Another Clear Out & No Diet Yet...! | DITL Vlog

[00:00:10]Good morning everyone. I hope you're all well. Today is Monday the 25th of May and it was supposed to be Dday for me.

[00:00:21]So it was a day I was supposed to be starting my diet. If you remember, I had been going to the start last week and then remembered that we had Brook's birthday and the cup final to go, which we won. Yay. So that was us. We won the double this year. Um we won the league and we won the Scottish Cup there on Saturday. So that was good. It was a good day. It was a good game actually.

[00:00:47]um because we were playing D Firmland and their manager is Neil Lennon who used to play for us and used to be our manager twice. So it was quite weird playing against them and Martin O'Neal who's our manager at the moment was Lenny's manager way back in the day. So yeah, it was it was a big thing but it was good. It was a good game and we won and yeah, it was a good day. We ended up I had a few ciders which was lovely. I did go into Helensboro in the morning on Roxy with Jack because we decided I'm wanting to start building up my strength on the motorbike again because it's to be gorgeous weather this week. I know England have had it over the weekend, but we've had niceish weather, but it's been really cloudy. Um, but tomorrow and Wednesday and Thursday have to be roasting. So I wanted to build up my strength so that we can go to vari or something on the bike and but anyway so I had done that we sat and watched the game had a few ciders and it were really good. Um but on Friday I had got a text message reminding me of a hospital appointment that I didn't know I had.

[00:02:02]Yeah, I'm good at putting my appointments in my calendar on my phone so that I don't forget them. Um, and the way that the Queen Elizabeth works, it's all done electronically. So, you get an email to say that you've got a new message, a new letter, a new appointment, whatever. And you get a text as well. So, you go on to your electronic system and it shows you all the letters you've got, all the appointments you've got and everything.

[00:02:26]So, I went on to that when I got the text saying, "Don't forget your appointment on Tuesday." I'm like, "I've not got an appointment on Tuesday." So, I went on to it and there's still nothing there.

[00:02:36]There's no letters or appointments or anything, but I don't want to miss it if it is an appointment. So, um, we decided that if we're going to have to go through to Glasgow tomorrow anyway, there was no point in going through to Dun Barton today to do the shopping because that's just like a wasted trip. It's not a wasted trip, but you know what I mean.

[00:02:58]There's no point in doing the trip twice um because we've got enough stuff in the house to do us until tomorrow. But I've not got any diet stuff in. So, damn, I'm going to have to put it off for another day. But I promise I'm going to do it. I am looking forward to getting started.

[00:03:16]Um but that's the reason why. So, when I got that text, it kind of changed all of our plans for the weekend because yesterday I had been planning to get a lot of stuff organized in the house when we go, well, when we thought we were going today, but we're now going tomorrow. We're going to go via the tip and get rid of that old coffee machine and there's a few other bits and pieces.

[00:03:44]So, I thought while we're going to tip, there's a lot of stuff that I'm needing to get rid of that I need to clear out.

[00:03:49]So, I'm going to clear out my I was going to do it yesterday. Now, I'm going to do it today. I'm going to clear out my wardrobe and my underwear drawer because it's that bad I can't even shut it.

[00:04:01]So, yeah, I'm going to get all that done.

[00:04:04]So, like I said, I was going to do that yesterday, but then when I heard that we weren't going to go the tip until tomorrow now, I was like, "Nah, I won't bother then." And Jack was like, "Why don't we go another we run on Roxy?" And I was like, "That is a very good idea."

[00:04:20]So, because like I said, the weather was nice. It was dry and it was warm, but it was just a bit overcast. So, we went for my longest run yet. We went from here to Ara to we went up past the Kirk of the Locks restaurant. Remember that? We took my mom and dad to for the late Mother's Day um treat. So, we went up past that and then we went into Lus, got an ice cream. Jack got a coffee and um then we came the scenic route back via Glen Fruan which was lovely. And I did have my Insta on so my camera. So, I think I'm going to try and edit it and put it on my other channel. Um, so if you're subscribed to me in my other channel, the link for it's in all of my videos in the description box. Um, so keep an eye out for that because it was a lovely run. Um, I'll try and get that up soon.

[00:05:16]So, that's what we ended up doing yesterday and it was nice and Abby got all her room cleared out and everything.

[00:05:22]And then what we did was last night we had a Chinese takeaway because that was going to be our last big meal before getting healthy. Now we're not very healthy today, but we're just going to be eating whatever's in the house. I think there's stuff in the freezer. So, um I'll just have that. So, um yeah, all our plans changed. So, today's plan is to get the wardrobe cleaned out. I've also got a new dog bed that's just arrived. You can see a parcel sitting on the worktop over there. That is a new dog bed for the puppies. Um because one that we've got's a bit gross now. We've had it for at least a year, maybe a bit more, and it gets well used. So, it's been washed a couple of times, even though it's not meant to be washed. So, it's a bit gross now. So, I'll see what that's like. It's in a very small bag, so I don't know what it's going to be like, but we'll see. Um and the old dog bed can go to the tip at the same time.

[00:06:21]So, that's the plan. So, yeah, I thought I would vlog that today and then tomorrow when we do go and get the shopping and I get everything I need for my diet, I'm going to vlog that as well and tell you a bit about the diet that I'm going to be doing and um show you the stuff that I bought for it and that sort of thing. And we'll find out what my appointment is. I'm assuming it's a follow-up appointment with the specialist nurse after my back surgery because she did phone a few weeks later to see how I was doing and said that I would have a follow-up appointment with her. So, I'm assuming that's what it is. I just don't know why I never got the initial appointment through.

[00:07:03]I don't know. I might phone them first just to make sure that it definitely is me and they've not sent a reminder text to somebody like to me instead of somebody else.

[00:07:13]because it's a long week, but it's not that far from if we're going shopping anyway. It's a bit extra 15, 20 minutes.

[00:07:20]But I'd rather not go that way if we don't have to. So, I'll give them a phone at some point this morning. It's still early. It's only about half 7. So, when they open, I'll give them a phone just to double check. And um yeah, then I will come back to you and show you what I'm organizing about the house because there's a something the the coffee pod drawer thing that we had for the other coffee machine. I'm not going to throw that away. I think I'm going to keep that for my craft room. But anyway, I'll tell you all that when I come to it. So that's what we've been up to and that's what I'm going to be getting up to. I will see you soon. Oh, before I go just now, I want to show you something that Jack bought me when we were out yesterday. When we stopped in at L, the shop that's got they do loads of really good rolls and things like that, but the ice cream and the coffee and everything.

[00:08:08]Um, it's like a little gift shop as well, and they had loads of Highland cow things, but some of them were just too expensive. But we saw this and thought it was gorgeous, so Jack bought me it.

[00:08:20]Look, how gorgeous is she? So, she's a key ring and she was only $4.99. So, Jack bought me her. Isn't she just so cute? She is lovely. Look, just thought I would show you that.

[00:08:34]Anyway, I'll catch up with you soon. So, that is the dog bed that we have just now. And as you can see, it is well worn, well used, and it definitely served its purpose. It was a teu one again. Um, so I'm going to replace it with this. Now, look at the size of the bag. It's not huge. So, I've not got high hopes, but it said it was an XXL and it said that it was suitable for large dogs like Alsations Retrievers.

[00:09:01]It's pretty impossible to get a Hugo sized one. Hello, Hades. Do you want to see what this is? Hey, do you did I see a dog bed? What about Willa? Does want to see? Um, so we will see. Molly's over there. She just lies on our bed or her knee. Don't you? Don't you, we girl.

[00:09:20]Right, let's see what this is like. Will we see Hades, will we? Yeah, it's not great. That's meant to be an XXL. What do you think? Hades is very thin. Look, very thin. It's not going to be overly comfortable, but it's better than lying on the floor, isn't it, pups? And to be fair, through the night they sleep on the bed with us, don't you? Unless they're too hot and then they get down and on the floor. Oh, here's the big boss coming. I don't think it's you go size.

[00:09:50]Are you going to check it out, Hugo? I think you might you might manage to fit a paw on it. Look, you going to see. You going to go on it? No. Okay. Are you going to go on it?

[00:10:05]If any of them lie on it, I'll let you see. But I'll put the price on the screen. It wasn't expensive.

[00:10:10]One of these days we'll learn and we will buy expensive from a proper shop.

[00:10:15]But dog beds are extortionate, especially for big ones out like pet shops and things. But anyway, that's that. Anyway, I'm going to get rid of that horrible one when we go the tip and we'll put that one down. Well, it's a lovely morning, so we're going to take the pups out before we before I get started on all the clearing out. Um, want to take them out just now in case it gets too hot later on. Don't want to take the dogs out in the heat. So, yeah, I think I'm going to take the F35 again.

[00:10:42]Here comes Ma. going to take the F35 again and see if it cooks better on the grass with it being dry. We'll see how that goes. And then if not, then I'll know just to take my actual scooter every time I go along. Anyway, let's go out into the sunshine for a walk. What a beautiful day. It's only about half 9 in the morning and it is already absolutely roasting. So, it's a good job we brought them out just now and not waited because it's already vering on too hot for them.

[00:11:11]And I've got my big hoodie on. I might take it off actually for on the way back because it is warm. I've just phoned the neurology uh Queen Elizabeth to make sure it is an appointment and it is. So I don't know how they don't know how I never actually got the the appointment through. But it is for a spine complex spine surgery review. So it's just for the the operation that I had a couple of months ago. So I'll go to that tomorrow. But let me just show you how gorgeous it is out here today. Look how nice is it.

[00:11:47]It is so nice. A little duck went swimming past earlier, quacking away to itself, but I was on the phone, so I couldn't film it. And um just along the road there, there's an honesty box has appeared selling fresh eggs. Obviously, the people in the house must have chickens and um they're selling their eggs. So, I went up to have a we look £250 for half a dozen, but there was none there. Um, so they've got the we the we cash tin there that you meant to put your money in to to take half a dozen eggs, but there wasn't any. But as Jack was saying, we don't know how long they've been sitting out, like if there is any there. I don't know if they put dates on them or anything because I wouldn't want to take them if they'd been there for a week in the sunshine.

[00:12:27]You know what I mean? Um, but anyway, it's quite nice to see it. If I get a chance, I'll film it on the way past.

[00:12:33]But it's got an honesty box, but it's also got a camera. So, here's an honesty box, but we don't trust you.

[00:12:40]Anyway, here's the puppies coming. There they are. There. So, we're just going to head back now.

[00:12:48]How lovely is it? Nice and peaceful and quiet. There are some clouds, but I think the plan is we're going to go back. Jack's going to put the shade up on the terrace. We're going to sit and have a coffee. Then, Jack's going to get the grass cut and I'm going to get sorted. I really can't be bothered now.

[00:13:04]I shouldn't sit down in the morning. I should just do it cuz when I sit down, I can't be bothered. But yeah, that is the plan. There's a Molly. Molly, Molly, come on then.

[00:13:16]There she is. Good girl. Yay. There it is. Be honest box.

[00:13:22]It's really quite cute.

[00:13:25]Fresh eggs.

[00:13:31]So, got the shade up. Look at Hugo sitting on the chair. I love how he sits like that. He's his bum on the chair and his paws on the ground and iced coffee.

[00:13:42]Going to sit out here and enjoy that before we get started. Hey puppies. Look at Molly going into the sunshine. She's like, I don't need the shade.

[00:13:51]>> Put it off long enough. So, I need to get all of this sorted out to be honest.

[00:13:56]A lot of it's not for the bin. It's just like wintry stuff and I've not got enough room for it. So, that's all like spare bedding and things. So, I'm going to find somewhere else for that so that I can use that space. And I'm kind of hoping that I find my bag that I use on the motorbike because I can't find it and it's got the spare camera battery and the one in it. So, I'm kind of hoping it's in there somewhere. I knew where it was when it was in the my craft room. I knew exactly where it was when my craft room was a mess. Now that I've started tidying it, I don't know where it is. I've got no idea what I've done with it. So, hopefully I'll find it.

[00:14:32]Anyway, this is what I'm wanting to sort out today. And I won't show you in detail, but that is the drawer that's needing fixed, too.

[00:14:43]I'm going to put some music on and get on with it. Right, this is how it's looking now. So, everything that was up there is now sitting there ready to go somewhere else, like all the spare bedding and stuff. And I've cleared out a lot of that. So, yeah, it's still all long sleeves because I hate being cold, but all my t-shirts are in there, so I know where my t-shirts are. And I've got sort of around the house clothes. I've got hoodies. I've got going out stuff.

[00:15:12]And I've got my other shoes down there.

[00:15:15]And all my old jumpers and stuff. Not my old jumpers, but all the jumpers and things I'm keeping but don't need until winter. and also my big thick pajamas and big thick socks and everything out of my drawer are in there. I just put them in another vacuum bag. So, they're all in there vacuum packed. I don't know if Jack's going to be able to squeeze that in there for me. Hope so, because it's easier than having to put it up the loft and then get it back down again.

[00:15:42]But that's that.

[00:15:45]And I was actually a lot more ruthless than I thought it was going to be. I was trying things on and like trousers and things and if they didn't fit, they were going in the bin. So, that's all been sorted as well. I've got my motorbike stuff there. Still not found that bag. I don't know what I've done with it. See, when my craft room's a mess, I know where things are because I started tidying it. I've got no idea where I put it. Anyway, that drawer is looking much better now.

[00:16:12]I won't dwell on it because it's on these.

[00:16:17]Look at me. I am bright red. I'm a sweaty mess. That's why I didn't bother washing my hair or anything this morning because I thought, "No point. I'm going to be a sweaty mess." So, I'll try and get Jack I'll try and get Jack to put that up in the the wardrobe. He's going to find somewhere for all that stuff.

[00:16:34]That stuff can go at the tip. And then I'll show you the coffee machine and things like what I'm doing with all that. Yay. It fits in. It's quite heavy.

[00:16:42]I hope the shelf doesn't break, but it fits in. So, that's good. Yeah. So, that is a coffee machine that is going to the tip. It's all leaking and just not working now. But to be fair, we've had it for month years, a good couple of years. I need to make sure that the I'll need to empty the water tank. But this here is the pod drawer. So, I'm just going to bin all them. But I think I'm going to put this pod drawer in my craft room because it might be quite good for some organization. Maybe I like small molds and things. I don't know. I'm going to put it in and see when I'm sorting out my room. If it's no good, I can tip it. But I'm going to take all these pods out and I'll show you where I'm going to put it. It needs cleaned as well. Look, very dusty. Could write my name in it.

[00:17:26]And this is where I'm going to put it.

[00:17:28]This is my supplimation printer that isn't working anymore. It won't connect to the Wi-Fi or anything. It's just too old now. Um, you know what these things are like technology. It just it all moves on. So, I'm going to get Jack.

[00:17:40]It's too heavy for me. I'm going to get Jack to put that through beside the coffee machine and I'll bring the pod thing through and we'll see what it looks like. But I'll probably put all that stuff back on it. Look, there's my Highland cow hair. I've still not done anything with it, but I will. I'm determined.

[00:17:58]Yay! I found it. I knew I would have put it somewhere safe. My motorbike bag, my coup. Good. I'm glad I've got that. I'm going to hang it where in Jack's room where the helmet and everything goes so that I know where it is. Oh, thank goodness for that. I've got other camera bits in there. That will be why. Duh.

[00:18:17]Anyway, I knew it' be there somewhere.

[00:18:19]So, that is the the pod thing there.

[00:18:21]It's still empty at the moment. I've put my cool hair in my handmade Scottish dog paw. And in case you think I'm tinky with all the baby oil, it is for snow globe tumbler. I promise.

[00:18:35]I'm exhausted now. I am going to go and sit out on the terrace, enjoy the sunshine, have a nice cold drink before I think about feeding the puppies.

[00:18:45]I'm exhausted, but I feel good having done that. My back's sore. Better be careful. Um especially since I've got that appointment tomorrow, but um yeah, I'm happy now. Especially since I found my bag. Yay. Do you like my new cow?

[00:19:01]They appear everywhere. That was another move by. But just in case h you don't watch my team walls, I thought I would show you. That's just my craft room door, the outside of it. So, yay.

[00:19:13]I had to Jack's not said anything. He will have noticed it, but he's just keeping quiet. He knows now. The cool fairy brought it. Seems to be liking the new bed.

[00:21:10]>> Uh, Molly, I don't think so. Molly's trying to get in the cabin for our biscuits. She's already had them. Um, >> just so I have organized everything that needed organized. So, that's good. Jack's got everything in the car now, ready to go to the tip tomorrow.

[00:21:28]>> Tip time. Do you think we needed a tip run? It's the next day and yeah, between Aby's room and everything I cleared out, the car is rather full, but I'm I'm in an now about my diet. I knew this was going to happen. See, if I don't start on a Monday, it's terrible cuz I'm thinking I was going to start tomorrow and I was all set for it, but my appointment isn't until half 3 and we'll go asa on the way home. So, it will be too late to start it tomorrow. And then wedd supposed to be going in Beri for a run on the motorbike on Roxy. So we might have an ice cream or something when we're there. So I'm thinking maybe I'll wait till Thursday, but that's a funny day to start a diet.

[00:22:09]So I don't know. I will let you know when I start. I'm definitely going to because I need to do something. Um but yeah, I just don't know when now. So I'm going to head off. I'm I won't vlog tomorrow now. Um because although we're going to ASA, I'm not going to start my diet. But I probably will vlog on Wedding Day since we're going to Emperor for a we run. I think my dad's coming on his we scooter too. We'll give him an hour's head start probably.
