Trump Lawyers Face DISBARMENT over EPSTEIN COVER-UP!!

[00:00:00]Are we going to see Pam Bondi and Todd Blant disbarred? Two attorney generals appointed by Trump. Both of them have had ethical complaints filed against them, numerous ethical complaints filed against them. We just saw Pam Bondi sit in front of the House Oversight Committee and have a Department of Justice attorney feel the questions.

[00:00:22]questions that were asked of her, not under oath, not in front of a camera, despite the fact that that was what the subpoena required. She tried to get out of it, saying she wasn't the Department of Justice attorney general anymore, basically put all the blame on the current Department of Justice, Todd Blanch. But in the meantime, ethical complaints that had been filed against her in Florida were shielded because she was a federal official appointed by Congress and that was what the Florida laws allowed the shielding. Well, Todd Blanch is licensed in New York and New York doesn't have such a shield. In fact, quite the opposite. The Department of Justice back in March tried to issue a new policy saying that if any ethical complaint was filed against the Department of Justice lawyer because at that point so many have been filed against Pam Bondi and Todd Blanch that they could not move forward. The ethical complaints could not move forward in whatever jurisdiction they were licensed in unless the Department of Justice itself said that there was merit and allowed it to proceed. Well, do you know who decided that was not a good idea?

[00:01:32]Well, there was public comment for this new Department of Justice policy. And the New York Bar Association submitted a letter saying quite the opposite. that the New York Bar Association, the state in which Todd Blanch is licensed, felt that it was actually required by Congress, for them to investigate any ethical complaints against a sitting Department of Justice attorney, that includes the attorney general, Todd Bland. Now, take a listen because Pam Bondi is basically trying to shift all the responsibility to Todd Blanch. But at the end of the day, they both have a whole heck of a lot of responsibility, not only to the Epstein survivors and certainly the American people, but to the bar association that licenses them and requires them to practice law with certain professional responsibilities and ethics and could dis disbar both of them. [00:02:49]>> What she's saying here in her words and remarks is that it was Todd Blanch, the current acting AG, that was leading the Epstein investigation. And quite frankly, all of the mistakes that we saw, the redactions, not protecting survivors, she continues to push that back onto the acting AG, Todd Blanch, who by the way was Donald Trump's former personal lawyer.

[00:03:15]I also personally asked the former AG five times and five different questions about her conversations with President Trump, whether he directed her any at any given time on the Epstein files, what he knew, what he asked her to redact or not. And she refused to answer any questions about President Trump. In fact, she said that she would not speak or or respond to any questions that had anything to do with President Trump.

[00:03:47]>> Now, first of all, the Epstein Transparency Act was law. She at the end of the day was the head of the Department of Justice. It was up to her to follow the law in terms of redacting survivor information and unredacting relevant information and frankly releasing all the files. She did not do that. So it's regardless of what she wants to put the blame on Todd Blanch.

[00:04:09]She had not only a legal duty under congressional law, but a duty as a lawyer, a duty of care, a duty of professional responsibility and ethics.

[00:04:20]In fact, her handling of the Epstein law is being investigated by watchdog groups, government watchdog groups, because of it really obviously seems to have broken the law. the fact that she was represented about a Department of Justice lawyer will not help her. Now, the ethics complaints that have been filed against her in Florida do include having to do with the Epstein groups. It also, however, has to do with the fact that her Department of Justice attorneys had violated court orders over a hundred times. Again, she's the top lawyer in terms of that department and also ethical complaints filed against her because of the the basically vindictive prosecutions that she tried to go after.

[00:05:07]Trump's enemies, Leticia James, James Comey, these are ethical complaints, really strong. And of course, they could not go forward. The Florida court said because of their sheer laws, the federal official basically was protected. She is no longer protected. And do I need to remind you that really the only people really the only people that face consequences in Trump 1.0 0 attorneys Cydney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman disbarred because of fraud on the court statements they made in the 2020 election.

[00:05:48]This bar association has an independence and has actually really strict rules about their professional responsibility and ethics. And when you do what Pam Don Bondi has done, you are being a bad lawyer and you are violating the bar association's really basic ethics and responsibility. And it is so important for them to actually enforce it because seeing the attorney general act as if the law doesn't matter. And let's talk about Todd Blanch, Trump's personal former attorney. Certainly acting as if his current client is still Donald Trump and not the American people. If the bar association allows that to all move forward without any consequences, then everybody thinks less of lawyers, thinks less of the legal profession. It is literally the purpose of that bar association to make sure lawyers act in a way that clients can feel as if lawyers are trustworthy, as if the American people at a whole can trust our legal system. So, let's talk about Todd Blanch because he has had numerous ethical complaints filed against him and this has and this and I'm not even talking about what's been happening with the generosex/fund.

[00:07:06]He hasn't yet had a complaint filed against him with that, but he will because that one perhaps is the most egregious. I have said many times here on Midas that I feel as if that is malpractice. He did not file one motion in Trump's $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS before settling it for this $1.8 billion slush fund. And then he has Trump file a dismissal in the case without saying there's a settlement but then puts out to the American people an agreement that says settlement agreement in Trump versus IRS. Basically the sitting president of the United States in his personal capacity and the attorney general of the United States came up with this concoction to try to give Trump this January 6 slush fund but in a way to not tell the court. Of course, they tried to come up with this way because Congress has authorized a judgment fund by which the government can settle settlements, but they knew that the judge wouldn't allow it. So anyway, we have had 35 federal judges say this is a fraud on the court. I I believe this is certainly malpractice.

[00:08:14]No defense attorney in the world would ever hand over anything without filing a motion in defense, especially when the judge doesn't even think there's jurisdiction. So he will certainly get an ethical complaint against that, but he's already had ethical complaints filed against him because of his handling of Abrego Garcia as we know. I mean they what they have did to that man sending him of course to that torturous prison in El Salvador and then bringing him back only to bring human trafficking charges against him and those were just dismissed. The judge saying the timing of all of this was clearly a vindictive prosecution and dismissing his criminal charges.

[00:10:06]Todd Blanch also has an ethical complaint filed against him for his handling of crypto cases because he didn't recuse himself despite having a huge crypto holding. Never mind Glenn Maxwell being sent to a Kushier prison after that interview with Todd Blanch.

[00:10:22]Now the New York Bar Association president sends this letter to the Justice Department. I mean, do we question the fact that they're putting forward this policy right in the midst of all of these ethical complaints against Todd Blanch? So, the New York Bar Association pushing back on this idea that they cannot investigate ethical complaints against licensed lawyers in their state unless the Department of Justice says so. I mean, that's basically the policy. says this, quote, "While the Justice Department urges that the rule is needed to quote end the weaponization of the bar complaint and investigation process," end quote. I mean, my gosh, they love the word weaponization right there. You know, this is like a Trump Trump word.

[00:11:06]Uh, the New York Bar goes on to say, "In fact, it is the proposed rule that will politicize the process. The proposal would allow the Department of Justice to protect its allies by delaying and suppressing its own and quote investigations within the federal bureaucracy with no timeline for action while denying oversight by the lawful stewards of professional ethics, state bars and courts. There is of course nothing in federal law or the state disciplinary process that would prevent the Department of Justice from investigating and disciplining its own its attorneys should the department deem it necessary.

[00:11:52]Any lawyer who abandons their oath to the Constitution by intentionally misrepresenting facts or law in court should be properly subject to the same discipline as every other attorney, even if they work for the Department of Justice. And I would say especially if they work for the Department of Justice.

[00:12:14]I mean, my gosh, the Department of Justice wants a carveout because you are so senior that your title is confirmed by Congress. You want to give somebody with that much more power a carve out to not properly practice law and do their profession.

[00:12:36]No. to the New York Bar Association, no matter what, an attorney needs to be able to be investigated and disciplined if the facts merit it. So really strong letter by the New York Barcason pushing back which is clearly meant to be a shield creation of a shield to have these Department of Justice lawyers like Todd Blanch to u not be investigated as they should because at the end of the day too I mean lawyers sometimes get investigated and maybe doesn't have merit doesn't mean you automatically get disbarred. That's all this does is allow an investigation. And frankly, there's a lot of very serious issues that I believe Todd Blanch and Pam Bondi have done to merit their disparment along with a lot of other Trump lawyers who already have done that.
