In this video, I'm going to walk you through a live screen record of the platform. We will cover how to navigate the dashboard, how to fund your accounts, how to place your first trade, and we will even take a look in their web 3 wallet. All right.

[00:00:40]So, once you have created your account and completed the basic identity verification, which is standard security step these days, you will land right here in the main dashboard. The first thing I want you to notice is right up here at the top left. OKX is essentially two platforms in one. You have the exchange, which is your traditional centralized crypto trading platform, and you have the wallet, which is your gateway to web 3 decentralized apps. We will look at the wallet in a minute, but for now, let's stay on the exchange side. Either the assets tab on the top right, you can view your portfolio overview. This is where you will track your balance across your funding and trading accounts. Now, we will talk about funding your account. Before we can trade, we need some funds. Go on buy crypto on the top menu. OKX gives you a few options here. If you click on express buy, it takes you to a simple interface where you can buy crypto directly using your credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You simply type in the amount of fiat currency you want to spend. Let's say $100. Choose the crypto you want to receive, like USDT or Bitcoin, and hit buy. It's that simple. If you already own crypto on another wallet, you can go to assets and click deposit. Select coin you want to transfer, choose the correct network, always double-check the network matches where you are sending from, and OKX will generate a deposit address for you to copy and paste. Now that our account is funded, let's place a trade.

[00:02:20]Go to trade and select spot. Don't let this screen intimidate you if you are a beginner. It's actually laid out very logically. You have your candlestick charts, track price movement. On the left, you can search for trading pair you want. Let's search for Bitcoin USDT.

[00:02:35]Over on the right side is where the magic happens. This is your order panel.

[00:02:40]You have two main types of orders you will see, limit and market. If you select market order, you are telling OKX, "Buy my Bitcoin right now at whatever the current price is." You just enter how much USDT you want to spend and hit buy. If you select a limit order, you can set a specific lower price. For example, if Bitcoin is at $65,000, you can set a limit order for $62,000.

[00:03:07]Your order will sit in the order book right here until the price drops and fills your order. Now, here is what really sets OKX apart. Let's go back on the top left and flip the switch from exchange to wallet. You are now leaving centralized exchange and entering OKX's built-in self-custody web 3 wallet. You own the private keys here. You can create a new wallet and import an existing one like MetaMask without ever leaving OKX. You can interact directly with decentralized applications across dozens of different blockchains. You can stake your crypto in DeFi protocols under the yield tab, trade on their aggregated NFT marketplace, or swap tokens on decentralized exchange.
