Teddy feels very sorry that Janek got into trouble instead of her. On the other hand, the German soldiers lock some prisoners in a gas chamber and release poisonous gas inside, due to which everyone dies in agony after some time. Now the days pass and the cruelty continues. Before dawn, the prisoners are put to work. They do not get proper food or rest. Instead, the Germans make them work for hours, and if anyone tries to stop them. One day a soldier throws a piece of bread on the ground. Two hungry prisoners pounce on it as if it were wild animals. Seeing this, an idea comes to the officer's mind. He decides to have the prisoners compete, and the winner will get the piece of bread. The first round begins and then Teddy's name is called. Teddy has not boxed for a long time, but still he defeats everyone one by one with ease. Seeing his amazing performance, a German soldier is very impressed and challenges Teddy to fight him head-on. Teddy accepts the challenge and a fierce hand-to-hand fight ensues between the two. As soon as the fight begins, the officer throws several powerful punches, but Teddy deftly dodges each blow and throws a punch at the right time. The officer fell flat on the ground. Seeing Teddy's speed and skill, the officer was even more impressed and gave Teddy the entire meal as a reward. Teddy, trembling, shared the food with his comrades.
