financial he don't know what my investments are. They're not tied together.
>> I don't take money out of my investments. I I roll them over into more investments. So I avoid tax I get tax deferments that way. So I don't have to pay taxes. So I keep rolling them over. They keep getting bigger. I keep making more money. I don't see the money unless I want to take money out. And I don't do that. I don't need the money.
I make enough money with my uh >> Okay, got it.
>> I make enough money with my uh my business. So, >> okay. Okay, that's fine. No, again, I'm going to put your call on hold. I'm going to send this report to the headquarters of the bank itself. So, they're going to, you know, cancel the charges approximately >> and again, you can be on the line with me. Okay. Okay. I'll be right back with you.
>> Sure.
>> Okay, guys. They I gave her She's too [ __ ] lazy to look up Superior Wisconsin. Uh, US Bank 800 number. So, I give it to him. I guarantee you I'm going to get a call to this phone number, which is my it's my private number or it's not my personal phone.
It's the one that's just private caller.
It doesn't have a name associated with it. I'm going to get a number spoofed from that bank and they're setting it up right now. Uh, and that's why it's taking so long. She asked about my investments. No, she's Guys, she's Microsoft technical support.
She don't need to know my investments.
She comes up with all this BS. You guys got to know this is 100% fraudulent what they're doing. This they are not Microsoft. And you could see I ran uh mal malware bites on my computer which you're seeing it on the screen and there's nothing on there. There was one file that that was questionable had nothing to do with them. So what I'm trying to tell you is that Facebook okay what it is and I've I've said this before and I'll say it again. I'm going to go back to Facebook. But when you guys, you can see how slow this computer is because it's old. But it's it's a good computer. Okay. But you're going to be able to see once I get there.
Once it loads up and it's slow. Okay.
Now it's now it's now it's showing it.
Okay. It's showing actually real ads over here now. But before it was shown their scam ads.
They create this stuff. I don't know why Facebook allows it. Facebook is allowing you guys to get scammed and they're doing absolutely nothing about it. Meta don't care. They only care about the money that comes in. And when you're and you know these look like a uh legitimate ads and they probably are. I wouldn't click on any ads under sponsor because you don't know what you're downloading anymore.
So, here's a free Windows uh 11 Pro version for Valentine's Day. Uh guys, it's not freaking Valentine's Day. I guarantee you if I click on it, it'll probably be Let's see what happens.
Oh, be careful. Something doesn't look right. Go back. Recommended. Watch what happens when I hit go back. Recommended.
This is This is all these scammers, the people I'm talking to that do this [ __ ] So, that might have had a This one went right back to Firefox.
So, I'm wondering if that was a real that >> might have had something in it.
>> That might have had something in it and my computer blocked it. So that's why I'm saying these sponsored ads, if Facebook wants you to click on them so they can make money, they need to fix this so you're not getting scammed.
So my re >> when a website like that, >> my recommend is don't see the X. You can actually get rid of them. I'll show.
Okay.
>> And this one here you can get rid of.
>> You should >> that one hidden. This one won't This one won't hide.
Oh, there it is. They're hidden. You can hide the ads if you don't want to look at them. But the point I'm making is that because they allow this [ __ ] from these fake Microsoft technicians, you're getting scammed at their expense.
And they're making they have to be making money. I don't know how these scammers can get away with this [ __ ] Do not click any sponsored ads. That's all I can tell you. That's my best advice to you. You guys do not click the [ __ ] ads. [ __ ] them. Meta doesn't protect you. You need to protect yourself. So, and you could see when I ran malware bites, there was nothing on this computer.
>> Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead.
>> Hello.
>> I'm here.
>> Okay, I just have sent the report to the bank as well. And right now I got a reply from the fraud protection department here in the Microsoft. They are also working on your account. Now you don't have to be on the line with me. They will take the technicians they'll take around 30 to 45 minutes. So they got to trace the enterprise access.
They're going to block them >> and they will install some securities on your network and after that you'll be good to go >> and you might receive a call then from the technical team here in Microsoft who's working on it within you know let's maybe 45 minutes. Exactly.
>> You said you're going to put some kind of securities on my network. How how do you do that? Don't you need my IP address?
>> There are technicians that they're going to give you a call before they install the securityities. They'll give you a call so they can help you to install the securities on your network so no one can hack into your network again and after that will be safe and secure.
>> Well, I don't I have a lot of security on this. I'd like to see them try to >> the anti Yes. Yes. get in on my on my uh network.
>> I'm serious.
>> You told me you're using a VPN and there are some antiviruses on the system.
>> I also have it.
>> Yeah, my router has a built-in anti virus.
>> Okay. Yeah, it's it's a premium anti virus and and uh uh just as an example, I ran um uh malware bites on my computer and it didn't detect any malware on it.
>> Yes.
>> Even though I clicked on >> it clicked on that ad. So, so I know that it's just a JavaScript written written to make me think that my computer's been hacked. But but you guys think it's been hacked. So, so go ahead have this guy call me. He was right now sir as I pull up the account I can see there is a different IP addresses that is connected with your IP address and with your laptop here and that is the reason the technicians they're working on it but you don't have to worry I >> do you know what that IP address is >> technical thing >> can you tell me what >> IP address that I can see I'm not sure that's for somebody else that is 192 you have a pen and a paper you can please write it down >> yeah I'm ready Okay. The one IP address that is I can see that is connected with your email address which is 192 >> 1927.
>> What is it? 192. Slow down. 1 192 >> 192.87.
>> Yep.
>> 2110.
>> Okay.
>> Zero.
>> Okay.
Now you're saying my email address my email my email address has a IP address that don't >> no email address don't have the IP address but your email has been used on this particular IP address that I have given you and there could be a possibility it might be yours or it's somebody else IP address your email has been used on Okay.
>> So, uh what I'm saying so you will receive a call from the technical department from the Microsoft within next 30 minutes or maybe exactly 45 minutes. Make sure if you get any call on your cell phone number, make sure you got to talk to them. Okay? So, they got to go ahead. They got to help you with this.
>> All right. I'm just trying to figure out where this IP address is because it's not mine. I can tell you that right now.
But, okay. It's not any of mine.
>> That is somebody else done in that case.
Yes, sir.
>> Right. Because it's definitely not mine.
All right. All right. Then have them call me then. Have them call me when they want to. Do I have to be by the laptop or No.
>> Uh the laptop. I'm sorry. I didn't get the question. Can you repeat it?
>> Well, have them call me, but I don't need to be by the laptop. Do you? cuz I I run a business and I'm not going to be in my office when they call.
>> No, that's okay. You don't have to be on in front of the laptop. You just have to talk to them and help you to set everything up and you'll be good to go.
Yes, sir.
>> Perfect. Okay. All right. I'll wait for them to call. Thank you.
>> Thank you. Have a great day.
>> You You too. Bye.
>> Byebye.
Okay, I'm disconnected from these pukes, guys. My I know my IP address. It's right here in front of me. Um, and I use a VPN, so it's showing an IP address in a different city.
Let's just say the city's about roughly 20 miles from my location. That's where my IP address is being shown right now because of my VPN. And uh yeah, so this [ __ ] is so fake and what they're doing. Um guys, don't fall for this [ __ ] that all they're trying to do is steal money from me that it's going to continue. I have never gotten this far, so this is probably going to be a two-hour [ __ ] uh video. Probably three hours. Probably do a a cather on you guys. So with that being said, I'm ending this segment right now.
Cather, [music] [singing] she has my heart and soul. Cather [singing] is my protector. She [music] keeps me from all harm.
Cather [singing] slays the scammers. She turns them into fraud. [singing] dogs. Watch her slay them all till they are no [singing] more.
