A Quick Look at Forbidden SolitaireAdded:
Chuck Zimmerheld.
>> Jeff Grub.
>> Hey, let's uh let's log into my Windows here. What do you say? Uh I also changed my name to Will Roberta.
>> Oh, do you need me to help you? I I think you're logging into the wrong account.
>> Yeah. Could you just give me help? You give a little >> Yeah, I'm your IT administrator, so I'll just Okay. Yeah, go ahead.
>> Great. Fantastic. You think this is a a reference to Robera uh Williams or Yeah.
>> I also wondered that. But no, this isn't this is not your work computer, is it?
>> No, this is not my work computer. Uh, this is a special computer. Uh, copyrighted by Grey Alien Games. Uh, you know what? I have actually not clicked on some of these other things. Um, let me see.
>> Unfortunately, they're a little boring.
>> Yeah, I was kind of got the that's actually the sense I got that there's not much go like if they wanted me Oh, that actually just takes me straight to a website, huh? I bet this takes me to a Discord. Uh, >> let's load the statistics. Oh, that's interesting. That's a good way of doing things. Um, and then messages. I do get messages from my sister, but we'll, uh, check that out here in a second. Let's go and play some Forbidden Solitaire on this computer.
>> So, uh, yeah, if you couldn't tell yet that this is one of them fake OS games.
Uh, but then it has a game within its fake OS. Uh, and there's a maybe a bit more going on with the game than the gameplay itself. Oh, yeah. I should let this happen. Beating death.
Oh, somewhere beyond Blood Rock Mountain and through the deadly valleys of Gravewood, there it lies, known only by legend as the forbidden dungeon. It is said that any soul dare to plunge.
>> So, it's uh it this game looks like it's from 1995. It is from 2026, but they made it to look like a game from 1995.
this chain.
>> I want to figure out how to do like the screen effect that they have.
>> Yes. The sort of dithering or whatever.
Yeah. To live forever.
>> Yep. It's good stuff. These like early pre-rendered backgrounds and and honestly the pre-rendered characters.
It's really well done.
Oh no, my eyeball.
I was using that.
>> So, >> forbidden solitaire, >> it's kind of got like a um we saw the TV glow or whatever that movie's called, like just like, you know, it's a cheesy 1990s media paired up with an actual sense of foroting, an actual sense of like mystery, and they do a good job of capturing that side of things. But the main game is this sort of fake dungeon crawler. Fake fake as in like I'm not deciding where to go inside this dungeon. It is all just presented as a story and and it'll give me these like text bubbles that tell me what's going on. Your knees and hands ache as you scrabble your way through the tunnel's many twists and turns. A foul pungent odor overwhelms the senses. You need to get out of here. At last, your spirits lift as you spot a great ahead. You pray it leads to a way out. charging through the smell toward the great you find it resists your attempts to open it. It's locked. Well, I bet if I played Oh, I'm click one more button here. So, solitire I can get through it. Um, so yeah, it's forbidden solitaire. The game play is this solitire sort of thing. Uh, and it's it's pretty basic. They introduce some complexities, but the complexities don't really add depth to the strategy.
It's just there's like more going on.
Uh, and I'll try to explore some of that as we play here. Yeah, even calling it solitire is almost like >> yes >> overselling the game itself like the core game mechanic because it's missing some key components of solitaire but >> right it's it's you know it's a you know it is technically solitire in that you know it's a game you play a card game you play by yourself and solitaire covers a whole wide spectrum of those but there is like an official like you know canon solitire this is not that this is just like hey I have a jack so if there was a 10 or a nine up here oh sorry a 10 or a queen up here. I could click on that. It would get added here, get removed from the playfield up here, and I can keep going. But since there's not, I can uh I do have a couple options here. This is my special move that I can build up by playing these cards. I actually already have it built up from my last match. So, I'll just hit this.
>> Your Mana Storm. Yeah, >> my Mana Storm. It's going to deal damage to four cards and remove them at random.
>> So, there we go. Didn't really help me out too much, but we can >> like if your cards are pissing you off, you can just get rid of them.
>> Yep. Let's see here. Kings might be handy. Yeah, let's do this one. Uh, and then trade mana. No, I don't need that.
That's for battle. This is not a battle.
This is just a normal sort of action solitire moment. So, there are going to be moments where you're battling against another player. Another player, but like a boss. Um, so this is just like one of these moments where you don't want to waste a card like this. You just hang on to that. So, in this moment, we're just going to click this and see if we get another card. And then there we go.
There's the two. And there's these. It's almost like since it's in the trappings of a dungeon crawler, it's almost like these are skill checks where you have to play these little games of solitire before progressing, right?
>> Yeah. And it's you know, I think the game is definitely more about its presentation, its style, its um you know, the the the feeling of being in 1995 or playing a game from that time.
And that is like there's a meta layer here where I'm playing as that character Will Robera and uh they got this game in modern day and they remember it from their childhood. Their parents wouldn't let them play it. There was news stories about people playing it and dying and that stuff's getting revealed to you as well. So it's like this storytelling mechanism and the soliter is almost a uh a sort of pacing modifier of like let's throw in some stuff to like keep things going. Uh >> yeah, just part of the vehicle. just part of the vehicle, right? It's not this is not like you could look at this and you could see see like, oh, I is it like Batro, like one of these games that takes a simple game uh or a game that can be simplified and then adds a ton of layers on it. Like in fact, these are even called jokers. Um, and it's like, no, it's it's not like that at all.
Although it does present itself that way.
>> It's funny. It's like we kind of forget that jokers are part of like a deck of cards. It's like it's part of the parlance of a deck of card. Not specifically to Bellatro, but it's like >> yes, but at this at this point like yeah like uh there are so many games that do that because of Batro that it's it is both those things at the same time.
>> Uh all right, let's see here. What is this one? Divine flush change the suit of all playable cards to match the target card. Also cleans cleanses some malign effects. I actually haven't found a reason to do this yet. There's maybe Oh, like I guess there's a couple times where there's like a lock on a thing that can only be opened up if you play a certain suit. I guess that makes sense.
>> That or later you'll get something where you play that and then you can kill everything of a certain suit.
>> Ah, okay. Perfect.
>> So, it just blitzes through all your cards. It's pretty satisfying.
>> Uh, I could go to the five or the >> This game does show flashes of that like those satisfying combos. Have you gotten over 10 in this game, by the way? 10 combos.
>> I don't know if I have. I think I think I've Oh, I think I did once, actually.
It did once cuz it gave me like some not like notification that I did.
>> Yeah, we got to make that a goal. The quick luck to uh >> All right, let's pop that. Yeah, let's see here.
I'm a uh I'm a card game sicko. Um really really loved Bellatro was my game of the year that year. It's definitely not one of those.
But it's still it's riffing on and playing with the game solitire um and [ __ ] with it in a in a fun way, but it doesn't get like I wouldn't say it gets mechanically complex until 3/4 of the way through for me.
>> I uh I agree. Like this is just it's kind of mindless, but not in a way that's um not it's not like outright bad or anything like that. It's just it's just like, yeah, we're we're just kind of poking through here and doing some stuff in this card game and then I get to see the next little vignette and something cool happens in between these things and then you do a boss fight that's a little bit more interesting, but not that different from this. So, yeah.
See here. And I wish I can get that eight.
I want to learn how to do the 3D modeling that they kind of have going on in this game.
>> Yeah, >> just like those ugly ass monsters.
So, we can just keep doing this. Uh, now there there is like a fail state here.
If we get through all these cards, we will fail. Um, and then basically what happens is you get a game over and then you come right back here and start this battle over. So, it's um a very low stake situation. That's another thing.
It's like, oh, they just kind of want you to see all the cool stuff they made.
And I think what really curious this game is, it is cool stuff. I think it's pretty cool. Uh I like I like seeing what this game has to offer in terms of here's what we remember from being like from 1995 and playing games at that time and or like watching news stories about the moral panic and stuff. And I think they do a good job of all of that. So I forgive a lot of these things that aren't as engaging.
And there's like some I don't know with games like this when you have FMB elements or anything like voice acting you don't it doesn't need to be good in games like this but it is here it actually is like extremely solid.
>> Um the I think there's like a character she's like the main character that's >> sort of like the past is retold through her whoever is voicing that does a really solid job.
>> Yeah.
All right. So yeah this kind of goes uh there's also a shop here. So, uh, last time we got some I love this.
>> Love this. This whole style here is good stuff. Uh, you know, you start off with just your hand and I just keep adding these things and, uh, doesn't look like there's anything actually in the store right now, but uh, I've I have purchased all these things and had them had them installed. They get doled out um, in the store like one or two things at a time.
I think it's probably going to be pretty linear. It's not like random like, oh, you oh, you're just going to you're going to build your own uh way of playing or anything like that. Again, I think they are just trying to make something that is a vehicle for the content.
>> I like your uh I like your coke nail.
That was really >> Oh, yeah. That's I mean, I just it matches my real coke nail.
>> Yeah, exactly.
>> All right, let's see here. I like to go this way.
>> It's one of those games where like you don't need a strategy. You could just click and click and click and get through it. But if you're doing it right and thinking about cards that you're uncovering or what cards you can use that have the most cards they couldn't cover, that's when you can start, you know, really getting into those longer combos. Yes.
>> And then there is like that undo button.
I don't know if you >> I just did it. So I just played something when I could have actually played something on the field. You saw it shake and it lets you know that hey, you can undo it. And now we can hit that. I think we now we know the next thing is going to be an ace. So, that's handy. Um, oh man, I should have played the three instead. I should have played the three instead, but oh well. Uh, all right.
>> You know, you probably should have played the three instead.
>> I should have played the three instead.
That's how it goes sometimes. Here's my question about this game, and I haven't seen this answered anywhere. Are all of these puzzles for each of these like encounters and stuff, are they actually all solvable?
>> Yeah, because the real game Solitaire, every game of Solitaire is a solvable problem, right?
Uh I >> I take now I want to Google that.
>> Yeah, double check that actually. Yeah, go ahead and uh let's actually answer that cuz people yell at us in the comments as that's not true.
>> Not that that's a problem. You should yell at us. Means I know you're paying attention. Um >> ding ding ding. Not every game of Solitaire is winnable.
>> Okay, cuz that was that's been my experience like back when I played solitaire on uh Windows back in the day.
But I was like I could also just been bad.
>> Oh [ __ ] Um, so but Freell, if you are familiar with that one, did you you ever play Freell?
>> Uh, I did play some Freell. Yeah.
>> Yeah. There's 1 million different deals of Freell that you can play and only one of them is unsolvable.
>> That's nuts. Okay.
>> So, it's true, but it depends on the kind of solitire. So, like Klondike, which is like the standard kind, only one in five of those is impossible.
>> Let's see. What do I want to destroy?
The math of that would hurt my brain a little bit. Like now I'm wondering how they did free cell.
Uh, >> all right.
>> I haven't thought about free cell in a long time.
>> Yeah. Uh, same. I kind of want to like Is it I mean I'm I'm sorry. I'm just hitting it on my >> He's all having to do >> Yeah, I legitimately just like hit the Windows key and typed free cell to see if it's still on here. Um, all right.
>> Amazing.
>> Let's see here.
>> You kids, you would have loved it. We used to hit our hit our Windows key and pull up mind sweeper solid here.
Windows XP, Space Cadet, Pinball.
>> So yeah, Ski Free was uh that was our religion. That's that's our family still worships that little monster that eats the skiers. Uh all right. Yep. This guy has been great or the guy like this, but there's a good bit early on where basically you fight this first zombie like five times. It's really good. Uh, finally you see it attached to the chains end. A bound prisoner weeps as they hang inverted, their blood dripping down into the abyss below. Oh no. As you spot them, the bound prisoner begins to shake more violently. With a bloody burst, a stream of maggots pours from their eyes and mouth, their cries now muffled. With a visceral crack, a Leviathan maggot savagely breaks through the prisoner's chest. Its long serpentine body lashes wildly before shri striking toward you.
You guys use a term um and it I kept thinking of it while playing this which is gross up.
>> Yes. Gross up.
>> Gross closeup. It does that all the time.
>> Yeah. So gross up is from Ren and Stimpy animators. Uh like when they would have the characters look disgusting in a close-up, they called them grossups. And uh yeah, that's something that a lot of animators carried through and now it's like definitely widely known in uh artistic circles for sure. All right, so now there's new stuff in the shop. Uh kryonite ring. Uh, let's see. Plus 5% chance to inflict a critical hit. Price is 100. Yeah, I'm going to >> crit.
>> Yeah, crit. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Critite.
Uh, and then let's see here see the Lex Telenovous. T Yeah, Telenos. Uh, 10% chance to counterattacks for three damage. Both of these are good. I can only afford one right now. Let's go with Critite.
Oh, yeah. And look at that. You jam it into your finger and the blood starts dripping.
>> Hell yeah.
>> I just love that. Uh, also this eyeball.
>> I do love the eyeball. I should have had an eyeball to the website. Yeah.
Trying to see if I can make it dizzy and like steal stuff from the store. You never know. All right.
So, this is a battle. 25 health. He's got one shield. That means anytime I do uh an attack, the first point of damage will not hurt them. We'll show what why that matters.
>> Attacking you with Wi-Fi.
>> He does look like that. Screech. a cacophinous shriek that forces you to drop a random Joker and deal three deals the three damage. Okay, so let's see here.
>> This game does a good job of giving you all the information. Y um tells you what's happening. Hover over things.
They'll tell you what they do.
>> Oh, okay. So now, uh because he's infested with maggots, this is not the first time I've seen these. Uh when when played, this card explodes, inflicting one damage upon you. I kind of feel like I don't really have a choice, though. I still have to kind of play them.
>> Yeah. So, it's like a if you have cards that get rid of things like your mana storm, right? That's where you could clean things up.
>> Exactly. Yeah. I kind of don't want to waste it right away, but I might do it anyhow. Let's see here. Let's get this first.
Um, all right. Nothing really to play.
All right. That was handy. Although, I think it got rid of the four I could have used.
That's fine.
Hell yeah. Let's see here. So, I think the times three is not times three of the damage you currently have. It's just damage three times if I remember correct.
>> That makes sense. Yes.
>> Uh, okay. I want to end the turn.
Let's see.
Yeah, that made sense.
All right, let's do it. So, I think we're going to do 12 damage right now. 11.
>> There we go. All right. Uh, perfect.
Those are doing instant one hits of damage to him. Those skulls, that's what they do.
That added that shield added two shield to me. So when he attacks me, any the first two hit points will get blocked, which looks like you're going to turn off anyway.
>> Yeah, these are temporary, right? So yeah.
>> Uh the shield. Yeah.
>> Yep.
>> Oh, crit. Uh >> yeah, your crit night ring. Did you even have crit percentage before then? I don't think you did.
>> I don't think so.
>> One of the gems might have done it.
It's really satisfying going from like an eight to a nine to an eight to the nine, right?
>> Yes. Yes. The back and forth. Yeah. And especially when you like foresee that and begin like thinking ahead and you know, you don't have perfect information about your cards, but you do have like probability. You like you can kind of sense how many card I mean you could just know if you want to keep track of that stuff, but that's not how I'm going to play this game. I'm going to like sort of feel it out. Be like I've seen a bunch of eights. I'll try to like lean in this direction instead since I've already played a lot of eights. I'll go down instead. And uh that that's been a pretty handy way to play so far.
Uh so I've not defeated him yet. So I cleared all those cards. Doesn't matter.
We're trying to defeat him. I could have hit this button at any point and it would have given me a whole new hand. Uh you can do that once per battle, but we were going pretty well there. So I figured I'll just see it through. And now we'll keep going at this point. Uh let's get that.
And there we go. Got the win.
Um, >> this game is creepy pasta. Essentially, it's more creepy pasta than it is like a card game, if that makes sense.
>> I think that's No, I think that's fair.
It's a little bit of a um Five Night Five Nights at Freddy's for uh '90s nostalgia. Although, I guess that's also >> for old people. That's right.
>> For old people. Yes. Uh, with horror, you peer into the pit to witness the glimmer of thousands of beady red eyes looking back at you from the darkness.
Rising.
>> You were killing all its children.
>> Rising with a sinister hum of shimmering translucent wings. The buzzing grows louder as it races at you. An enormous disgusting display of eyes, wings, and feelers blurring your wearing weary vision. All right, let's do another people go to like wine and pottery classes or like wine and painting. I want I want a class where it's wine and 3D modeling to make these flies and worms. I really want to do the um the the like the bruise and braids the uh British people are doing at bars where these dads go to bars and they drink and they practice uh braiding hair so they can be better braiding their their daughter's hair. I'm like, "Ah, I need to do that so bad. It's I have long hair. You think I'd be better at it." I am not. I'm terrible.
>> Uh all right. Did I Yes. I was done at the shop. All right. So, we're going to fight this one out. So, Oh, here we go.
Here. I was hoping something like this would happen. Messages from Emily Robera, my sister. Whoa. Okay. Okay.
Listen up, buckaroo. I found some good [ __ ] So, you know the developer who died, Shannon, whatever. Well, I tried to find info on the symbol carved into their into those weird daggers she used.
And it looks like it might have ties to an occult group called the Keepers. This is like getting like freaky freaky. Hope you're enjoying this cuz I ain't stopping now. I'm on a roll, bro. Image attached. So, >> Emily seems cool. Emily see Emily see seems cool. This is not overdone. She breaks in every once in a while. It's not like every 30 seconds she's like bothering you with something. Uh every time she does hit. It's exciting cuz she usually brings some new interesting piece of information about uh this forbidden solitire game that you're playing. And now we can see this the captured eye symbol. Uh we've seen some videos. We could check those out as well uh when we break out of here in a second.
>> You also don't even need to read. You could have just exed out of it and not even looked at what she sent you and it's like it just lets you go anyway.
>> Yep. Exactly. All right. So, this thing right here, suit lock. To unlock, uh, play cards matching the suit shown on the lock until the counter reaches zero.
Um, cuz we got a couple of spades up here. Kind of see that. We'll be able to get that here pretty soon. See here.
This is not the first solitary game from these devs, right? I think they did Regency solitary.
>> Uh that's right. Yeah, I forgot about that. Uh but yeah, you're you're right.
Um let's see here.
>> I'm a big uh Zactronics head and their solitire collection that they have out on Steam is extremely good. If you like this kind of thing, can highly recommend it.
>> Oh, here's the shuffle. We could show this off. So, we just mix everything up if we have one of these cards.
>> I love the magic hand.
>> Yes. I I love all that sort of interface stuff that they do. Um, okay. Let's see here. Nine, eight.
Uh, all right. We need diamonds. Um, we go.
See, now there's finally one diamond on here. Uh, can't play that one yet.
Don't want to destroy anything. No, do this.
>> You're getting slurped on.
>> I got slurped, dude.
Let's see.
This is tricky.
>> Yeah, >> you did what I would have done.
>> I think that's that felt right. Do I want to I want to go this way now.
>> Yep.
>> Uh, all right. That five. Do we have anything?
>> I want that wicked combo crop.
>> I know. We got that one where we did a ton. It didn't say anything. Uh, all right. You know, I'm just going to do this now.
Oh, it's just change change the suit.
Yeah, right to the target. I got it.
Right.
>> There we go. I can't play anything at the moment.
>> Can you use that on the lock? The little magic spell.
>> Oh, that's that's that's interesting.
No.
>> No.
>> Uh, the enemy is about to dodge. Hover over the enemy's next action for details. So, let's see here. evade the next attack. So, they're going to dodge the next attack. So, kind of feel like I should just do some maintenance here.
That's good.
Don't have a king. Don't have a two.
All right.
So, he's no longer going to dodge that.
It's annoying because it's like that enabled you to play the next card, but it doesn't actually get added down here.
So, these maggots are just destroying the card as I'm clicking on them. But thankfully, there's plenty of other stuff out here.
I should have done the queen. My bad.
>> Back up. Back up.
Yeah.
All right. That's pretty good.
Yeah. I can't tell if like when you shuffle a tableau, does it is it kind of like you skip their turn or is it just >> goes to the next turn?
>> So, it did. Yeah, it I did that and then it damaged him and set my damage back to zero. So, I think it just activate that.
That was the end of my turn and we both kind of went That's what it seems like to me at least.
>> Mhm. Uh, all right. We have that diamond.
Let's see.
It's getting kind of hairy. Like we both have 11 hit points.
>> It's not giving you a lot to go on, unfortunately.
>> No, not a ton, but that's good.
>> So, let me pitch you on something. Yeah, I was going to say blast the eight.
Yeah, >> but then that'll get you the six and then the seven. But then we're out in eight, you know.
>> Yeah, >> but getting the armor was good.
>> Yes, that was that was worth it. That was a good uh use of resources. Um okay, this we're doing all right.
That's annoying.
I think honestly. Yeah, you take that times three and end turn. I think you kill him.
>> Yep.
>> But he's dodging.
>> [ __ ] >> Oh [ __ ] I didn't see that either. Okay.
>> That was my bad.
>> Nope. It's all right.
>> All right. Let's see here.
Some of the spells are a little um what's the word?
Like they're not they're not overly detailed. It'll say like delete this row or damage a couple and it's like well what does that mean exactly?
>> Right. Exactly. And and the answer is you know it doesn't matter kind of game.
It doesn't matter.
>> It's not that Right. It's it's you know Harrison Ford turning to Mark Hamilton saying it's not that kind of pitcher.
Like it's just it's this is not that kind of game. Um >> absolutely. And you know, I I I think that is going to be a negative for some, but if you're looking at this and it's like stirring something into in you, it is delivering on that level. So, I'm going to skip through this stuff. Let's uh see here. Can I All right, let's quit to hand exit to DOS. I think that would quit the game, right?
>> If you exit to No, it'll take you to the desktop. If you go to the desktop and then back to the conversation, are you able to go to the old >> Yes, that's what I was going to check.
Yes.
>> Yeah.
>> So, >> yeah, there you go.
>> Yeah. Let's see here.
>> A group of demonstrators gathered outside the Heartblade interactive offices this morning in >> game developers burning hell.
>> We're always saying that >> forbidden solitire. The game, a dark fantasy adaptation of the classic game Solitaire, recently found its way to stores and quickly drew criticism from parent groups for its violent content.
The game includes graphic scenes involving eye gouging, impalement, bloody rituals, and more.
the black bars over their eyes.
>> Violent. It's [ __ ] solitary.
>> Software company responsible for the game, Heartblade Interactive, has declined to comment in the wake of the controversy. The company's founder is former fantasy author Lucas B. Hart, who has recently been working to keep the game from being banned in several countries, including Germany, Brazil, and >> Oh, Zavir. Uh, all right. Yeah, like you can see the the ad here. It's time for grub guesser, everybody. Yeah, you're right. It's forbidden solitire. Um here's >> I love the fake ads and the fake review.
>> Fake review from Romero. Yeah, that's good stuff.
>> Uh four out of 10. Um Oh, yeah. Here's one of the the the incident report. The developer that died and had like a ceremonial dagger stuck in their eyes. Actually, two cere ceremonial daggers stuck in each eye. Uh >> I'm even like suspicious that the last name they gave her was Sierra. I'm like Sierra Games.
>> I I mean I I think that you're 100% right that that is all deliberate. Um another one.
>> Can video games cause violence?
>> Hell yes.
>> That's a question many parents have been asking as video games become increasingly bloody and realistic.
But tonight we ask a different type of question. Can video games kill?
Tonight, we'll answer that question as we dive into the mystery of a child's strange death and the connection it might have to a disturbing banned video game.
But is it the truth or is it just a tale?
>> Jonathan Franks would have loved this.
>> Yep.
I mean, they just they get what they're doing with all this like this. It's, you know, uh kind of remedy coded. It's just well done.
>> You guys compared it to Inscription on the uh on the bomb cast and I I would say I I nearly rever that game. It does it does this like perfectly.
>> Yes, >> this is like gesturing toward that for sure, but it's not it's not on Inscriptions level.
>> Purchasing a controversial video game.
Those plans changed for the worse.
>> I didn't even know he had a copy.
>> I don't know where he would have >> like Garrett. Garrett Gar play it, >> but after this is catnip for us. Mhm.
>> I knew I knew it was responsible for what happened to him.
We didn't have a picture of him, but we had these flowers dead at his computer, but the circumstances around his death were nothing short of extraordinary with no trace.
>> I'll cut it there. It keeps going.
There's more stuff in there. It's It's worth watching. Uh I I do want to see what else they have in terms of this mystery. Uh what's really going on. Um I I imagine that this um this OS like more stuff will happen in here, but I you know that that's kind of been the extent of it so far is the messages and then the game.
>> Um >> um nothing else happens in the OS. I will spoil that for you. Sorry. I don't want you to be disappointed.
>> I will say the game crashed on me at one point and it opened up like a error message and I was I was like, "Okay, is this a bit? Are they doing a thing?"
Like I I think it was actually an error message.
>> Uhhuh. But you don't know.
>> Nothing nothing crazy like uh like an inscription where you get up from the table and go around. It's nothing like that in this. But um the messages from the the player characters like sister and stuff keep escalating which is it's really fun. Uh but yeah, that's Forbidden Solitaire. Uh I I'm into it.
Like I you know it's um I am always down for a game that tries to like be mechanically deep. When a game's not trying to do that, it's trying to do something else. I'm ready to meet it on its level. And I was glad I did that here because it's um there's just yeah, like you said, catnip with all all the references and sort the visual references and then the explicit reference to like John Romero and Richard Garrett and stuff like that is always fun. Uh but yeah, Chuck, that was Forbidden Solitary. Thanks for hanging out with me. Thanks, Jeff Crab.
