WATCH LIVE: Chiwenga To Stop Mnangagwa At Tomorrow's Politburo Meeting

[00:00:11]And today is the 26th of May 2026 and we are continuing with our coverage of Vice President Chiwenga who is now ready to become the next president of Zimbabwe.

[00:00:24]And I'm so excited by the support that Chiwenga is getting across the board.

[00:00:29]And tomorrow we've got two important events that are going to be taking place.

[00:00:34]And Chiwenga will be at the center of everything. As I said Chiwenga is the most important person right now in Zimbabwe.

[00:00:41]He's going to be the new president of Zimbabwe. He's next in line.

[00:00:45]And there's no nothing Mnangagwa can do about it. Mnangagwa has been attempting to go to the third term.

[00:00:50]And I'm excited to say everybody is now aligned with Chiwenga and Chiwenga is right on his way to become the next president of Zimbabwe. So, let's quickly look at what is going to happen tomorrow. Tomorrow we've got the burial at the National Heroes Acre of the late Brigadier General retired Selundy Khuma who passed away at his farm after he collapsed. And then we've got uh the Politburo meeting of ZANU-PF that is going to take place in the afternoon.

[00:01:20]In fact, let's look at the exact time when the Politburo is going to take place. So, the Secretary General of ZANU-PF, Comrade Advocate Jacob F. N.

[00:01:29]Mudenda advises members of the public of a Politburo meeting to be held this Wednesday the 27th of May 2026 at 1400 hours.

[00:01:40]The meeting shall be held at the ZANU-PF headquarters.

[00:01:43]So, these are very important meetings because these are the meetings when open discussions take place within ZANU-PF.

[00:01:51]And previously uh Vice President Chiwenga has used these opportunities to explain the values of ZANU-PF and to stop Mnangagwa and his group from implementing the evil plan to go to a third term.

[00:02:07]And he has also presented a dossier at this politburo meeting in which he detailed the corruption that was being undertaken by coup d'état greed and the people around Mnangagwa. He has also used the opportunity to confront Mnangagwa in the past regarding his desire for a third term.

[00:02:26]So, now that we are going to next week, which is when the reading is going to take place, we expect the reading to take place between the 6th and 8th.

[00:02:35]And we expect that Chiwenga is going to make his final stand uh tomorrow. That is the last politburo meeting before this bill is taken to parliament.

[00:02:44]The bill is highly unpopular.

[00:02:47]The generals, Zimbabwe intelligence, the churches, everybody has openly said the bill must be stopped.

[00:02:54]And Zimbabwe intelligence in a memo, a legal memo which was written, which was presented here a few months ago, it said if Mnangagwa wants to proceed with the bill number three, cap three, he must then take it to a referendum.

[00:03:10]So, those are some of the topics that are going to be discussed. It is clear that the majority of Zimbabweans have expressed their desire for a referendum and outright denial or rejection or withdrawal of the bill. So, we're right next to the moment when that withdrawal will take place.

[00:03:27]The region of SADC has rejected Mnangagwa's plan.

[00:03:31]We have heard that this weekend SADC presidents have approached Botswana president Duma Boko and asked him to approach Mnangagwa to stop his plan to go to a third term.

[00:03:44]That is after a first attempt to use the president of Mozambique uh who went to South Africa to say Mnangagwa must not go to a third term. So, in the region, in this region of SADC, there has been an open rejection of Mnangagwa's attempt to go to the third term.

[00:04:01]And I hope that President Ramaphosa has been able to prevail against Mnangagwa's wish to go to the third term. So, if we're going to see anything, it is going to be an outcome of what is going to happen tomorrow.

[00:04:14]These next 10 days are very, very important. You know that we started this program of evening broadcast so that I can update you on what is going to be happening.

[00:04:23]We are right there right now. We Chiwenga is just about to become the next president of Zimbabwe. Chiwenga is loved across the board. And I am so excited about what is going to happen to our country.

[00:04:34]As I say to you every night, Muchaita Mariyo Kumana, Muchaita Mariyo Mukazvurega, Zimbabwe is going to be one of the richest countries in the region because the country is well positioned, it's got abundant resources, it's got abundant human resource capital, and we are going to do very, very well. The problem we've had right now was the evil and corrupt rule of Mnangagwa. Pasi na iye, pasi na Mnangagwa, pasi na Auxillia, pasi na Shawn, pasi na Emmerson, uh Emmerson Mnangagwa, pasi na pasi, [laughter] na iye. Down with Emmerson because uh they say makapupika.

[00:05:10]I think I've covered all the people I wanted to say pasi to today.

[00:05:14]Are you guys ready?

[00:05:16]Are you ready to fight?

[00:05:17]Are you ready for a new future?

[00:05:20]This is not a time to sleep. This is not a time to rest. We are in for one of the biggest changes in our country.

[00:05:27]And all of you are going to do well. We are not going to live in foreign countries. We are going to not not going to live in poverty. We are going to do well. And that is under the leadership of the new president Chiwenga, which is coming very, very soon.
