[00:01:38]Knowledge did not produce reality. It removed ignorance.

[00:01:49]Brahman, the absolute reality, is like the rope.

[00:01:58]Human beings spend their lives trusting what they see. They see success and failure, gain and loss, youth and old age, birth and death.

[00:03:21]They chase experiences, believing that fulfillment lies in acquiring more objects, more knowledge, more achievements.

[00:03:30]Yet every achievement eventually fades.

[00:03:33]Every pleasure eventually ends.

[00:03:36]Every possession eventually changes hands.

[00:03:40]The seeker who understands Advaita begins to turn inward.

[00:03:44]Instead of asking, "What can be seen?"

[00:03:47]he asks, "Who is seeing?"

[00:03:49]Instead of asking, "What can be obtained?" he asks who desires to obtain.

[00:03:55]This inquiry gradually dissolves ignorance.

[00:03:59]True knowing is not the accumulation of information. It is the c- >> recognition of what has always been present.

[00:04:07]Information belongs to the mind. Knowing belongs to being itself.

[00:04:13]The mind collects facts just as a library collects books.

[00:04:17]Yet no amount of books can reveal the one who is reading them.

[00:04:21]A person may spend a lifetime studying scriptures, philosophies, sciences, and religions.

[00:04:27]But if he has not discovered the one who is aware of all knowledge, he remains a stranger to himself.

[00:04:35]The greatest mystery is not hidden in distant galaxies or ancient texts.

[00:04:40]It is hidden behind the simple feeling of I am.

[00:04:45]Before every thought, before every identity, before every memory, there is the silent awareness of existence.

[00:04:53]That awareness is the doorway truth.

[00:04:57]Shankara Charya points directly to this reality. He does not ask you to become something extraordinary.

[00:05:07]The search for truth ends where the sense of separation ends.

[00:05:12]The moment a wave realizes it is not separate from the ocean, all fear disappears.

[00:05:58]Anger may >> arise, sadness may arise, joy may arise, but awareness remains unchanged. It silently witnesses every movement without becoming any movement.

[00:06:12]Most people spend their lives trying to control the waves of the mind. The wise discover the ocean beneath the waves.

[00:06:20]Once the ocean is known, the waves lose their power to disturb.

[00:06:25]This is why true peace cannot come from changing circumstances.

[00:06:30]Circumstances are always changing.

[00:06:32]Peace comes from knowing that which never changes.

[00:06:36]The world teaches you to improve your identity.

[00:06:39]>> Ultimately, a search for the self.

[00:06:42]A person believes he wants wealth, power, recognition, or pleasure, but beneath every desire is the longing for completeness.

[00:06:51]The tragedy is that completeness is sought in objects that are themselves incomplete and temporary.

[00:06:58]Therefore, every achievement brings only temporary satisfaction.

[00:07:02]For a brief moment after a desire is fulfilled, the restless mind becomes quiet.

[00:07:08]In that silence, the natural bliss of the self shines forth.

[00:07:13]Mistakenly, people attribute the happiness to the object obtained. They do not realize the happiness came from the temporary absence of desire. The bliss was always within. The object merely removed a veil for a moment.

[00:07:28]Understanding this changes everything.

[00:07:31]The seeker stops chasing >> shadows and begins looking toward the light.

[00:07:37]He realizes that what he seeks is the very source from which seeking arises.

[00:07:44]The mind may resist this truth because the ego survives through identification.

[00:07:49]It wants to remain the center of experience.

[00:07:52]It constantly creates stories about who you are, what you need, and where fulfillment lies.

[00:07:59]Yet every story changes.

[00:08:02]As a child, you had one identity.

[00:08:04]As an adult, you have another.

[00:08:07]Countless beliefs, emotions, and opinions have come and gone.

[00:08:12]But the awareness that witnessed them all has remained the same.

[00:08:17]That awareness is your true nature.

[00:08:20]It has never aged. It has never been damaged.

[00:08:24]It has never been improved or diminished.

[00:08:26]It simply is.

[00:08:29]When this is deeply understood, a profound shift occurs.

[00:08:37]Actions [snorts] continue, but the sense of doership fades.
