So...I Am Dying

[00:00:00]Today's video is not going to be a happy one, but again thinking about it, when have I ever made any happy video anyway, right? So, many of you know me as Tboy I've been making videos here on YouTube for quite a while now, but I don't know how long I will be able to continue making such videos anymore because apparently I'm dying.

[00:00:21]Yeah, saying it out loud sounds so unreal, but unfortunately according to the doctors, I may not have so long of my life left. So, let's talk about it.

[00:00:34]>> [laughter] >> Yeah, back in March I finally got a job after a long time of unemployment as some of you might know, I was laid off last year and I was looking for a job and back in March I found one. I was very excited when I found that job because I mean, after who wouldn't be excited, right? After a long time of unemployment getting a job is the best thing that can ever happen to you. At least it feels so. But that excitement for me didn't last for long unfortunately because after like a week into the job, I started feeling this super tired. The lot of fatigue that I've never experienced in my entire existence and it was weird. At first I brushed it off, but then later on I started feeling this back pain too. I was like, okay, this is weird because the job that I do, like I don't do a crazy hard job that should give me a back pain or anything. And uh I didn't know what it was it. So, in the beginning I was like, okay, maybe it will go away. Let me see how it goes, right? So, I waited and I kept feeling this fatigue, you know, always tired and all, but I was like, it will go away at some point. Then one day and if I remember well, that's like March 20th, I think. It was on a weekend, should be March 20th. I was peeing and I saw blood in my urine. I got scared. I ain't going to lie, I got really scared because that was the first time I see such thing.

[00:02:04]But, also, I started feeling like it can't be a coincidence that I'm having this back pain, always feeling tired, and started seeing blood in my urine. It wasn't a lot of blood, of course, it was some stains, but it was enough to scare me, honestly.

[00:02:21]So, I decided to consult a doctor. I got an appointment So, when I went there, the doctors were they were like, "It could be anything.

[00:02:30]Basically, it could be infection, it could be STIs, it could be cancer, like a lot of things." So, they checked for infection, they also checked for STIs and all, and all the tests came negative. So, at that point, they were like, "The only thing that we are thinking that could be it is cancer."

[00:02:49]They sent me for some uh scans, you know, some imaging, and I did go for the imaging, and they told me that they saw these weird I don't know how to even call it. Like, is it a lump or Yeah, it's it's like a mass, but not a big one. Basically, they told me they saw some abnormalities in my bladder, and it could be cancer, it could be something else. So, they told me I would need to go for an autopsy to make sure that it is cancer or not. I went for an autopsy later on, and unfortunately, the results for the autopsy came out, and I have cancer.

[00:03:32]Yeah, I have bladder cancer. That was the only thing that I was ever scared of in my life. I don't know what to think about it, honestly. Right now, I'm in a state of Is this really happening to me, or is it just a bad dream, and I'm going to wake up in the morning, and everything will be okay, and none of these things happened, and all that that's that's the stage I'm in right now. So, right now they scheduled me for more tests, and I'm currently waiting for those appointments. They told me they will run some more tests, and according to the results, they will come up with the treatment plan. But, basically they told me, depending on the test, there are two options. One being the worst option. I don't know which one is the worst, actually. They both sound worst, honestly. But, one is basically surgery to remove the full bladder. I feel like that would be the worst. The other one would be chemotherapy.

[00:04:28]They told me, depending on basically the severity of the issue and what the test will show, basically. So, I'm waiting for that. Actually, that's one of the reasons I'm making this video, because I need help from you.

[00:04:41]From what I understand, it is going to be expensive, at least more expensive than I can afford. And, unfortunately, the job that I work at now, it's in a startup, and they don't pay for our health insurance, which means I'm on my own when it comes to, you know, medical bills. I thought about starting a GoFundMe, but then I was like, right now I don't know yet how much it will cost me, the whole treatment and all. So, it would be better to just wait for the test, the extra test, and the treatment plan, and understand how much it will cost me to go through whatever treatment they will ask me to go through. And then I can start a GoFundMe for anyone who would like to help. But, right now I still have to go to those appointments. I still have to meet different doctors. I still also need help with that.
