This video documents a French country house renovation project where Victor is installing travertine stone from Turkey on the facade, while Noah explores interior design ideas including placing a frame TV in an 18th-century easel from a Provence chateau; the renovation process involves careful stone cutting, primer application, and systematic facade work over a two-week period.

Our Little Yellow French House Gets A Facelift Ep. 78追加:
Well, we were just driving down the road and we saw this beautiful >> heaven or what?
>> Yeah, it's gorgeous.
>> We went from like 80° yesterday and now it's uh we get a little reprieve from that. This all of these co all the poppies.
>> Yeah, it's very nice as far as the eyes can see.
>> Reminds me of um Wizard of Oz when she lies down in the poppy fields.
>> Yeah, it is like that. It's beautiful.
All right, let's get out of here.
>> Jenny's found herself a little table.
>> I'm thinking it might be too short for you.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> You know, it's very short.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, you're right. You're right. Okay.
Next.
>> Noah has another idea.
>> So, to the right of the chimney, we have the two sconces on either side. On the right, it's a bigger area. And this where we want to put the TV. And we're going to get one of those frame TVs. So it looks like this. And this is a picture, but it's actually a TV. And we'll get a nice frame. This is a giant easel.
And that area is kind of a wasted space.
And we could put this giant easel >> in that place.
>> Very big.
>> Put the big put the big picture, which is actually a TV, inside of this. Um it's 75 I believe as I recall. So yeah.
So the picture would come up to here.
The the frame would the TV would come up to here. It goes to 120 I believe. 124.
So that would be the size of the TV.
>> I'm going to I'm looking at the whole entire thing. Okay.
>> That would be the size of the TV.
>> Okay.
>> And up in there.
>> It might look too obtrusive in that room, but let's map it out.
>> It might, but it's pretty unique. Let's find out how much this this uh >> monstrosity costs. This is a p >> I want to I can't tell. We have to ask.
>> Let's see. Okay, we're going to >> unique one. Let's let's look into this.
>> So, what we found out is this easel is actually from an 18th century chateau in the area or at least in Provence they said. So, I'm trying to get more details on that. And Noah did a chat GPT rendering of what it would look like in the salon. Now, of course, we're putting the TV on here. And it's pretty massive, this piece. And here's another chat GPT rendering of putting the TV on the smaller easel. So, we're going to have to think about this. I love the history, but it is very big. Good morning. We are here with Victor this morning. It is facade day. We're just waiting on the stones and the primer. But while we wait for that, that's going to arrive this morning. He's going to get started on the the front step cuz we have that one done. He's going to finish this right now. Very exciting. There he is. Victor the stone step. I cannot believe he is picking up that stone. You don't realize how heavy this stone is. When we purchased this, it took three men just to put this into the car. And Victor is picking it up like it's a napkin. I love it. You You got to love it. All right.
So, now we're going to work on the front steps. So, at least we can get something done while we're waiting for the stones for the facade to arrive.
No more San set up a trouble.
Just littleation cutter.
Uh this goes cut EC and then this is inside. No two uh It's better to see EC and then cut EC and >> behind.
Cut the difference 4 cm.
So you have 4 cm cut first.
>> Exact.
But why cut?
>> Oh, because you want Yes. 1 1.5 cm. Okay.
>> Wait.
The visual it's new.
>> No. Okay. Compro >> [music] [music] >> rest.
Okay. Okay.
>> [music] >> Heat.
Heat.
[snorts] >> [music] >> Hello and no assist.
So, huh?
Oh.
Castilla the concrete car the concrete >> and move the stone >> uh it's not uh just it's possible uh um 0.5 mm Little cut stone >> and exactly if I move the stone way.
Um three three piece uh the dra and the drink >> uh 1 cm 0.5 cm >> the joint we but uh but this gap and this gap should be same way we like uh uh >> once Victor finishes this, it's going to be a gem. I love these old stones from Burgundy.
And so it begins. Victor's going to spend the next two weeks working at the house so he can get the whole facade done. He's going to do the primer first and then put the white stone on the outside. I can't wait to see the result.
And if he has some time, he can do my pizza oven and outdoor barbecue down by the pool.
>> [music] >> What are you working on over here?
>> Trying to figure this out. It's very difficult. Very diffic >> for Victor to cut the wood for our for our beams that are going to go on the facade of the house.
>> All right. And speaking of the facade of the house.
>> Yeah.
>> Look at this.
>> Yeah. It's crazy, huh? Blue. Blue. Aqua blue. It's a beautiful color. I like the what you picked. It looks very French country. Looks like those doors you liked in India.
>> Oh, you know what? You're actually right. That would actually look really cool. I love it. But this is just the primer that's going on before the stone.
I like your blue.
>> Here comes our stone.
I love this guy. He's super careful of all my bushes there. It's good thing that Noah trimmed all [music] this this past weekend.
Easy does it. Easy does it. We ended up having to buy eight crates of stone and this is a travertine stone from Turkey.
It's not very common in the area and a lot of our friends and the artisans didn't understand why we were getting this stone. They kept saying that we should get more of the local stone which is a mix of darker colors. But I absolutely love it. Victor loves it and I think it's going to be amazing.
All right. Well, that wraps up a great day. Victor just left. We got >> I'm so excited. And tomorrow he's going to put the stone on there. Right now it's just the what? Glue or something?
>> Well, it's at the prep, I think.
Shouldn't say.
>> Big day.
>> We'll get it tomorrow.
>> All right.
