Elias and the Mysterious Marble | A story by Wania Ahassan 📖🌍Added:
Elas and the mysterious marble by Wana Aassan. Once upon a time on a bright sunny day in a far away jungle lived a nasty naughty turtle called Jolly. He lives under a towering of an ancient tree with branches reaching towards the sky like grasping fingers covered in a dense canopy of leaves thick enough to filter the sunlight creating a dappled magical light on the jungle floor. This ancient tree has flowing twigs resembling a waterfall with roots that snake across the jungle floor like giant serpents. The branches are not just rigid, but sway and dance in the jungle breeze.
The jungle also houses a cool, damp, dimly lit secret cave, hiding behind a curtain of vibrant green vines and twigs filled with fluffy beds of glowing moss.
Precious stones like ambers, pearls, opal, and diamonds are beautifully scattered on the cave wall. They glow brightly in the dark. The cave is a hidden pocket, cozy and sheltered, offering refuge from the outside world.
An air of ancient magic hangs heavy in the air, whispering stories of lost civilizations.
Nearby, a splashing river with clear green water lives a nice, caring giraffe called Elas. She is a tall, strong, and brave animal loved by everyone. Elias protects the environment and looks out for both big and small creatures. She makes the place vibrant and ensures that the nasty naughty turtle Jolly does not cause any harm or hurt anyone.
One dark night, Elias was walking through the dimly lit cave when suddenly she saw a mysterious funnyl looking marble glowing peacefully on the wall of the cave. It looked different from the others. She wondered how it got there.
As soon as she touched it, a loud, scary voice shouted, >> "Leave me alone. I am the protector of the cave."
>> Elias jumped up, looking all around her.
"Who are you?" she asked politely. As Elas touched the marble again, it screamed out again. "Oh, I am so sorry.
I will let you protect the cave," said Elias, and went away. The very next day, Jolly the naughty turtle crawled quietly into the lonely cave while the mysterious marble was sleeping. Jolly had overheard their conversation the previous night. He was excited and had a mischievous plan. Jolly calmly took the marble out of the cave so that it wouldn't wake up. However, the ever vigilant marble yelled, >> "Drop me now. I am the protector of the cave."
>> But unlike Elias, Jolly did not listen.
He was about to put the marble in his hidden pocket when suddenly the angry marble released his powers and strange things started happening all around the jungle. The first thing that happened was the marble changed the weather. The jungle was blazing hot, and all the lush green trees became dry brown woods. The clear blue streams and rivers were now hard rocks with no water. The spell immediately spread all over the world, and animals in Antarctica, especially the polar bears, penguins, and snow foxes, did not like it.
They all felt sick because they were not used to the hot weather and Antarctica did not feel like Antarctica anymore.
Elas noticed everything but didn't understand why it was happening.
>> Who could have done this and why? She thought to herself. She had been keeping a close eye on the jungle. Elias knows that there is only one animal who is the naughtiest of all and is a troublemaker.
Jolly the naughty turtle. Maybe he is the cause of this problem. She said out loud. I need to find him quickly or else she said looking at the dry rivers and brown woods. Elias started to search for Jolly. She walked straight to the ancient tree where Jolly the naughty turtle used to live. There, Aaliyah saw Tekk, the shimmering, slithering snake.
"Have you seen Jolly the naughty turtle?" she asked. "He went off to a mission early this morning," replied Tika.
"He came back with a mysterious talking marble, and now he is hiding in the cave from the blazing sun.
She pointed to the cave with her forked flicking tongue. Elias ran immediately with her strong long legs towards the gloomy cave. She went inside the now hot cave and saw Jolly who had fainted due to thirst and heat. The dimmed dull marble was lying next to Jolly. Elias carried the marble gently and put it back to its place on the wall.
Suddenly, the cave rocked with a strong tremble, and a bright spark emitted from the small marble that filled the cave, leaving the marble gleaming and glowing with colors.
Elias apologized to the now smiley marble for the rude act of Jolly the naughty turtle. She gave the marble a gentle kiss, which made it glow even more. The marble glows happily again, uplifting all the spells and turning the jungle back to its natural form. The weather became cool with leafy, lush green trees standing tall and swirling in the cool breeze. The giant rocks of the river turned back to clear green splashing water full of life.
Antarctica's cold weather was back, making every possible life on Earth happy once again. Elias did her job well. She protected the environment and of course the earth and its life from a big climate catastrophe.
Elias has done it again, shouted the clever old owl, looking at the others.
Three happy cheers for Elias.
>> Another animal said, >> "Hooray, hooray!"
>> screamed all the animals clapping for Elias.
Meanwhile, Jolly was still on the floor unconscious.
Elias splashed some water on his face and he regained consciousness, looking embarrassed. He apologized to the animals, promising not to be naughty again or to cause harm to others or to the environment. He decided from now on to be known as the friendly fellow Jolly the Turtle. All the jungle animals clapped for him and they all lived happily ever after.
Message from Elas. Nobody really knows that animals go through many crises because of climate change. These days, of course, we animals have humans to worry about. But the biggest danger comes from man's inability to protect us and our natural habitat. Help keep us safe and help keep the nature around you safe and preserved for a sustainable future for all. Protect, preserve, save, keep it beautiful.
