This teaching explains that believers have divine protection and no reason to fear death because God promises long life and satisfaction through Christ's righteousness. The message emphasizes that God sees believers as righteous through Jesus, not as sinners, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Key scriptures include Psalm 91:16 ('With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation') and Romans 3:22 ('the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe').

She's going to be Wednesday, May 20th.
So you guys can send in your questions if you have any questions and JW who is an amazing addition to the teaching team. We just love her. She will be available to take your questions live but of course it's um easier if you're able to send those in.
Um maybe I'll put Here we go. I'll put this up. Um you can email them in. Let me see.
To the email below, [email protected].
So, if you have any questions, JW is up this month. Um, again, thank you guys so much for joining me. My name is Ali Johnson and we are going to get started.
I think I have one more uh little announcement I want to tell you. Next week, I'm actually we're camping at the beach. I'm so excited.
So, I may or may not have a new teaching. It may be a repeat. So, if I'm looking different, it might be a past teaching.
Um, but if I go that route, it's going to be a really great teaching. Um, and I know that we will all be blessed.
It's kind of cool cuz um, my last teaching last week, let me honest, I don't usually watch my own teachings cuz I'm like, "Oh, my voice. I don't know."
But, um, I was trying You guys know I've been in Psalms 91 and Psalms 103 and I was trying to read it.
Um, and I was just getting a little frustrated cuz I'm like, "Oh, I'm not having, you know, things keep trying to grab my attention." Um, and I felt like the Holy Spirit kept saying, "Just listen to listen to your teaching. You need to listen to your teaching. Listen to your teaching." And so, I went back and I listened to last week's teaching.
And it blessed me. It was so good. And in it, I read Psalms 91 and Psalms 103.
And I was like, "Lord, you know, Holy Spirit, thank you. Thank you for speaking to me." And it's just proof that what he has us do is not burdensome.
It's not heavy. It's not ill-fitting.
It's easy. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. And me trying to sit down and study Psalms 91 and Psalms 103 was getting to be very difficult that day.
And he had just been He didn't tell me to do that. The Holy Spirit said, "Just listen to this message. Listen to this message." And I did and it was so much easier. And I was so blessed by it. So, um last week's message was really good, I thought, and tune in to what the Holy Spirit is telling you, you guys, cuz his way is better. He has freedom for you.
He is good. He has health for you. He is leading you, guiding you. He has wisdom for you, for your business, for relationships. Tune in to what he is saying, what he is speaking to you guys, because it is blessed.
I've been just um trying to like articulate to my husband how this season of my life right now, I just feel so at peace. And I'm like, the outside of my body is guaranteed to show the peace that I have on the inside.
It just it's has to happen. I feel so at peace. You know, we moved, and we just have this beautiful house, and I just feel so at peace with my children. We're in this routine. And I was just thinking, you know, where we moved to, we are walking distance to all of these neighborhood friends who love God. They just they love God. And it's so incredible. It's so nice to be with these other moms who genuinely love Jesus.
>> [laughter] >> And I can just trust them with my kids, and um just you know, talking with them, I leave encouraged. And you know, I just I feel so at peace, so blessed.
And I'm so thankful. And that is the Lord. That is who he is. He is good. He has friends for you. He has a place for you. He has good things for you. He has peace for you.
And you know, as I'm reading Psalms 91 over and over and over and over and over again, I I was talking to my husband a little bit about, man, I I'm not sure what I'm going to teach on cuz I just can't teach on Psalms 91 again. You know, I can't teach on Psalms 103 again.
And you know what? My husband was like, "Yes, you can." And he gave this example and I thought it was so good.
And the point of me bringing that up was because you can get so much out of Psalms 91, you guys. You can get everything you need.
Whatever you're going through, I I'm I think you could find it in Psalms 91.
Um but he compared it to basketball.
But he he talked about layups and how in basketball, over and over and over and over again, you will practice layups. You have to be so good at making layups or in basketball, foul shots. You know, you want to make every single foul shot.
Every time you go to the line, you want to be able to make that foul shot. You literally practice over and over and over and over and over and over again this same shot. You want to be an expert at it. And I just thought that was such a good example of you know, reading this over and over and over again, Psalms 91, just like a layup. I want to know it. I want to know it so well. And the Lord really highlighted to me this week a specific verse that I believe is for you guys. I woke up in the morning and I was telling Zane all about it. Oh my gosh, this verse, this is what I'm going to teach on. I know it's so good. And so I am believing that this one verse, verse 16, is going to be encouraging to you.
Um but we will read more than this one verse.
Psalms 91. It's Psalms 91 verse 16.
It says, "With long life, I satisfy him and show him my salvation.
With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
Uh but I had this crazy dream um and this this guy, I don't remember all of the details. I just remember the gist of it. This guy had a near-death experience. Something happened to him.
He was about to die, but he survived it.
And the thing that he was most, you know, like traumatized by wasn't what happened to him, that he almost died. It was that he almost died. He did not want to die. And when I woke up in the morning, it was just so evident to speak on this verse and to talk about, you guys, to let you know that, you know, the title a long life satisfied, there's no reason to fear death.
He has He doesn't He doesn't want your life to be cut short. That's not what he has for you. We can believe Psalms 91:16, "With long life, I will satisfy him."
And I remember so clearly thinking, you know, his life that wasn't the appointed time. He The Lord has a long life for him. He didn't have to fear that.
Um and it was just such a such a crazy dream um but with long life, I will satisfy him.
That's what he has for you, a long life satisfied.
Life and life abundantly. He came to bring life and life abundantly, a good life, a blessed life, not a barely getting by life, not a um you know, just a burdensome life, but a life that is blessed, a life that is rich.
And it says, "And show him my salvation." And that right there is also incredible because you think of salvation, he wants to show you his salvation. Taste and see how good he is.
See how good your father is.
He is so faithful. With a long life, you will be satisfied and you will see his salvation. And I think of sozo, this word salvation, what does that mean? He will show you his salvation. He will show you his healing power. He will show you abundance and no lack. He will show you how he leads you, how he guides you, how he has blessed relationships for you, how he has peace, shalom, peace for you. That is what he has. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. So, you do not have to fear death when it's the end, when it's time for you to go, guess what? You will be satisfied. He has that for you. That is one of his promises.
He has peace for you. That is what he has. He is so good. Shalom, peace. I have um written on my son's room, on the wall. Let me see it. Um it says in righteousness. This is Isaiah 54:14. I just or um Isaiah 54:13. I just thought of this as well.
All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children. That's what he has for you. Long life, satisfied. He'll show you his salvation. He has peace for you. Great shall be the peace of your children. He has peace for you. You are a child, maybe you have a child, he has peace for you. All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children.
In righteousness, you shall be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you. I was talking to a friend earlier about how we have been made righteous through Christ. We're no longer sinners trying to earn it, trying to earn it, trying to perform, trying to act a certain way, trying to be a certain way to get to heaven. No, we are the righteousness of Christ. You shall be far from oppression. But it says in a righteousness, you shall be established.
And I love that this is in Isaiah and then Christ, he died for us.
He went to a cross for us so that we could become, so that we could be established in righteousness, rooted in his righteousness, satisfied with a long life, shown his salvation, peace, rooted in righteousness. That is now who we are. We are in the new covenant. It's incredible and you know, the more you see this, the more you see the heart of the Father, the more you want to be like him, the more you know, you just you want to live this way, you want to experience how good he is, be led by him. So, let's read that again, verse 13, verse 14. And I think I'm going to continue on. Now we're in Isaiah 54.
It says, "All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children and righteousness you shall be established."
We were talking about in Romans two and three and we might go over to there but how there was sin but then he gave us his righteousness.
"You shall be far from oppression. You shall be far from sickness. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear." We have no reason to fear and that brings you back to Psalms 91, this promise of divine protection. "And from terror, for it shall not come near you."
Sickness, it shall not come near you.
And if you guys haven't tuned in to Mike's messages, they've been really good and just your thoughts, what have you been thinking and and all of these things, well, guess what? We do not have to fear. We can We can tune in to the Holy Spirit. What is the word telling us? Be a student of the word and from there for it shall not come near you. If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me. Whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. This just reminds me too how we don't have to be, you know, defending ourselves, thinking of how am I going to defend myself, how am I going to do this, how am I going to get through this? The Lord is our defender. Thank you, Jesus. The Holy Spirit is speaking on our behalf. The Holy Spirit is moving and working and and doing what needs to be done. You can rest. He is doing a great job defending you. If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me. Whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. He is your defender. He is your protector.
Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravenger to destroy. No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed. You have no reason to fear. It says, "For you shall not fear."
Cuz guess what? No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed. You don't have to fear death. There's no reason to fear poverty. There's no reason to fear sickness because no weapon formed against you shall succeed.
And you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage. This is your promise. This is for you because you are a child of God. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.
This is for us. We are children of God.
And I got to tell you, there are days where I do feel a little bit discouraged.
But then I turn on I switch my thoughts, you guys. Change your thoughts, shift your thoughts to what the word has to say, to what our father is telling us that, "Hey, you're blessed. Hey, you're the righteousness of Christ. Hey, you're healed and you're whole because this word is alive. This word is real. This word is changing you, you guys. It's restoring you, redeeming you, renewing you. He is good. He is faithful."
I'm going to start now in Psalms 91, verse 1. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high, he will abide in the shadow of the almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence, he will deliver you.
Thank you, Jesus, that you are a light to the world, that you are an example of his healing power. You guys, I just feel like some people, you are going through some serious things, a serious diagnosis that you've you've seen death. You looked at it.
But this verse is more powerful. He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler. So today I am encouraging you that as close as you came, look at Jesus, you guys. This promise is for you. Verse 16 is for you.
With a long life, I will satisfy him.
He will redeem the time for you. It's crazy how I was just thinking about pregnancy and and babies and how fast the time goes by. It's like 9 months flew by and now we have this child. It's crazy. When you're in it, it feels like it's taking forever, but after it's done, it's like, "Wow, I have this child." You know? And I just believe the Lord's going to redeem the time for you. You're going to look back in that, you know, this trial that you might be facing, that you might be going through. It's going to seem like it was forever ago, like it was nothing, like it didn't even matter.
And God is going to get all the glory, and you are going to come out stronger, better, just braver, deeper roots. Thank you, Jesus. He is faithful. He is turning this around for your good and his glory. He will will He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. So, if you are like this close to death, you guys, turn around. Look up. Look at Jesus. Look at his promises. Look at how he is faithful. You know, I read these comments and I'm so encouraged by them, and I'm also just, um, praying for you guys and believing with you guys. And some of them, they you read them and they they just seem hopeless. Like, this is where I'm at, and it's been so hard. But, you guys, let's trust Jesus. Let's trust him.
Let's take him at his word and trust what he is saying to us. You know, there there are so many stories in here where it looks impossible, but he is the God of the impossible.
Verse four, he will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings, you will find refuge. His faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night. Maybe it's terror in your life. You don't have to fear.
Nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand, but it will not come near you. And something else I want to encourage you with is to open your mouth to speak life over the situation, over your life, over where you're at.
That you are led and directed by the Holy Spirit. That that he has good plans, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. That he will exceed your expectations for your life. That you know, even today you would just dig dig down and and see what what are those desires that he planted in you so long ago that maybe you forgot because you've been going through this trial for so long.
Well, he has those desires for you. And I'm also thinking, you know, you speak to your mountain. You have the power of God in you. Stop being afraid of that mountain and speak to it. Command it to go. You have the power of life and death in your tongue. In fact, let's keep going. It says, A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place, the Most High, who is my refuge, no evil shall be allowed to befall you. No plague come near your tent, for he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
You know, they're they're they're working on your behalf. They're working behind the scenes. You guys trust your defender. Trust your father. He is good.
On their hands, they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against the stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him. I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will rescue him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
You guys, if you if you have been um afraid of death, he has a long life satisfied for you. If it's sickness sickness, if it's protection, guess what? That's all included in Psalms 91.
He has life and life abundantly for you.
He is good. He has made you the righteousness of Christ. So, you know, something else I just feel like we need to or what the Lord's encouraging us today in this in this teaching is see yourself differently. Don't see yourself as a victim. Don't see yourself afraid of death, afraid of sickness. Don't see yourself afraid. See yourself brave. See yourself rooted in righteousness. You know, if you go to Romans 3, it's first titled, "No one is righteous." Well, it says "God's righteousness upheld." Then the I'm in the ESV here. It says um above verse 9 in my Bible says, "No one is righteous." And then the title above verse 21, you know, if you continue, "The righteousness of God through faith." We are now rooted, established in Christ's righteousness. He did it for us. So, I'm going to read this. Yeah, I think we have time. I'm going to read this starting in verse 9.
Because this this is it, you guys. All of these promises All of these promises are yes and amen. And the main thing is we are rooted, established in his righteousness. So, now we don't have to be afraid of death because guess what?
He sees us the way he sees his son Jesus, perfect, blameless, righteous through Christ. It's incredible. You don't have to be afraid that, "Hey, when you die, you're going to be judged harshly." You know, he's going to go through a movie screen of all you've ever done wrong. No, he sees you like he sees Jesus, righteous, perfect, blameless.
It says, "What then? Are we Jews any better Are we Jews any better off?" No, not at all. For we have already changed charged that all.
Both Jews and Greeks are under sin, as it is written.
Um, none is righteous, no, not one. No one understands, no one seeks for God.
All have turned aside, together they have become worthless. No one does good, not even one. And it's just crazy cuz you could stop here, right? And that's what you could think, "Wow, I am so worthless."
But let's keep going. It gets way better. And maybe that's where you're at right now. You just feel worthless.
Well, let's keep going in the word.
Their throat is an open grave. They use their tongues to deceive. The venom of asps is under their lips. Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood, and their paths are ruin and misery. And the way of peace they have not known. There's no fear of God before their eyes. Verse 19.
Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law.
So that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. For by works of the law, no human being will be justified in his sight. Since through the law comes knowledge of sin. Verse 21.
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law.
Although Although the law and the prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. And that's the key for all of this. Believe it. I believe it. I believe that I am righteous through Jesus Christ. I believe that you have divine protection for me. I believe that I will live a long life satisfied. I believe that no weapon formed against me will prosper.
It says, "For there is is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, a free gift. This is all a gift. It is yours through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness because in his divine forbearance, he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time so that we might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
He is so good. He is our righteousness.
He is our strength. Verse 27.
I'm just going to read a couple more verses here. It says, "Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded by what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also. Since God is one who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith." Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means. On the contrary, we uphold the law. We begin to see ourselves this way that we are righteous through Jesus Christ. We begin to see the heart of the Father that is good, that he loves us, that he has good things for us, that he has given us these gifts because we believe in him.
We believe who he is. We believe what he did for us.
And you know, it's just um you guys, if you don't know Zane, you should probably know him. No, he's so cool though. He comes on uh for the Q&A's when whenever it's our turn, my husband comes on, but he's just so cool. And we were talking about how we're free. We are free. We're righteous through Jesus Christ, and now we have this freedom. You know, that that like if there's a Sunday night service, we're free to go or we're free to not go. We There is no condemnation.
We are led and directed by the Holy Spirit. You guys, what is the Holy Spirit telling you to do? Is he leading you to go? Is he leading you to stay?
Listen to the Holy Spirit. Listen to what he's telling you. He is for you. He has good things for you.
So you guys, thank you so much for tuning in. I am encouraged and I am excited for you guys. He has good things for you. He has good things for me. Hair is growing in Jesus' name, okay? Thank you, Lord. And just like, you know, when you're pregnant and then you have the baby and you look back and that time seemed so so short. I'm so thankful that this time is going to feel so so short.
So thank you, Jesus.
Um Yeah, he's faithful. And if I don't see you guys next week, it might be a repeat. It'll be really good.
Um I'm not sure yet, but I will see you then the following week. So it's going to be great. He is so good and he's so faithful. We are going to the beach. I can't wait. We're camping. It's going to be really exciting with the kids. Everything just feels like brighter through their eyes and and yeah, I don't know. It's just amazing.
We are We have the peace of God. We are led by the Holy Spirit. You guys are blessed. I believe you today get to live in health and live in his fullness. That your hair is growing. That you're healed and whole. That you are blessed. So you guys, life and life abundantly. Can't wait to see you. If you have any testimonies, um I read the YouTube comments um and pretty pretty frequently. So that's like the best way I feel like to get a hold of me or whatever. So, thank you guys and I will see you soon.
Were you blessed by that teaching? I sure was. It was awesome. All of our teachers are so incredible. They give their time every single week to bring forth the word of God specifically for you so that it can get into your heart and completely change your life. That is the goal. We've all been changed ourselves. God has healed every single one of us on this platform and it's pretty awesome. So, I want to thank you so much for your partnership and if you have not yet, please consider. Today, I want to encourage you to be a part of this where you are getting blessed daily. Thank you so much. We love you.
